Moore is #fine‚ nothing more (potentially controversial take? i don't rate her as an actor) and the rest of the cast is nothing to write home about #the fx are sometimes goofy and sometimes gore splattered ingenuity; the final act contains some real gruesome body horror #oh and as the poster subtly suggests‚ this was shot for 3d so expect much pointing into the camera and stuff jumping up

since there’s been talk and rumors of TGWDLM rerun in 2025 (PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPL-), I’d thought I’d give my two cents on what I think would be a fun (if extremely unrealistic) casting since Robert got the boot

Hidgens: Jeff Blim- he’s got the manic energy down perfectly; he would be able to balance the silly and the serious very well, and we’ve already seen him play the role so it just kinda makes sense to me

Davidson: James Tolbert- now, technically speaking Jeff could reprise his role as Davidson if the characters in the ensemble changed for “let it out”, but I think James would fucking slay “what do you want Paul” and it would be a genuine delight to see his silliness and amazing news put into Davidson

Sam (Charolette’s cop husband): Will Branner- the vibes just fit idk what else to tell you, we already know he can play a good-looking-terrible-meaning-character and THE THINGS I WOULD DO TO HEAR THIS MAN SING “YOU TIED UP MY HEART” IS NOT FUNNY

besides those three, I would wanna keep the rest of the show the same since I can’t imagine other actors playing those roles <3

other thoughts:

- if the do the hot chocolate scene again, they would have to have Joey quick change into Peter right??? idk it would so fun to see the Peter we know and love today in his original debute

-also, if Joey has to do that, and we need another cop for “show me your hands”….dare I say curt mega plsssss; his voice would be so good for a wailing siren lol

-also also that theory about Max being infected during la dee dah dah day could finally be confirmed if they bring will back for the show (it could also be confirmed by a different actor wearing Max’s costume)

would they keep the show as being in 2018, or would they update it for the current year cause if they do, there might also be classic line changes such as “sing the beginning of Moana!”, but I doubt they would take out such loved lines
