Keeping with the theme of Mystery shows, I binged the Jesse Stone movies this week before the left Tubi. Tom Selleck isn't a fav actor of mine, but Jesse Stone was the last gasp of the TV Movie as an art form and it's one of my favorites so I couldn't pass up watching them. The movies were decent neo noir and I liked that they had good continuity in terms of characters and plot. I really wish they hadn't ended as abruptly as they did.

I've been in the mood to go back to my old WIPs and see what I can do about them. I have gone through several that I feel like I might finish them eventually. This one happened totally by accident. I was looking for another fic with this pairing, but I stumbled upon this one, so I polished it off, added some scenes here and there and then ended it. Hopefully I still have their voices right.

As always, heed the tags. No explicit description of the rape/non-con, but if that's not your thing, just back out of the story.

The first thing I searched for on Hoopla was to see if it had the Jesse Stone movies. Hoopla does not have the movies, but they do have the soundtrack...

I didn't even know it existed. It's all instrumental, and very relaxing if you need to sit and listen to music to calm down either from anxiety or just a hectic day.

I also recommend watching the movies, either via Amazon Prime (rental) or borrowing them from your local library.
