In today's musings on Nanami being a responsible adult: FINANCES.

Sorcerers make bank. We know.

Most of them probably live in Tōkyo to make traveling in and out of the country easier, meaning the rent limit is the sky.

Now...I don't think Nanami lives in a massive apartment in a central location 5 minutes from a major station.

That's expensive and would clash with his goal of retiring early and living somewhere with low property prices and no work to bother him while raising a family.

This man lives in a 2 room apartment (I'm thinking kitchen-living room combo. Bedroom. Japanese style bathroom aka toilet and bathroom are seperate). Moderately sized. 20 minute walk from the nearest station (also means less people and less curses) kind of out of the way.

Sure, he has a (potentially) expensive watch and the dry cleaning for suits covered in curse goo is substantial. How the fuck do you even clean that?!

But Nanami is probably quite frugal and puts most of his money into savings.
