Welp, AO3 doesn't seem to let me leave comments at the moment so I'll leave this here: I love the new part of the "Kiss Already" it was so much fun 🤣🤣 Poor Alastor can't lay out his plan like he wants (can't blame Lucifer though, I'd totally do the same 😂) and who is *so* going to loose his shit when he realizes that it's more complicated than what he thought 🤣 I can't wait to read his reaction when he "gets the worst grade" of the class LMAO!! I am also curious to see how Lucifer will deal with it! He had a long married life, but I guess Alastor and Lilyth are very different sooo... Poor Charlie and Vaggie will have their hands full, and potentially an horrible headache on the way 😆

Hahaha Lucifer does not have the patience to wait out Alastor long-winded spiel about their plan. They're fake dating. That's all there is to it. He doesn't need a powerpoint and a quiz.

Alastor definitely doesn't get what all the fuss is about. He doesn't see this relationship as being very deep. He's okay with keeping up the ruse, but it's still superficial. He doesn't understand why they're making it so complicated when it doesn't have to be.

It's gonna be fun to explore. I'm excited for the next two chapters.

Good day for people in the fandom who think there is no merit in trying to understand the mindset of people who serve imperial or otherwise fascistic states, or grappling with the fact they are as rational and human as the rest of us, I see.

Insert standard commentary regarding how it is probably a bad sign if you want to reduce one side in a war down to a horde of irredeemable fanatics who cannot be met with anything less than total violence, and how this is especially dumb when talking about something spun off from fiction that explicitly and with intention does not do that.

I'll get back to you presently with the actual reasons Requiem for Vengeance falls down. It's definitely not the Milquetoast 'people on both sides' stuff, which is frankly just a given for Gundam and really not worth any effort to unpack at this point.

Shadow's No Good, Very Bad Day

Sentient Mystery Shack, who is really biased towards Stan, so when Ford tells Stan he has to give it back after the summer it’s on sight.

Ford keeps tripping over nothing, nothing is where it's supposed to be and somehow he keeps running into closets when he tries to go outside.

But the worst part, the WORST part is that Ford's lightbulb just won't. Work. No matter what he does it keeps flickering and exploding.

Ford is spiraling. 

There is no reason why it shoudln’t work. All his trial runs work perfectly. He’s already checked the Shacks wiring three times and relearned this dimensions science from the ground up. 

Nothing works.

The Rift? Bill? The impending apocalypse? Eating? Sleep? Who cares about that. 

WHY. WONT. THE. LIGHTBULB. WORK???

It doesn’t help that Stan keeps laughing at him.

“Then you do it!” Ford eventually snaps at Stan.

Stan shrugs and with a little song under his breath screws his own lightbulb in. It works perfectly.

Once Danny was an adult, he decided to join Ellie in her ‘permanent world tour’. It’s better than staying in Amity where the opinion of Phantom hasn’t gotten much better. Besides, the portal caused the veil to get weaker, allow ghost to wreak havoc where ever they want.

He’s met a lot new ghost cause of this too. Old as Mycenaean Greece to non humans who came to Earth and died there. Danny’s learnt so much from them that he’s basically a walking in Encyclopaedia.

So, Danny’s decided “fuck it.” and has it became a part-time history teacher. It’s fun! He knows the details by heart and is able to make it more fun than just droning on about the same old wars and whatever. He enjoys it, the kids enjoy it and the ghosts having their stories told!

Of course, this does cause some problems when people try to correct him. Danny’s argument? “I got them correct sources.”

And when anyone asks him how knows his sources are correct? “My source was there when it happened.”

Cue the dc world thinking that Danny’s just some immortal guy whose decided to use his immortality for good(TM)
