Eddie filling his friends in on things about Steve that Steve isn’t even aware of like one time, they were in Gareth’s garage and he asked Steve to read out some lyrics out of Eddie’s notebook.

Eddie: Dude, don’t spring my awful handwriting on him like that. He’s already dyslexic.

Steve: I’m what??

Steve goes with the CC boys to Indianapolis to check out a new record shop. While they’re there, Jeff comes up to Steve with a slip of paper. He tells him that a girl over there thinks he’s cute and wants to give him her number.

Eddie, crumbling the paper up: He’s taken

Steve: I am?

Eddie: Yes, we’re dating

Steve: We are? Cool!

Steve:

Steve: Wait, is this a date?

They’re hanging out in the basement at Jeff’s and Grant is messing with the light switch, turning it off and on.

Eddie: Hey, knock it off before you triggers Steve’s epilepsy.

Steve: My what?

Eddie: Epil- I need you to tell me right now that you knew you were having seizures. You knew, right?

I never had the chance to experience the OG tower fics in its prime. So I will be participating in the Thunderbolts* tower fics and will start writing for them asap. I already have ideas and thoughts and prompts. (Sorry one kinda derailed my plans for today but I'll get back on track for those as well).

The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler’s complex and compelling relationship gets me through my fucking DAYS BRO. The fact that, canonically, Rose Tyler’s influence was so great that she LITERALLY haunts the narrative, even nearly 25 years later. She dispersed herself through time and space — splitting beings into atoms as a literally goddess — to be with her soul mate forever.

And can we just talk about how the Doctor’s love for Rose was SO powerful that he literally regenerated into the perfect partner for her? Like legitimately MADE FOR HER. His hands fit in her perfectly and she’s the keeper of his hearts. He loses Rose? His entire UNIVERSE crumbles. The second time? He literally goes insane and changes a fixed point in time based on the delusion that the laws of time are his and he can control anything he wants, regardless of how they branch into timelines.

My brain rot goes deep, bro. I could go on for HOURS.

If Jon ever died I think Damian would be able to heal a little and move on. Well he ever love another again? Most likely not and if he did he'd be constantly comparing them to Jon, it would never feel right or the same.

He refuses even at the thought of using the Lazarus Pit on Jon knowing it's effects. It'd be all the more painful.

I don't think he'd blame anybody either because he always knew that there was a possibility, a very small possibility but a possibility nonetheless. (Yes Jon is basically indestructible but his own dad died once before) It'd surprised him, shock him.

But he knows Jon would want him to move on, to be happy even if it's not with him. All Jon ever cares about is Damian's happiness.

So yeah I think Damian would move on and heal as much as he can from the loss.

Jon on the other hand would be absolutely destroyed if Damian ever died. He'd blame himself for not being fast enough, probably blame his own dad for not being able to save Damian either because "dad! You're superman! You save people all the time! Why couldn't you save him..." He'd completely shut down and isolate, he'd beg Damian's family to use the Lazarus Pit but they refuse knowing the effects, Jon goes so far as to seek Talia and Ra's himself but they also refuse. He contemplates fighting them for it but he can't cus he knows Damian would be mad at him if he did. Plus Damian's family is one of the few things he has that's tied to Damian. He can't hurt them, even if he so badly wants to.

He'd most likely lose his faith in humanity. He'd resent absolutely everyone. Does he still hero? He tries to in beginning, knows that Damian would also want him to move on, to not lose his faith in people, that his death was never on Jon's hands or anybody's but his own.

But Jon can't help it, he's angry all the time, dismissive, reckless, quick to lash out. Gets to the point were the people around him try to talk some sense into him, tell him that this is not what Damian would have wanted. But Jon doesn't listen nor does he care cus to him everyone let Damian die that day. Himself included.

He basically could become what batman feared superman would become. Out of control and unpredictable.

Steve probably could’ve handled it.

He wouldn’t have liked it and he’d bitch the whole time about the handcuffs, but annoyance did a lot to starve off panic. He could’ve been fine.

Let Eddie get his joke in and then disappear into the background. It’s not like he didn’t deserve to be the butt of a joke or two.

He could’ve done that but then Eddie touched his face.

He put his hand on his cheek and pressed his thumb against his chin, and Steve’s vision fizzled out into punch, punch, punch, questions and no answers, pliers and fingernails, needles and Robin. Fear.

All he could hear was his own ringing ears echoing around his skull like an empty house. It takes his a second to realize that someone is talking and another second to realize that it’s him. Words pressed together, breathing short, “I work at Scoops Ahoy, I work at Scoops Ahoy, I work-“

Awareness floods back like a tidal wave - all at once - and everybody is yelling. Telling Eddie to hurry up. Steve only connects the urgency to the handcuffs once they’re off and a hand is clasped over his wrist when the metal cut in.

He must’ve struggled. He struggled last time too.

Steve looks around, wide eyes on a lot of faces but not - “Where’s…?”

“At home,” Dustin said readily. “Robin is at home. And she is safe, and - and alive.”

Steve nods and then the numbness breaks, embarrassment floods him. This isn’t the first time Dustin has caught him in the middle of a panic attack but it’s the first time anyone else has and, yeah.

“I have to go,” He says standing up abruptly, shaking off Eddie’s hand. The cuts not so bad but the skin will probably bruise. “You can get a ride with-“

“I got him,” Eddie finally speaks. “Harrington, I’m-“

But Steve is gone and Dustin follows. Neither comes back.

When Eddie asks what the hell just happened, Mike gives him a bitch look and says, “Dude, he was in the mall fire.”

That answers nothing.

Cuddle pile!!! Once, Peri brought home a stray Furby. It brought the entire house into chaos as the Furby went feral on them. It took sacrificing Cosmo to it for the Furby to calm down.

It spat him out eventually, but the house was a wreck afterwords. Wanda refused to let Timmy or Peri keep it as a pet, thinking (rightly) that they're not ready for one. Cupid took the Furby off their hands afterwords.
