We all know Jax acted like he knows someone watches them.

We can tell he does this usually via Zooble's reaction. HE DID THIS AGAIN!

He asked if someone can see this. Did he imply someone in Digital Sircus or someone from outside? Maybe he knows someone tests them. Can they be in a test version of a game? Is Jack know that and act accordingly about getting tested? He can be only people knows the truth(except Caine) Maybe he implead someone from sircus. Maybe he just doesn't want someone sees he is weak.

OK. I was re-watching the tadc episode 4 because why not?

And I noticed Jax expression changed when zooble made the Joke about Jax not talking or whatever.

And it's not the first time, because in episode 2? He looked sad/upset about kofmo funeral but quietly got "mad" or annoyed. (Probably at himself for carrying)

In episode 4, he was able to show he was scared because he knew no one was watching him. I think idk

Uhhhhhh..... I'm not sure what I'm trying to say or prove....I just wanted to talk about this because I have no one to talk about my interests/hyperfixation 🥲🔪

Jax's Coping Mechanism (being the first n all)

If he was the first to enter the Digital Circus, then how has he survived this long? Without abstracting, I mean.

Probably the same way he's surviving currently. BEING AN ASSHOLE. Focusing on the misery of others instead of his own. Not giving a fuck basically- or, giving way too much of a fuck, so he distracts himself.

So, does this make him a bad person? If he's prioritizing his safety (not getting abstracted) at the risk of others?

Probably. A bit selfish, too.

But, to him, this is the only thing that will keep him going.

He's breaking, though. Just a lot slower than the others. He won't be able to keep this act up forever. And I think he knows this. Personally, I'm excited to see if and when he breaks.

Anywho, this post isn't really justifying what he does. Like I said, he's an asshole. But he's also being an asshole because that's what's comfortable for him- even if it hurts sometimes. It's what keeps him sane, and only him, so that's all that matters, right?

I'd like to see if he ever truly feels bad for what he does, maybe in a future episode. I'd love to see him go too far. Maybe bring someone else in the circus close to abstraction? I think that would gnaw at him for a while, if how he acts doesn't do that to him already.

How complex. He has the capacity to be good, but he's not focused on that right now. So he doesn't care if he's a bad person. As long as he's able to keep living.

Or maybe I'm just reading a bit too much into his character. Just thought this was interesting. If he was the first, that must mean he has the strongest coping mechanism out of everyone else- if he has survived this long. But this, unfortunately, does mean becoming the worst version of yourself in the process. If you want to survive in the circus, Jax's strategy is to sacrifice other's sanities in order to save your own.

Maybe he was a good person before he joined, and became a bad person to survive. Or maybe he was always this way.

Either way, his character is really intriguing to me! Can't wait to see the horrors he goes through next!

Jax’s kalampokiphobia🌽

So recently while scrolling through the wiki, I came to find out Jax has a fear of corn. Relating to “reminding him of the farm” & apparently had a nightmare of being lost in a corn maze. Not only does this make me think he’s got farm origins(would fit with him wearing overalls/having mulch in them) but also makes more sense of why he’s a rabbit(an animal you can find around farmland).

But just what made him be afraid of corn? Seems to imply he had gotten lost once in one atleast, given his nightmare. But what if it was darker than just getting lost.

Well, lil lore. TADC’s Inspired from IHNMAIMS. And there’s another character who has a peculiar fear. Her names Ellen & she was afraid of the color yellow. But it wasn’t simply just the color…but what it reminded her. Spoilers warning & TW talk of sexual trauma & SA.

Awhile back before being trapped in AM, Ellen was trapped in an elevator & assaulted by a maintenance worker who was wearing a yellow suit. You know what else is yellow?.

Yknow another thing with rabbits aside from being animals u can find around farmlands or seen as tricky clever creatures….theyre also associated with sexuality(with their fertility, used as a symbol for playboy)🐰🐇👯‍♂️👯‍♀️.

by the way despite not thinking npc jax would be real, i have to remind y'all that ragatha said "oh you already got one" to pomni bout rooms, which means that they do not immediately get room when they enter and sometimes they can wait longer for room.

which means the reason why he got a room can be just because he asked caine to do and caine probably just thought(?) he forgot and made if he is npc

Theory that’s a new take on the Jax is an NPC theory: Jax’s body has been taken over by a rogue AI for years, with Jax’s real consciousness being stuck in the mannequin model and being forced to hide since he’d be poofed like Gumigoo if Caine caught him, since he wouldn’t be able to prove he used to be human. Meanwhile the rogue AI is having a blast being a jerk to all the PCs.

A very poorly put together "The amazing digital circus" theory about the NPC we see at the end of episode 5 and Jax.

Warning: if your not a fan or don't believe the "Jax is an NPC theory" this post probably isn't for you. Now that that's out of the way!

At the end of the fifth episode we see this strange NPC staring ominously at the cast.

Now we've seen them before in the background of other episodes (i can't find the screenshot just trust me bro)

We have no idea what it's up to and why it's stalking the cast.

We see in this episode that caine is able to make Jax a vegan-- which he shouldn't be able to do. Jax even mentions this in the newest episode.

He has a very strange look on his face, yeah caine shouldn't be able to do that. And he can't.. What if I told you that Jax isn't really Jax? What if I told you the bunny isn't even his body?

I know I sound insane! This is where it gets hard to explain.. I think Jax is a rogue NPC that coded himself into the real Jax.

We already know Jax has many secrets, such as his abstracted friend, and how he has keys to everyone's rooms. it wouldn't be to far fetched to say he knows how to code.. okay maybe it is I DONT KNOW! But-

It could explain how he has a door aswell. If he was just some NPC that managed to sneak his way into the cast after an adventure, how would he have a door?

As for the stalker NPC, we have no idea who they are yet, And why they're doing that. I know it's only episode 5 but I cant think of any other reason why it's doing that.

I think the reason why caine could change Jax into a vegan is because he IS an NPC, and Jax is confused because he swapped himself into a player and thinks he can't be changed now.

Also I saw someone mentioned how the NPCs have actual beeps instead of those goofy noises when the players swear, we've never heard Jax swear so.. LOOK IM TRYING TO SAVE MY CASE! (If Jax actually ever swore let me know I could be wrong.)

I've been interested in the Jax NPC theory since episode 3 and since then we've only gotten more evidence. I just thought making this post would maybe turn some heads and get a conversation going? Or maybe this sounds stupid and I'm an idiot. Either way I'm really interested to see what happens next.

Honestly I just came up with this theory on the spot after watching the 5th episode a third time, I don't really have the confidence to say it's true but I just thought it was interesting since we don't really know what's going on with the stalker NPC.

TL;DR, Jax is an NPC that coded his body into one of the players, swapping their bodies and causing the player to become an NPC and stalk jax and the players.

Jax is going to do something very bad, and my theory is it will be the abstraction of Gangle.

I’ve been trying to think about what would be the worst thing that could happen in the circus.

They can’t be killed, Episode two showed them getting stabbed repeatedly and having no issue.

They (probably) can’t get stuck anywhere Caine wouldn’t be able to retrieve them.

The worst thing seems to be abstraction.

And Jax bullies the hell out of Gangle. Pushing her down, stepping on her mask, blackmailing her about her ‘figurine thing’, blaming her for the truck falling, pointing a gun at her.

He’s mean to everyone but the meanness he shows towards Gangle is pretty extreme.

He treats the circus like a video game, and the people in it like characters. When Pomni appears he says “If this is another character” not if this is another person or human.

Maybe he’ll learn after he’s already gone too far and was the result of someone abstraction, maybe he’ll finally recognize the other people as human, or maybe he never will.

Either way I can’t wait to see what happens

FINALLY REMEMBERED TO MAKE THIS POST!!!

Anyone else notice how Jax TADC can see where the camera is? Like. He looks at the camera and says something and Ragatha is like ‘why are u looking at me like that???” THAT WAS OUR FIRST HINT. He can see the camera. In the latest episode he POINTS AT THE CAMERA. It’s played for comedy but man. What could this mean for his character???

I looked up on Villains Wiki. I can see why Jax is natural with Ragatha, Zooble, and Gangle. I can also see why everyone hates Jax.

It’s a love-hate relationship between Jax and others (Like Ragatha, Zooble, and Gangle.) Probably it’s because they always tolerate him

Sometimes they liked to keep picking on him for other tricks:

Corn

Maid Outfit

Make him a vegan

Getting him tied up in EP 3

Mocking and humiliating him every time.

And some other things like they did to treat him worse in EP 3-5.

I don’t think Jax was a villain but he was trying his best to be a better person. If Pomni shows up, she can make him a better person. Now if I know what’s going on between Pomni and Jax. Sure he threw her out of the moving truck in EP 2. So what gives?

I don’t understand why Jax would be upset about. That Ragatha mentioned that the old members were abstracted? Maybe.

But sadly, he didn’t show up to Kaufmo’s funeral. If I say this correctly, people in the digital world have always treated him worst to be a bad guy in every episode.

It’s harsh that they know what he did to torment people wasn’t funny at all. Jax couldn’t hold a grudge against others that they were making a fool of him. But he’s trying to be better, if he’s trying to be a good person to them. Cut him a slack, y’all!

another Jax theory

oh how about thus. Jax was a bully victim. Maybe even abuse. The reason he act the way he does is because in life he had no friends and was constantly hurt by others. Now that he is in the circus and is one of the biggest characters he took on the mind set of, "if i have to go through this so do you." Now he feels like he can act out his anger or hate. However I think he mainly goes after Gangle because she either reminds him of himself or because she is the only one he can confidently pick on. If he was a victim he might not be able to go as hard on strong willed people like zooble and Ragatha. To him gangle is a safe choice. Doesn't mean he doesn't take jabs at the others when he can.
