Happy birthday to Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, and happy Ghost Swap week!

This first prompt is "Jeego/Rindge and Tengo/Memry roleswap. Nationalityswap optional" for anonymous!

I decided to do a little comic for Jeego and Tengo,

and did matching character sheets for Rindge and Memry!

tbh im not fully happy with the comic. im just not built for multiple character illustrations. i really enjoyed the first jeego, hes so chill and normal. after that my brain just like checked out or something lol.

rindge was the first one i drew, mostly because i knew hed be easy lol. i havent actually drawn him before, but i knew from experience that his face and outfit would be a fun breeze. i decided to give him jeego's ominous eye shadows, otherwise he just looks too regular.

memry was second. im not stoked about her face, but those freckles are so cute i agh i love drawign freckles theyre so. the hair on the portrait looks a bit mid, but on the full body i got it down pat. id also like to draw attention to the portait's tie and collar. thats peak cinema there.

anyways thaks for reading allat. heres a bonus jeego for you are patience. i didnt want to include it in the main post bc theres no full body, and no tengo to accompany, but jeego looks great in rindge's fit.

Jeego's thing is that he can't see what's right in front of him.

This leads to many complications.

For example, six months into their relationship, Tengo starts discussing marriage, future children names, where they should live, etc .

Jengo gets confused and asks, "Wait... are we dating?? Do you like me?? I did not see this coming!!"

Just finished Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, chapter 2! Thoughts and opinions:

I am Loving these hitmen. Nearsighted Jeego, One Step Ahead Tengo, I hope there’s more, I hope they all come back….though I also kinda hope it doesn’t become a problem for me. Oh, Capcom game dogs named Missile, my beloved. Very endearing dog. <3 I’m not usually automatically endeared to animals so it’s saying something.

wdym that purple haired lil girl isn’t Lynne’s sister??? WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE????? They DO seem to have a sisterly dynamic, like we meet Lynne and think she’s the hapless, funny klutz one and then we meet Kamila, and Lynne calls her up already sick of her nonsense. That’s sisterly love. I know this, I am the himbo, comedic older sister. I like them both sm.

Jowd runs away from his family in the new timeline, overwhelmed. He is too scared to truly break something to be planning on staying away forever but his family aren’t as sure.

critter-ghosting-some-tricks, Jowd gets paint on one of his favorite shirts or breaks something. He is quick to decide that it is ruined and useless. He doesn’t understand why Cabanela is so quick (and desperate) to convince him that it is worth saving until his wife joins in and he realizes that it isn’t about an object anymore. It’s about him.

This one enters personal HC territory, but Yomiel with brown hair. His blond hair is actually not his real hair color, but ever since the incident in the park, the dye's never worn off and has only begun to wear off in the new timeline.

The communication barrier between Yomiel and cat Sissel, I think. The struggle of wanting to help your owner, understand him more but you're just a cat.

a little self indulgent, but my oc ana interacting with yomiel. i think it'd be interesting to see someone who's been wandering the earth for longer vs someone who's only been a ghost for 10 years. like looking into a mirror maybe, and being reminded of the parts about you that you don't really like. a mixture of spite and relief to know that you aren't the only ghost on this earth, but the dread of knowing you could live through centuries and not age at all. how does sith know about ghosts and their ability to rewind time? has he ran into one? does his family have a long history tied with ghosts? is blue country just superstitious and has certain beliefs when it comes to ghosts?

ghost trick live reaction so far! spoilers for the beginning of the game ahead and all that fun stuff

ive gotten through the first two chapters so far,,,, there’s already been a kitty and a puppy. does the dog die is a yes but you bring him back so its okay. i want the black kitty that stepped on my corpse to come back like hi baby let me pet you pleeease

also i love that we’re pulling no punches with the killing people thing. there’s no beating around the bush with it which is refreshing. everyone’s dyin everywhere,,, and its not just the good guys we’re immediately right off the bat killin jeego. squashed. i would imagine tengo is in for a similar fate but like,,, man. also funny that we immediately assume that this is simply the right thing to do. not bc killing people bad or anything just bc a girl is in trouble. ik the real motivation is to find the truth and all,,, but its funny to think that sissel simply believes women can do no wrong

ray is also v interesting. the lampshade thing is really kinda cute im ngl. curious how he’s(?) gonna come back into play. he’s actin like he’s been around the block for quiiite a while,,,, but he must’ve died the same day, right? because the soul disappearing when the sun goes up stipulation,,,, that’s gotta apply to him too right? though i guess in fairness if he’s also got these ghost tricks. he may very well have been going back and forth in time and all,,,, and may very well have been around the block quiiiite a few times. cant wait to see what’s the what tbh

anyways im excited to play more tomorrow :D
