if ONLY because i was at work yesterday out in the play yard and one of the babies from the one year old room walked up to me, held up her arms and went "up. up" and i caved like a wet fucken nOODLE and im inflicting that onto Bruce

so im just picturing like, roughly 18mo Danny, just absolutely teeny, walking up to Bruce in the Batman suit, grabbing his cape and pulling on it to get his attention or plastering himself to the side of his legs (<- real experience i've had) and when Bruce looks down at him Danny just goes "Bah-man, bah-man. Up."

and im teLLING YOU. Bruce would cave in a fucking heartbeat.

or if he crouches down, Danny will just crawl onto him anyways. wraps both arms around his neck and tries to raise his leg over his knee so he can wrap himself around his waist (<- ALSO A REAL EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD)

also he can't fully articulate himself yet, he doesn't have all of his teeth quite yet and phonetics are harD, so he can't say Bruce it just sounds like "boo" or "booce" like 'boost' but without the 't'.

So does anybody else ever think about how Loop felt the need to demonstrate that the party's deaths wouldn't have any effect on the loops. I know I do but that's besides the point. Anyway I don't think Loop actually needs to bathe, they just like to feel included.

as much as I love batgirl 2024, I have to admit the lack of Barbara Gordon mentions in the whole series so far, especially with the first arc having such a big theme of motherhood/daughterhood and the things that comes with it, makes me soo sad. Barbara was the first person Cass actually considered as a mother! Barbara, although she wasn’t the best at it at first, truly did try to understand and love Cass unconditionally even when she was separated from the Bat mantle! And that panel where Cass overhears Barbara tell Dick that she doesn’t know how to really care for Cass could’ve been the perfect parallel to the whole “is a Mother just being connected by blood? No, Something more is owed/Being a daughter is more than being connected by blood” lines that Cass says in the last (current) issue because Barbara, though she did not physically bring Cass into this world, has sacrificed SO much for her, and in return Cass gave so much back.

LUCIAN -> TAMAKI: tamaki? i think he’s cool, he’s kinda like me, so we see eye to eye on a lot of things. i… don’t remember how we became friends honestly. i usually ride solo but he’s alright, i don’t mind keeping him around (secretly kinda happy that he has a friend though, as much as he won’t admit it)

i also decided to try something new! here's how he is in a relationship :D

TAMAKI tends to cater to your needs and tries to treat you as well as possible but can become unstable at times. he will never ever take his anger out on you but instead becomes sad and desperate. he hates getting into arguments and will beg for forgiveness if he thinks you’re upset with him, but if he’s upset with you he tries to guilt you into feeling bad and spending more time with him. he likes to take care of you as much as he can, if you guys are in a relationship he will make you feel loved constantly, he likes keeping you happy. he’s very insecure and needs a lot of reassurance but he can make you happy he promises! he likes taking you shopping and dressing you up. he especially likes it when you help pick out clothes for him. he wants to pamper you as much as he can. he gives you some of his sweaters, his arm covers, and lets you basically do whatever you want. he likes having your attention on him so he loves to stay near you, he loves it when you guys play games together and loves to play the guitar for you. he gets really flustered and giggly when you do his makeup or hair, he loves you so much. he is the happiest when he is around you and would drop anything to be with you. if you ever left him he would die. he can’t live without you.

One of the probable reasons as to why Kaeya didn't arrive on time for Crepus and Diluc when they were attacked was because he, and the knights with him, had no vision, and thus, cannot use a teleport waypoint.

Him receiving his cryo vision when he was supposed to get scorched by Diluc was genuinely the biggest slap to the face given to him by Celestia. It arrived just in time to save HIM.

Even now, the vision only heals and shields him alone as a manifestation of his desire to keep living from that fight... but he can't use it to help others.

The whole “be responsible not for other people’s feelings but to them” distinction is so so true… at some point you need to realize that other people’s insecurities really are their responsibility & dimming or contorting yourself to make them feel better helps neither you nor them. Firstly, bc they need to realize what they’re doing and grow up. And secondly, bc you’re not just compromising on a one-time thing. You’re comprising on who you are as a person. I don’t want to look back when I’m older and stay stuck wishing I held my ground despite people’s projections or asserted my presence more or didn’t apologize so much for who I am. I really just want to own everything (the good and bad) & continue doing what makes me happy
