Kraneshaftwick, Etinilia
At Hari's apartment:
It's a rainy day in Etinilia, but it seems like a thunderstorm is coming soon. Makisig Hari and Lucas Aleksy are playing Wild Ones in Hari’s bedroom.
“Ha! I win!” Aleksy says excitedly.
“Heh, good game.” Makisig says. “What's your secret?” ze asks.
“I'll never tell you~” Lucas says teasingly.
Then, they both hear rain falling on the window.
“Huh?” Hari asks. “Seems like the rain is picking up.” he adds.
They get up, look outside and see that it started raining hard with strong winds.
“Yeah, I think it's best you stay here until the rain lowers, I don't want you to get sick.” they say.
“Oh.” Aleksy says as his cheeks turn red. “T-Thanks Hari.” he adds nervously.
Makisig gives him a warm smile, and Lucas blushes.
At that moment, lightning strikes loudly. Hari walks away from the window, while Aleksy covers his ears.
“Okay then, maybe you should stay for the night.” Makisig says.
They were happy to stay with Lucas, so that thunderstorm gave them a good reason to ask his friend to stay.
“A-Alright, this is f-fine, i-it's fine.” Aleksy says, slightly panicked.
Hari turns around and sees Lucas covering his ears.
“Lucas?” ze says, with a worried look on their face.
He doesn't answer, and just stays there, looking terrified as he sweats buckets. Tears fall down from his eyes as he covers his ears. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears, beating like a panicked drum to the rhythm of his fear.
Makisig looks at him, approaches the bed slowly, and sits in front of him.
“Hey, you're safe, I'm here.” ze says calmly.
Then, an even louder strike of lightning hits. More tears fall down from Aleksy’s face as he gasps for air, but each breath felt shallower than the last. His mind was running at a million miles a second, but he couldn't pinpoint a single thought.
Hari stays there, trying to think of what to do to calm his friend down. He had experienced panic attacks before, so he had an idea of what to do to help.
“Try to do what I'm doing.” Makisig starts calmly. “Breathe in,” ze says calmly as ze breathes in. “Breathe out.” ze adds as ze breathes out.
Aleksy started to breathe in and out, though his breath was still a little agitated. Lightning keeps striking, which makes it hard for him to fully calm down.
“Concentrate on your breathing, you can get through this.” Hari says calmly.
Lucas keeps breathing in and out sleep slowly, his breath slowly coming back to normal. He was slowly calming down, but the fear was still present.
“You're doing great.” Makisig says calmly.
Aleksy’s breath slowly becomes normal again, though he's still a bit agitated. He slowly raises his head and looks at his friend, though his vision is a little blurry.
“Can you name five things that you can see?” Hari asks calmly.
“I see…” Lucas starts with a shaky breath as the turns his head and grabs his chest, keeping his left hand in his ear. “I see the curtains.” he adds, trying to catch his breath.
“Anything else?” Hari asks calmly.
Aleksy looks around slowly as another lighting strikes.
“I see the window, the d-door, the lamp, and…” he starts. “and the n-nightstand.” he adds with a shaky breath.
Makisig gives a warm smile.
“Good, that's good.” Hari says calmly. “Can I hold your hand?” ze asks calmly.
“Yeah… yeah.” Lucas accepts in a shaky voice as he extends his left hand.
Makisig holds Aleksy's hand, and he squeezes it hard, almost hurting his friend's hand. Lightning keeps striking, but it doesn't seem to bother Lucas anymore.
“Is there anything else you need?” Hari asks calmly.
“Cold water, please.” Aleksy says in a breathy voice.
“Alright, I'll be right back.” Makisig says as they let go of their friend's hand.
Ze leaves the room with the door open, and goes looking for water. Lucas stays in the room, breathing in and out, trying to calm himself down.
“I'm fine, I'm safe, Hari's here, I'm okay.” Aleksy tells himself.
His vision goes back to normal. He lets go of his chest, grabs his phone and opens it.
“Four missed calls from Alessia,” he thinks. “Might as well call,” he thinks.
He calls her, and she immediately answers.
“Lucas, how have you been lately?” she asks in a calm tone.
“Not good, I had a panic attack just now.” Lucas says, trying to catch his breath. “But don't worry, Hari helped me get through it.” he adds.
Katarzyna sighs of relief.
“Are you better now?” Katarzyna asks.
“Yeah, a little, they're looking for water right now.” Aleksy says, still trying to catch his breath.
“At least ze cares.” Alessia says. “Are you intending to return to your apartment?” she asks.
“Don't know, I'll ask if I could stay the night.” Lucas says, finally catching his breath.
“Well, if they say you can, then you better text me once you go to sleep, do you understand? I want to know if you're safe.” Katarzyna says.
“Yeah, I will.” Aleksy says. “You should break character more often, I like the real you better.” he adds.
“I-I cannot comprehend what you are talking about.” Alessia says nervously. “And even if I did, I would be unable to find the answer.” she adds in a more confident tone.
Lucas sighs in disappointment.
“Well, goodnight Alessia.” he says.
“See you in the morning.” Katarzyna says.
She hangs up. Aleksy looks at the door, and sees Hari standing there. The thunderstorm continues, but it isn't as bad as before.
“Hey, I got you water.” Makisig says as he approaches the bed and sits down in front of his friend.
“Oh, come in then.” Lucas says in a low voice.
“Here.” Hari says as they give the glass of water to their friend. The latter holds the glass with his two hands. “Is there anything else you need?” they ask.
“No, I'm fine.” Aleksy says as he takes a sip of water.
“How are you feeling?” Makisig asks calmly.
“A little sweaty, chest hurts a bit, and light headed.” Lucas responds. “My heart felt like it was gonna explode,” he adds.
“But you're okay, right?” Hari asks.
“Yeah, I'm better now.” Aleksy says.
He drinks more water and puts the glass on the nightstand.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Makisig asks calmly.
“Huh?” Lucas says, confused.
“About the panic attack.” Hari mentions. “Do you want to talk about it?” they ask.
“Can I…” Aleksy starts nervously. “Can I talk to you about my trauma from the war in general?” he asks. “Despite not knowing you for long, I trust you enough to tell you.” he adds.
Makisig blushes slightly after what his friend said.
“Of course, and I'm glad you trust me.” he says reassuringly.
Lucas grabs Hari's hand for comfort, as the latter blushes slightly.
“I…” Aleksy starts. “I've always been scared of lightning because of how loud it is, but it wasn't that bad,” he adds. “My fear became worse when Flomecia was attacked.” he adds as his breath becomes more agitated and tears start falling from his eyes.
“You don't have to keep going if you don't feel comfortable.” Hari says.
“I'm f-fine, I-I can keep going.” Lucas stutters.
He takes a deep breath before he continues speaking.
“Everything was on fire, everyone threw themselves into the water, but it didn't help at all! The thunderstorm made things worse, people were burning up alive and screaming their lungs out.” he says teary eyed. “If I were to describe it, it was like seeing Hell.” he adds.
Tears keep falling from his eyes, but he wipes them off. Makisig holds his hand tighter in reassurance.
“Mama's corpse was found while we were in the Flomecia refuge. I screamed my lungs out, because I didn't want to believe she was gone. But it was the truth, and I hated it. The worst part was, Tata was also dead.” Aleksy says teary eyed. “Alessia and I went from having over thirty family members in Itafacia, to five.” he adds teary eyed.
He takes a deep breath before continuing as he wipes his tears off.
“My friends and I had the chance to go to the Fraglavia Refuge for War Survivors, and we took it. We were safe there, but we were terrified.” he says as he keeps wiping tears off his eyes. “Thanks to Rosa and other therapists, we were able to get better. We all have PTSD, but it's manageable now. As for my panic attacks, I've learned how to manage them, but for some reason, this time was worse than usual.” he adds.
He lets go of Hari’s hand, and hugs them tightly. The latter being surprised and blushing, but accepting the hug.
The thunderstorm isn't as bad as it was before. Nevertheless, lightning keeps striking.
“Dziękuję, Hari, thank you for helping me through it, and also listening to me.” Lucas says softly as tears keep falling from his face.
Makisig smiles softly as they blush.
“You're my friend Lucas, of course I would help you.” they say softly.
“Aleksy, you can call me Aleksy if you want.” Aleksy says in a soft voice. “I trust you enough for you to call me that.” he adds.
Hari blushes slightly.
“In that case, you can call me Makisig, or even Maki for short.” ze says in a soft voice. “Still, thank you for telling this. I know it must have been hard, but you were brave doing so.” ze adds.
Lucas blushes a little bit.
They both let go of the hug.
“Umm… Makisig…” Aleksy starts nervously. “Can I stay here for the night? I feel safer when I'm around you.” he adds.
Makisig blushes a bit harder this time.
“Oh, s-sure, whatever makes you feel comfortable.” he says nervously. “You can borrow some of my clothes if you want.” he adds nervously.
Lucas blushes, hard.
“Are you sure? I-I can sleep with the ones I have.” he says nervously.
“It's fine really.” Hari mentions softly.
Aleksy blushes harder this time, and tries to cover his face.
“I-I'll take a shower, if you don't mind. I feel a little sweaty.” he says as he covers his face.
“‘Kay. I'll give you the clothes right now.” Makisig says as he stands up and goes to his closet to find some pyjamas.
“Aha! Here we go.” they say as they give a pair of pajamas to Lucas. “Just knock on the door before you enter cause I'm also gonna change into my pajamas.” they add.
Aleksy nods and goes to the bathroom. Hari closes the door of their room and changes. Once ze's done changing, ze looks at memes on zir phone. The thunderstorm keeps going, but it isn't as bad as when it started.
After twenty minutes, Lucas knocks on the door.
“Come in!” Hari says loudly.
Aleksy opens the door, and Makisig blushes hard upon seeing him.
“Y-You look… nice.” ze says nervously.
Lucas blushes after hearing that comment.
“Dzięki.” he says, embarrassed.
They both stay quiet for a bit before Hari breaks the silence.
“Well… I'll take the sofa while you take the bed.” they say as they walk towards the door.
As they walk outside, Aleksy grabs their hand, and the latter blushes.
“Umm… could you stay with me? Proszę? I feel safer around you.” Lucas says, embarrassed.
“To takie żenujące.” he thinks.
Makisig blushes, hard.
“If it makes you feel comfortable, sure, I-I'll stay with you tonight.” they say nervously.
“Kung panaginip man ito, ayoko nang magising.” they think.
They both let go of each other’s hands and both walk towards the bed. They grab the blankets and lay down on it. Aleksy turns off the lamp.
“Makisig?” he asks softly.
“Yeah?” Hari says.
“I want to thank you for everything tonight. You helped me though the panic attack, listened to me when I talked about my trauma, and let me stay here for the night.” Lucas says softly. “So, thank you.” he adds.
Makisig smiles at him.
“There's no need to thank me Aleksy, I'm your friend, so it's natural that I would want to help you.” they say softly.
Aleksy smiles softly.
“Dziękuję, Makisig.” he says softly.
He closes his eyes to try to sleep.
Hari stares at him softly.
“Paano naging ganito ka-cute ang isang tao?” ze thinks.
Lightning keeps striking, and Aleksy whimpers a little bit. Makisig hugs him.
“It's okay, you're safe here. I'll do my best to protect you, no matter what, that's a promise.” Hari says in a reassuring tone.
Lucas calms down and soon enough, manages to fall asleep.
“Matamis na panaginip, Aleksy.” Makisig whispers in Aleksy's ear.
They fall asleep shortly after closing their eyes. They both stay comfortable, feeling safer next to each other. The thunderstorm finally comes to an end, letting both friends sleep peacefully.

Forbidden Love
Summary: While drunk, Michael tells Samuel a secret that he shouldn't have. As for Andrés, they are hiding something.
Notes: “Andrés” and “Aaron” are the same person, just different personalities. Michael will sometimes speak in Irish while Samuel and Andrés will sometimes speak in Spanish.
Friday, August 1st, 1862
Eleven in the night
St. Victoria, Niwabing, Alexandria
At Samuel's house:
It's a starry night in St. Victoria. Two friends, Michael and Samuel are staying at the latter’s house, drinking alcohol and talking about life in general.
“And that was the moment I decided to move to Alexandria. It was a difficult choice having to leave Arabella behind, but there was nothing that I could do. She deserved to rest in her hometown, not in an unfamiliar place.” Samuel mentions sadly.
“But despite all that, you're happier now, are you not?” Michael says, slightly drunk.
“A little, yes. But it is true that I miss my life back in Etinilia, mainly because Arabella is gone.” Samuel says sadly. “I have moved on from her death, but I still miss her deeply,” he adds.
“I understand what you mean. I lost my sister to that stupid mill fire. The only family member I have -hic- left here in St. Victoria is Avery, but we barely speak to each other.” Michael mentions sadly, and is still drunk.
He drinks another glass of alcohol.
“That… that is why I feel so close to you, closer than anyone I-I ever met. Because I relate to -hic- you a lot. Losing a loved one, society hating us for… for being immigrants, shit like that.” he says, being slightly more drunk than before. “A man like you deserves someone special, someone that can understand and care about you. Someone that will forever be by your side until the day that you die.” he adds.
Samuel blushes after hearing those words.
“I also think that you are very handsome. Your eyes are beautiful to… to stare at.” Michael compliments his friend. “You mean everything to me, I cannot bear the thought of losing you,” he adds.
Samuel blushes even more.
“You are acting weirdly. Is it because you drank seven glasses in less than two and a half hours?” he asks.
“Perhaps, but without them, I would never have gotten the courage to tell you all of this.” Michael responds. “I will be forever grateful that you came into my life. Being by your side feels like home.” he adds with a smile on his face.
Samuel blushes even more and drinks directly from the bottle.
“You will get… you will get sick if you keep drinking that.” Michael says.
“I can handle more glasses drinks than you ever will.” Samuel says, being slightly annoyed. “You should go to sleep, you are acting even stranger than you normally do.” he adds in a more stern tone as he puts the bottle on the table in front of him.
“I am not acting -hic- strange, I am just telling you the truth.” Michael mentions. “I don't want to lose you, that is… that is the truth.” he adds.
“Please stop, you are giving me false hope for something that will never happen.” Samuel says in a slightly annoyed yet sad tone.
“I cannot comprehend what you… what you mean.” Michael says, still drunk. “I genuinely care about you, and I would -hic- do anything for you,” he adds.
“Stop it.” Samuel says annoyed and slightly angry.
“I am fully aware that I will regret telling you this tomorrow, but right now, I just wanted to tell you that I love you, with all my heart. Loving you for ten years and not saying anything hurt my soul. But after all this time, I finally said those words.” Michael says happily. “I know that you don't feel the same way, and I know that you will report me to the authorities and get me killed, but that does not matter to me, not right now.” he adds in a slightly sad voice as he tries to touch Samuel's face.
The latter stays still, blushing hard but trying to hide it.
“Tell me Sam, do you love me too?” Michael asks nervously.
“I…” Samuel starts nervously.
He takes a deep breath before answering.
“How about we talk about all of this tomorrow? It is better if we talk about this once both of us are sober and well rested.” he adds, trying to keep his composure.
Michael lets out a yawn.
“Of course, that sounds -hic- like a good idea.” he says tiredly, but with some obvious disappointment in his voice.
He lets out another yawn.
“Oíche mhaith Sam.” he says tiredly.
“Buenas noches Micah.” Samuel says, trying to act normally as he gets up and walks away.
Michael, still disappointed, grabs the pillow and blanket that are on the small table besides him, lays down on the couch and goes to sleep.
…
Samuel goes upstairs to the balcony.
“Ten years, that is a long time. He has seen me when I was at my worst, and yet, he loves me.” he thinks. “I never expected this outcome, but I love it. I should tell him that I love him back, and then we will see how we will handle this situation.” he thinks.
He looks up to the starry sky above him, and admires it.
“Sometimes I wonder what you would think about all of this, Arabella. I know you told me to move on, and I did, but I don't think any of us could have expected me to fall for Micah.” he thinks. “But, I think you would have accepted it. You said that you wouldn't care for who I loved, only my happiness.” he thinks.
“Papá, what are you doing here? I thought you were with Michael.” a voice says from behind.
Samuel turns around and sees his teenage kid, Andrés, standing behind him.
“Andrés, why are you awake? It is almost midnight.” Samuel says, slightly worried.
“Why are you awake at this hour? It is late, is it not?” Aaron responds in a sassy and slightly mocking tone.
“I am an adult, I can sleep later than you. You on the other hand are a teenager, and teenagers need to get good sleep if they want to become healthier and stronger when they grow up.” Samuel answers, slightly scolding his kid. “Besides, you are my son and I care about you. That is why I want to know.” he adds in a calmer voice.
“Why do I hate the word “son” so much? I could care less when Papá called me that before. But now, I hate it when he says it.” Aaron thinks.
“Fine. I understood your point.” they say, annoyed. “I was reading a book before going to sleep. I thought it was interesting, so I finished it. I answered your question, are you happy now?” they add in an annoyed tone.
Samuel sighs of disappointment.
“It's fine, at least you told did not lie to me,” he says.
“I was actually spending time with Sławek, but I was not going to tell you that. Besides, you never check my room at nighttime, so you never would have realized when I arrived anyway.” Aaron thinks.
“And what about you? You were with Michael before, weren't you?” he asks.
“He was tired and drunk, so I told him that he needed to sleep.” Samuel answers. “I just came here to let him rest and take some fresh air,” he adds.
He turns around and stares at the stars. Andrés stands besides him.
“Andrés, my son, if I were to find someone special that I loved, what would you think?” Samuel asks.
“As long as she treats us with respect, it's fine. That includes Michael, he is part of this family. At least, that's how I feel.” Andrés replies.
Samuel smiles slightly.
“And she must also treat Sławek with respect! He is my best friend and I care about him a lot.” Andrés softly mentions. “That's normal, isn't it?” they ask with a bit of hesitation in his voice.
“Of course, it is natural to care a lot about your friends, just like how I care about Micah.” Samuel answers.
They both stare at the starry sky in silence before Samuel breaks it.
“I am curious, are you in love with anyone?” he asks.
“I…” Andrés starts. “Yes, I love Joanne. Her smile makes my heart flutter, her eyes are a beauty and her blonde hair is quite soft. Her company makes me feel loved. Just thinking about her makes me delighted!” they add, being slightly nervous.
“And do you wish to tell her how you feel?” he asks.
“I am slightly unsure, what if she doesn't feel the same way? What if she hates me after finding out? Even worse! What if she tries to hurt me in one way or another after I confess to her?!” Andrés replies, slightly panicked.
“And why would she want to hurt you?” Samuel asks.
“Because…” Andrés starts. “Because it's wrong! Both of us are from different countries and she might think it's bizarre and scandalous! That is the truth, and it terrifies me.” he adds, slightly nervous. “As much as I want to tell her, I won't, I don't want to ruin our friendship, and I don't want her to hate me either.” he adds.
Samuel puts his hand on Andrés shoulder as a sign of comfort.
“I understand how you feel. I was also terrified when I fell in love with your mother. A rich girl with a poor immigrant boy, that was scandalous. I never expected her to love me back, but she did.” the former mentions. “I know you're scared, and that's perfectly fine. Whether you tell her or not is your choice, and I will respect your decision, no matter what. As long as you are happy with someone that treats you right, I will respect your relationship with that person.” he adds in a calming tone.
“Even if it's wrong? Like with Joanne?” Andrés asks nervously.
“Yes, even if it's wrong.” Samuel reassures his kid.
“I…” Andrés starts nervously. “I-I will go to sleep now. Buenas noches Papá.” they end up saying nervously as they walk away.
Samuel stays on the balcony, looking at his kid, a little confused. Once his kid leaves, he looks back at the starry sky.
…
Andrés goes to his room, closes the door, lays on his bed and covers himself with blankets.
“Should I tell him? He said he would accept my relationship with anyone even if it's wrong. But I told him that I loved Joanne, which was true, but Sławek is much kinder and prettier than her in every way.” he thinks with a smile on his face that quickly fades away. “Still, Papá fell in love with my Mama, and it was wrong because of their social status and their nationalities. But my love for Sławek is forbidden because a man cannot date another man.” he thinks.
They then realize something.
“But… I am not a man, I look like one, but I don't feel like one. Weirdly enough, I don't feel like a boy or a girl. So, is it forbidden in that case? Doesn't matter, society will still hate me, and Papá might hate me too.” he thinks sadly.
They stare blankly at the ceiling
“I wish I could tell Sławek how I feel towards him. Trying to ignore these feelings and suppress them is painful.” they think.
Andrés thinks of Sławoj’s smile, his icy blue eyes, his soft blonde hair, his energetic and delightful personality, all of that before he stops himself.
“Stop it, this is wrong and he just sees me as a friend, nothing more” they sadly think.
While he stares at the ceiling, he feels like something's stroking his hair in an attempt to calm him down.
“Mama? Is that you? No, it cannot be get, Heaven doesn't exist, does it?” they ask themselves. “It's fine, I am probably feeling things that aren't real, again.” they answer in their head.
After a while, he turns sideways, closes his eyes and manages to fall asleep.
…
The next day, Michael wakes up with a headache on the sofa. He gets up slowly.
“How much did I drink last night? Ten glasses? I feel awful!” he thinks.
Slowly, blurry memories of the night before come back to his mind.
“I did all of that?! But, why does it seem like he didn't mind at all?” he thinks. “I need to talk to him about this.” he thinks as he gets up and walks slowly towards the stairs.
He arrives in front of Samuel's room, and knocks on the door.
“You can enter!” Samuel says loudly.
Micheal opens the door and closes it. He then sees his friend standing in front of the mirror, fixing his hair.
“Sam, could you tell me what happened last night?” Michael asks nervously.
“Well, you were drunk and you said that you loved me.” Samuel responds as he brushes his hair.
“And what did you say? What do you think about it?” Michael asks nervously.
Samuel puts his hairbrush on the desk.
“I told you that we could talk about it once we were sober,” he answers. “As for what I think, I… I also love you, a lot. I was surprised that you felt the same way, I mean, both of us are men, and it's wrong, but that never stopped me from loving you.” he adds softly.
Michael blushes, hard.
“How long have you been in love with me?” he asks curiously.
“I cannot remember, but I did notice them around eight years ago.” Samuel replies. “I was already over Arabella, so perhaps that is why I noticed my feelings at that moment in time and not earlier.” he adds.
They both stay quiet for a bit. Samuel then approaches Michael and touches his face.
“I love you Micah, I love you so much.” Samuel says softly.
Michael brushes a stand of Samuel's hair out of his face and touches it.
“I love you too.” Michael says softly.
They both stare at each other's lips and slowly kiss each other. The kiss warms both of their bodies, and makes their hearts flutter. They then slowly pull away and hug each other.
“But, what about Andrés? When are you going to tell him about this?” Michael asks.
“Not for now. I just want to know how our relationship will progress, and once it gets more serious, then I will tell him.” Samuel answers.
“So we have to hide our relationship around him for now?” Michael asks.
“Yes, but I don't think it will be for long. After all, he is my son, and if I explain this to him, he will understand.” Samuel answers.
Michael smiles slightly and rests his head on Samuel’s shoulder.
“If we ever drink again, please remind me to not drink more than three glasses, I feel awful!” Michael says tiredly.
Samuel chuckles a bit and hugs his lover.
“I told you not to drink so much.” Samuel says in a bit of a teasing tone.
Michael looks at him, with a slight annoyed face.
“Cibé rud.” he replies, with an annoyed tone in his voice as he looks away.
Samuel just looks softly at his lovert.
“How about you rest on my bed? You can sleep there.” he mentions with a softer tone.
Michael nods. Samuel helps his lover lay on the bed.
“Try to sleep, alright? You'll feel better once you wake up.” Samuel says softly.
“Is breá liom tú, Sam.” Michael says tiredly as he closes his eyes to sleep.
Samuel smiles lightly as his lover and kisses him on the forehead.
“Yo también te amo, Micah.” Samuel whispers.
He then exits the room, closes the door, and goes to the kitchen.
…
Once in the kitchen, he starts making breakfast.
After around twenty minutes, Samuel finishes breakfast. At that moment, Andrés arrives at the kitchen, all dressed in regular clothes and not pajamas.
“Buenos días Papá.” they say.
“Buenos días Andrés, would you mind setting up the table for the two of us?” Samuel asks his kid.
“Michael is weak from drinking so much last night? Not surprising, he does have low tolerance to alcohol, doesn't he?” Aaron mentions in a slight mocking and rude tone.
“He does, yes, but you should really stop talking in that tone, it is a little rude.” Samuel scolds his kid.
Aaron rolls his eyes and starts setting up the table. Once they're done, Samuel brings the pancakes to the table. They both sit down and start eating their food.
Shortly after they're done, someone knocks on the door.
“I'll go get it.” Andrés mentions.
They open it and see Sławoj standing there.
“Sławek! How are you doing?” Andrés happily asks.
“Everything's good, what about you?” Sławoj asks, also being a little happy.
“A little tired, but otherwise everything's fine,” Andrés replies.
“Uh huh.” Sławoj says. “Raven, if you are not so tired, would you like to go to the city plaza with me?” he asks with a bit of nervousness in his voice.
“Most certainly, my dearest friend.” Aaron replies in a confident tone.
Sławoj laughs a bit.
“Raven, what are you? A fancy poet from ancient times?” he says with amusement in his voice.
“Maybe I am.” Aaron responds, still in the same confident tone. “Should we go out now?” he asks.
Sławoj nods.
“Papá! I will be at the plaza with Sławek!” Andrés shouts so that their dad can hear them.
“Just come back before supper!” Samuel responds loudly.
Andrés smiles and quickly puts on his shoes to go out.
“See you in a few hours Papá!” they say loudly.
They close the door and check three times they it's locked, and once they're done, they walk away with Sławoj.
…
After Andrés leaves with Sławoj, Samuel heads to his room. He enters discreetly, grabs a book from his bookshelf and sits down on his bed, trying to be as quiet as possible in order not to wake Michael up.
“He looks pretty when he's asleep.” Samuel thinks with a smile on his face.
He reads a little and keeps reading for a bit before he eventually gets tired and decides to sleep, next to his lover.
