HIGHLIGHTS

their debut showcase was the first stage nakyung’s been on since iz*one disbanded and she was just shaky with nerves the entire time.

the members were all equally nervous though so they all comforted one another.

with a few exceptions, some of her iz*one members did come to the showcase and visited her backstage!! due to schedules, some weren’t able to such as j-line besides sakura 😕

yunjin also came as they were pledis trainees together!

for those that couldn’t come, she, of course, got a kkt from them congratulating her for her re-debut <3 iz*one girlies aside, she also got messages from idols like chungha, itzy’s ryujin and chaeryeong, fromis_9’s nagyung, and chuu.

it made her super emotional as she missed them a lot and wishes they could’ve all still been together in a group but also she really likes where she is now. she’s more than content with her present and future path.

nakyung had changed so much from her iz*one days, she thought fans wouldn’t like her anymore or forgotten about her since it’d been so long😭

but she did get a lot of support from fans all around the world and in korea

her intro ment. <3 “hello, i’m kiss of life’s nakyung. it’s nice to finally be on stage again and i’m so excited to be here with my members. thank you for being here. we’ll work hard so please take care of us!”

she was soo overwhelmed by the amount of support and the change from what it used to be but she was certain she’d get used to it again.

she made sure to read every letter she got from a fan, even if it made her lose sleep. she was determined lmao

for her solo song, it’s named heart attack <3 she had a lot of fun with this song and she didnt participate in the lyrics (PUBLICLY!!) but she had fun filming the mv and even performing it when she did

her solo lore is about how she ‘fell in love’ with performing. the mv focuses on her chasing after her idol dream !!

heart attack was reallyyy well received by the public!! it gained kiof more attention, especially with intl fans

she made sure to do shhh challenge with chaeyeon, chaeryeong, newjeans’ danielle, zerobaseone’s hanbin and matthew, and literally anyone she managed to meet during music shows

also she was promoting kinda at the same time as bts’ jungkook and was lowkey freaking out every time they were in the same vicinity. somehow it felt different seeing him than any other time back in iz*one.

i feel it’s also important for everyone to know that natty is the reason she joined s2 lol

also her hair was blonde/honey blonde very important idc

nakyung showed up for kiof’s episode on ITSLIVE !!! like she was rehearsing over everything she was so excited

she also went solo on youngji’s nothing much prepared and it was fun, she doesn’t like drinking alcohol a lot so she’s kind of a lightweight which is how she announces to youngji and the viewers that she collects her bias’ photocards 💀

she regretted it so much the next day.

they also got to perform shhh at seoul fashion week?? crazy

as the era came to an end, she was sad about it but knew this was only a new beginning. and it could only get better.

the mv starts with nakyung entering a karaoke bar with her friends, arms linked with another brunette girl.

the scene leads to her performing on the karaoke stage as the song ‘heart attack’ starts, a surprisingly upbeat song for the dark atmosphere of the karaoke bar.

she’s having fun! the crowd, however… is not enjoying it. her friends are torn between cheering her on or having secondhand embarrassment before the brunette girl she was with pulls her off the stage and out the karaoke bar. the song abruptly cuts off before the first verse ends

she’s confused and slightly angry, wanting to go back and finish her performance but the friend pulls her back. the viewers can’t hear what the friend is saying, hearing muffled sounds of water instead. but nakyung is visibly getting more upset and angry, tears rising to her eyes but refusing to fall.

she takes off, walking home in the dark in angry and upset silence until she catches sight of an audition flyer for a company. she tears it off the wall and the scene ends.

the scene starts with nakyung nervously staring at a door before following an older man inside. a camera is facing the wall, three people, one man, two women, are behind the camera, facing her.

with a deep breath, she bows and introduces herself. this is the first time the viewers have heard her voice. the woman tells her to start when she’s ready.

nakyung starts to sing heart attack again and the background changes from the room to a large stage, now changed into different clothes than before.

the viewers are shown a large crowd, all holding red lightsticks in the air but too blurred they barely even look like lightsticks— all you can see is the red glow.

nakyung is dancing to the choreo along with other girls dressed in simple black clothes; her backup dancers.

the scene switches to her in a recording studio, still singing heart attack. it turns to the staff behind the window, nodding in satisfaction.

the scene switches again to nakyung holding fansigns, talking to fans and signing albums.

the viewers are shown nakyung performing on stage in the same red outfit, the song and fanchants coming to an end as she smiles at the crowd/camera.

the viewers hear the crowd roar with screams before the scene switches, changing back to the green screen and same room before.

the woman raises her brow expectantly, “well? are you going to start or continue wasting our time?”

nakyung stares at her before bolting from the room, tearing her audition paper off her body and aiming to throw it in the trash but it bounced off and fell to the ground.

as she runs out of the building, she bumps into another girl. it’s natty. they stare at one another before nakyung runs off again.

natty turns, looking at the paper and picking it up. it focuses on the name— 이나경.

nakyung trips as soon as she’s out of sight from natty. when she gets up, her knees are bleeding. she hisses at the pain and walks faster to get home.

a car passes by nakyung, splashing water on her from the previous rain. she gasps in shock, looking up and making eye contact with julie who is looking back in concern before the car turns the street quickly.

she has a solo shot of her, still wet and shivering only in a shirt and skirt, walking past belle, who is on the ground with her head in hands. she hesitates as if debating on whether to ask her if she’s okay or not, but ultimately continues walking away. belle looks up in time just to see nakyung walking away, back facing her.

she’s seen looking up at the fireworks in awe along with the rest of the members.

somehow she’s made her way back to the girls and back to where the audition was— showing up just in time to watch julie’s car hit natty. her mouth drops open, watching natty try to walk it off.

the mv ends but i imagine julie offers her a ride home seeing she’s soaked and cold </3 she also felt bad

nakyung nudges julie, nodding her head to the bruises and scrapes on natty’s body. she shakes her head, watching as julie just wraps the bandages over her limbs.

nakyung hugs natty around the shoulder as they start having a mini fashion show, getting a black dress thrown at her head.

she’s changed into her jean dress, pulling belle by the arm when she stops in the doorway.

the next scene, she’s on the other side of natty and looking off.

nakyung’s back is facing haneul, but she turns around when julie does. she spots the boy following after haneul, immediately taking off after them with the girls.

nakyung reaches the boy first, shoving him back and letting natty push him into the stall while belle grabs the trashcan and dumps it over his head. she turns and follows behind natty and haneul.

nakyung’s running with belle and julie, and sits in the middle of the backseat with belle and natty.

nakyung adds the heart on haneul’s finger with nail polish.

at the gas station, she tries on sunglasses and grabs a keychain to … “buy” before heading to the gas pump with natty, handing her a candybar.

in the parking lot, natty pulls nakyung up to dance. she dances to the correct part of the choreo, following the rest of the girls to the railing at the end of the song.

nakyung meets natty and the rest of the girls at the top of the stairs, eyebrow raising expectantly with a small smile on her face before they all get into position.

K-pop has gained immense popularity worldwide in recent years. It also reached my country, Kazakhstan. I find K-Pop in 2019. The BTS comeback with the song "boy in love" became my first and favourite kpop song. but the very first song that I listening was "Gangnam style" by Psy. I've been getting to know different new groups for the last 4 years. and now even the fifth generation has come to kpop idols. Each generation has its own place in this industry. The third and fourth generation are my favorites. Bts songs saved me from depression. My psychologist said that if it wasn't for them, I could have ended up with a bad ending. Girl groups that sing about Feminism, equality have made it clear to me that I have to love myself. Itzy's songs about confidence taught me to be a leader, taught me to love myself. Ive's songs make me feel like a princess. Their elegant images, their songs and the members themselves are my role models. Іnstrumental groups like "xdinary heroes" immediately hooked me. They have a lot of fans in Kazakhstan and I'm glad about it. Moreover, the most of the groups' emphasis on positivity, inclusivity, and kindness has inspired me to spread love and support within my community. Music's of each group resonates with me on a deep emotional level, addressing universal themes such as self-love, personal growth, and societal pressures.

This newfound self-confidences, feelings that kpop give me have encouraged me to pursue my dreams fearlessly, develop my talents, and embrace my unique identity.

Now I know a lot of groups and I love them. I like the life of a kpop fan. and I would also like to make such a phenomenon all over the world, but only on behalf of my country.

In conclusion, K-pop have undoubtedly transformed my life, empowering me to embrace my true self and fostering a sense of global community. In Kazakhstan, their music has transcended cultural boundaries, promoting cultural exchange, diversity, and mutual understanding.

A/N: I'll be posting all the stuff I've worked on in the last year or two today (including this one) I think this one mentions injury, fighting, and arguing so be a bit weary about that. If I miss something or anything like that, then let me know!

Jisoo

Being participants in ISAC was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and it was the first time ever that BLACKPINK was allowed to compete—in fact it was the first time that any girl group from YG was allowed to compete. You and the girls were all dressed in sports attire, except for Jisoo, who was dressed in formal attire because she was invited to become one of the commentators for the event.

You were stretching your entire body, hearing a satisfying pop coming from your joints, and you were warming up to avoid any injuries. You heard Jennie call out to you, and as you were about to walk towards her, someone grabbed your hand and pulled you towards them.

In one swift motion, Jisoo had pulled you inside a small room filled with equipment and she had a sly smirk on her lips. When you saw her, you couldn't help but smile as you greeted her. "Hi, jagi."

She snaked her arms around your waist and she kissed you near your lip. "Hey. Good luck out there. Don't get injured, okay? I know you'll do good. I love you, jagiya."

"I love you too, jagiya. I'll make you proud." You said with a confident grin and you peck her lips. She rested her head on your chest and hugged you even tighter. "Win or no, I'm already proud of you. Just take care and have fun."

With one quick kiss, you and Jisoo carefully exited the room, going your separate ways. You went to go find Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, you found them talking to some TWICE members so you decided to tag along with them, conversing with the maknaes since you were close with Chaeyoung. With a few introductions and pleasantries, the event had begun and all of you were called to your first event.

During the first event, which was the 4 x 100m relay, Jennie was the first to run considering she was the slowest. You already had a plan in all the events you were able to participate in, and the plan for this event was for Lisa to run last since she had the longest legs and she could ran the fastest. Lining up in your spots, the event started as soon as the referee said go and everyone sprinted quickly. The commentators could be heard from the speakers around the venue. "There goes Rosé running fast after Jennie passed her the baton! Look at her go!"

The event continued on and BLACKPINK placed second, losing to Red Velvet. Next event was archery, where Lisa sat out because she had terrible eyesight, where you placed third losing to AOA and Twice. After that was Baseball pitching, where you sat out, and somehow won against ITZY who had Yeji who was arguably the best pitcher around. Next up was fencing, where all four of you were cheering Rosé on since it was an individual event, where she was fifth and you all couldn't be any prouder; even Jisoo was heard cheering from the stands as she had been in earlier events. 

The last event was the thing that had you especially worried since you had little to no experience with it, Korean wrestling. Despite being tired from her solo event in fencing, Rosé had pushed through and replaced Jennie in her spot since none of you wanted her to get hurt. Before the event had started, everyone was given a 20-minute break, and you decided to spend it sitting alone by a corner with your head in your knees. You really were worried about entering into something you had little knowledge of, but you couldn't back out now. You didn't want to risk Jennie for your own selfishness.

You were snatched out of your thoughts when you felt something cold touch your nape. Flinching, you looked up with furrowed brows as you saw Jisoo looking down at you with a smile and a cold bottle of water in her hand just for you. "You okay? You seem to be worried."

You took the bottle from her hand after thanking her and you took a swig from it. You knew that denying anything wouldn't get you anywhere so you just decided to open up. "Yeah. Well I'm just a little worried about the next event, but I'll be fine."

"I know you will. But just remember that we all believe in you. Rosé and Lisa will be there to help you. While Jennie and I will be cheering you on." She said, a heart-shaped smile on her beautiful lips. "Now wipe that frown off your face. I gotta get going. Good luck!"

"Kamsahamnida!" You shouted when Jisoo was already a few feet away from you. Jumping to your feet, you mentally prepared yourself and jogged up to the girls who were talking to Seulgi and Irene. Minutes passed and your last event had started.

Many other teams had fought each other before you had to take your turn, and as time passed by, you got more and more anxious. But Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie were there to reassure you that everything would be fine. So you took in a deep breath and calmed yourself. It was finally your turn and the first person who had to fight was Rosé. You were the last defense, should they need it. Rosé won fairly easily against the first opponent, sadly Lisa didn't, so it was all on you now. Your opponent was Momoland, and you knew they were strong, especially the opponent you were facing now, Nancy.

You stepped up on the platform, and before you knew it the match had begun. Clinging on to the pieces of fabric that were wrapped around her torso, you tried your best to pin her down to the mat while she tried to counter your advances. You knew she was strong, but you didn't expect her to be this strong. Almost losing your footing, you readjusted yourself and grabbed hold of the cloth on her leg, pulling her upwards. As she kicks and fights against your hold, your foot slips ever so gently and you hear your ankle pop. Pain shot throughout your body and before you knew it, things started to fade in and out.

Before you could even feel the mat underneath you, you were already hanging on to your ankle and you wince in pain as the adrenaline inside your body seeped out. Muffled screams came from everywhere as tears streamed down your cheeks, the pain not fading no matter how hard you clutched your foot. Someone helped you up, you didn't know who. A ringing in your ears didn't allow you to hear a thing and your eyes were blurry from your tears. Not long though you were placed on a bed at the infirmary, and medics were tending to your ankle.

Coming down from the pain in your foot, you started to calm down and relax a bit, but your tears weren't stopping. Footsteps came into earshot and you immediately put your arm over your face to cover it.

"Unnie, are you okay?!" You heard Rosé asked, worry lacing her voice as you simply nodded. There was an awkward silence for a little bit before you felt a hand rest on your shoulder. Taking a peak, you saw Lisa step forward with a worried look on her face. "Unnie, talk to us. We're your friends. You don't have to be ashamed."

"Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it, but I'd like to be al—" "Where is she?!" Jisoo's panicked voice cut you off as she ran into the room, causing the three other girls to look at her. Jennie stepped aside to show you and you continued to cover your face, not wanting any of them to see you crying. 

Jisoo looked at her younger members with a smile. "Can you guys leave us alone for a few minutes? I need to talk to her for a bit."

The other girls didn't hesitate to nod and they left the room immediately. Jisoo walked towards you and she stopped beside your bed, her hand placed gently on yours as she rubbed circles around it soothingly. "Can I see you, jagi?"

You took in a deep breath and hesitantly took your arm off from your face. A shocked expression graced her features momentarily, but her concern for you immediately took over. She placed her warm hands on your cheeks and wiped away your tears, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead.

"Are you okay? You did so good today, jagi. Does your ankle still hurt? Is there anything I can do for you?" Jisoo rambled on, switching between complimenting you and asking you how she could help. You only hang your head, letting more tears fall from your eyes. "I'm sorry, Jisoo."

You couldn't see her, but you knew confusion graced her beautiful features. Holding your hand, she kissed your knuckles and smiled at you. "Why are you apologizing, jagi? You didn't do anything wrong."

"I'm sorry because I failed. And that I made all of you worried. I should have been more careful so I didn't get injured. I've put our group in a bad spot, and because of me we lost." You said, your shoulders heavy and you were unwilling to look at her, afraid of what she was going to say.

But to your surprise, Jisoo only laughed which made you look up at her immediately. As she smiled at you, her heart-shaped lips sent flutters to your heart. You were honestly so confused, and it was clear from your face. Jisoo rubbed your scalp with her palm, messing your hair up. "Jagi, don't be silly. We won because of you!"

A confused what escaped your lips and you stared at her dumbfoundedly. She hugged you tight and kissed your cheek.

"And jagi? You got injured, so what? It happens. But we're here to help. You were amazing out there. And I'm so proud of you. I love you."

Jennie

You were never one to bother Jennie when she sleeps, especially after she's had a tiring day at work, so you lie down on your bed in silence as your eyes were wide open. Both of you had been lying down for nearly two hours, however, Jennie fell asleep the moment her head hit the pillow, but you on the other hand found it difficult to fall asleep.

You didn't know if it was the fact that you had chronic insomnia, which Jennie knew about, or the fact that you had been reading comments on social media recently about your relationship, which she didn't know about. But either way, you were wide awake and your mind was wandering in places where it shouldn't.

The ticking of the alarm clock on your bedside table did little to help since the slight ticking made you flinch each time you zoned in and out of the room. Groaning in annoyance, you sat up and looked at Jennie. She looked absolutely beautiful in her silk nightgown and even though her hair was a mess on the pillow, she still looked stunning.

Realizing that you wouldn't be able to sleep anytime soon, you decided to get up and go to the living room to watch some TV until you finally felt drowsy. Sitting down on the cold cushion, you wrapped yourself up in a spare blanket and flipped through some channels.

While scrolling through bad movies and Korean dramas, a news headline stopped you in your tracks and you paid close attention to whatever was being said by the reporter. You instantly frowned knowing that it was a news report about you and Jennie, and how you two were spotted just outside the YG building going out on a date. Worse thing was the fans' backlash about everything, they kept attacking you and Jennie about it through social media and a rude fan even humiliated Jennie about it in public.

Pissing yourself off even more, you got up and turned the TV off, slamming the remote into the couch.

You found yourself in the kitchen, a glass of water in your hand as you clutched the edge of the table tightly. Your mind racing with negative thoughts as you felt tears pooling in your eyes, you ducked your head down and you let them all fall.

This was a consistent thing during your nights, you crying in the kitchen while Jennie was fast asleep in your room. You didn't want to bother her with all the noise in your head, you already know she's got a lot on her plate so you didn't want to add anything that could worry her.

But your secret won't last long. You knew one way or another Jennie would find out about this habit of yours. And she did.

"Y/N?" You froze in place, your heart racing out of your chest when you heard Jennie's groggy voice. You took in a deep breath and quickly wiped away your tears. You turn your head to see her and you plaster on a smile. "Oh hey, Baby. Did I wake you?"

"No, not really. I was just surprised to see you out of bed." She replied, taking steps closer to you and her eyes widened when she realized what was happening. "Y/N, are you crying?"

Before you could even let out a word, Jennie rushed to you and she cupped your cheek. Thumbing away your tears, her eyes looked at yours and you could see the worry in them. "Baby, what's wrong? What happened?"

"N-Nothing. It isn't important." You stammered, trying to avoid her gaze. Her hands felt warm on your cheeks, and it made you feel at ease, but somehow you also felt nervous because you were terrified about what was going to happen if you opened up to her.

Jennie wrapped her arms around you and buried her face into your shoulder. "If it isn't important then you wouldn't be crying about it, Y/N. I know you, Baby. You don't cry easily. What's wrong?"

You didn't answer, not because you didn't want to, but because you didn't know what to say or where to start. So you stood there in silence, tears still in your eyes and your mind a buzz with all the things you were thinking about.

You felt Jennie tug on your shirt and she hugged you even tighter. "Please, tell me. You shouldn't be crying alone. Tell me, Y/N. I'm here for you."

"I'm sorry, Jennie." You choke out, sobbing into her shoulder as you finally let it all out. Jennie was even more worried about you now, but she held you in her arms nonetheless.

Jennie listened to you intently as you apologized for things which sounded absolutely absurd to her, but she understood where you were coming from. She understood how hard it was to cope with everything that comes with dating an idol, so the fear started to bubble up inside of Jennie as she thought about what you wanted to do next. Would you be leaving her? Have you had enough? Of course she would understand, but it would emotionally ruin her if she lost you. You were her crutch in life, her rock, the only thing she can come home to and give her peace. She can't lose you too.

"I don't know what to do anymore, Jen. I don't want to ruin you and everything you worked so hard for. I don't deserve yo—" your words were caught in your throat as Jennie lunged forward, her lips crashing onto yours and her hands held on desperately to your cheeks.

The kiss you shared was rough, but not in a sexual sense. The way Jennie kissed you made her feel desperate, not wanting to lose you through peer pressure, and it was a reminder to you as to why you should stay. Not because she had all the luxuries in life, but because she loves you. She may have worked hard for her career, but no amount of hard work could ever give her her true love—you.

Your lungs burned with the lack of air, causing both of you to pull away and her forehead rested on yours. Tears staining her beautiful cheeks and her arms wrapped around you like a vice grip.

"We don't need to listen to them, okay? We have each other. We have us. They don't matter. We love each other, and that's all that matters."

Rosé

Arguments happen to any couple, but somehow you and Rosé seem to avoid it as much as possible. Neither of you wanted to have a heated argument over anything, so no matter what topic it was you two always talked it through. There were little fights here and there, but nothing too serious.

Considering that you and Rosé are very intimate with one another, neither of you could resist talking to each other whenever you had a misunderstanding. She would cuddle up next to you and whisper apologies into your ear whenever you two were about to fall asleep, not like you could though, but it did give you reassurance. And you would prevent her from walking out whenever it got a little too heated, wanting to fix things as soon as possible.

Tonight, however, was a very rare exemption. You and Rosé were screaming at each other, arguing about her schedule again for the 5th time this week, but unlike the last few times you were able to dismiss it fairly easily, this time things had come to a boiling point. And Rosé had erupted all her frustrations out on you.

She'd said things that had crossed the line, overstepping unsaid boundaries and causing your confidence to crumble. But you had so much pride that you didn't want to back down at all. Curses were spewed at each other, angry comments, and other things that lovers shouldn't have said to each other.

But something inside of you snapped when Rosé made mention of your past relationships, and how they hadn't worked because of your controlling nature. She knew very well that you were very sensitive when it came to topics like that, considering the fact that you had done everything to make things work out with your past lovers, even giving yourself up despite wanting to wait until marriage.

When Rosé was about to walk out of your apartment, you suddenly felt tears pouring out of your eyes. You had so much control over your emotions, especially your tears, but hearing Rosé use something you were so insecure about to hurt you utterly destroyed your pride and the trust you had for her. Her hand was already on the doorknob when she heard your first sob, stopping dead in her tracks and feeling a cold breeze down her spine.

She turned on her heel to look at you, seeing the tears pour from your eyes, Rosé felt a sudden panic rise from her chest and she stepped closer to you. As she was about to lay a hand on you, you backed away from her touch and you laughed bitterly at her.

"Really, Rosie? I know you're angry at me and that we're fighting, but really?" Rosé was confused as to what you were saying, it hadn't occurred to her the depth of her words and was oblivious to the pain you were in. "You would really stoop that low?"

"What are you..." Rosé trailed off, looking deep into your orbs. Her eyes widened at the realization of her words and she immediately covered her mouth. "Shit... Y/N. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean any of it. I'm so—"

"Save it, Rosie. Please." Your voice sounded strained as you pinched the bridge of your nose and took in a deep breath. "If you're going to leave. Then please, leave. I... I don't have the heart or the energy to do this right now."

"But, Y/N..." Rosé shut herself up when she saw the endless tears streaming down your cheeks. She could only see the pain she caused you, and the way you refused to look at her only broke her heart even more. Rosé took another glance at you and she nodded to herself. "Okay. I'm sorry."

Rosé left your apartment, leaving you alone, and as she left, you collapsed on the couch, tears not stopping from falling down from your eyes. You don't know how long it had been since you started crying, or since Rosé had left, but you had already fallen asleep on the couch.

The next day came by sooner than expected, and Rosé was back at your place. She was outside your door, debating on whether or not she would knock on your door, dreading that you wouldn't open. But when she finally knocked, she didn't receive an answer. She opened the door, surprised it wasn't locked, and entering in, she noticed how empty the apartment felt.

"Y/N? Love, it's me. I'm sorry about last night. Can we talk now, please?" Rosé's voice was hushed, not wanting to invade your personal space or frightening you with her sudden appearance. But Rosé noticed the snoring coming from the couch, quickly moving towards it and seeing your sleeping figure, eyes plump from crying and cheeks still stained of tears.

She sat beside you and she slowly rubbed your shoulder. Gently, your eyes fluttered open and you soaked in her figure. She flashed you a sad smile, you did the same, and you moved slightly away from her as you two sat in silence. Both your minds were buzzing with all the worries that last night had left, neither of you wanted to open up, but you both knew that nothing would be fixed if no one swallowed their pride.

"I'm sorry." You two said in unison, looking at each other, and tears threatening to fall from both your eyes. A sudden flash of relief poured over both of you, Rosé took your hand in hers, slowly caressing it with her thumb. You watch her intently, knowing that she had something important to say. "I really am sorry for last night. I've said things that I should never have said, and I broke your trust. I understand if you want space or stuff like that. I just really wanted to talk to you about this. I'm sorry, Y/N."

You look at her and you sigh. You flung your head back on the couch and covered your face with your palms, preventing your tears from falling again. "Listen, Rosie... last night. Last night was bad for us. And the stuff we said to each other. I really don't want to think about it anymore."

Rosé nodded her head and took in a deep breath, dreading the next few words she was about to say. "Do you want to break up?"

"No, Rosie, of course not." You say with determination, taking her hand in yours and the gesture makes her look at you with sorry eyes. "But I think you and I need to discuss boundaries again. Seriously, this time. We should never be able to hurt each other like that again."

Rosé places a gentle kiss on your knuckles, intertwining your fingers together as she nodded her head slowly. "I understand, my love. I'm sorry, Y/N."

"I'm sorry too, Rosie." Your girlfriend engulfed you in a warm embrace, her heartbeat finally stilling as relief washed over her. She wasn't going to lose you. You chose to stay despite the disgusting things she said.

You may have forgiven Rosé for the meantime, but you both knew the trust that you had built up would take time to repair, and Rosé would never be able to forgive herself for all the things she said. She would ingrain in her mind forever the broken look in your eyes as you told her to leave that night, and she would never allow for that to happen again.

Moving slightly away from the hug, Rosé gazed at your brown orbs and she knew how lucky she was. A smile crept on her lips as she pressed a gentle kiss on your cheek.

"I'm sorry for hurting you, my love. I will never allow for that to happen again. I promise you that. I love you."

Lisa

Lisa had just finished all her appointments for the day and she texted you to meet her at your favorite coffee shop so that you two could have some quality time together. She was giddy to finally be able to be with you after such a long time, it was honestly refreshing for her.

A few minutes later, the car Lisa had been riding in with her manager had stopped outside the coffee shop and as she was about to hop out when she saw you standing behind the shop with your best friend. She smiled to herself, wanting to jump into your conversation but immediately stopped herself again when she saw the two of you arguing.

From the looks of it, you two seemed to be screaming at each other, and it seemed to be a really heated argument since she could see your eyes starting to glisten with tears.

Lisa was just looking at the two of you when suddenly your friend started shoving you, that kicked up something inside of her and she immediately sprung out of the car, sprinting towards the two of you.

As your friend was about to shove you again, Lisa stepped in front of you with her arms outstretched to defend you. "Hey, what's going on here? Why are you two arguing?"

"Oh great." The girl in front of Lisa spurted out. "Your girlfriend's here to defend you... again. That's it, I'm done. Come talk to me when you've had your head out of your own ass, Y/N."

Lisa scowled at her words, clenching her jaw and holding back the urge to yell at her. "Hey! Watch it!"

"Whatever." She deadpanned, turning her back and walking away from the both of you. Her heavy footsteps had faded further as she disappeared into the crowd of people walking by.

Lisa clicked her tongue and shook her head. "Bitch."

There were a bunch more slurs that Lisa wanted to say, but the sound of your whimpering had cut off her thoughts, causing her to look at you as you turned away. Quickly wiping away your tears, you took in a deep breath and turned back to Lisa with a forced smile on your lips.

"Hi, Babe. Thanks for helping out. Let's go?" You said sweetly, but Lisa could see through your unshed tears as you held her hand and pulled her to the coffee shop.

Lisa didn't move from her spot, her feet were nailed in their place, and that made you stop in your tracks. You waited for her to talk, knowing that she wouldn't let this slide easily.

"What happened?" Lisa asked, her voice stern and commanding. You shook your head and laughed awkwardly. "Nothing. It wasn't important. Come on!"

"Y/N,  you never cry." Her comment made you stop in your tracks and you turned your head to look at her. Her eyes looked straight into yours which were still glistening with unshed tears. "We don't need to talk about it if you don't want to, but I'm not ignoring the fact that you're crying. Why are you holding back?"

You let a deep sigh escape your lips while you close your eyes tightly, debating about the thoughts that lingered in your head. You turn your entire body to face Lisa and force a smile on your lips, while finally letting your tears drop. "I don't cry because I've never had anyone who would comfort me. So I was used to crying alone, not wanting anyone to think I was weak."

Her warm hands cupped your cheek as she gazed into your eyes, her beautiful brown orbs focused on yours. "Y/N, I'm your girlfriend. You can trust me, you know that, right? You don't have to hide from me."

You bit your lip, holding back any possible whimpers that could come out of your mouth, but you couldn't hold it in anymore. Covering your mouth and burying your face into her shoulder, you finally let it all out. Lisa wrapped her arms around you and she rubbed your back to soothe you. "It's okay. Just let it all out. I'm here for you."

Seeing you cry was a first for Lisa; yes, you were a ball of sunshine and goofy antics, but you were tough as hell too. Crying wasn't your thing, and this was the first time Lisa saw you ball your eyes out. It hurt her seeing you like this, but she was glad to be your shoulder to cry on, hoping that you'd open up more to her knowing that she'll always be here for you.

Once you recovered and your tears died down, you pulled away and smiled at Lisa. Wiping away the remainder of your tears, you peck her cheek and intertwine your fingers with hers. "Thank you, Lisa."

She smiled back at you, cupping your cheek and using her thumb to caress your skin gently. "You're welcome. Now what's say you and I get some coffee, and we talk about it if you want to, okay?"

You nodded your head excitedly and the two of you headed inside the coffee shop. Lisa ordered your favorite things and you two talked over your day, finally talking about what had happened in the alleyway earlier with you and your best friend. She listened to everything you said attentively and allowed you to express yourself fully.

TAEHEE’S 100 QUESTIONS AND 100 ANSWERS

“hello, everyone! this is taehee and i’m about to do 100 questions and 100 answers!”

“ah! i’m aware that taeyeon unnie did this but,” taehee chuckles nervously, “i haven’t watched it so this is really a new thing for me.” she dramatically gasps in front of the camera, bringing a hand to her forehead as if she were an actress in theater.

taehee snorts when she realizes what she had just did, leaning forward to conceal her embarrassed giggles. she hears the staff laughing along with her, and she looks up, making eye contact with every one of them. “i really don’t know why i did that,” she straightens herself up before pressing the back of her hands to her cheeks feeling how warm they got from seconds ago. “i have absolutely no idea what came over me. i’m so sorry.”

“100 questions seem like a lot though,” she tilts her head to the side, sucking in air through her teeth as she squints at the computer screen. “i might end up talking a lot- i won’t bore you, will i?” taehee looks up at the staff again, her bottom lip unconsciously jutting into a subtle pout.

her face breaks into a grin as the production crew all answer ‘no’ at the same time. they absolutely adored her. “woah, i really like your reactions,” taehee giggles, “okay, let’s start!”

“blood type? my blood type is o.”

a small chuckle escapes the girl, “do you guys want to know something funny?” her right hand goes to fumble with the watch on her left, it was the one her mum gave her. “my dad loved to play around, and so when i was younger, i thought my blood type was z.”

you’d hear the staff burst into laughter before taehee did, bringing a hand to cover her loud ones. “seriously! i think it was in fifth grade where i knew that wasn’t real,” she reasons out, hands making vague movements in the air as she spoke. titters were still heard behind the camera, causing taehee to shake her head at them, arms stretching out to resume typing.

“i remember my dentist laughing at me.”

taehee beams, “when we have the day off, it’s usually mark that would wake up first. he’d wake me, then jungwoo hyung, then the rest will just follow and we’d all have breakfast.”

she chuckles as she meets eyes with the staff. pumping her fist in the air, she cheers, “yes, i am very satisfied with my answers.”

“i consider myself quite sentimental, so,” she types, “anything that my love ones give me.”

she raises her left wrist, twisting it to show off the vintage watch that she wore almost everyday, “i’ll be honest. i don’t like wearing watches, but my mum gave this to me like eight years ago? it reminds me of her so i wear it everyday.”

“and then this one,” she then tugs on the bracelet hiding beneath the watch, rolling the thread between her fingers, before letting it go. “this one was given to me by jaemin last year... around new years? i think.”

"the members give me stuff like these for gifts. i have a lot more at home,” she beams, “they’re in this little box on our dresser.”

“i haven’t tested it but i know i can drink more than one bottle of soju,” taehee stops a smile from showing itself by biting her lip, prompting the producer to ask, “are you just saying that-”

“NO!,” she quickly protests. “i can definitely drink more than one. right? right, of course.” the production crew chuckled as she talked to herself, taehee’s dimples peeking out from the corners of her smile as she types, “more than one... for sure,” on the questionnaire.

“ohhh,” taehee hums. “we had this like, variety show. during the last episode, all 23 members were there and we were having fun even if we were just like eating and talking with each other. compared to the previous ones, we were all doing these fun activities and like an escape room? but i found the last one the most memorable to me.”

“at that time, i really felt like i was at home.” a small smile graces taehee’s features as she nods, “wasn’t that too cheesy? it’s sincere though.”

her eyes seem to scan the computer screen and she releases a short laugh, saying, “all my ‘happy’ answers have food in them. a way to a woman’s heart is through the stomach, truly.”

taehee cards her fingers through her hair, sighing. “trust doesn’t like, only come into play to see where a person’s loyalties lie, but it can also be like, ‘do you trust me enough to confide in me? do you trust me enough to let me help you?’ i want to be able to give that kind of trust to the people i love.”

taehee squeals, “i love this question!”

“chubs stays in our dorm sometimes, before she doesn’t get to spend that much time with us but now she can. so when i’m not in the dorms, mark and jungwoo hyung just watch her because she’s like really energetic and if you leave her alone, you just won’t know what she can do,” she laughs. “and then i come home and i’m really tired so i just jump in bed and lay down for a few moments, but chubs wants to play with me so she does whatever she can do to get me to sit up and play with her.”

“and then when she notices that i’m tired or something, she’s gonna stop and lay down near me or on my stomach, sometimes she’d pat me. i don’t know where she learned that but she does that,” she chuckles, and her voice tones down a pitch softer, eyes gazing off to the side as she toys with her necklace, “that’s when chubs is the cutest.” 

“i said too much, didn’t i?” taehee scrunches her nose at the camera, “i really love my dog.”

“it’s a dinosaur phone case. we had a video call fansign event a few months back, and one of my fans told me they call themselves dinozens,” she explains, chuckling, “but i guess jaemin knew that before me because he got this even earlier than that.”

she pointed to the picture that was stuck inside, adding, “this is the picture we took for the concert tickets. i kept some, see?”

“then i’d hangout with the members, eat miso soup, play with chubs,” she lists off, “tell the person i like that i love them.” the other people that were there with her bursts into laughter once again, taehee’s body shook with every one she tried to hold as she scrolls upwards, scanning the previous questions. “nam joohyuk, lee dongwook, park bogum,” she calls, her eyes playfully squinting towards the camera, “i love you.”

the crew laughs once again, this time at her innocence. “i’d have a house, then a car, and then there would be this space where chubs could play in. that’d be so nice.”

the girl goes back to her seat and hovers her fingers above the keyboard. “today’s tmi,” she reads, before sending a sweet smile towards the camera, “ah i woke up earlier than i usually do, so i went first and made 김치 볶음밥, with eggs, and then mark woke up and helped me, then we woke jungwoo hyung up.”

“yes, that’s how we had breakfast this morning.”

“so we finished answering 100 questions! YAYYY!” taehee cheers, her dimples poking out from the sides of her face. “i had so much fun answering this. it’d most definitely change the next time i do something similar but for now, these are my answers.”

she tucks her hair behind her ear and clasps her hands together, the bracelet on her wrist making its appearance again, “i think it’d be nice if the other members do this too; see how crazy we are,” she mumbles the last bit of her sentence, intentionally wanting that part to be heard. she raises her eyebrows cheekily and pursed her lips, shrugging. “i’m very sure i wrote nothing i would regret in the future so,” she raises both of her hands before her, waving them cutely, “this was 100 questions and 100 answers with me! bye bye!”

Itzy reaction to introducing their girlfriend to their parents for the first time

A/N: Thanks for requesting this! I was so happy to be able to write for another girl group beside the big 3 :)

Yeji

Yeji wasn’t too nervous right before the date that she had set up in order for you to meet her parents. Of course, she had some concerns, because it was never easy to introduce ones partner to their parents, but Yeji was confident. She had never made a terrible desicion in her life. She passed her trainee days with flying colors, debuted at a young age and was already known for being one of the best dancers in her generation. Her parents should, therefore, trust her that she also could make the right decision concerning her significant other.

“Don’t worry, jagi. My parents trust my judgement.”

She would say, holding your hand tight to transfer some confidence from her to you.

Lia

Lia wanted everything to be perfect. She loved her family and she loved you, so she wanted that you both left the best impression behind. He mother was her role model, so it was very important to her that she liked you. She actually started planning two weeks ahead. What you should wear, what her mother should cook and what topics better should be left out of a conversation. In the end, her family and you were almost more afraid of ruining Lia’s plan than meeting each other for the first time. When the day finally came Lia was actually surprisingly calm. She had thought of everything, so she didn’t know why anything should go wrong. With a smile plastering her face and your hand in hers, she was standing in front of your parent’s door.

“Don’t worry, Y/N. I fell for you, so they’re going to fall for you in no time.”

Ryujin

Ryujin was quite nervous. The whole dating thing in general made her heartrate fasten up. As smooth and savage as she could be with her members, you always managed to make her all shy and blushy. So meeting you and her parents, who she honored a lot, was a little much all at once. The both of you tried to cheer each other up,

“Ryujin, fighting! You got through a whole talent show and these are just your parents.”

“Right. And you’re perfect, Y/N, so they don’t even have a reason to nag.”

Maybe the both of you weren’t the smoothest couple, but you definitley were the strongest when you were together.

Chaeryeong

Chaeryeong was quite nervous. She wasn’t much younger than her sister and therefore, the first one to introduce their significant other. She felt like a lot of pressure was on her shoulders, because she didn’t have a role model that showed her how to best introduce their girlfriend. So when you were standing in front of the door, she was nervously shifting from one foot to the other. That was until her parents opened the door.

“Eomma! Appa!”

With the comfort of her home, her nevousness faded away, introducing you like it was already your fifth time meeting her parents. Of course she instantly had to introduce you to Chaeri and Chaeso as well, who were equally important family members.

Yuna

Meeting Yuna’s parents for the first time, wasn’t planned at all. You were actually lounging around in Itzy’s dorm with all the members, when Yeji suddenly spoke up,

“Didn’t you say, your parents would visit you today, Yuna?”

Shock would be written in your face, but Yuna would just nonchalantly answer,

“Oh yeah, that’s true. Y/N, I guess, you’ll be meeting my parents today.”

You didn’t even have the time to panic, because shortly after her parents were already in front of the door. But just like their daughter, they were very cheery and polite, so they included you into the family in no time.

If you were to send her a picture of you in it while she was out or doing schedules she couldn't keep a straight face, all smiles loving every second and every detail of your face. Chapter 18 - Father-Daughter Talks 

           Min Ja didn’t take to long to adjust to her new life. Before you knew it when you would go pick her up, she would be with San-Ha and groups of other friends, the group of them running around the playground by the school property while they waited for their parents to come and pick them up. A few little girls and boys, all in their uniforms as they happily laughed and chased each other around. You had to go through a lot of agreeing with Weong-Bin, but ultimately agreed that it would be a good idea to let him get the girls directly from school and daycare on Wednesdays, giving you more time to work and make your way home without rushing.

           It was actually a Wednesday today, and Weong-Bin had approached the park his daughter was playing at. He was sitting on a bench, watching as Min Ja swung from the monkey bars, flinging her legs in an attempt to get away from the little boy who was considered ‘it’ in their game of tag. She seemed to be having a good time and had no reason to rush her for now, Hyo Bin’s daycare was still open for a good portion of the time. As he watched his daughter, his mind was wandering.

           Min Ja only started school almost 2 weeks ago, so a majority of the school day was spent getting to understand how the school worked and getting to know each other. Min Ja, being the extrovert, she was, had no problem doing so, and she would be so excited to share her days with whoever picked her up. Weong-Bin was infuriated that he could only pick her up once a week. He was her father; he had a right to see his girls whenever he wanted. However, the courts didn’t see it that way, and he was stuck with only one weekday and every other weekend. Every other weekend?! He thought it was absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile Hoseok got to see them every day and then some when he wasn’t even their father! The thought just…every time he thought about it, it infuriated him. When he felt his blood pressure rising, he stood up from the bench he was sitting on.

           “Min Ja!” He called. His daughter looked up from the slide she was just about to go down. “Come on, it’s time to go. We need to go get your sister.” She pouted.

           “Five more minutes?” She called out.

           “No, I’m sorry. We need to get dinner!” Min Ja huffed, saying goodbye to her friends as she slid down the slide. She hurried over to her father, grabbing her backpack and slinging it over her shoulder.

           “Mr. Hobi lets me stay five more minutes.” She mumbled. Weong-Bin felt his blood rise even higher, but he took a deep breath to make sure it stayed level.

           “Well, I’m sorry honey, but I’m not Mr. Hobi. I have a job to do.” He said simply, taking her hand as they began walking down the street. Min Ja looked up at her dad as they walked. She wasn’t stupid, she could sense when he was irritated.

           “I’m sorry, Daddy…” she said softly. Weong-Bin glanced down at his daughter, sighing softly. He scooped her up into his arms.

           “Don’t be sorry. Daddy just has a lot on his mind.”

           “Like what?” Min Ja asked. It took him a moment to think of what he wanted to say, but he knew he should say something.

           “Min Ja, Daddy is going to talk to you like a big girl, okay?” Min Ja’s eyes showed a glimmer of sparkle. She loved being spoken to like a big kid. “Do you know that Daddy loves Mommy very much?” He saw her nod, and he smiled a bit. “Good. Because I do. I love your Mommy very, very much.”    

           “Then why don’t you live with us anymore?” she asked curiously.

           “Well, Daddy made a lot of mistakes for a long time.” He said. “So…Mommy told me I couldn’t live with you guys if I was going to make mistakes, it made us fight a lot.”

           “I know.” Min Ja nodded.

           “But Mommy said if I learned how to stop making so many mistakes, I could come to live with you and Hyo Bin again.” Her eyes went wide.

           “Really?” He nodded. “Then when will you come back?” Weong-Bin thought about his next words very carefully. What he was about to say could possibly turn Min Ja totally against you and Hoseok, breaking any semblance of control you had over your tiny family and give him the chance to make everything better…

           …Excellent.

           “Well, that’s the problem.” He began. “Mr. Hobi is over a lot, isn’t he?”

           “Yeah, but he doesn’t live there.” Min Ja said, attempting to correct her father.

           “I know that. But if Mr. Hobi is there, that means Mommy doesn’t want me to move back in, because Mr. Hobi is there instead of me. Do they always kiss and hug at home?” Min Ja looked confused.

           “Yeah…it’s really gross…” Her little nose scrunched up. Weong-Bin smiled.

           “Well, Mommy’s and Daddy’s kiss and hug.” Min Ja still looked a bit confused as to what she was being told.

           “But Mr. Hobi is really nice…” she said. “When he comes over, we play tea parties and watch lots of Pororo, and he even knows how to braid my hair.”

           “I know that, but that’s all the stuff I would be doing if I were living back with you and Mommy, right? Because you know how much I love you and Hyo Bin and Mommy.” Min Ja only nodded. “But if Mr. Hobi is there, then how am I supposed to live in the house? We can’t all sleep in Mommy’s bed, now can we?” The thought made Min Ja giggle a bit. “So, either Mr. Hobi is at the house, or I am. And I really want to be with you and Hyo Bin every day. Don’t you want that?”

           “Mhm…” she said softly.

           “Well, this is something that I want to tell you because you’re a big girl and I think you can handle it. Do you understand why I’m telling you this?”

           “…I think so.” She said. “But if you do come live with us, they can’t Mr. Hobi just come to visit like he does anyway?”

           “Well, it’s not always that simple.” He said. “But let’s stop talking about it for right now….” Min Ja nodded, resting her head on Weong-Bin’s shoulder as they arrived at the daycare.

           That night, Weong-Bin spent a lot of time continuing the conversation that he and Min Ja was having on the walk home. She was asking him questions, having him clarify things that she didn’t fully understand, being as she was only 5 years old. Weong-Bin told her about his relationship with you in college, and brought up memories from Min Ja and Hyo Bin’s infancy, trying his best to play those moments up as positive memories. He put her to bed that night, kissed her forehead, and mentally high-fived himself for his own brilliance as he went to the balcony for a smoke.

           “Min Ja-.” Weong-Bin began, kneeling down to fix her overall skirt. “Promise me that you’ll keep everything you and I talked about to yourself, for now, okay?” They were outside the school, the sound of children rushing into the building to meet their friends overpowering any other noises that may be in the local area.

           “…Why?”

           “Because it takes time for me to talk to your Mommy. Please trust me. You know how sad it makes me when you don’t trust me, right?” Min Ja nodded and felt her father kiss her forehead. “That’s my smart girl.”

           “Will you move back in soon, Daddy?” she asked.

           “I hope so.” He smiled. “But for now, head to class, and learn a lot, okay? I’ll see you next weekend.”

           “Okay. I love you, Daddy.” She waved to him before hurrying into the school building. Weong-Bin watched her as she met up with a few older kids she befriended, and stopped to say hello to a teacher. Once she was out of his sights, Weong-Bin stuffed his hand in his pocket and lifted up his briefcase. As he headed down the street towards his car that was parked nearby, he grinned to himself.

           “That’ll teach Hoseok to fuck with my family.” He said, slipping into his car and driving off.

           Min Ja had what her father had told her in her mind the entire school day. It was making her unable to focus because she was trying to understand what her dad was trying to say to her. Was Mr. Hobi a bad person? He didn’t seem like it. If anything, he was really nice. He and you never fought, and if you did, one of you was quick to apologize to the other. He doted on her and her sister every time he was there, which was pretty much every day now. He seemed so wonderful. But, if he was there, kissing and hugging you, would her Daddy ever come back to live with them? She wanted him to…didn’t she?

           Before she had known it, Min Ja’s school day had ended just as soon as it began. San-Ha and her friends walked with and ban of fifth-grade boys to the playground nearby to play. While they all went on their way to watch the fifth graders play with some cool spinning tops, Min Ja crouched herself down by the sandbox, grabbing a stick as she began to create something in the sand. It felt like her head was beating like a loud drum, or the loud music Yuna plays when she babysits. She didn’t know what was going on with her head, but it was hurting her.

           “Hey!” She heard a high-pitched voice call, pulling her from her thoughts. Looking up, she saw Hoseok crouch in front of her. He was beaming. “What are you making?” Min Ja glanced down, seeing a bunch of scribbles and piles in the sand that didn’t really stand out as anything in particular.

           “…I don’t know.” She said.

           “Oh, artsy.” Hoseok smiled. “Mommy has to work a little later than usual, so she told me to pick up you and Hyo Bin. Okay?” Min Ja took a good look at Hoseok as he crouched in front of her smiling like he always did. She was trying to look at him and think about what her Dad had told her at the same time, to see if something clicked in her head. It didn’t. Hoseok must have noticed she hadn’t spoken yet, and his smile turned into a frown. “Min Ja? Is everything okay?”

           “…Yes…” she said softly.

           “You look tired.” He smiled. “How about we go home and take a nap, yeah?” He stood up, sticking his hand out to her.

           “…I don’t like naps.” She said, standing up and taking his hand. He began leading her down the street. The way the two of them talked to each other was normal, just like always. Hoseok asked about school, she told him whatever she could remember, and he would laugh. They managed to pick up Hyo Bin and head back to the apartment. Min Ja saw that Hoseok pulled out his own key. When did he get that? She thought to herself, the door sliding open to allow entry into the apartment. She stepped inside, taking off her shoes before tossing her backpack on the floor beside the door. She watched Hoseok setting Hyo Bin next to the coffee table. He saw Min Ja standing there too, and he smiled.

           “You okay, Min Ja?”

           “Yea, I’m okay.” She said. “I’m tired…”

           “Then go take a nap. I’ll be here when you wake up. Do you need any help?”

           “Uhm…no, I don’t think I do.”

           “Okay.” He smiled. Min Ja hurried into her room and closed the door behind her. Hoseok tilted his head. He wasn’t oblivious, he could tell something was off about her. “I wonder if it was a rough day at school. What do you think, Hyo Bin?” he asked, glancing at the two-year-old who was scribbling all over one of the pages.

           “Uhhhh…yeah.” She said, looking up at him. He smiled as they began to color together.

           Min Ja ended up falling asleep for about an hour before you came to wake her up. You had gotten home about 45 minutes after the girls did, and Hoseok had told you that Min Ja seemed a bit lethargic.

           “God, I hope you’re not getting sick.” You whispered to yourself as you knelt down beside your daughter’s bed. Attempting not to wake her up yet, you stealthily felt her forehead. There was no fever, thank god. “Min Ja…” you cooed gently, hearing her begin to stir. “Honey, wake up. You must be nice and refreshed now.” When Min Ja opened her eyes, she rolled over to look at you. “Hi, honey.” She smiled happily.

           “Hi, Mommy.” She said.

           “What’s wrong? Hobi said you looked really tired today. Are you feeling well?” She nodded. “Okay. Are you ready to get up now? Hobi and Hyo Bin are outside colorings.”

           “…I have a coloring picture for school.” She said. “I need to draw a picture of my family.” You smiled happily.

           “That sounds like a lot of fun. Why don’t you go start that?”

           “Okay…” she got up, and that was when you noticed she was still in her school clothes.

           “Let’s get you into some casual clothes first, huh?” you asked.

           Once Min Ja was changed, you and she entered the living room again. Hoseok had Hyo Bin on his lap, the duo happily coloring on a big white piece of paper.        

           “What’s that?” he asked her curiously, pointing to what she was drawing.

           “A cat.” She said, looking up at big. “A big, big cat.”

           “Ooooo, very nice.” When heard footsteps, he looked up and saw the two of you approach. “Hi, Min Ja~. Do you feel better after your nap?”

           “Yeah. I need to take a picture of my family for school, can I use your crayons?”

           “Of course, you can.” He said happily. Min Ja took a seat next to him, taking a piece of paper, and a black crayon, before getting to work with her artwork. Hoseok watched her for a moment, smiling happily.

           “How about I make something good for dinner? Sweet and sour pork?” You suggested.

           “Yeah!” Min Ja said, looking over at you. The sparkle in her eyes made you feel at ease, knowing that whatever had her off balance would only be a temporary obstacle for her. “And rice and clear broth soup! And vegetable stir fry!”

           “Aaaaaah, vegetable stir fry sounds so good!” Hoseok agreed.

           “Okay, I’ll get to work.” You said, heading into the kitchen.

           The next little bit of time was relatively silent since you were cooking and Hoseok was coloring with the girls. Min Ja had seemed to slowly come back to her usual self, Hoseok’s infectious happiness mostly likely being the cause by pulling her enthusiasm out of her tiny body and into existence again. She was cheering and coloring, sharing her thought process with Hoseok as she drew her, you and Hyo Bin in front of the apartment.

           “That’s supposed to be Hyo Bin in Mommy’s arms.” She pointed out as she finished up the little bundle with a blurry smiley face inside of it that was in your stick arms. “I’m standing next to them. See, that’s my school clothes.”

           “That looks so good.” He smiled. Min Ja looked at the rest of the paper and leaned forward to continue her drawing. Hoseok smiled as he watched her, his hand running through Hyo Bin’s hair. He was content just watching these girls.

           The silent, however, was unfortunately ended by your shouting in annoyance, making the three people at the coffee table look up at you.

           “What’s wrong?” Hoseok asked, setting Hyo Bin to his side. Just as he was about to get up, you poked your head out from behind the opened refrigerator door.

           “I forgot we ran out of rice! I meant to go grocery shopping. Auuuugh.” You groaned, closing the door a bit too harshly.

           “Awww, I want rice.” Min Ja pouted. When you saw this, you sighed.

           “I can run to the store and grab some.” You suggested. “Hobi, do you mind watching them? It’ll only be a few minutes.”

           “Not a problem. We’ll be here.” You scurried to grab your bag and slide your shoes on at the door. “See you soon~.”

           “Bye-Bye, Mama!” Hyo Bin called. You waved to your girls before hurrying out of the house and down to the local market. Hoseok looked back at the girls, who were already back to focusing on their coloring.

           “Okay! I’m done!” Min Ja said, setting her finally crayon down. Hoseok looked up from his spot. His legs were starting to go numb sitting cross-legged with a toddler back on his lap. So, he set Hyo Bin to his side again, before scooting next to Min Ja and putting himself in a kneeling position.

           “What did you make? Let me see.”

           “Okay Uhm…” she motioned to the picture. “That’s me, and Hyo Bin, and Mommy.” Then, she moved to the other side of the paper. “Over here…over here is Daddy…” Hoseok looked over at her. “In his house.” He could see the behavior she was showing this afternoon after school was beginning to take over again. “Because he doesn’t live here.” Hoseok simply put a hand on her head, and she looked up at him.

           “Are you okay, Min Ja?” he asked curiously. “Did something happen at school?”

           “No.” She assured.

           “You seem sad.” He looked at the picture she made of Weong-Bin, standing in front of his purple house with his little briefcase. He looked back at Min Ja, who had picked up another crayon and was coloring in a piece of the sun she had missed before. “Do you wish you could see your Dad more?” he asked. Min Ja immediately thought about what she and her dad talked about yesterday.

Promise me that you’ll keep everything you and I talked about to yourself, for now, okay?

           It It makes me sad when you don’t trust me.

           “Yeah…” she finally said. Hoseok smiled.

           “Well, I’m sure he thinks about you every day even if he doesn’t see you. Just like your mom and I think about you when we don’t see you.”

           “You think about us too?” Min Ja asked curiously. Hoseok blinked.

           “Of course, I do! I know I’m not your dad, but you and Hyo Bin mean a lot to me~. I love you both very much.” Min Ja felt her eyes water. She quickly stood up, walking into Hoseok’s arms and wrapping her arms around his neck. “Hm? Min Ja…what’s wrong?” he asked, though he took her into his arms without hesitation. Hyo Bin even glanced up when she heard Min Ja’s muffled sniffles. She nuzzled into his neck and he smiled, rubbing her back. She wasn’t speaking to him, but he didn’t really expect her too. He just held her close and she cry out whatever emotions she was feeling today, hoping that would make her feel a lot better.

           “I’m back with the rice! And I got a nice little dessert for tonight, too.” You called as you stepped into the apartment. Entering the living room, you saw that Min Ja still latched tightly into Hoseok’s arms. She was back to coloring, but she was the one now in his lap, his hands running through her hair. Hyo Bin was standing beside them, coloring as she remained blissfully unaware of the situation.

           “Welcome back~.” Hoseok hummed, glancing over to you. “What snack did you buy?”

           “It’s a surprise.” You grinned. Like a child, Hoseok pouted and whined. “Oh stop.” As you walked past, you noticed Min Ja didn’t look up from her paper to greet you. Your head tilted, curious as to what had her mind so focused. It was then you noticed her eyes were red and slightly puffy. Her cheeks looked as if she had been crying. It concerned you, but at the same time, you didn’t want to be too paranoid about it. Maybe she just fought with Hyo Bin over a crayon, and it was a battle she ended up losing. Glancing at Hoseok, he only offered you a kind smile in response. He could tell you were wondering what was wrong, and he silently made sure to keep you at ease for now. With that, you returned to the kitchen and resumed making dinner.

           Dinner came and went without a fuss, like always, but you expected bath time and bedtime to play out like always, chaotic. Kids fussing, making messes, begging to stay up later. However, this time, it didn’t happen. Hyo Bin went down easy, and Min Ja still seemed in her off state, so when you told her the story had ended, she closed her eyes and nestled her head into your lap. As you ran your hand through your hair, you smiled down at her.

           “I’m sorry, you had a rough day today, Min Ja.” you said softly. “Is there anything you want to talk about before bedtime?”

           “No.” She assured. “There’s not.”

           “Okay. Well, I hope you have a better today tomorrow.” You said, kissing her hair. Slowly, you fixed her position in bed and handed her stuffed animal to her. “Goodnight, Min Ja.”

           “Goodnight, Mommy. Goodnight, Mr. Hobi…” she said. Hoseok smiled from beside you.

           “Goodnight, Min Ja. I’ll see you in the morning, okay?” She nodded, watching the both of you leave the room and close the door behind you. As she lied in the quiet room, the only sound coming from Hyo Bin’s snoring, she clutched her stuffed animal, Bora, tightly in her arms. All she wanted to do was wake up from his bad dream, already.

           “What’s wrong with Min Ja today? Did she ever end up telling you?” You asked Hoseok curiously as you sat on the bed. Hoseok tossed his shirt into the hamper before plopping himself down beside her.

           “I think she’s sad she doesn’t get to see her Dad too much.” He explained as he watched you slip into your pajamas. “I tried to make her feel better, but I don’t think it worked.”

           “Well, I appreciate it. But that’s something Weong-Bin needs to talk to her about. I’ll have to call him tomorrow, I guess.” You groaned at the thought alone, tugging the covers over you. “Are you sure you’re okay staying tonight?”

           “Of course. I think most of my stuff if here by this point anyway.” Hoseok smiled, laying himself in bed beside you. You nuzzled into your pillow and chuckled.

           “Then you should just move in…” you suggested. Hoseok shrugged.

           “In time, I guess.” He said. “I don’t want to cause any riffs, especially if Min Ja’s going through a separation phase.” A small smile formed on your lips.

           “See, you even sound more like a parent than I do now.” Hoseok laughed a bit as you rolled over to turn off the light. “Alright, go to sleep. Goodnight.” You hummed. Hoseok rolled over, propping himself above you really quickly and turning on the light. You glanced up at him, and he looked a bit surprised.

           “Uh…hello?” He puckered her lips cutely. “Aren’t you forgetting something? Something very important?” You couldn’t help but laugh, giving him a quick kiss. You saw his adorable heart-shaped smile as he closed the light once again and plopped down beside you. “Goodnight~.” He finally hummed.

           The next morning was a nice one. The girls got up, you got them dressed, Hoseok made some pancakes for everyone. Min Ja woke up in a much better mood than yesterday, resting seemed to definitely help her spirits improve after the rollercoaster of emotions she was feeling.

           “Mommy, I’m going to share my picture with my whole class!” She said happily as she watched you carefully roll the picture up and put it in her bag.

           “That’s wonderful.” You said to her. “I’m sure they’ll love it! It seems you added pretty much everyone!” Min Ja smiled happily as he saw Hoseok approach with Hyo Bin in his arms, who was chewing on a plain pancake piece.

           “Are we ready to go?” He asked curiously. Min Ja nodded and grabbed her bag as the lot of you headed out the door.

           When you got to the school, you saw So-Hee, her husband, and San-Ha, by the front gate. Min Ja caught notice too as they got closer, and she saw San-Ha hugging her father goodbye. He held her close, promising to pick her up after school, and gave her a big kiss on the cheek, making his daughter beam in delight. Min Ja waited for her to be done so they could go into school together. That was when Hoseok caught her attention and knelt down beside her.

           “How about I come to pick you up again today after school, and we go get something to eat? Something you want to get.”

           “Really?” she asked.

           “Of course. It’ll be fun, just the two of us, okay?” Min Ja nodded.

           “Okay!” She said happily, quickly hugging him tightly. Hoseok smiled as he hugged her back.

           Once Min Ja got into her classroom, she sat at her desk. San-Ha was talking to a few other kids, but Min Ja immediately pulled out her picture and opened it, displaying what it looked like on her desk. As few other kids came in and did the same since this was going to be the first thing that they did when class started. Before the bell rang, Min Ja grabbed her little pencil case from her bag, pulled out her crayons, and quickly made sure to add a certain heart-smiled individual standing right beside her into her family portrait.

“Gotta Go” - Chungha

Is this a song list without this song? No. Chung Ha really reached iconic levels with this one. I also know the full choreo, it’s simple but still very intricate and beautiful. Nice one Chungha. 

“No” - CLC

Definitely in the top 10. I love No with my whole chest. CLC have been in my top girl groups for a long time and this song is everything. My mom even knows the lyrics for how much I play it. I also love the album.

“Piri” - Dreamcatcher 

This song really put Dreamcatcher more on the map for me. I always liked them but this one sparked my interest more. Another in my top 10. Should have been their first win. 

“Senorita” - (G)i-dle

First (G)i-dle song I really love. I know a lot of people don’t like it but I have had the chorus stuck in my head multiple times and the “vu vu vu vuvu vu vu vuvu” part is great to annoy your friends with.

“Dalla Dalla” - Itzy 

An iconic debut, but not my favorite of this year. Dalla Dalla is incredibly iconic and my non kpop listening friends like it.

“Spring” - Bom 

The queen’s return. She’s beautiful, she’s stunning, she’s spring and she’s back. Park Bom is a beautiful strong woman and we love her in this household. 

“Bon Bon Chocolat” - Everglow

MY FAVORITE FEMALE DEBUT THIS YEAR. I LOVE EVERGLOW AND STILL BOP TO THIS DAILY. One of my favorite choreographies and I love it. Top 10 for sure. 

“Woowa” - DIA

I hated this song at first lmao. But now I love it. The choreo is so fun and the beat makes me want to jump around. One of my shower songs. 

April 

“Violeta” - Iz*one

Amazing video, choreo and song. I hope Iz*one return fast and stronger than ever. I miss Nako. 

“Kill this love” - Blackpink

Another song I didn’t like at first. But it fastly grew on me. I love Lisa and Jennie’s part after the first chorus. Also the styling in the main dance scene is *chef’s kiss* 

“Fancy” - Twice 

My grandma likes this song and so do I therefore, on the list. Fancy is iconic and the girls of Twice seem to constantly be outdoing themselves.

“The fifth season” - Oh My Girl

Oh My Girl are just made of magic aren’t they? This song is so sweet and beautiful omg. Like Seunghee’s vocals are mesmerizing and stunning. 

“Picky Picky” - Weki Meki 

This song is so much fun! I love the mv aesthetic and the song is just a total bop. The choreo is fun and all the girls of Weki Meki are so talented and beautiful. 

“Me & You” - EXID

EXID are queens, I love them so much and the news of Hani and Jeonghwa leaving the company made my heart drop out of my ass. But they are still in EXID and that’s a relief and I was worried for a sec. But this song is fun, the choreo is fun and the album is amazing. I love EXID. Top 10. 

“Thinkin’ bout you” - Katie

No gif for the song sadly

But Katie has such a soothing voice and I really like this song and the aesthetic. 

“No One (Ft. B.I)” - Lee Hi

The song before the shit hit the fan so to speak. I love this song more than anything. I think it’s nice to hear Lee Hi’s voice like this.

“Fun!” - Fromis_9 

FUN. Look this song can be annoying if you aren’t in the mood but it’s also so FUN. Anyways Fromis_9 are rookies to look out for. I adore them. 

“Snapping.” - Chung Ha

Snapping is also iconic and I love this song so much. Chungha is so stunning and beautiful. Also choreo queen. 

“Goblin” - Sulli 

This song produced one of my favorite lyrics. “Don’t be afraid. I just want to tell you hi.” I’m going to be honest, I am not a big f(x) stan and didn’t really know Sulli before this song. But I really loved this song when I saw it for the first time. Rest well beautiful peach ♥ Top 10

Another one of the top 10. Have I mentioned I love Everglow? This song is so intense and I love the choreography. Everglow are choreography queens.

“Workaholic” - Bolbbalgan4

Workaholic is such a relatable song. I like this song  alot and the mv is hysterical and also relatable. I really like Bol4 ♥

“Deja Vu” - Dreamcatcher

I have raved about this song. I ordered the Dreamcatcher album for this. I love it with everything in me. The story and the song I- why haven’t Dreamcatcher won an award. Top 10 and maybe #1. 

“Feel Special” - Twice 

A song that I can bop to and cry to, my favorite type of song. Twice have become one of my favorite girl groups of all time this year and I have a deep admiration for them, especially knowing the shit they go through. Top 10

“Re_Vive.”- Brown Eyed Girls

Heck yes, I know this just a a revival album. But it’s so good. The mv’s and the songs are amazing, the vocals and rap are god tier. 

“Spark” - Taeyeon 

Another one for the top 10. I adore Taeyeon and this song is beautiful and the album is amazing. Taeyeon is amazing and such a strong woman.

“Flower Shower” - Hyuna 

I missed Hyuna so much. It’s so refreshing to me to see Hyuna like this. her true self. She looks so happy and beautiful and I love it. top 10. 

“Dumb” - Bvndit

I wasn’t really impressed by this song at first and now I love it? It’s so fun and definitely a mood. 

“Hip” - Mamamoo

I’m gonna be honest. This is my least favorite Mamamoo song. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. Mamamoo bring the flavor and are so insanely talented. None of their songs are bad. 

“Come see me” - AOA

Yeehaw cowboys and cowgirls. AOA made the comeback we all needed and they are better than ever. I was worried because of the missing members but that was no reason but they proved to be still superior.

“Psycho” - Red Velvet

I have one question, WHAT THE HELL WERE ZIMZALABIM AND UMPAH UMPA WHEN THEY HAD THIS UP THEIR SLEEVE. I really like Red Velvet and the last 2 comebacks had been thoroughly disappointing in my opinion (my opinion isn’t law, don’t get offended) Psycho is so good, it’s amazing I adore it.

La Squadra favourite K-pop girl group present and now.

 Risotto loved the legendary K-pop girl group 2ne1, he admired every comeback and despite their scandals, he loved them. He even followed CL and Park Bom’s solo songs and he hopes that they are both doing well. He loved them from their debut song right to their last song before disbanding. When they disbanded, he was heartbroken and he couldn’t believe that they disbanded because they seemed so talented to him. He didn’t believe that he could come across a talented group like them. But he was wrong when he discovered a girl group with a dark and rock concept. He was impressed and he found out that they were called Dreamcatcher. He loved their dark and rock concepts in their videos. He found them pretty talented and he stanned them after that. He stans Dami and Jiu.

Prosciutto loves Mamamoo as he likes how all of them are a full packet idol in vocal, visual and dance. They caught his eye during their Piano man era, and he loved the classy concept they started out with. He still loves all of the concepts they tried ranging from classy and jazzy music like Piano man, a passionate pop balled like Paint me to a rap song like Sleep in the car. He loved all of their concepts. He liked how they acted carefreely and even like crackheads not seeming to care what others think. He loves all of the members equally, but he is a Solar stan.

· Formaggio wasn’t the sort of guy to like girl groups since he found most K-pop girl groups to be too girly for him. But he was blown away by Exid when he discovered their music video of Ah Yeah since it seemed to have a powerful meaning about the unfair stereotypes and censorships in South Korea. He likes how all of them were very talented and he supported them ever since.

  Illuso loves Red Velvet, at first, he found their debut rushed and poorly done as they first debuted as four members before having their fifth member added a few months. He likes how they went from a rushed rookie group to one of the most loved girl groups in South Korea. His most favourite songs are peek-a-boo, Russian Roulette and Bad Boy. He sometimes can’t help but singing the chorus to peek-a-boo to himself as it is so catchy.

Melone loved Blackpink as he was impressed by their debut song Boombayah. But he stopped stanning them after seeing how toxic blinks (blackpink fans) were and how they often took part in the most K-pop fan wars. They would even pit against each other if another fan stanned a different member from them. Which is crazy as he likes all of the members as he finds them to be beautiful and talented women. He disliked YG their own company for holding them back and not letting them have as many comebacks. He still stans them but the group he focuses his attention on is ITZY as he likes their concepts of not caring what people thought of you and he loves their song ICY.

Ghiaccio swears he doesn’t like Kpop but he loves Oh my girl as their fairy tail concepts like Windy day is just calming and beautiful to him. Their pretty MVs are just perfect to him. He stanned them when they were an eight-member group with Jine and he hopes that she is doing well. His most favourite member is Yooa as her sweet and beautiful voice just stolen this ice man’s heart. He keeps that he likes OMG a secret and he will often lie about what sort of music he listens to.

Pesci is a Loona stan, after seeing their beautiful and powerful music video Butterfly. He stanned them after that and he discovered their company’s unique way of debuting the members which were giving them a solo song each month. His most favourite member is Chuu after listening to her solo songs Heart attack and he likes her voice a lot. He still struggles to memorise all of the twelve member names though but he will get there.

Sorbet and Gelato both love Girl Generation, they both loved their debut song into the new world a lot. Sorbet stans Jessica while Gelato stans Taeyeon. They hope that all of the members are doing well today.
