alright so for allan i really like how calm he is most of the time, he's pretty cool, for pim i just love him. for glep uhm..uhh yeah he's just a guy i like him cause he doesn't cause alot of trouble except for the whole voting thing, and for mr boss erm...uhm..i guess my favorite thing is the lil version of him allan gave me? yeah thats it👍

for valentine's day, here's an alternate version of a scene from my hurt/comfort/charpim-heavily-implied fic don't leave me! for context, the fic takes place after season 2 episode 6 and it follows the saucer they escaped in crashing and sinking into a lake, trapping pim and charlie. pim takes blame for them getting into this situation and charlie tries comforting him. what charlie says here, he says in his head in the actual fic, but in this alternate scene he says it out loud to pim, which causes the latter to do something he'd wanted to do for ages.

i like to think that it's not that often whenever someone tells pim they love him or that they care for him, due to his rough upbringing and the fact that he has very few close friends (and on top of that he'd just lost a friend of his during their trip to space...). sorry i just love pim and charlie so much

My headcannons for the smiling friends (+more charaters) sexualities + genders

Pim is a cisgender male who is pansexual. He kisses everybody, including Desmond, the bird, I think he kissed Charlie but I'm not sure, and that weird egg. I don't think he would care which gender he's kissing.

Charlie is a cisgender male who is bisexual. He's been with his current girlfriend and had sexual tension with Mip, so maybe he could be bi-curious? But he's probably more attracted to fem presenting people. (Sorry charpim shippers)

Alan is bigender and aroace. Even though it's implied he had intercourse/sexual/romantic relations with that girl in his bed, I still feel it may be appropriate to call her aroace since it seems like he has minimal attraction, sexual or romantic. Also, I've heard some people call her "she", but I've also heard "he" as well, and in the show. So I'm just going to assume bigender for now.

Glep is green and a straight ally. If he did have queer coworkers, I don't think he would care. I mean, he's literally a green thing 1000+ years old. He's old enough to know better.

Mr. Boss is a trans male and pansexual/queer. I have no idea how to explain it, it's just a feeling. A vibe.

Zoey is a cisgender woman and a straight ally. Again, just based on vibes.

Mip is a cisgender male and bisexual. He liked the princess (?) And had sexual tension with Charlie.

Dj spit is a cisgender male who is straight.

Grim is a cisgender male who is gay.

Gnarly is a transgender male who is gay.

Smormu is a cisgender male and a straight ally.

Jennifer is a cisgender female who is a straight ally.

Shrimp is a cisgender male who is possibly queer/straight ally.

Gwimbly is a cisgender male who is in a toxic yaoi relationship with the old videogame villan or with the boss of the videogame company.

🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 AW YEAH WE’RE GETTING KICKED OUTTA THE FANDOM WITH THIS OOOONE!!!!

For starters, my biggest gripe with Smiling Friends is how they underutilize so many characters with tons of potential for jokes and storylines, they even brought back Mr. Frog for S2 yet we’ll never see an episode with Charlie’s girlfriend Zoey (she was named that in the Spanish-speaking dub) joining the boys on their hijinks or more time exploring how dysfunctional Pim’s family is because with all the time spent making joke characters like Smormu (Who I REALLY wish was one of the main characters) or Jombo who never show up again. Grim and Gnarly really should have been their recurring rivals cooking up all sorts of different schemes to sabotage the Smiling Friends instead of Frowning Friends being their one appearance only to, spoiler alert, get killed off by the Renaissance Men. Especially frustrating is that the show loves calling back to earlier episodes and even foreshadowing future episodes so with a show with a slight continuity like this at least give us an episode where Pim and Jennifer became friends after he helped her find love and sequel to the Salty’s ep where it shows how the mascots are doing without Simon S. Salty as their boss….then again, with Mr. Frog snd Dj Spitz returning in S2, maybe there is hope we will see other characters again and hopefully with a bigger role.

Although I am a Charpim shipper I am not super territorial over the pairing because I don’t mind if the boys are shipped with different characters…as long as it isn’t James. It is rather obvious why I hate James x Charlie and why I get pissed whenever I see it on my dash, and I’m not opposed to seeing fanworks depicting them as exes while highlighting how toxic the relationship is, I do not trust a single soul who ships them unironically or think James’ treatment of Charlie is cute and funny, it’s fucking vile. Go touch some grass.
