I met Johnny Jamma in Long Island back in '16.

He roamed the world looking for fun and laughter, but his only pleasure was smoking the ganja.

But yeah, we had an apartment, used to sit around smoking swisher sweets, chilling, and eventually it was just inevitable we'd jump into the rectal game.

But yeah some sad shit, one day he told me he was going to "conquer the final frontier known to man", bastered himself up a whole foot deep.

He got so high, that he told me he was "quitting all drugs", (??? THC is not a drug what the hell man?!?!) went back to native country, started a business, married, and... That was the end of that relationship.

I had another roommate after that, but it just wasn't the same. Nobody was like Johnny Jamma. So, that ended my brief stint in NY. I moved back to Wisconsin, and I got into the accounting game.

Saw some really cool fanart on twt and though jamma wrote an Awakened PV and Fount oneshot AU– WHAT DID I JUST READ INSTEAD 😭???? I got lured guys,,, lured I tell you,,, and me thinking I was prepared for the angst after reading the tags but jamma does not play with those things and OUWGH—

Started feeling the sad stuff on Smilks part, chocked on our diva queen Golden Cheese's decision on BSpice and started tearing at Mystics.

"MyStiC flOur cOoKie Had aLwAys enjoYed sunSets"— YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE MYSTIC FLOUR ENJOYS???? Turning cookies into flour. This line turned ME into flour AUOGHSBEJK-

Sugar's part just made it sadder and Silent was blissfully protected from the horrors by not being released yet and therefore not having enough lore to sob about. They may not be spared next time.

By my powerful delusional rays and for the betterment of my sanity, I'm here to tell you guys that none of that actually happened and Smilky just had a not so silly nightmare, forgot about it afterwards and got up with his usual crazy happies and joys and went to the ivory pagoda with Nilla (whom he has a healthy relationship with) where all the ancients and beasts (whom are also friendsies with each other) were having a family picnic, including the minions and where BSpice got some therapy for his destructive depressies and Mystic flour could control the sun so she could enjoy 2717369948720 billion sunsets with Haetae and Sugar is concious and actually happy and also Silent is present and happy and also everyone's happy 🥰🤗🥰.

Okay crashout and delusions aside, I hope you guys liked this little comic thing I made from the tears I felt too greatly ^^ I'll be off to share my sorrows on the dark birdie app now

Hehehe come on I didn't throw you I just.. gently nudged you forward it's not my faulttt!! Anyway the ficsss.. hm. A good question. I'm very picky when it comes to fanfiction, especially the way characters are depicted. I can't read too OOC stuff unless it's a crackfic then it can get a pass. My personal nitpick 💔

BEFORE I START IF SOMEONE HAS SOME GOOD SHADOWVANILLA FIC RECS I DIDN'T MENTION.. GIVE ME PLEASE,,-

I think the classic of shadowvanilla genre is "Jambound". The most popular one but a very high quality, loved reading it. Characters feel accurate to canon and just- that's exactly how I imagine a good sdvn redemption AU. Jamma aka the writer of Jambound also wrote another fic recently called "Dollfaced" and it's more on the psychological horror side, but I recommend this one too!!

Oh and one of the first sdvn fics I read was "The Light Continues" series it's been written before episodes 7-8 but from what I remember they were enjoyable. I feel like I should mention it even if I read it quite some time ago. But it's not sweet but an unhealthy depiction of the ship lol (if anyone knows fics similar to this one please share,, as much as I love fluffy sdvn I want to read some more toxicity and unhinged Smilk hehe)

Another sweet one is "A Guide to Making Friends". It's very cute and silly and made me giggle a lot. PV mistakes a courting book for a friendship one. A lot of misunderstandings coming from both PV and Smilk, strongly recommend!!

I think I should also mention Truthlessage fics (aka the swap versions from the costume stories) too since I love them a lot- "What the Bluebird Carries" is a great fic about their relationship very close to how I see them too so it was a delight to read <3

Another fun one is "Two Truths and Two Lies" essentially Smilk and Sage swap universes ngl like these kinds of concepts so I was sold immediately. Didn't disappoint at all. If you'd like a silly crackfic I also recommend "Stream: START" long story short Smilk becomes a streamer and PV follows after. Loved it, funny af.

Honorable mentions, some of these fics I didn't personally read but my friend talks about them so much I believe I should mention them: "Code of Honesty", "Golden Cage", "Beyond the Farm Gates." I trust my friend's judgment 🙏

Anyway these are the most memorable ones for me personally. I have my own fic but since I have no idea if I continue writing it I won't mention it lol

Any lore for Crabtastic's species and planet, as well as Thriller Whale's species and planet? I like to imagine that they share a homeworld and Thriller Whale's species serve as DJs for Crabtastic's species parties.

Lol I honestly really love the idea that they hang out together for parties! However, I don't always love when too many species share planets only because I feel like it takes away the vastness of space sometimes. Sharing systems is fine, but hanging out is almost funnier. Like they travel great distances to just vibe lol

For Crabtastic, maybe something like Narcipod for the species and Immia for the planet. A near nonstop party planet littered with the tiny alien crustaceans (as well as their own garbage since they all think they're too good to clean up after themselves). Tourism is the one way the planet's economy is sustained, however all funds go to things like spiked seawater mixers and only the sickest beats available. But with nothing like education or proper medical facilities leads to a dwindling population every winter solstice. Their moto being "Here for a good time, not a long time".

Thriller Whale's species could be Bachtacean, and the planet Noskcaj V. Their are 41 planets in the Jamma Quadrant, all of which host the Bachtacean. The reason they inhabit the surrounding planets independently is due to the various genres each planet's society has dedicated their sound to. Not only was their music capabilities originally good for enticing prey, but they learned to express themselves through their music and dance better than any other creature. Although the species generally can mimic any sound or dance move they hear/see, there was years of in-fighting that caused a large divide between the different artists, casuing them to spread out and only stick to their preferred genres.

oh!! sure!! I would love to! It really makes my day whenever I throw some post into my queue with a new project tag and y’all immediately see it and are like !!!!! TELL!! it makes me so happy thank you omg

okay so oct 1983 is something my brain Word Vomited this summer bc I read a few Idea Posts about killing main characters (without that being the end/foreshadowed from beginning), and I had just started listening/reading horror shows/short stories. It’s kind of a loose trans allegory using Dionysian Madness as the frame work? It’s a usual fiction story (our main character Clyde and his co-worker Jamma, and frequent cafe customer and from-afar crush Pace) but is a first person journal of Clyde experiencing unexplainable “madness” [that’s really dissociation from being misgendered]. He has spots in his memory that come from inspiration in my own life of feeling like sometimes people “summon” the “cis version” of me, and make Her fill in for me involuntarily. Eventually, surprise surprise, he dies and Pace is left to find this journal and try to talk to Clyde’s family to correctly mourn his death-- but it’s like “Clyde” (not Casey) never existed. And suddenly this “madness” (gaslighting, more like it) is passed on to him.... It’s one of the most derivative pieces I’ve ever done. It’s very much unlike anything I’ve ever worked on, out of my wheelhouse and genre, but I’m having a lot of fun with the characters and the prose. I may submit it for my first grad workshop, but who knows!!

Lighthouses is literally me trying to write a piece about like, lore and myths surrounding the ocean and how an old decommission lighthouse accidentally grants immortality to four clueless twenty-something grads who are broke and just need somewhere to stay. They each have very different responses to the change-- one of which being, a character who is allergic to peanuts figures out what the Big Thing is about peanut butter. Others spiral into a fight with their own humanity. Another starts trying new athletic activities without fear of hurting themselves too badly etc.
