This is not an isolated incident. UNRWA and other humanitarian groups have been stopped by Netanyahu. Six World Central Kitchen aid workers and one Palestinian driver were killed by an Israeli airstrike in this ongoing slaughter and politically planned famine of innocent civilians in Gaza. WCK with their trucks labeled, coordinated their deliveries with the Israeli military’s awareness and still they were targeted. These aid workers and that driver had families, one pictured with his wife and baby, had dual Canadian/American citizenship. They were compassionate and cared about the 2 Million displaced refugees who are starving as famine is being used as a means for annihilation. President Biden continues to reward Netanyahu’s administration for its war crimes with billions of dollars in weapons transfers including one transfer this past week worth 2.5 Billion. Biden and AIPAC sponsored Corporate Democrats and Republicans in office take Israeli lobby money which also enriches U.S. military defense contractors. According to Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, over 15,000 children have been brutally bombed, starved, or shot to death. Innocent men and women have been tortured, lost their homes either to endless brutal bombardments, or violent religious fundamentalists Israeli settlers who are sponsored by Netanyahu’s far right authoritarian government. All adult males according to Netanyahu are “terrorist” or labeled “terrorist” after death. These Palestinians are 2 Million displaced refugees without any quality of life, without a future, without a civilized world protecting them. This is unacceptable, but unfortunately I know the Biden administration will never hold Israel accountable for this crime, or any other crime against humanity. Biden can make P.R. statements or have John Kirby cover for Israel even with the bold face lie of “the state department has looked at incidents in the past and has yet to determine any of those incidents violate international humanitarian law.” Actions speak louder than words. The Partner of One of the Seven World Central Kitchen Aid Workers killed in an Isra-helli Airstrike in Gaza, Forever Palestine 🇵🇸, this week is pleading for answers after the deadly attack.

Sandy Leclerc, the partner of Jacob Flickinger, a dual US—Canadian Citizen, told ABC News, in her first television interview since the attack: "We Need the Truth of What Happened Because this Situation is So Unclear."

World Central Kitchen announced that it will resume operations in Gaza on Monday, almost one month after seven of its aid workers were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the enclave. The U.S.-based nonprofit group, founded by celebrity chef José Andrés, suspended operations in Gaza for four weeks after the workers were killed on April 1, according to a statement. The organization identified the aid workers as Saifeddin Issam Ayad Abutaha, a 25-year-old Palestinian; Lalzawmi (Zomi) Frankcom, a 43-year-old Australian; Damian Soból, a 35-year-old from Poland; Jacob Flickinger, a 33-year-old dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada; Security team members John Chapman, 57, James (Jim) Henderson, 33, and James Kirby, 47, all from the United Kingdom, were also killed in the attack.

Before halting operations, the organization had distributed more than 43 million meals in Gaza “and accounted for 62% of all international NGO aid,” WCK said in a statement. “The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire,” said Erin Gore, the nonprofit’s chief executive officer. “We are restarting our operation with the same energy, dignity, and focus on feeding as many people as possible.” WCK has 276 trucks carrying almost 8 million meals that are ready to cross into Gaza via Rafah, and will send trucks into the enclave via Jordan too, it said in a statement. The organization is also continuing to explore delivering food with the help of Open Arms, a Spanish humanitarian organization, and the United Arab Emirates.

One of the food aid workers Israel assassinated in Gaza is Jacob Flickinger who is a former Canadian marine and also a US citizen. He leaves behind his partner Sandy and a one-year-old baby boy. Jacob was reportedly the NGO’s team lead in Gaza. Canada has yet to say his name or cut ties with the genocidal and rogue Israeli regime.

The western aid workers' murder by Israel may be a deliberate slap at Biden. They were there for his pier project. WCKitchen is very much a Clinton/Biden linked NGO and selected for that reason. WCKitchen ran a Biden get the vote out operation in 2020 including giving food to voting lines in Democrat neighbourhoods. They did photo opportunity projects specifically for Bill Clinton in Africa. Their murder by Israel is a real problem for Genocide Joe.

Today @WCKitchen lost several of our sisters and brothers in an IDF air strike in Gaza. I am heartbroken and grieving for their families and friends and our whole WCK family. These are people…angels…I served alongside in Ukraine, Gaza, Turkey, Morocco, Bahamas, Indonesia. They are not faceless…they are not nameless. The Israeli government needs to stop this indiscriminate killing. It needs to stop restricting humanitarian aid, stop killing civilians and aid workers, and stop using food as a weapon. No more innocent lives lost. Peace starts with our shared humanity. It needs to start now.

John Flickinger said that in his view the strike “was a deliberate attempt to intimidate aid workers and to stop the flow of humanitarian aid.”

World Central Kitchen has since ceased food deliveries in Gaza, Flickinger noted, and he said it looks like Israel is “using food as a weapon.”

i haven't seen anything about this on tumblr yet, i don't hear much online about "canada" outside my irl circles.

one of the World Central Kitchen martyrs was a "canadian" citizen, and as a result our minister of foreign affairs melanie joly is doing some of the most pathetic and disgusting face-saving i have ever seen. for context, it was reported this year that the foreign ministry spent more than 28 million dollars to arm the IOF in the last quarter of 2023. that's not the number for the year, that's the number for october through december. joly testified prior to this leak that there had been, and i quote, "no weapons sent under [her] watch in recent years". (here is a more detailed breakdown of the numbers involved). if you weren't aware, our government has a storied history of denying their involvement in genocide. i know every government does this, but "canada" has built a good chunk of its national identity on this principle and even some of the younger generation still believes we are "better" than most other colonial countries because of it. many people are not aware of the pivotal role our government played in colonizing Palestine in the first place. i digress.

since learning that one of the victims, Jacob Flickinger, was a dual citizen of "canada", melanie joly has condemned the attack and ordered a full investigation into the circumstances, calling the murders horrific and unacceptable. this is the correct response- but why is it so late? why is joly, the woman whose own ministry is responsible for approving more than 30 million in aid to the IOF in a single year, not taking more accountability for this tragedy? why does she only care now that a white "canadian" man has died? prime minister Trudeau is also quoted asking for answers as to "how this happened".

our government always feigns ignorance when their hands are dirty. please remember that, and if you didn't know please remember from now on that "canada" is now and has always been a wolf in sheep's clothing. i really don't know what to say about this besides that i am disgusted but not surprised.

Parents of Quebecer killed in Gaza say Israeli strike was ‘targeted killing of aid workers’..

Flickinger’s parents, Sylvie Labrecque and John Flickinger, say the attack on Flickinger and six of his colleagues was a clear targeted attack by Israel Defence Forces (IDF) because of how obviously marked the World Central Kitchen convoy was. It was also travelling on a well-used humanitarian route and the group had co-ordinated its movements in advance with the IDF, they said.

An israeli committed crime upon the american people, and the american government refused to bring justice. They put israel above their own people. The citizens' life holds no value if israel were the one who killed them.

They instilled fear that Russia and China interfere with the government, when the government itself was never once owned by the country to begin with.
