My headcanon is if the Monster's soul is shattered, the body dusts, so too will any separated body parts that have either gone missing or kept for whatever reason. However said body parts will remain intact until the soul itself is shattered. It becomes the perfect way to alert the Monster's friends or family of their passing. 🙂 (For at least Fell AUs, it might be too morbid for Classic or Swap AUs.)

Was thinking about if Cyclonus went to a check up for his carrying stage after they find out late that something is up.
