Tagged a looong time ago by @druidx here--check theirs out! Here's some early Invisible Girl I worked on/rewrote today. Whew, the draft 2 business is trickier than I guessed!
“Say,” Antonio said, setting his glass down. “Can you eat oysters? They’d be alive—they wouldn’t disappear! Just think of it, you’re eating, and everyone can see an oyster slipping and sliding down your invisible throat and into your stomach.” He looked up to find Paris staring at him in horror. Velia’s expression was much the same, but of course, he couldn’t see it. “I thought it was interesting,” he said weakly. “When does a live oyster perish in the esophagus?” “No one normal would find that interesting,” Paris said, looking towards Velia for confirmation. Velia studied Antonio down on the rug. “No,” she agreed, even though she had no meter by which to measure.

#soda offers you a can#sage edited in post bc this thing doesn't have her for some reason?#addressing some hotter opinions ->#sonic does not speedrun. he would not enjoy the tedious task of resetting worlds to have a chance at performing the same actions over again#he does play but does not take it very seriously and dies a lot. he's there if he's wanted present and that's as much as he'll do#he doesn't dislike the game it's just not that interesting to him#shadow doesn't really get the appeal. that's all.#same with sonic in that he'll do it if the right people ask him to but he'll have less fun than sonic bc sonic knows how to play#general enjoyer tier has nuance within it. amy would go really hard on some aspects but doesn't get to the niche things#like redstone machinery and mob farms etc#silver likes the escapism of building little houses. sometimes he starts a world and lives through minecraft unfiction though#which kills the vibe and he won't touch the game for extended periods of time#elise and cream are the most casual in that the game's fun and they get into it but it's just cozy to them#maria would play minecraft if she was around for it and not dead. she'd be so normal about minecraft she'd be so normal about the end poem#minecraft could fix her but alas she's fucking dead#does not play minecraft crowd has feelings ranging from hatred of the game to it not being their thing#i'll leave it up to the observer to decide where each opinion lies#with the addition of some being physically unable to play minecraft. but you know

i have had such an urge to pamper a girl for a full day. like. planning an entire day just for her with activities i know she'd love starting with a special breakfast just for her. picking outfits for her to choose from, all highlighting my favorite parts of her body. showing her off in public while we go pick up toys or clothes or something she's been wanting for a while. constantly putting my hand on her hips or waist or looping my fingers with hers. the route planned perfectly with multiple stopping and resting points. sitting with her on benches, in cafes, wherever when we end up - holding her close and making sure she knows just how much i love her and how happy i am to be here with her. taking her home and helping her undress, get cozy and comfy. maybe even give her a bath. letting her relax while i grab anything she wants so she doesnt have to lift a finger. cooking her favorite dinner, feeding her her favorite desert, watching her favorite movie with her. just. all about her.

also just the fact that Aedus is rich rich. And the second he falls in love with someone, he's gonna pamper the hell out of them.
The fanciest dinners at the most extravagant places. Buying them a new car if theirs breaks down. Flying them out to any place they've ever wanted to visit, complete with multiple nights in the best hotel money can buy, and a personal chauffer. He'd pay off all their debts. He'd buy them a straight up house.
And he'd absolutely refuse any attempt to pay him back. Even if they literally just offered to buy him something cheap as a thank you... because he never wants them to think they "owe" him for any of it. He never wants them to feel the obligation of making it up to him somehow. Any attempt to repay him, in any way, will be gently turned down. Because he doesn't do it for that. This guy shows a lot of love through gift giving. He wants to spoil his partner wildly. He wants them to be as happy, and safe, and comfortable as he can possibly make them.

Watching the situation with EA doing a fuckton of updates in a like. 5 days because their latest pack broke TS4 in.. A HUGE VARIETY OF WAYS from player to player. Jesus christ man. and then some of you guys still wanna pay for new packs?? What??? I can't make anyone buy or not buy anything but... C'mon, put your money to better use! Half of that content should've been base-game anyway, but instead gets cut up and sold across multiple packs to milk money out of people,, and it clearly works because I'm seeing people nab packs during the sale even while the game is in an unplayable state for a lot of players.
It's so sad because I was kinda excited for the 10-year anniversary next month. But seeing the state it's in rn, how frustrated people are seeing their game break down and (god forbid) their saves get completely wiped, seeing the very convenient sale for packs go up right as the community sends in complaints that the game won't load properly or they can't use CAS or this and that etc etc,,,
I'm never paying for another pack again. I feel crap that I ever did in the first place. If it ain't 100% off, I'm not getting it.

i wish more than anything that people online actually got Vivienne bc currently i have to defend her far more than i would want to because so many people don't GET her and end up accusing her of being the wrong kind of annoying and so i have to defend her as if she doesn't remind me of one of my most frustrating to talk to cousins

She's like 40-75 and works in the federal government#she votes democrat but shes def on the more center leaning right side it's just that America is a two party system and she hates Republican#she's one of those people who thinks that policing isn't inherently bad it's just that there's a lot of bad apples#she emphasizes the importance of peaceful protest bc “violence just turns people against you in the long run”#and she does actually organize things#but like she's the only one in your extended family that remembers you use they/them

hot take (maybe??? idk how much of a "hot" take this is lmao):
out of the two of them: dave's good at cooking, but shawn's better at baking
#given my hc of his distant parents it makes sense that dave's learned how to cook as a necessity#(either from extended family or older siblings or watching his mum cook)#but baking isnt his forte; he isnt the best with things that leave him sticky and messy#plus he doesnt think it's all that helpful for him in the long run (you cant survive purely off sweets or baked goods)#dave does appreciate cooking though more than as a necessity. he likes experimenting with different foods#and few times he likes to explore various ethnic dishes#cooking isnt a hobby of his or anything but he doesn't mind it. he thinks its better than baking#shawn on the other hand is a pro baker. partially bc of his job as cake decorator he learned tips from his supervisor/boss#also his dad loves to bake#so does his uncle#but for the life of him he doesn't have the patience to make actual food#if he lives alone he'd be living off on instant soup/noodles or to-go heat-up packs etc#he just...doesnt know how to cook lmao he doesn't care much for it#for baking he likes paying attention to the details and the idea of creating smth different from various ingredients#but cooking just tests his limits lmao#td dave#td shawn#total drama#noahtally-famous#kit stuff#tdpi#total drama pahkitew island#dashawn#i guess?? but it can be looked at as individual characteristics as well not just a ship dynamic#after writing that dashawn oneshot for today's rarepair prompt i'm in a dashawn mood lmao

I've just realised that when my mother dies, I'll be the oldest person in our family (as in, the people who are related to me who I'm in contact with/ever see at all). that's.... weird
#my sister-in-law is a few years older than me but she's also only in her thirties#and obviously not related to me#my dad's dead. my uncle's dead. my only grandma who I was close to is dead. we're not in contact with anyone else anymore.#the only other person I'd even know how to find is my cousin#that feels really weird. I'm not an adult. I'm completely clueless. I have no idea what I'm doing ever.#and still my mother only thinks about how hard it is for *her* that everyone her age has died... sorry but you don't think it might be hard#for us too? more than one person can be affected by that but sure you're the only one who is.#and her own mother died when my mother was 50! she had contact with all her extended family until then and she chose not to after that! so#she's the one who caused that but still we need to feel sorry for her.#anyway#maybe she'll live to be super old. that'd be typical... but it doesn't seem likely#idk. it's not like it'll make a difference. she's never helped me with anything so it'll be one less thing to deal with...#maybe I'll finally feel free then#or maybe it's too late for that#personal
