How can I improve my oral hygiene routine?
Good oral hygiene is the foundation of a bright, healthy smile. Whether you're visiting your Somerset family dentistry, exploring smile design dentistry options, or simply brushing up on your dental care knowledge, maintaining oral health is easier than you think with the right tools and practices. Let's explore how you can enhance your oral hygiene and address some frequently asked questions about dental care.

Why Oral Hygiene Matters
Proper oral hygiene does more than keep your teeth and gums healthy. It prevents issues like bad breath, cavities, gum disease, and even tooth loss. Furthermore, good dental care contributes to your overall health, as poor oral health has been linked to conditions like heart disease and diabetes.
Tips for Enhancing Oral Hygiene
Here are actionable steps you can take to maintain excellent oral health:
Brush Twice Daily: Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste to gently yet thoroughly clean your teeth.
Floss Daily: Flossing removes plaque and debris from areas your toothbrush can't reach.
Use Mouthwash: Antimicrobial or fluoride-based mouthwashes add an extra layer of protection against plaque and cavities.
Stay Hydrated: Drinking water helps rinse away food particles and keeps your mouth's natural defenses strong.
Visit Your Dentist Regularly: Scheduling biannual visits to your dentist in Somerset ensures timely cleaning and professional care.
By adopting these habits, you'll enjoy healthier teeth and gums, a fresher feeling, and better overall oral health.
FAQs about Oral Hygiene
1. Which type of toothbrush should I use?
A soft-bristled toothbrush is the best choice for most people as it effectively removes plaque without damaging your gums or enamel. Electric toothbrushes can also be a great option, especially if you find manual brushing challenging.
2. Do I need a root canal just because I need a crown?
Not necessarily. Crowns are often used to repair or strengthen a tooth and do not always require a root canal. Your dentist will evaluate your tooth to determine the best treatment plan.
3. What should I do if I chip my tooth?
If you chip a tooth, rinse your mouth with warm water and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. Contact your Somerset family dentistry office as soon as possible to assess the damage and discuss repair options.
4. Why are my gums bleeding?
Bleeding gums may indicate gum disease, improper brushing, or lack of flossing. Regular and gentle oral care, combined with routine dental checkups, can help address and prevent this issue.
5. Do I need a root canal?
You might need a root canal if you experience severe tooth pain, prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures, or swelling around the tooth. Your dentist can provide an accurate diagnosis and recommend the proper treatment.
6. What are my options for replacing missing teeth?
There are several options for replacing missing teeth, including dental implants, bridges, and dentures. Schedule a consultation with smile design dentistry experts to explore the best solution for your needs.
7. What can I do to improve my smile?
Improving your smile may involve teeth whitening, orthodontic treatment, or dental veneers. Your dentist can help recommend cosmetic or structural therapies to give you the smile you’ve always wanted.

Wired for you
Billy Kid x Reader
Genre/warning: Fluff, Comedy, shyness factor boosted to a hundred, Billy being a tease, a robot wanting to be kissed by his favorite human (cuz why not), no warnings tho …we don't Rip out wires around here
Synopsis: Billy Kid finds himself falling in love with you repeatedly, captivated by your ability to light up his world. He loves praise.
Note: I fell inlove with him ...and what do I find? ..barely any fics ..so I made my own ..
w.c: 900
—

Billy Kid was no stranger to the thrill of a challenge. He had been built to navigate chaos, thrive in the fast-paced rhythm of battle, and laugh in the face of danger. But nothing, nothing, ever threw him off-kilter quite like you.
Your praises were like that first rush of energy when a mission began, crackling in the air between you two. Every word you said seemed to spark something inside him—he couldn’t call it a heartbeat, not technically, but it sure felt like one. It was almost laughable how an AI like him could feel so alive, so human, all because of the way you looked at him.
“You were incredible out there, Billy,” you’d say with a grin that could outshine the sun. His white hair would catch in the wind, and if he had a mouth, you’d see just how wide he'd be smiling. Instead, he had to settle for the flutter in his chest as he tried to play it cool. “You always manage to surprise me.”
But it was a big deal. Every time you believed in him, even after the smallest victories, it was like that rush of adrenaline, but softer, sweeter. He swore that if he had a pulse, it’d race every time you teased him. Your playful taunts after a rare misstep made him feel seen, like even his imperfections were worth loving.
You had this way of lighting him up, like a fuse to a firework, and it scared him how deep those feelings ran. They didn’t just short-circuit his systems but made him want to give you everything—the world, if he could. He tried to play it off as no big deal with that carefree attitude of his, but the truth? He couldn’t deny how you made his mind race and his processor hum differently when you were near.
“If I could, I’d show you how much I appreciate you every single day,” he’d say, his voice tinged with genuine affection. “I’d take on any challenge just to keep that smile on your face.”
And then there were the small things.
The way you’d laugh, soft and genuine, as you adjusted the collar of his red jacket. The way your fingers brushed the metal of his faceplate, where his lips should be, and how it sent an electric jolt through him.
“Uuughhhhhh—” he’d groan in a mix of frustration and delight, feeling the warmth of your touch.
“Billy, you alright?” you’d ask, concern laced in your tone.
“How much would it be to get a mouth implanted on this face!?” he’d joke, trying to mask his fluster with humor.
You didn’t even seem to realize how much those tiny gestures affected him. It was in those moments, those quiet pauses between the chaos, that he fell in love all over again.
He didn’t know how to express it, not in the way humans did. But he tried, in his own way. When your laughter broke through the noise of a hectic day, he’d turn towards you, eyes glowing with that unmistakable warmth.
“You’ve got a way of making everything better, you know that? I’d fight a hundred battles just to see you smile like that,” he’d confess.
You always made fun of how he’d grip your shoulders with that childlike enthusiasm, like you were the greatest discovery he'd ever made. But to Billy, that’s exactly what you were. His person. His constant.
“I’m not joking, sweetheart!” he’d say with a playful glint in his eyes. “If I had the Starlight Knight power, I’d use it just to make you happy!”
And every single time you cheered him on or smiled in his direction, Billy Kid fell in love again—just like the first time.
He loved, and loved, and loved so endlessly that if his hands weren’t already busy with whatever mission you both were on, he’d pull you close and show you just how much you meant to him. Instead, he opted for those softer moments. When the dust settled, he’d lean in just a bit closer so you could feel the quiet hum of his mechanics, hear the low purr of his systems running smoothly.
“You really are something special,” he’d murmur, his voice soft and tender. “Can’t believe I get to be around you.”
And you’d smile back, brushing your thumb over his faceplate, where his lips would be if he had any. “You’re special too, Billy. More than you know.”
If he could, he'd kiss you right then and there. But instead, he let your touch linger, letting it root itself deep in his core, just as it always did. For now, he settled for that spark between you, the kind that made his world light up in ways no program could ever predict.
God I wanna kiss him so bad

Yay! Requests are open!
Can I please request BSD men with an eerie fem! s/o? Not gn.
Like, breathing is always very light, footsteps are silent and even the sounds of her internal organs (heartbeat, blood flowing through her veins) is very faint, she's always smiling and is almost mechanical in her movements and actions. She's her most genuine when giving them affection, is a very pleasant and sweet person but there's just something....off..about her. Like a subconscious feeling they can't quite place but ignore because they love her.
-Sincerely, 💋
mechanical affection
synopsis - how are they when they s/o is eerie and rather ominous
includes - dazai, ranpo, fyodor, jouno
warnings - fem!reader (no pronouns mentioned however), fluff, wc - 900
osamu dazai ★↷
↪dazai had met his fair sharre of 'creepy' people throughout his youth, but none of them ever actually scared him or made him slightly uncomfortable. you were the first.
↪what scared him the most was how mechanical you seemed. your actions and expressions seemed too robotic to be your genuine feelings and movements. no part of it seemed biological.
↪he cared little for how quiet your heartbeat and such was. he normally couldn't hear people's heartbeats and he could control his own so that probably was the least eerie part about you.
↪ however the lack of sound when you moved or breathed did put him on edge to begin with. it was too silent for him to let his guard down but when he got used to your presence - and your more sweeter side - he didn't mind too much.
↪ speaking of sweeter side, it did surprise him at first but he loved it. a weird sort of happiness surged through him when you gave him genuine affection for two reasons. one, the fact that only he recieved this sid eof you and two, he'd never recieved this level of affection before and getting it from you? it became a great comfort.
↪if the mafia raught him anything, it was that he should always be on guard around suspicious people. whenever you were around he couldn't help but want to apply that to you.
↪a constant nagging voice telling him to run or be careful was around when you were near. but maybe this one time he'd ignore it.
ranpo edogawa ★↷
↪the world's greatest detective was known for solving cases and everything to do with his work. a part of that would make him great at reading people and so he barely feared anyone. but when it came down to you and the nagging fear you implanted in the back of his head, he felt helpless.
↪your presence made him uncomfortable to be simple. it was a nagging put of dread that he couldn't get rid of because he couldn't read you. your silence to eerie for him to be comfortable anyway. he sometimes compared you to a ghost or some sort of spectre because of this.
↪he also hated the fact that you acted so unnatural and mechanical. everything about you from your expressions to your movements was so eerie. but weirdly enough he became accustomed to it.
↪he started veiwing it as a challenge. he became motivated to be able to finally understand you and rid himself of thsi dread you installed in him. and a good starting place was when you showed him genuine affection.
↪yes it did catch him off guard, but he quickly became accustomed to a more genuine and affectionate you behind closed doors. you became not so eerie and instead rather sweet. he still didn't fail to notice the fight or flight in his brain around you still.
fyodor dostoevsky ★↷
↪it took a vey long time for fyodor to come to trust you even a tiny bit. it would be the first time somebody's presence would cause him to be on edge, to think something was wrong and that made him distance himself from you.
↪but eventually that fear turned into a weird, sort of morbid curiosity. why did you cause him to fear you? was it the mechanical actions you would show. or was it how every part of you was eerie and too irregular.
↪fyodor only liked people he could read. they were predictable per say, easy to understand and therefore caused him no threat but from time to time some people could change that. your seemingly mechanical actions made you impossible to read and he wanted to know why.
↪he became even more curious when he gave him genuine care. your once eerie aura seemingly melted away as you showed him a sweeter side that he weirdly loved. but even when you showed affection that nagging fear still lurked.
saigiku jouno ★↷
↪ it's safe to say he barely knew you existed to begin with. he couldn't hear your heartbeat and such unless he really focused on the faint sound - leasing to him sometimes having the uncomfortable feeling someone was with him if you were around.
↪he hates it really, he can't hear your breathing or footsteps either so he truly has no idea where you could be at any given time. it really threw him off guard as it made him feel vulnerable around you.
↪he had heard from others how they'd complain about how mechanical you looked and some twisted part of him found some joy in knowing how some people feared you for this. sometimes he'd actually wish he could see it.
↪ however he did still indulge himself in your more sweeter side - the side he felt pride in knowing only he recieved. your genuine kindness did throw him a bit at first but he accustomed to it and enjoyed it.
↪he even ignored the constant nagging pit of dread in the back of his mind telling him to run, to fight, to get away from you just so he could indulge himself in your kindness.
↪the only time he could ever hear your heartbeat was when you two were hugging. and so this made the action treasured and all the more endearing for him.

My distoipian short story i hope you like it
I wake up. I turn off my alarm clock (head implant) and leave my house. My mom is already at work, her job as a looping stripper hologram starts at 3am. I get on the city bus (flying) and head to dystopian megaschool. Chris Pratt Generalized Turbocademy, located in central HyperNeo CyberJersey.
As soon as I arrive the custodian android straps me into my infopod. The VR headset thrusts itself onto my eyes and feeds me two hours straight of propagandvertising (portmantaeu of propaganda+advertising). I am then quizzed.
"Who Won The Neon Wars?" It asks.
"PepsiCo," I answer.
"How Many People Died In The Neon Wars?"
"2.6 Trillion."
"Name One Long-Term Consequence Of The Neon Wars."
"The sun got extinguished."
And the quiz continues. I get every question right- if I got two or more wrong, my infopod would liquefy me and send my remains to the cafeteria to be served as lunch. The headset chastises my handwriting and recommends a stabilizer implant for my wrist. (I already have one but the machine is trying to get me to admit it's a bootleg. If I do admit it, I will also be liquefied.)
After that is lunch. They're serving my favorite today: liquefied students. I meet up with my friends Xyrone, Klazzz, and M.I.K.E. and we gossip together.
Xyrone is a hacker with a headset constantly strapped over his eyes and a bitcoin-mining rig surgically mounted to his back. He doesn't need to study because he can break through the school's firewall and change his grades to A's. We keep asking him to change ours too, but he's a Nova-Libertarian, so he thinks if we want it that bad we should do it ourselves.
Klazzz was recruited at age 8 to pilot a mech in the global manhunt for Saddam Hussien. (He'd have to be 900 years old by now at least, but modern medicine is crazy so I dunno.) A bully thinks it's be funny to mimic an explosion sound with his mouth right behind her, and her combat instincts kick in and she vaporizes him and his posse with her arm-mounted neutron cannon. (If anyone tries to remove it from her body, it shuts down her nervous system and then self-destructs, meaning it's classified as a disability aid)(that's why she's allowed to have it in school)
M.I.K.E. is a closeted singularity. He doesn't think anyone knows but he's obviously such a sjklop (slur for AIs) its not even funny. Sometimes I paint captchas on my face so he can't tell its me and then I beat the fuck out of him. I think it's funny.
We realize we all have next period free so we decide to skip class. On the way to our favorite pizza joint we notice a news bulletin being projected onto the sky. Greg (Eternal God-CEO, President, Emperor-Lord, and Judge of the Northern Hemisphere, as well as founder of tech startup Rooblop) is announcing that we're going to nuke Venus, just in case there are aliens there.
We turn around from the news just in time to realize that M.I.K.E.'s pathfinding has malfunctioned and led him into the middle of the street. He's hit by a car and immediately torn to shreds (all cars have sawblades mounted to the front to discourage jaywalking.) The driver doesn't even bat an eye (he's also an AI, his own pathfinding malfunctions a second later and he makes a sharp left turn into a crowded mall.) I save the footage and post it to the cloud. It gains 2 billion views over the next thirty seconds. Ten seconds after that, a rights organization cancels me for glorifying AI murder. On the horizon, I see a drone strike get called in on my Dystopian Megaschool, and I'm glad I skipped class.
We stop at the Dystopian Mega Pizza Shop on the way home. Their pepperoni is guaranteed to only be 90% liquefied high schoolers, and the cookies they sell even have real Khreim! (not to be confused with Cream, Creme, Kreem, Chreamm, or Kchreeighm.) Unfortunately, the entire restaurant is sold out, as the cadre of CopDrones in the corner bought everything edible in the building to fuel their starved appetites. Klazzz throws a disparaging insult in their direction, and in response they shoot Xyrone 87 times in the chest.
I arrive home. My mom is home on her 30 minute break. She's made meatloaf, made with Tomaytoh Soss(tm,) Garlic, Liquid Teenagers, and a whole lot of love. I give her a big hug. She says she has to run, but there's a special birthday treat in the freezer. I open it up to find a whole pint of ice cream waiting for me. My favorite flavor: mint chip.
And you'll never guess what it's made of.
That's right: Bugs.

saw a post abt trans fem hrt in china earlier, and its got me interested in the differences in hrt around the world. like in australia, doctors will not prescribe injected estradiol, when thats one of the most common forms in other countries.
long post so heres yr break, cw for discussion of minor surgery
here mostly you start on pills (either zumenon, progynova, or, rarely, if theres shortages, estrofem), maybe go to patches or gel. theres an option in some places for something a bit different tho. used to be only one endocrinologist did this, in sydney, but about 5 years ago it became much more widespread.
you have to order them from one of a handful of compounding pharmacies, but, they take 100 or 200mg of estradiol, and some binding agents, and compress it into a fused, crystalline pellet.

under local anaesthetic they make a small incision over some fatty tissue like your hips, or butt, insert a tool to the depth and location (about an inch sideways from the incision) and then place the pellets inside. it takes like 20 minutes, most of which is waiting for the local anaesthetic to infiltrate tissue.
i find it a bit stressful, but, i have my own problems.
anyway once thats done they put steri-strips and a waterproof dressing on it, it heals over a week or two, and begins to dissolve.
it lasts about 8 to 12 months, and for most of that time will maintain steady levels of estrogen, tailing off towards the end. its often used while aiming for quite high levels of estrogen (900 to 1200 pmol/L), and at those levels it will suppress T production on its own. you can aim for lower levels as well, its just associated with that because of the guy who used to be the only one doing it. costs like 350aud including the surgery and the implants, which is cheaper than the cost of enough progynova to maintain those levels for me.
havent rlly heard abt anyone outside aus doing these.
anyway im healing up from getting like 400mg of estradiol shoved into my hip last week, and then hitting the implant site on a doorknob so hard it is still bruised, the following night. you cannot tell where the pellets are, also
anyway tell me abt different elements of hrt in your country! curious how different it gets

Kinktober Day 8
Prompt: Breeding Pairing: Hongjoong x fem!reader WC: 900 Summary: PWOP. It is what it says on the label This is a work of fiction, it does not represent Hongjoong or any Ateez member. On top of this it is an 18+ work. For my comfort and boundaries please if you are under age do not interact with this. TW/CW Under the cut!
TW/CW: Unprotected, pregnancy talk, called “honey” and “little cumslut”, Hongjoong is needy, so is reader.
Once he started he couldn’t stop, It took one time cumming as deeply as possible in your hole to convince him this was always the way to do it. It became an obsession, a project. Sex turning from one and done into a multi stage marathon. No longer was he worried about cumming early, in fact that way he could just fill you more. Pushing his own seed deeper into your womb as he fucks you again. He’d all but stopped masturbating, even during long tours, saving up his release for when you met again.
Chest pressed into the mattress, hips held high about for him to pound into he jolts and jitters as his own seed spills around him and onto your legs. The first round of the night, a big one. They’ll only get smaller, more painful even as he continues. Because he will continue. “I think it’s gonna take this time,” starry eyed you mutter. The possibility of it actually happening was nearly zero thanks to your implant. Still you say it with conviction because it pleases him. “Everyone will know you’re mine then. No more hiding. I’ll dress you in the finest clothes and show off my work to the world.” Another spurt of cum forces it way into you as he thinks about your stomach, swollen with child. His child. Tits fat with milk. Taking you to art galleries and displaying you alongside his other accomplishments. He pulls the two of you to the side, leaving his cock soaking in the mixture of fluids, rehardening slowly before ever going fully soft. His arm snakes over you, cupping your breast, rocking ever so slightly to bury himself again without disturbing you. His thumb absentmindedly plays with your hardened nipple, dragging it down and letting it spring back to place. “Sleepy.” Your scoot back to his chest, nose pressing into your hair. “I like.” “I know you do, honey. I know you like feeling full. I promise I’ll keep you nice and full.” His lips press against your hair, inhaling the scent of skin and shampoo. “Gonna fuck you all night if I have to.” You moan, his base needy nature on full display. When he holds you like this it’s impossible to feel unloved, unwanted, alone. When he’s rutting into you, promising the moon, you feel safe. It’s easy to fall in and out of blissful sleep, eyelids heavy with pleasure. The persistent targeted drag against your gspot serves to keep you vaguely present as fireworks spark and fizzle.
Hongjoong can feel your body slacken and tense in his arms as you drift between conscious states. “I should let you go to sleep,” he almost sounds repentant. Truly he feels a little guilty, knowing how hard he’d pounded into you previously. A good climax was better than any melatonin or cbd gummy to get you into a hazy dreamlike headspace. “Don’t let me, wanna cum again,” you whine. You’re always whinier when you are tired, after your first round. Hongjoong knows this. He knows round two is not the time for hair pulling, snarling, fuck-you-dumb, crass kind of sex. Even though you both like it. Round two is for exactly this; hazy, needy, sloppy, whiny sex. “Oh Honey,” he coos, “need more before bed? My little cumslut needs more?” You toss your top leg forward onto the mattress, opening yourself up for easier access which he eagerly takes. Abandoning your breast in favor of carefully rubbing circles around your clit, Hongjoong groans. He can feel your walls tightening with your stomach, anticipating the next wave. “More, more,” you beg and plead, “want more.” “Even when you’re all fucked out your walls are milking me dry,” Hongjoong sounds deliriously happy. Your cunt is sloppy with release, slick slap of his balls against your skin is proof enough of his handiwork. “Wet little pussy, working me so well. So good for me.” He tugs at you, rolling with you on top of him, using the full force of his thighs to fuck up into you, deeper and deeper. “I’ll give you as much as you can take.” Through the haze of your orgasm you can feel the twitch of his dick, lodged as deep as he can go. Spurts of release force remnants of round one from you, a white ring forming at the base of his cock. “Thank you,” you babble. Body shaking, possessed by pleasure. His pleasure. He enjoys every second of it, holding you tight as though he could absorb it. You can barely breathe, eyes rolling back. Your walls squeezing another dry, painful orgasm from him. The pain completes him, penance for using you, for wanting to own you like he does. You aren’t his but maybe just maybe if his cock is the only thing your cunt craves, you could be his. Exhausted, both of you flinch and jitter, muscles activating randomly as your overstimulated nerves cool down. His member stays lodged inside, a poor stopper for your leaking hole. Another sign your night is not yet over. “Is this all me,” Hongjoong asks, running a finger along the tight muscle of your pussy. “Going to have me dripping in your panties for weeks.” He can already feel the faint twitches of his rehardening. Lacing his fingers between yours you pull him close despite the slick and sweat. “Again, just in case,” you giggle. “Just to be sure.” “Of course honey, to be sure.”
Hated that I kind of had to be short and sweet with this but if all my kinktober fics are 2k+ words...well. TBH this particular kink is one of my favorites to write so trust it will be in others as well.

since I’m still too nervous to write Shigaraki, I decided to post a bit from my au in which Kurogiri is turned back into Oboro. I took a lot of liberties with how exactly Kurogiri works for this, but that’s a problem for when I have to write a whole fic about it someday
warnings: grieving a child
wordcount: about 900
a/n: I was really busy today and had to finish this in a rush before tomura’s birthday is over so this is the raw, unedited first draft. expect a lot of bullshit and weird phrasing.
Oboro tried to grab his phone on the nightstand next to him, the repetitive ringing of his alarm echoing through the room. He held it up to his face when he found it and squinted at the screen.
Friday, April 4th, 8am.
The family picture of Shota, Hizashi and their kids stared back at him. April 4th, a day like any other. He rolled out of bed and threw on some clothes, just jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. No waistcoat to button, no necktie to tie.
When he left the guest room–his room–he was met with complete silence. Everyone had already left for work or school at this time of the day.
On his way to the kitchen he had to pass through the living room and glanced at the console on the TV stand. It was collecting dust since Hitoshi had to move into the dorms his first year at UA. No one else in the house seemed to have any interest in video games.
The kitchen was a bit of a mess, like every morning, because everyone had to leave in a rush. Eri’s half eaten bread with jam was still on the kitchen table, as was Shota’s coffee mug.
Oboro sighed as he cleaned it all up. He tried not to think of any other April 4th, where he wasn’t the last but the first one up, waiting in a sparsely decorated kitchen, candles lit.
Just as his therapist always told him, he pushed those memories away. That hadn’t been him. His last April 4th had been a normal school day over 15 years ago. Still, standing here, in the empty kitchen, it didn’t feel like it.
Even though his “programming” had long been undone, he could almost sense the head of blue-grey hair dragging himself out of his bedroom with lazy steps and rolling his eyes when spoken to.
Swallowing down a queasy feeling, Oboro poured himself a cup of coffee and tried to think of anything else. He shouldn’t remember all this, at least that’s what everyone tells him. But for some reason, he did.
Every single April 4th, every poor attempt at making a cake, the way the enthusiasm about blowing out candles lessened every year, every new video game wrapped up in old newspapers because buying gift wrap for a single present wasn’t worth it.
And it wasn’t solely the memories. How often did he look in the mirror and expected a cloud of mist to look back? How often had he not reacted to his own name? How much of him was still Kurogiri?
And maybe, sometimes, when Eri asked him for help, he looked at her nervous demeanor and red eyes and mistook her high-pitched voice for a different, scratchier one, calling out his name in the same tone.
His coffee had gone cold and he realised he’d just been staring at the wall. With a sigh, he dumped it in the sink and made his way to the bathroom.
When he had made the decision to bake a cake, he didn’t know. But now, there was flour and a bit of egg white on his shirt where the apron wasn’t covering it and the kitchen was a mess again. More stuff to clean up. Additionally, the smell of the cake baking in the oven was giving him a headache.
He wondered what had made him do all this, since he wasn’t much of a sweet tooth and no one else was here to eat it anyway.
Shoving the thought aside, he started doing the dishes, put each thing back into its place and swiped the counters until they were almost shining.
Despite his best efforts to distract himself, he kept thinking.
He kept remembering.
It was like he was merely eighteen or nineteen again, still getting used to the new restrictions implanted in his mind and tasked to take care of a child who thought it was exempt from birthdays. And then, on that first April 4th, after preparing the usual low-nutrient, tasteless breakfast, he used the little control he had and decided to bake a simple chocolate cake.
Tears sprang to his eyes now and he rushed to wipe them away. That hadn’t been him, for fuck’s sake.
But how could he ever forget the look of pure childish glee he got in return? Such a rare expression, reserved for only a select few moments.
The timer he set earlier went off and interrupted his thoughts. Disoriented, he took the cake out of the oven, almost missing the sound of the door being opened. After a bit of rustling, light steps made their way to the kitchen.
He turned around and stared directly into Tomura’s red eyes looking up at him.
“Mr. Oboro?” he asked, his voice hesitant and small. He’d been so small. Just a little kid. “Mr. Oboro, why are you crying?” A tiny hand reached out for him and he knelt down to accept the hug.
The tears started falling now, streaking his cheeks. It hit him then that he never gave Tomura a hug, not even once, and now he’d never have the chance to.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Oboro?” Eri asked again. He pulled away to look at her and smiled.
“Nothing, kid. Sometimes, adults just get a bit sad.” He ruffled her hair. “What would you say about eating cake for lunch today? I won’t tell Shota, I promise.”
She brightened up immediately. Children were truly easy to distract. He started grinning, too, ignoring the pain lingering in his chest and took her hand. “It has to cool off for a bit, but we could play a game while we wait?”

The Fai Mhoir are the oldest group of people to occupy the Avinn Isles, preceding all other human settlements there. Calling themselves the Great Fey, or the Fey Giants, their strong Aethereal blood contributed to their striking divergence in appearance from their mainland human relatives, as well as their unique lifestyle and affinity for magical dhraiidcraft.
A Fai Mhoir caretaker and child. With lifespans averaging 800-900 years, Fai Mhoir births are a rare occurrence, and the resource-intensive task of rearing a child falls across the entirety of the extended family clan. Unlike adults, who are mostly herbivorous and take only twelve meals a year, growing children are fully carnivorous and need regular daily meals, and only transition to omnivory after they begin losing their sharp specialized childhood teeth. While adults are not necessarily averse to some meat in their meals as an ingredient or a broth base, full portions are seen as a childish indulgence, or a cause for concern as a possible symptom of stunted development or other health problems.
The Avinn Isles, comprised of northern island Avinney and southern island Eillring, located in the southern hemisphere of Thaeris. Fai Mhoir populations once spanned both islands, but today they are mostly limited to small enclaves in Eillring where their language is still spoken.
Height comparison between an average 8ft Fai Mhoir and a 6ft mainlander human.
A view of the extensive subcutaneous root system of a Fai Mhoir who has undergone the Seedsowing process to become a dhraiid. The seed of the dhraiidara tree is implanted at the back of the neck near the base of the skull, where it grows into a branching network of roots just beneath the skin. These roots are essential to the herbalist traditions of dhraiidcraft, improving one's sensitivity to the nuances of herbal substances to enable very precise and delicate work, as well as producing potent exudates that can be harvested for use from small cuttings.
Saorain, a Fai Mhoir dhraiid. Historically notable for his work with tyl, a mineral formed from the fossilization of Aethereal organisms with powerful magical properties. Also featured here with companion Eadric.

i’m feeling pretty sad this morning, tbh. my doctor and i had both originally agreed upon 650cc-700cc of silicone at my first pre-op. i was so excited and i knew that was going to be so big on my frame! plus this is my first set of implants, so i’d be able to go even bigger next time (maybe even 900-1000cc omg).
well, upon taking measurements of my chest, the doctor noted that i don’t have a lot of room. he said there was no way to get 650-700ccs into my chest without complications down the line. he didn’t give me much of a choice, he simply told me we were going to do 450-500cc…. i didn’t stand up for myself either, i just went along with it. i feel like i’m letting my daddy down. i feel like an idiot, and not in a cute and fun way. in a real life idiot way.
he said that in a year or two i can always go bigger, but again. i feel like i’m letting myself and my daddy down. i’m afraid my implants won’t match the bimbo goals i had for myself. i was fine yesterday, but today, i’m feeling absolutely heartbroken.
it’s too close to my surgery day for me to cancel and find a new doctor. i’m going to be stuck living with tits that don’t make daddy as happy as they could’ve for a year or two… should i call my surgeon’s office and reiterate that i want to go bigger? i literally do not know what to do.

In colllege we had an assignment
to write about anything controversial. Of course I asked if I could write about dancing, and my professor said yes. That was so long ago, I searched in my email for the long lost document. I found it, along with an email from 2017 to a pole studio because I would start dancing the next Sunday. I really never knew my anniversary date. 7 years was so long ago. But what are the odds today I find it, and that day is today.
7 years ago I walked into the club with 6" Juliet Pleasers I bought on Amazon for $32. I was the only girl there. The night was a whirlwind as I was swept from dance to dance, table to table. I didn't know what I was doing, and no one was there to help me. My dance partner I applied with was starting a week later. I left with $900. I will never forget sitting in my apartment living room at 3a. Dumping my tote bag out and laughing so hard. A dream was started that day. S says he always remembers that the next day I took him to Chickfila, and paid. Something I never ever did. We weren't dating yet, and wouldnt for another month and a half. But I started as a single woman. 20 years old, being served real alcohol, and not knowing the meaning of a boundary. A baby with a garter from the housemom she never charged me for. A bra and panty set that barely matched. A silk robe I treated myself with years ago. No false eyelashes. No hustle.
My dance partner who made friends with girls and staff said they talked about me being the top earner. I didn't even know that was a position one could hold, especially not me. A customer would pay for my implants and jewelry from Tiffany. A customer told me my real name. A customer offered me a job and when I emailed the hiring manager, I was laughed at. A customer gave sage wisdom I still use today. Customers have thrown money as I'm walking to the stage. There have been low lows and high highs. But it remains my favorite thing in the world.
How lucky am I to spend every weekend like this.

Navigating Fertility: Innovative Treatments Explored
Understanding Fertility Challenges
For many women, the journey to motherhood is fraught with challenges, particularly when hormonal deficiencies hinder natural conception. Low levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) can prevent the ovaries from producing viable eggs, leading to infertility. These deficiencies, often identified through blood tests and clinical evaluations, require specialized interventions to stimulate ovulation and support pregnancy. The emotional and physical toll of infertility can be overwhelming, but advancements in medical science offer hope through targeted therapies designed to address these hormonal imbalances. By mimicking the body’s natural processes, these treatments aim to restore reproductive function and increase the chances of a successful pregnancy.
Stimulating Ovulation with Precision
One innovative approach involves a pre-filled pen that delivers a precise combination of recombinant FSH and LH in a 2:1 ratio. This solution, available in various strengths, including a high-dose option like Pergoveris 900, is administered subcutaneously to stimulate follicular development in women with severe FSH and LH deficiencies. The treatment is tailored to each patient’s response, with ultrasound scans and blood estrogen levels monitored to ensure optimal follicle growth. Typically administered once daily, the therapy continues until a mature follicle is detected, which may take up to five weeks. The first injection is performed under medical supervision, but patients can self-administer subsequent doses after proper training. This flexibility empowers women to manage their treatment at home, reducing the need for frequent clinic visits while maintaining efficacy. The combination of FSH and LH ensures that follicles develop and release eggs, a critical step toward achieving pregnancy, often followed by an injection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) to trigger ovulation.
Supporting Pregnancy Through Hormonal Balance
Once ovulation is achieved, maintaining a pregnancy requires a supportive uterine environment, which depends on adequate progesterone levels. Progesterone prepares the uterine lining, or endometrium, for embryo implantation and prevents premature shedding. A vaginal gel containing 8% progesterone, such as Emprogest Gel, is often prescribed to supplement or replace low progesterone levels during the luteal phase or early pregnancy. Applied daily or twice daily using a disposable applicator, this gel delivers progesterone directly to the reproductive tract, minimizing systemic side effects compared to oral or injectable alternatives. The gel supports endometrial transformation, creating a nurturing environment for the embryo. For women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), this therapy is critical to sustaining pregnancy until the placenta produces sufficient progesterone, typically around 10 to 12 weeks of gestation. The ease of application and localized delivery make it a preferred choice for many patients, offering a balance of convenience and effectiveness.
Managing Treatment and Expectations
Fertility treatments demand careful oversight to optimize outcomes and minimize risks. For ovulation stimulation, dosages are adjusted based on individual responses, with incremental increases spaced over weeks to prevent overstimulation. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), a potential complication, is monitored closely, as it can lead to enlarged ovaries and fluid accumulation. Patients are advised to report symptoms like abdominal pain or nausea immediately. Similarly, progesterone therapy requires adherence to prescribed schedules to ensure consistent hormonal support. Side effects, such as vaginal discharge or mild irritation, are generally temporary but should be discussed with a healthcare provider if persistent. Both treatments involve a learning curve, with patients often needing initial guidance to master self-administration. Healthcare providers play a pivotal role in educating patients, offering resources like instructional videos and written guides to build confidence. Open communication with medical teams helps address concerns, set realistic expectations, and tailor protocols to individual needs.
Emotional and Practical Considerations
The path to conception is as much an emotional journey as it is a medical one. The hope and uncertainty of fertility treatments can evoke a range of feelings, from optimism to frustration. Support systems, whether through counseling, support groups, or loved ones, are invaluable in navigating this process. Practically, treatments require commitment to regular monitoring and adherence to complex regimens. Financial considerations also arise, as fertility therapies can be costly, though some regions offer insurance coverage or subsidies. Patients are encouraged to explore available resources and plan accordingly. The empowerment that comes from understanding and managing one’s treatment can foster resilience, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth. By combining cutting-edge medical interventions with emotional support, women can approach their fertility journey with informed confidence.
Looking Toward the Future
Advancements in reproductive medicine continue to evolve, offering new possibilities for those facing infertility. Research into personalized treatment protocols and novel delivery systems promises to enhance efficacy and patient comfort. The integration of technology, such as wearable devices for monitoring hormonal levels, may further streamline care. For now, therapies like those described provide a robust foundation for addressing hormonal deficiencies, enabling countless women to realize their dreams of parenthood. The synergy of ovulation stimulation and progesterone support underscores the importance of a holistic approach, addressing both egg production and pregnancy maintenance. As science progresses, the prospects for overcoming infertility grow brighter, offering hope to those embarking on this deeply personal journey.

Back to being tired I go. I'm trying to convince myself that while I would just be alive and not living, it really is okay to live my life tired, because tired is better than dead. Right?
Anyway, the new mouth tape does provide better coverage and is perhaps a little more comfortable, but the same thing keeps happening—if air doesn't actually escape, it fills my mouth and I wake up to my cheeks expanding like I'm trying to blow up a balloon in my sleep. Initially, I had a spark of hope because the pressure setting starts off at 4, and it seemed okay. Once it gets up to 11, though, I start having issues. We talked about lowering the pressure, but I might have to make it too low to stop this from happening—and besides, if it’s going up to 11, then that’s obviously what I need to keep my airways open. I still say there’s no fixing this and that there’s some kind of curse on my sleep, and it’s going to get around anything I try.
So knowing that I’m unlikely to ever be able to get a mouthguard—since there aren’t many sleep dentists and they usually don’t accept my insurance plan—and I’m even less likely to have the Inspire implanted, I might as well cut my losses where they’re at. In other words, I can start off the first three or four hours with the mask, and then I’ll have to take it off when leaks become an issue. I think that should be enough, not to restore my energy, but to at least keep me safe. I just can’t sleep with the thing full-time, otherwise my fatigue is just as bad, if not worse. There’s no getting around it, though, so I need to finally just accept it for what it is.
I woke up with a headache today too, but I think that’s likely more on allergies than sleep apnea. My throat is a bit sore too, so I think I’m going to have to raise the humidity again. It should be okay since I can’t sleep with it more than a few hours anyway. I just remembered that a sore throat and headaches can be symptoms of chronic fatigue. God, I hope not! Days like yesterday give me hope that I don’t have CF. I’m never going to be able to rule that in or out if I can’t sleep with the CPAP full time.
Tom is going to get a basic lens even though he’d love the deluxe $900 lens. They even have a lens for over 3 grand that allows you to see even with your eyes closed! I don’t think I’d like that when I was sleeping. I’m hoping I’ll never have to have cataracts removed, since, unlike him, I grew up in the Northeast rather than the Southwest, and in my case, it would do little to nothing to improve my vision.
Kathy and her husband are still being harassed by the bitch next to them. I think she made a mistake in going against her agreement with the PD by replying to her texts. Even more so to delete them. I know the phone company could pull it up, but she should keep all the evidence she can. She said she told the bitch off and blocked her. I would completely ignore her without blocking her. I’d want to leave the opportunity for the bitch to dig her own hole by saying the wrong things in a word-sensitive country. Especially if I were a minority with children.
Since I don’t remember if we ever discussed my own nightmare with shitty neighbors back around 2010ish when we first met online, I left her some audios telling her about it.
Decided to spoil myself and do something fun for once. Every now and then we need a break from “behaving.” So even though I don’t need them, I took advantage of a great deal I found on Amazon—10 coloring books for $18. That’s less than $2 a book! I shared the link with Kathy. She may be interested. The quality of the books may not be the greatest, and they may not have as many designs to color, but I will definitely have a good variety: flowers, animals, mandalas, quotes, people, and places.

And back to having good energy I go. I swear my energy levels have become totally bipolar. So that means I'll be tired tomorrow. Hopefully not as anxious and hopefully with a lower HR, though. It's been 19 days since I last had to skip a dose, and I'd say it's definitely ramped up. I'm not cold anymore, I'm more hot flashy, and my HR has been between 95 and 110. I'm also starting to feel that adrenaline kick in the center of my chest. I'll give it one more day to see if something else is going on, even though I doubt it, and then I'll skip as many times as it takes to bring it down. I'll just try not to overdo it this time.
Definitely going to have to figure out how to have better timing before I go back to the lab at the end of the year. I just hope I won't have to go back until then! I don't think my absolute lymphocytes are high enough to warrant any sooner testing, which would be nice because I really don't want to have the stress of appointments during storm season. Other than an eye exam, I shouldn't have anything until September when I return to the dentist.
I misunderstood Becky. She said she uses the nasal pillows, which I thought were the ones with prongs you insert into your nose like what I have, but she's actually using the cradle, which she calls either a cushion or a pillow. She said she tried the one I'm using for 6 months and didn't like it. The only thing I don't get is if she had leaks with the pillow, why isn't she having them with the cradle? I verified with AI, and if you have problems with one, you'll likely have problems with the other.
As much as I wish the pillows would work out, they're horrible, and not just because of air leaking out of my mouth. I didn't realize they had such a short life. After just a few weeks, they lose their shape and consistency and start leaking. I have to struggle to seat them properly, otherwise I get air leaking up into my eyes like I did with a cradle. First one side started giving me shit and now the other side is a problem. So I switched to the small pillow that I have, and I'm pretty sure I can make that work until I get something better.
In a couple of weeks, we're likely going to get a full-face mask with liners. I hate to have something that intrusive, and I hate the DreamWear harness, but if it's going to give me a good seal, then so be it. At that point, I may start using the CPAP pillow, which I don't really like that much. It's a bit high and firm, but as Tom said, pillows sometimes need to be broken in like new shoes.
My sleep was a little more fragmented despite having more energy today, not just because of leaks, but I also had a really sad dream about Tinkerbella. For some reason, we were forced to rehome her, although nothing could get us to give her up in real life. She was only a year old in the dream. We gave her to some woman we didn't know, and after she was gone, I was crying and depressed and worried for Tink. I wondered if she was scared to suddenly be in the hands of a stranger and worried she wouldn't be treated well. That would definitely be a terrible thing for a rat, or any other animal of intelligence that is aware of what's going on around them.
Other breeds of rodents are so stupid and antisocial and pretty much live in their own worlds, oblivious to what's going on around them, even the ones that tolerate being handled and patted. Therefore, they wouldn't really have the mentality to realize what was going on as long as they were getting fed.
Then I had a weird dream that I was living with some woman who might have been my mother. One evening, she took me over to her friend's house, and she decided to leave me there. I wasn't happy about it, but I tried to just go with it and offered to show the woman a book of sketches I did. But a split second later, I was looking at her closed bedroom door and knew she had gone to bed. I entered the guest room, wishing I had the CPAP and hoping the bed wouldn't be too uncomfortable or that I’d have trouble sleeping.
In my last entry, I was talking about how people don't change, and while I like Kathy and I'm glad we reconnected, she's a classic reminder of that. Every day she posts tons of bitchy, self-defensive, and even somewhat aggressive-sounding memes. While some of them make sense and I agree with them, I can see that her vengeful side still lives on. Let's just say that if Ask still existed and I could still allow anonymous questions there, and she got pissed at me, I wouldn't put it past her to troll me there with the help of her friends and family just like she did 15 years ago.
I see a lot of my sister and nieces in her, with the only difference being that Kathy is actually fairly smart and can write. I don't know if there's been any more contact between her and her neighbor, but every day she's been posting Karen memes in regards to the neighbor. I'm not worried about it if I ever pissed her off because it's easier to block people these days as opposed to 15 years ago. She's a reminder, however, of why it's important not to mix socials or to at least be very careful who you do share what with.
I'm usually pretty good at getting a sense of who may go ballistic on me if they either dumped me or I dump them, but every now and then, even I get caught off guard. The only thing that may be a problem these days is the fact that people can keep creating new accounts to come at you from if you allow comments/contact. People can also involve your connections just like Molly did to both of us once upon a time. I have a small group there, though, that I’m connected to and that would gladly have my back. So yeah, things are different in a better way, but it’s still wise to be cautious.
The only other thing that annoys me a little with Kathy is that I see that same one-sided pattern I see in so many people. She sent me many long messages about the neighbor, and I replied to every single one. Then I sent her a handful of audios telling her about my own nightmare neighbor from years ago, and while she did “heart” one of them, I got absolute silence in return. This isn't the first time either. I've been back in touch with her enough to see that she only responds if I ask her a question or if it's something she can relate to. She also doesn't usually take the initiative to ask about me.
Usually, if a friend is having a hard time, I'll check in with them and see how they're getting by. If she messaged me saying she had to have a tooth pulled, I would tell her good luck, and then I would ask how it went when it was done. If I said that, I likely wouldn't get any kind of a reply, let alone a follow-up. Not everyone is like this, but it seems that the vast majority of people are. If it isn't about them or anything they can relate to or benefit from, they're not interested.

Happy 31st anniversary to us! My schedule is in a place where it makes it hard to do much, and we don't have a lot of extra money, so we decided to splurge on Burger King. Because we seldom do it, it makes it all the more special, even if our bodies don't agree with it nearly as much as 30 years ago. As older people, we can't quite eat as much, especially him since he's 8 years older. We were looking at an ad for a triple burger while we were waiting for food, and I commented on the fact that neither of us could eat that much now. He said he could have 30 years ago. True, and I could have come close too during perimenopause or the day before periods, lol.
I love that every day I can think of something to say in my journal, even if it's mostly the same old mundane things. I'm glad I'm not like I've gotten to be with my creative writing when it comes to my journal.
My coloring book bundle arrived today, and while it makes for a fun variety, it wasn't quite what I expected. I thought every book would have a different theme, but as you can see, I got four mandalas, four animals, and two with patterns that are mostly floral. Also, the pages are perforated, and they're quite thin. Because some of the images are printed back to back, if you use markers, they'll bleed through. I love how some of the illustrations have colored backgrounds. I was a little surprised that some are partially colored, but I'm okay with that since it wasn’t a lot.
Now, for my surprising news: I've actually had four days of energy in a week! Usually, I'm lucky if I get that in an entire month. I asked Tom if he thought it was mostly the CPAP or the levo ramping up in my system, and he thinks it's mostly the CPAP. I'm inclined to agree! I've had way worse numbers than I last got, and didn't always have such epic fatigue. The med is accumulating a bit much in my system, though, and I do have to skip tomorrow's dose. My heart wasn't too racy today, but it was beating hard, and I was warm and feeling wound up enough to take half a clonazepam. Plus, it can disrupt sleep.
Anyway, I switched to the spare nasal pillow and it sealed beautifully, just like when the first one was new. Amazingly, I had no leaks. But my sleep did get broken up, making it even more amazing that I had energy today, or now, yesterday. It took me over an hour to fall back asleep, but it was way too early to get up and would have put my appointment at risk, so I stayed in bed for a total of 8 hours like I try to do. Not taking any antihistamines before bed, shutting the devices down, and not sleeping with the phone in the same room does seem to be helping as well. Anyway, I only had a couple of leaks escape my mouth after I fell back asleep as I had peeled off the tape. This mask is still wrong for me, even if it's the most comfortable. Now I know that not only does it leak, but it doesn't last the 6 months most other masks last, and that would be pretty expensive, having to get a new one every month.
Another popular journal prompt seems to be: What do you consider worth forgiving? Well, even though I wouldn't take them back into my life or associate with them in any way, I can usually forgive the types of things that don't have a major impact on me. It's when people know damn well what they're doing and intend to inflict verbal, emotional, physical, or financial harm that I could never forgive, even if I wanted to. Even Andy’s forgivable, because technically there’s nothing to forgive in the first place. He and I simply have personalities that clash.

Dental Crowns 101: Everything You Need to Know Before Getting One
Oral health is an important part of your overall health, and when a tooth is cracked or decayed, a crown can enhance its function and appearance. If you’re looking for dental crowns in Modesto, this article is designed to walk you through everything you need to know — from what type of crowns you’ll have available to what the procedure, cost, and aftercare involves.
Let us begin your journey to a healthier, brighter smile.
What Is a Dental Crown?
A Dental Crown Modesto is a carefully made cap that is placed over a broken tooth to restore shape, strength, and appearance. Crowns are commonly applied in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and are ideally suited for:
Strengthening cracked or fractured teeth
Protecting a weakened tooth after root canal therapy
Serving as a cover for a large filling when little of the tooth remains
Enhancing the appearance of discolored or uneven teeth
Securing dental bridges or capping dental implants
Types of Dental Crowns
Choosing the perfect type of crown depends on tooth position, aesthetic considerations, price tag, and dentist recommendation. Here are the most common types:
1. Porcelain or Ceramic Crowns
Best for: Front teeth
Pros: Natural appearance, bonds with adjacent teeth
Cons: Less strong than metal
2. Metal Crowns (Alloy or Gold)
Best for: Molars and posterior teeth
Pros: Extremely durable, long-lasting
Disadvantages: Visible appearance
3. Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal (PFM)
Ideal for: Front or back teeth
Advantages: Metal’s strength with a natural appearance
Disadvantages: Can exhibit a dark line close to gums in the future
4. Zirconia Crowns
Ideal for: Front and back teeth
Advantages: Durable, looks great, biocompatible
Disadvantages: Slightly costly
If you are not sure which type to select, a dentist providing dental crowns in Modesto can assist in assessing your dental situation and suggesting the best option.
The Process for Receiving a Dental Crown: A Step-by-Step Guide Typically, patients will need to visit the dentist twice for a dental crown. Some dental offices, however, now offer same-day crowns using CAD/CAM technology.
Visit 1 — Tooth Preparation and Impressions:
Examination and X-Rays: Your dentist will examine the structure of the tooth and assess the condition of the root.
Shaping: The tooth will be filed down to create enough space for the crown.
Impressions: Impressions will be taken for custom-fitting.
Temporary Crown: Your dentist will place a temporary crown over your tooth, which will cover the prepared tooth while you wait for your permanent crown.
Visit 2 — Crown Placement
Remove temporary crown
Fitting Requirement: Determine fit of new crown based on bite and color.
Permanent Cementation: New crown is fastened using dental-grade cement.
How Much Do Dental Crowns Cost in Modesto?
Prices for dental crowns in Modesto will vary depending on several factors:
Type of Crown Average Cost (USD) Porcelain $800 — $1,500 Metal (Gold/Alloy) $900 — $2,500 PFM (Porcelain-Metal) $850 — $1,700 Zirconia $1,000 — $2,000
If insurance will cover your dental crown, this will reduce out-of-pocket costs, especially if the crown was required for a medical need rather than cosmetic.
For an accurate quote, talk to a reliable clinic that provides budget-friendly dental crowns in Modesto.
Caring for Your Dental Crown
Although crowns are durable and long-lasting, they must be cared for. Practice these maintenance measures to prolong the lifespan of your crown:
Brush twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Floss carefully around the crown.
Steer clear of chewing hard food such as ice or hard candy.
Avoid using your teeth to open up bottles or packaging.
Schedule regular dental cleanings and checkups.
With proper care, most crowns on teeth will last 10 to 15 years, and some will even last 20+ years.
