A list of the Batfamily members and the kpop groups they’d stan, that no one asked for :3

Dick: BTS, BlackPink- self explanatory. He’s an oldie, he likes the classics, he was a casual listener and got really into them once they sent waves through the kpop industry. He has a secret stash of PCs. Edit: Steph wanted to get him into the newer generation of kpop and introduced him to P1Harmony. (Pretty Boy was basically written for him).

Jason: Xdinary Heroes, IU — I can’t see Jason as a kpop stan, but if I’d have to choose a group then it’ll be Xdinary Heroes. They’ve got the punk down which I think he’d like. Steph definitely got him into them, he didn’t search on his own. He listens to their music but doesn’t go collecting their albums for the inclusions. HOWEVER, this led to Jason looking for someone more to his tastes…IU— Jason found IU and loves her music, her soft voice and meaningful lyrics really touch his heart and being the emotional boy that he is, he’s now obsessed.

Tim: TXT, Enhypen, Zerobaseone, Itzy — TXT because they’re funny and silly and Tim just gives off txt vibes I can’t explain. Enhypen because he’s like their darker concepts. Zb1 because there’s no way they’re straight T_T. /hj Their music is so good and catchy, he’d really like it,..and their outfits are always top tier. Itzy because they’re big on empowerment and self love whilst also ranging to edgier and mature themes and styles all of which Tim would love. he could use some self love motivation.

Steph: Nct is her ult, then Seventeen, TXT, Enhypen, Nmixx, New Jeans, (G)I-dle — She is a MASSIVE kpop girlie. I could go on. She likes a lot of groups but she doesn’t just put on random songs, she knows who she likes and why, and she appreciates each member. She geeks (and screams) over PCs and unboxes albums with Dick, Duke, Cass and Tim. Steph’s stack of PCs are taller than her arm. She’s a quick learner and can learn the dance choreo to a song quickly, often doing it with Cass or one of the other batfamily members and putting on her social media. It ALWAYS gets reposted by the artist.

Cass: Nct Dream, Stray Kids, Red Velvet, Big Ocean— Steph introduced her to these groups hoping she’d like them and so far she does. Nct dream warms her heart and they’re very cool. Stray kids remind her that she’s not alone + amazing concepts. And Red velvet have lovely visuals. Big Ocean, Steph introduced to her when she was new to the manor and starting to communicate in sign language. She was drawn to Big Ocean’s music and felt a deep connection with the way they communicated their music through sign language. All of the groups dancing mesmerizes her, and she studies them closely.

Duke: &Team, BigBang, Lesserafim— &Team are cinnamon rolls just like Duke and they’re chaotic just like him too (Steph should introduce him to Seventeen for ultimate chaos). BigBang/ G-Dragon because his fashion sense is crazy and Duke is a fashion icon in my head so I think he’d get into BigBang’s music through G-dragons fashion. Lesserafim because they’re badass and I think Duke would like their music and they’re cutiepies.

Damian: BTS, BigBang— Damian is a little old fashioned, he likes the old stuff. He likes having another thing to talk about with Dick. He doesn’t collect albums or PCs but the others bought him an old album and he was very happy about it

Babs: Got7, Riize — A litttle more emo than the other groups. Got7 because its older gen. Riize because they have darker concepts that she’d really like with very cool and unique styles, ranging from pop to ballads, with angst too.

Bruce: PSY— Bruce is olddd, all he knows is “oppa Gangnam” and says “Of course I know Korean popular music!!” after Steph asks if he likes Kpop.

Alfred: Steph’s taste in music because it’s so loud through her headphones, Alfred can hear it anyway.

pity is a big theme here, a lot of people will feel bad for you and think you were given the short end of the stick in some way.

These dorks! Stray Kids. I also love BTS and Block B. I haven't gotten super into girl groups yet, but I am inching my way with Itzy, Twice, and Mamamoo! If people have song recommendations please let me know!

❣ Which member sparked your interest first?

This artsy motherfucker. I saw a couple tiktok edits of this man and I needed to know why an anime character had come to life. Then I found out about SKZ, read some fanfiction, and by the time I looked up Chan had stolen me and I now am holding a wolfchan. Like you have to understand, I study art and dance and all of this stuff, I am going to school to work in museums, like this is my shtick! HE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON I'VE EVER SEEN!! AND I'VE MET TOM HIDDLESTON

❣ Who was your first bias?

For stray kids its Chan, I am the mom friend, he is the dad friend and together we make a happy family.

LOOK AT SASSY PANTS THINKING HES SO COOL! I-its chan guys. Im basic bitch I know. BUT LISTEN Ey ey ey, we all need a 5'7 man to tell us he thinks we're pretty. Even though he embodies being 6'1.

❣ What makes them your bias?

It is hard for me to really describe why. Not just because I picked him, or I like him the most, but being a fan of Stray Kids, meeting the people I have, all of the members but especially Chan make me want to be better. I want to be able to go up to them and say "Because of you and your inspiration, I now have achieved X" I want to participate in life and do things again. I want to go to therapy, I want to work out again and fight my eating disorder. I am creating art, and writing songs???? I've never done that before and they aren't awful! Life is brighter because Stray Kids and Chan are in it. I look at the moon every night and think of something Jin (bts) said, that its the same moon and look at it and think of him. Just these little reminders that while the world seems to feel so big and scary and nothing is going right, you are a speck on a floating rock in space. Just like them.

Also Chan says he doesn't love himself, he doesn't think hes attractive. So it makes me feel validated that maybe I'm not as ugly as I think I look??? Because if hes as prince charming as he is maybe im not as bad looking as I think I do?

❣ Who is your bias wrecker?

Uhhh all of them????? There isn't a wreck-ER its you are wrecked by all of them! It was Hyunjin for a while, now I think it's Minho??? It switches on the daily honestly??? I will take anything and anyone of them.

❣ Which member(s) are you currently obsessing over that aren't your bias/bias wrecker?

Felix/Han I love me some soft boys. Also I am 5'9, plus size, and very no-nonsense. The idea of these tiny men getting me to....do things...and uh trying to get me flustered just- yea does good for the soul. I love like reverse expectation fics? Like the big tall scary one is the subby sweet sunshine gf type and the tiny brightly colored talkative one is the super scary dominate teasing one. Its great.

❣ When did you first discover this group?

Last fall, I had just gotten out of a situationship and the band that brought me to it wasn't putting out music and I wanted to find joy again so I tried to find what I was into prior to rock music and that was kpop. Looked up groups that were popular, got back into BTS and then Stray Kids were in my recommended and the rest is history

❣ Have you ever been to one of their concerts?

No! But if they come to Washington you know I will be there. I am going to see Enhypen this month with a friend of mine though! First kpop experience

HAPPY 10TH BURSTDAY TO SEVENTEEN! While I am a bit salty that this song only had two choruses (followed by a soft outro), I'm here to celebrate their 10th anniversary with them! Thirteen isn't always an unlucky number. I certainly didn't expect them to choose a dark club concept, but they slayed!

Not sure if "Blitz Club" is a reference to anything in real life, other than the title track being called "THUNDER."

I love seeing pay phone booths! They're aesthetic!

Does the first verse remind anyone of ITZY's "DALLA DALLA"?

There's also a biker/racer subplot, too?! Sorry, but I prefer Joshua's hair & outfit over Wonwoo's.

When Mingyu scrunched his nose at the CCTV camera, the men behind him look like they're tired of his shenanigans. XD

Something about Seungkwan's beige/khaki outfit makes him look like a disco teddy bear. (he later wears a leather jacket & jeans)

You can't see SC's long hair unless you turn up the brightness (not sure if this scene was filmed/edited like that on purpose).

I've been obsessed with the post-chorus & whistling tune ever since the 2nd MV teaser came out!

Did I just see Doctor Chwe push Patient Vernon to death?

I have no idea how some of the clubbers have entirely blue or entirely green skin. Then some of the scenes are green like night vision goggles. It's mind-boggling!

When Woozi is on the operating table (at the end), his jacket says "榴彈" which roughly translates to "grenade." 

After DK's outro, the rest of the MV looks like a horror game (all eyes on Wonwoo >_>).

Overview of the group B-sides:

"HBD": Burstday anthem—enough said! This song feels like 2-3 in one because of all the transitions, but the first part sounds like an anime opening song! (or the ending song in reverse cases)

"Bad Influence": [entirely in English] A lot of people complained that this is "good influence" because all curse words have been censored. The explicit (original) version will have to be released separately as a digital single. The main reason the clean version sucks is due to the cursing lyrics being replaced with awkward silence instead of other acceptable English words. (someone called it "fill in the blank" XD) Overall, this is a great song with plenty of raw emotions! I actually had no idea this was an ad song for LV; this is the closest to the original version.

Overview of the solo songs in age order:

Seungcheol's "Jungle": Whether he's rapping about his decade-long experience of dealing with 12 chaotic younger members or protecting them from the negativity of the K-pop industry, you know SC wouldn't trade this for anything else. The opening reminded me of "Fire"! I like how this is the last song (track #16) because when you're done listening, the last thing you hear is SC's voice, which subtly reminds you to never mess with the leader.

Jeonghan's "Coincidence (Chance)": Hear me out first—there is no such thing as coincidences in this world, only the inevitable. I actually listened to this song last after SC's solo. This has typical OST vibes to it, & (needless to say) I like this more than "Beautiful Monster". I'm just salty that there's only one verse before a(n unconventional) bridge before the final/second chorus.

Joshua's "Fortunate Change": Is this really his first solo after 10+ years?! And it has both Korean & English lyrics?! Like everyone else said, this song is super dreamy, romantic, & reminds me of Soyou/Junggigo's "Some".

Junhui's "Gemini": BTW, that's his star sign! I'm getting celestial, fantasy drama OST vibes from this song (my first thought was Taeyeon's "INVU"). 

Hoshi's "Damage": The first line literally tricked EVERYONE into saying "Woozi Baby." (refer to "96ers") You decide whether you want this song or "Spider" or both, but "Damage" is giving me "broken glass" vibes (IYKYK) mainly because of "master PIECES."

Wonwoo's "99.9%": This is nothing like "Leftover (Wastebasket)"! Another OST vibe song... But doesn't this also sound like something students would perform during a talent show? (maybe because of the piano)

Woozi's "Destiny (Fate)": Apparently, this is the longest song on the album at 4:21! (although the outro was pretty long) This might sound cheesy, but fate brought the original 17 lineup together, but destiny kept the final 13 together.

DK's "Happy Virus": I had no idea he was spoiling his solo song's title at Caratland 2025, especially since he covered DAY6's "HAPPY" a while back. This qualifies as a graduation song!

Mingyu's "Shake It Off": Samuel helped with writing this song! "Shake It Off" deserves to repeat at a club or runway. I'm not sure if my audio is bad, but it was difficult to hear Mingyu's voice above the instrumental. @_@

Minghao's "Skyfall": This is Orbit's younger brother! If anyone wants to forget about daytime worries & drive to nowhere at this, then this song is a great companion! (especially the chorus)

Seungkwan's "Raindrops": You can always trust Mr. Boo's voice to heal people! This also qualifies as a graduation song! And just imagine if there was rain during the graduation ceremony... (that kind of happened with me) Your tears will blend in with the rain. :')

Vernon's "Shining Star": A rock song with both Korean & English lyrics?! Someone said Vernon's like an emo high school student T^T (which is quite sad you if you know the real story while he was still a minor). But now he's free to express himself!

Dino's "Trigger": Why is maknae's solo song the shortest in the whole album at 2:30?! Someone misheard "trigger" as "dream girl," which gave me & other people a good laugh. XD

The fanchant actually makes a great bridge/pre-outro! We got robbed!
