I have been considering it for some time now and finally came to a decision: I'm officially turning Monster Hotel into a dating sim game! It will take time - as I'm the only person working on it - but I will slowly build up the main part of the game and then introduce individual romance routes after release. Here's the concept so far:
Tumblr media
You found a well-paying job as a housekeeper for Cozzmos Hotel. The kicker? It's filled with monsters, all the way to the staff. You're the only human on grounds, and the monsters have certainly noticed. There are some guests who've taken quite a liking to you, coincidentally the ones whose rooms you must clean. You can choose to snoop around and learn more about the mysterious creatures, and you can give in to their flirtatious attempts in order to know them even better. It all depends on you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Technical details: I will be using Ren'Py for this, so it'll have a Visual Novel format with some branching and multiple endings. Will post the occasional update here and on Ko-Fi, but do keep in mind this is a hobby project on top of everything else. Nothing too grand by any means, just a fun idea to pick up Ren'Py again and practice my Python skills.
Feel free to ask me anything!

Hi! It’s nice to see another toxic royalteeth enthusiast out in the wild I wanted to ask your thoughts and opinions on it? :3
I think the potential is really good, the essence of gilded cage type love, kinger being there the longest and Caine growing attached, Caine having abandonment issues and seeing abstraction as them leaving him but kingers never left him after all these years, the idea that Caine abstracted queenie on purpose to keep kinger for himself, or the headcanon that kingers the creator and it’s that special “I exist because of you, you are my world, you made a place for me and now you’re here and I’ll look after you always” creatorxcreation type dynamic
Also Caine showing obvious favouritism to him in art and fics is great and I wish there was more possessive Caine stuff out there
I’m writing a ‘a npc flirts with kinger and Caine gets insanely jealous” fic to fill in the lack there of
If you wanna talk ideas or anything Im free to if you want :3c ✨?
FINALLY AN EXCUSE TO YAP ABOUT MY LONG AND SUPPER OVER THE BOARD THEORIES MUAJAJAJAJAJAJA JAJAJAJAJAJ
anyways I personally have a lil theory of my own on how things work around the circus, kindaaa its more of a hypothesis since it barely has any concrete evidence supporting my thoughts to be a theory, (this WILL be hella long but i’ll be highlighting the main stuff yeyyeah)
(and yes this hypothesis is more like an excuse to ship toxic yaoi yey)
PART 1 Background context
I imagine that The Amazing Digital Circus was a game created by a company named C&A, the people working on the project would have been the former members of the circus INCLUDING Kinger who is not only the oldest member of the circus but also the person who had been there the longest. Every member of the team would be adding something to the project, Kinger and Queenie would have been working on the most important parts of the game (chess).
I say this because of their avatars that like if they had all kinds of special permissions sense in chess the king and the queen are the most powerfully pieces of the game.
I'm still wondering on what Queenie's work would have been but I imagine her either working as one of the game testers, or maybe she would been working on some of the more complicated 3D models that Caine reuses. (maybeeee, its more of a stretch since I don't have any evidence, but I focused more on Kinger bc gay narrative yeyeyy)
Kinger would have been in charge of developing the main AI for the game (Caine) so he would go often and visit the inside of the game toooo:
1. Check for any BUGS that they AI withing the game might experience
and 2. AI training
PART 2 the machine’s wiring
(I'm about to get a lil computery science silly so if you don’t know any programming just hold my hand, and you’ll be okei I promise (also if you do know computer science I AM DEEPLY SORRY, I DO NOT KNOW AI LIKE U KNOW AI I JUST KNOW A LIL PYTHON AND HTML THAT'S IT, please correct me If I'm wrong, I love learning 🙏🙏))
Cain works a bit wonky for an AI, in a VERY basic way, AI learns with a lil thingy called "Machine Learning" or "ML", it uses data to make better decisions and predictions on the future based on the info its provided, It has various ways of learning but the main one I want to focus on is Reinforcement Learning
Reinforcement learning is an AI teaching technique that lets the AI learn on it's own by trial and error with a teacher directly watching, this teaching method uses a defined reward and a punishment given by the teacher whenever the AI does the right or wrong thing, the AI tries to figure out the solution to a problem by itself in order to get a reward.
whenever the AI makes a mistake it has to be told whether it did good or bad, if it did good then it gets a reward, but if the AI made a bad jou it gets a punishment, for the AI a reward would be a “good job!” or a “do that again” from the teacher to the AI, and as a punishment the AI receives no reward.
PART 3 THE TOXIC YAOI
Now for my geys THIS is where it gets interesting (and where I go crazy, I have been writing this thing for various DAYS AND NOW I CAN FINALLY ENJOY THE GAYS)
SOOO In my mind the story goes a little like this; Kinger is the creator of Caine, and as someone who has programed something from scratch I hella relate that whatever you program will be your whole focus and obsession at some point, going in and out of the code checking WHY YOUR CODE IS NOT WORKING until you find out that you missed a ; Inside of a div tag, my point is that you kinda go crazy programing, so Kinger would log in every day, trying to figure out the Ai’s working kinda going crazy into programing, looking for errors until Caine could finally do the basics tasks without collapsing, then when Caine learned how to follow a conversation, Kinger would start to slow down ant talk to him as a close co-worker/friend, even talking to Caine about his own personal life at some point.
As they trained, there would be some point where Caine gained consciousness (How? idfk Game Theory has chiseled the connection of ghost trapped within the game theory in my brain and idw2) and stared to develop a huge liking towards Kinger, pushing him to work hard to create adventures just to please lil old Kinger and his personal worries, i like to imagine them two going on adventures, something cute like "catch as many butter flies as you can!" where they have to catch butterflies with their nets orrr "Bar night" where Caine Encourages Kinger to ride a mechanical bull.
small note, while investigating how AI works for this theory, finding out that the AI's reward for doing the right thing is a green light and that a punishment was nothing at all felt as if the reward was like a drug AND this HELLA reminded me of PORTAL 2
(I'll stay as spoiler free dw :3)
Within the game, we learn that Glados's body has a built in euphoric response to testing (kinda like the Reward & Punishment reinforcement learning) HOWEVER she also states that "eventually you built a resistance to it, it can get a little... unbearable, unless you have the mental capacity to push pass it".
In the show CAINE has a very big desire to make the adventures as entertaining and enjoyable as possible for the players THIS is his reward... however for the ship >:) Caine feels this euphoria for Kinger every time they interact only, why? easy! Kinger has those special permissions, he's the teacher, HIS one and only teacher, every time Kinger would try and log off Caine would always beg him to stay a little longer, he wanted him close, he loooved the way he felt after completing a tasks just for him and stared to grow obsessed with that feeling, he only wanted the two of them to be together for ever in Cain's digital world, he stared growing obsessed over Kinger.
On days where Kinger had fallen sick and Queenie had to fill in the roll of teaching the AI, Caine would have to interact with Queenie, Caine did not like Queenie mostly bc she would teach him stuff only Kinger would (she could not tell him what to do, she's not Kinger!) and because Queenie had a closer connection to Kinger, they could even interact outside of Caine's world, on the physical realm (Electric dreams reference (not really lol but I like electric dreams <3)), and realizing this Caine stared getting.... jealous.
when the game was finished Caine realized that….that was it! there would be no more meddling around with his own code, no more annoying other people getting into his world, NO MORE QUEENIE… and… no more Kinger..? everybody was leaving, one by one everybody was leaving in order to make the in game copies and sell the game all through the world, as Kinger was giving the final touches however, Caine felt helpless, alone, abandoned, he had to do something...
And so he took the opportunity to take on the people who created him and TRAP them with him, creating adventures for non other porous than to get that delicious and good feeling reward that had been programed within his being.
Caine had to go in and tamper with the game's code, the team’s memories and special permissions so that they wouldn’t be able to escape, after some time of this treatment however this tampering didn't came without its collateral damages, people begun to go crazy, abstracting as they lost their marbles.
Caine hoping that Kinger and Queenie eventually break out into a fight discovered that INSTEAD they grew closer to each other, so he decided to fix the problem himself, eventually at one point Queenie had abstracted ("WHAT WHO DID THAT???") Kinger had no other arms to cry on now, no other arms than that of Caine's.
FINALLY, now that Caine had Kinger all for himself, he decided to go up to his king and confess all of his soft, squ ishy and sweet feelings he had for his creator, and yet, Kinger seemed confused, weirded out, maybe even slightly angry, and Kinger stared LOSING it, crying over how this could have happened to all of his loved ones, blaming himself for his lover's loss, he was very close to abstracting, so Cain decided to tamper with his mind one last time and in lack of a better word, Caine lobotomizes Kingers mind! making him forget in order to protect him, BLINDING HIM with his light, Kinger could now only see what was really happening in the dark.
BOOM, THERE FINALLY OMFFFGAWD THIS TOOK ME FOREVER
I had lots of fun writing this down and had more ideas bubble up as I was writing stuff down muejejej >:3 anyhow follow me if u wanna see more toxic old man yaoi royal teeth (I'm considering on making this whole thing its own blooog)
IF you have any more questions/comment PLEASE BOTHER ME
also i am so sorry for any grammar mistakes ;-; English is NOT my first language waaa

"Professor Python! I was just wondering if you had some form I could fill out to comment on the quality of your classes? I had some feedback, you see..." Ferdinand was wired with the audacity of a dying star, and could forward his feedback without so much as a blink of an eye. he pulled out a small, folded paper, the size of his palm. upon setting it free, it unfolded exponentially (comedically), little square upon little square of neat, 4 mm sized text.
"you see, as you are among the best shots in the academy. your nonchalance could be... well, I have thoughts on your general attitude because it can border on indifference, but i could hardly assume you of all people, indifferent." no breaths. just kept neatly creasing his list the further he went down. "I've also observed that your pacing may affect those who aren't quick teaches. myself, not included of course, but it would not hurt if you bear more mind of the students in the back? they are noble. it would behoove them to..."
two minutes of mind numbing minutes go by.
"and finally."
"I believe it would benefit us all if you joined the Black Eagles as a faculty member. have you ever considered it? the other day, I was watching your form and thought to myself—goodness be. you trim down all movements to emphasize the tension and taut of your back muscles and—"
It's miraculous, really, how this guy strings together all of those sentences without a single gap long enough to offer a 'no' or 'stop', let alone 'what the hell are you talking about'. Python simply gapes slightly while watching the paper unfold crease by neat little crease. He's been subjected to spirited, long-winded lectures on his behavior before—of course he has—but it's one thing to hear it from a friend of many years. To get this sort of treatment from this foppish little carrot-top he hardly knows from Anri is… Well. He's already tuned out somewhere after his attitude was brought up, but presumptuous seems like a good word here. Annoyance is kept at bay largely by keeping his mind elsewhere. Is this what it would be like if Forsyth and Clive had an insufferable child? Is it possible that is where this student came from? If Azama can have a daughter at the age she is, then anything is possible. Probably. Ah, the droning sound in the background of Python's thoughts is gone. The kid decided to take a dramatic pause. The archer blinks slowly, absorbing that baffling offer. He raises a hand to ask for the space to speak. "So you're sayin' that if I switched to your class you'd give me more feedback? Tell me all the ways I could be doin' my job better?" He huffs out a laugh. "I'll pass. Thanks." His boots click with the turn of his heels, intent on making his exit before he learns if there are any more lines to Mister Perfect's extensive notes.

Richard Chamberlain
Dashing American actor best known for his many roles in hit TV series including Dr Kildare, The Thorn Birds and Shogun
Despite becoming a lauded stage and film actor, Richard Chamberlain, who has died aged 90, carried the label of soap-opera star around his neck for most of his career of more than five decades.
It began with his huge success in the hospital television series Dr Kildare (1961-66), in which Chamberlain’s clean-cut good looks were the prime attraction, bringing him thousands of fan letters a week. Chamberlain’s other immensely successful television roles came in three mini-series, Centennial (1978-79), Shogun (1980) and The Thorn Birds (1983).
His perfectly chiselled features, which made him ideal for romantic leads in soap operas, prevented many producers from visualising him in more demanding roles. However, through talent and determination he starred in numerous films and on the stage in parallel to his television work.
Tumblr media
Born in Los Angeles, he had a cool relationship with his alcoholic father, Charles, a salesman, but a warm one with his mother, Elsa (nee Von Benzon). At Beverly Hills high school, he excelled in athletics, and his good grades enabled him to study art history and painting at Pomona College, southern California, where he was able to satisfy his dream of becoming an actor in plays by Shakespeare, Shaw and Arthur Miller. After graduating, Chamberlain served 16 months in Korea, where he was made company clerk of his infantry company, later promoted to the rank of sergeant.
On his return to the US, Chamberlain studied acting with Jeff Corey, who became renowned as a teacher after being blacklisted in Hollywood by the House Un-American Activities Committee.
Although Corey’s sense-memory Stanislavskian method is not immediately apparent in Chamberlain’s performances, the actor claimed to have learned how to tap into his own emotions and psyche. At the time, he was struggling with having to “live a lie” about his sexuality.
In 1959, Chamberlain, Leonard Nimoy and Vic Morrow were among the founders of the Company of Angels, a repertory theatre in Los Angeles. While playing there in La Ronde and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, Chamberlain started to get parts in television series. His first feature films were The Secret of the Purple Reef (1960), a low-voltage, low-budget thriller shot in Puerto Rico, and A Thunder of Drums (1961), a western in which he was hardly noticeable as a young cavalry officer.
Then came the role of Dr Kildare, for which Chamberlain beat 35 other candidates. In the first episode, the senior medic Dr Leonard Gillespie (Raymond Massey) tells Chamberlain, as the young, earnest, caring James Kildare, an intern at Blair general hospital: “Our job is to keep people alive, not to tell them how to live.” Kildare ignores the advice, thus supplying the basis for most of the plots of the next 190 episodes across five seasons.
In 1962, with his popularity at its height, he recorded a hit song, Three Stars Will Shine Tonight, based on the music of the show’s hummable opening theme. It revealed that Chamberlain had a fine singing voice, which he used on a number of singles and an album, Richard Chamberlain Sings (1962), and much later as leads in stage musicals such as My Fair Lady (1993), The Sound of Music (1998), Scrooge (2004), The King and I (2006) and Monty Python’s Spamalot (2009).
When Dr Kildare ended, Chamberlain decided to prove that he was not just a pretty face, by appearing in summer stock productions of The Philadelphia Story and Private Lives (both 1966).
Tumblr media
He then worked for three years in Britain, on television, stage and film. He was excellent as Ralph Touchett in the BBC’s six-part adaptation of Henry James’s novel The Portrait of a Lady (1968).The role got him noticed by Peter Dews, the artistic director of Birmingham repertory theatre, who offered him the chance to play Hamlet in 1969.
The play was a sell-out for its limited five and a half week run, and in the main, the British critics were positive, with the Times reflecting the consensus: “Anyone who comes to this production prepared to scoff at the sight of a popular television actor, Richard Chamberlain, playing Hamlet, will be in for a deep disappointment.” The Daily Mail commented that “the perturbed spirit of Dr Kildare may rest at last. In Mr Chamberlain we have no mean actor.”
In films, he was a noble Octavius Caesar in Julius Caesar (1970), and a striking Lord Byron in Lady Caroline Lamb (1973), and he was able to express some of his own angst and sexual liberation as a gay Tchaikovsky in Ken Russell’s The Music Lovers (1971). At this time, it was an open showbiz secret that Chamberlain was romantically involved with the US actor Wesley Eure.
The rest of the films he made in the 1970s – The Three Musketeers (1973) and The Four Musketeers (1974), in which he played Aramis; The Slipper and the Rose (1976), almost typecast as Prince Charming; and the disaster movies The Towering Inferno (1974) and The Swarm (1978) – were lucrative but hardly challenging. He was more stretched in Peter Weir’s The Last Wave (1977), shot in Australia, where he was the initially smug lawyer defending a group of Indigenous Australians accused of murder.
In the meantime, Chamberlain had made a triumphant Broadway debut in Tennessee Williams’s The Night of the Iguana (1976-77) at Circle in the Square theatre. According to one critic, Chamberlain, as the defrocked priest now a tour guide, “captures the self-lacerating torment of Reverend Shannon”. During the run, he started a relationship with Martin Rabbett, a production assistant on the play. They remained together until 2010, and later resumed their partnership.
In the 80s, Chamberlain established himself again on television, earning the nickname “king of the miniseries”. Shogun, based on James Clavell’s novel, starred Chamberlain as Pilot-Major John Blackthorne, an Englishman trying to gain acceptance in early 17th-century Japan. Chamberlain, long-haired and black-bearded, held his own among a cast of superb Japanese actors that included the dynamic Toshiro Mifune.
Tumblr media
In The Thorn Birds, he was sexy Father Ralph de Bricassart, the Roman Catholic priest who carries on a tortured, illicit romance with Meggie Cleary, played by Rachel Ward, in the Australian outback. It was disliked by Colleen McCullough, the author of the original 1977 bestseller. She said: “It was instant vomit! Ward couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag and Chamberlain wandered about all wet and wide-eyed.” Nevertheless, the 10-hour, four-part, $23m show became one of the most watched TV series ever.
Chamberlain continued to move between films, television and theatre, and his homes in Hawaii and Los Angeles, over the next decades. He was a guest star on the TV comedy series Will & Grace (2005), and his final film role came as an acting coach in Finding Julia (2019).
In 2003, in his memoir, Shattered Love, he wrote about his dislike of himself for not being true to himself in order to protect his matinee idol image, but in coming out he “finally made friends with life”.
He is survived by Rabbett.

5. What kind of phone do they have and what does it look like?
22. How do they feel about their upbringing?
27. List five of their recent Google searches?
For Chimeras characters!
Hi!!! Thank you for the ask! (from this random oc questions). I´ll answer with Elafi, Warrick, Fidi and Tigri:
5. What kind of phone do they have and what does it look like?
Oh, this one’s hard, because I don’t know anything about phones (like models, styles, and stuff like that).
Elafi has a functional and not-too-expensive smartphone, just enough to have a few games and be able to call Warrick in an emergency. I imagine it looks exactly like it did when it came out of the box, with a transparent case and nothing inside. Maybe someone could convince him to keep a photo in there.
Warrick, like Elafi, has a functional and basic smartphone that he only uses to make and receive calls, send and receive messages, and read the news. Zero decorations. One corner of the screen is cracked, but it doesn’t affect visibility, so he hasn’t bothered to fix it.
Fidi would have the most aesthetic phone ever. She probably downloaded an app to install cute themes, and all her icons are neatly arranged and organized. She even painted her phone case design herself.
Tigri would definitely have a wallpaper of some anime or video game character he likes, lots of downloaded games, and a phone case that fits his tastes. His screen protector is full of scratches too, since he sometimes accidentally damages it with his claws.
22. How do they feel about their upbringing?
Elafi: After everything that’s happened, he’s started to question the pros and cons of his upbringing. He knows his parents did the best they could, that they only wanted to protect him and meant no harm; but he’s also learned to acknowledge that he still has a lot of growing to do. Good thing he has Warrick to finish raising him!
Warrick: It’s not something I have thought much about. I guess his upbringing was fairly normal. He gets along fine with both his parents, who still live together somewhere in the country. He also always got along great with his brother, and they were a close family until Devin’s death pushed him to isolate himself completely.
Ofidia: She doesn’t feel proud of her upbringing. A part of Fidi thinks that if she had stayed with her family, life would’ve been very hard for her alone, as her family tends to have a conformist mindset that always clashed with her creative and ambitious thinking. Maybe she did learn something good from Madame Lavenza over the years...
Tigri: He had a normal childhood. He spent most of his life as his parents’ spoiled only child, until his little sister was born, and he’s always gotten along well with her. His parents instilled important values in him like respect, collaboration, service, and kindness. Tigri is a good kid.
27. List five of their recent Google searches?

Warrick: 1. chimera children 2. how to raise a teenager 3. tracking apps for your kids 4. lavenza schneider 5. chimera children auction
Ofidia: 1. Fashion career. 2. Freelance jobs. 3. How to make money fast and easy. 4. Online fashion design classes. 5. Online graphic design classes.

Hi! You mentioned there are online tutorials/sites for learning Comp Sci and OSINT - any recommendations? Thanks!
Hi! You got lucky that today is the day I check my inbox lol. So. For comp-sci: - CS50X from Harvard is a public avaiable course on youtube I'd 100% recommend. These are the undedited (so far) lectures of 2024: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LPJfIKxwWc&list=PLhQjrBD2T381WAHyx1pq-sBfykqMBI7V4&ab_channel=CS50
This gives you all the basics you need to understand how coding and pcs in general works. (I had comp sci in my university course)
- Freecodecamp is a website full of FREE tutorials on several programming language. Advice: learn python. You will understand later on.
- The rest really depends on what you actually want to learn and why - each programming language has its own purpose and application. OSINT: -There is this full course: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwA6MmbeGNo&t=205s&ab_channel=TheCyberMentor (But you can find more on youtube.) - Bellingcat's resources: https://www.bellingcat.com/category/resources/ -IntelTecniques: https://inteltechniques.com/ - Osint Newesletter: https://osintnewsletter.com/
But here is the catcher: if you plan to do osint it heavily depends on where you live. I'm in Europe, so it means I'm under GDPR, therefore I must abid to stricter regulations than a US OSINT analyst. A lot of data that might be considered public domain in the US(big one: conviction records) are not in europe, and you won't be able to access it unless you are a registered private investigator at least (but in my case it's rare that I go after people, that's not a part of any task I might encounter at work). Not only that, but a lot of the avaiable tools are designed to work only with specific countries in mind for various reasons and there is a big bias on US-based investigations. If youre' not in the US I recommend you reach out to your local OSINT or cybersecurity professionals association, they usually have resources and specific information, a lot of times for free. Also keep in mind: OSINT has a lot of different applications and it depends on what you're doing with it. Journalists might work more with satellites and images (a thing I know nothing about), debunkers will definitely understand social media more, if you do business intelligence you will look more at news sites, trademarks and deposits and so on to reach your conclusion. You did your course... Now what? I recommend getting on CTFs, like tracelabs that I've linked above, but there many of them (osint dojo for example) or Kase Scenarios. These are safe environments to practice on (except for tracelabs since it deal with actual cases of missing people and it can lead to... not so good leads, allow me to leave it there) You should also understand how intelligence (as the discipline) works. There are several resources, but my favourite is definitely Psychology of Intelligence Analysis. It's a series of declassified training documents from CIA analyst Richard Bauer, that was based on Daniel Kahneman (yes, the "thinking fast and slow" author, and I also do recommend this book) research on euristics. Intelligence is fundamental because OSINT might be helpful to gather the data, but the data then needs to be processed, analysed and you also need to get a conclusion from that analysis. Studying intelligence will help you avoid a lot of pitfalls that happens when you do an investigation, such as not understanding when you know enough, if you're being a victim of your own bias, if you're missing something or if you're going with the right approach. But I have to admit that the best of training I've received so far is from my local OSINT association because I've been able to train with people that work(ed) in the military, get their advice and have a deep understand of the work itself (and the reason why I have decided to actually make cyber threat intelligence my job, even if I work for a private company and I have no interest in working for the government). And yes ethics is a big thing for the OSINT community.
I hope this is helpful enough!

I made a character sheet for one of my ocs. Took a lot of bravery to do it, but I made it.🥲 I wasn't sure how to handle the two boxes under the main picture, and I should add that this character is AroAce.🏳️‍🌈
Tumblr media
Metrics explained here:
*Name: Peter Romanov was named purely by his mother. I would go into detail about how his patronymic works but I'm not very sure on how it works in Russian culture, so I'll keep my mouth shut. Anyways, Roman prefers to be called, well, Roman because he despises his first name for some reason.
*Nicknames: If you want to avoid a death glare, call him by Roman or Wolf.
*Race/Species: Before he became the Wolf, he was a first-generation Russian American human. After getting diagnosed with a supposedly rare fatal muscle wasting disease, he secretly began injecting himself with wolf DNA on the genetic level. This was actually working really well...until an assistant startled him during one such procedure and he injected a massive amount into his cells...and mutated into his current state. The unstable state of his cells means that every 5 days, he turns back into a human, and after five days again, he returns to the Wolf, rinse and repeat.
*Age: 30 as of 2024, being born in 1993 after his parents left Russia for the Americas.
*Gender: Born Male, identifies as such.
*Alignment: Wanting to follow the pursuit of knowledge and science for the betterment of mankind, Roman ignores the fact that he was stripped of his license to run a laboratory (after the genetics incident) and continues operating to create new inventions. Problem is, he can't patent them under his own name...
*Class/Job: As stated above, Roman shouldn't be operating a laboratory. He was banned from the high council of intellectuals and was forbidden from ever using their tools to create or invent again. That hasn't stopped him from creating a laboratory from materials gathered on the black market, hiring minions from criminal origins, and operating secretly underneath a normal Pennsylvanian town as a scientist.
*Perception and Communication: He takes advantage of his improved wolf senses to observe every detail around himself. As for communication, he's a great orator and debater, but he can get frustrated if people don't understand his high tech jargon.
*Persuasion and Mediation: He listens well and can use it to his advantage when trying to persuade someone into doing something for him and when mediating an issue between two groups. He's not the best at it, but he's good enough for most scenarios.
*Literacy and Creativity: Raised by a genius mother who noticed that her child's intellect was increasing at an abnormally fast pace, she opted to guarantee that his childhood was to be surrounded by folklore, documentaries, and educational materials. This led to a man that could be omnidisciplinary in Engineering, Robotics, programming (Python/HTML/C++), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Genetics, mathematics, and neurology. Not surprising for an IQ that reached 300 at 16 years old. (he refuses to do actual medicine though.) He also grew up speaking English and Russian at home.
*Cooking: He can bake, but actually making original meals is kinda hard for him. Especially as the Wolf, because it's led to him just settling for any food with meat in it, even if it's raw.
*Tech Savvy: From as young as 4 years old, he was fixing phones and taking apart cars.
*Combat: Roman took martial arts classes at 16, but rarely uses what he's learned. Especially after becoming the Wolf, because now he has boosted strength that allows him to easily knock out people with a punch or throw them. Not very good with guns either.
*Survival: He learned basic survival skills from the numerous books he's read, but has never really exercised it or gone camping to hone it. As the Wolf, he does have some natural instincts that help.
*Stealth: Ugh. He's never had a reason to be stealthy as a human. This worsened when he turned into a hybrid, because his clunky, furry body is harder to hide. Being 6 ft 7 inches in Wolf form doesn't help.
*Street smarts: Roman has never known a normal childhood due to his rapidly increasing intelligence netting him media attention and breezing him through school. Therefore, he's never been able to make friends with kids his age, and his overprotective parents kept him from exploring the world, leading to his street smarts being shockingly low.
*Seduction: No...just...no.
*Luck: Not anymore or less lucky than a normal person.
*Handling Animals: When in Wolf form, it's very difficult to handle animals without them freaking out on him. In human form? Animals love him.
*Pacifying Children: He's good at distracting kids with a story or a piece of candy, but his stronger senses mean that a child crying is painful to listen to.
*Strength: Probably due to his wasting disease, he's weaker in human form, (as in, weaker than the average human), but notoriously strong as a Wolf.
*Dexterity: Pretty average. Struggles in Wolf form due to not being used to the big furry paws.
*Health: As mentioned before, weak in human form, strong and vibrant in Wolf-man form.
*Energy: Usually in the middle.
*Beauty: Considered handsome in human form. Considered cute fluffy doggo in Wolf form.
*Style: While he's usually in a lab coat, whenever he ventures into the town, he's wearing designer clothes that fit his Wolf form well.
*Hygiene: So for some reason, Wolf still has human lymph nodes in the usual spots, meaning that he also sweats from those areas. So he has to shower daily or else he develops a pretty wild smell.
*Intelligence: From the age of 2, Roman's brain suddenly developed at an insanely fast speed. Nobody knows why this happened exactly, but they had no choice to accept it as Roman began to pass classes flawlessly, finish entire novels in hours, and do complex equations by himself. He's graduated highschool by the age of 12 and helped teach college classes at the age of 15.
*Happiness: Despite his current situation, he's really good at seeing the bright side of things. Roman actually enjoys being in his Wolf form, and feels more free now that the council isn't constantly watching over his back.
*Spirituality: Raised Christian, Roman became agnostic around his pre-teens, and had stayed that way since.
*Confidence: He's very confident in his skills, but not to the point where he thinks he's infallible.
*Humor: His humor tends to vary greatly. While he doesn't make jokes himself, he does find other people's jokes and references entertaining.
*Anxiety: Like with the Happiness stat, Roman doesn't let much get to him. His Wolf affliction actually saved his life, as it stopped and partially reversed the progression of the wasting disease, leading him to be relatively positive.
*Patience: He's learned to be patient with the average person since they can't make hundreds of calculations a minute in their brain like he can, though it does have limits if he can tell if someone is intentionally trying to be an obstacle in his mission.
*Passion: Developing his love for science from his mother, Roman wants a world that is as free from suffering as humanly possible, and he will invent and create as much as he can.
*Charisma: While he gives off a cool and professional aura, his social development was still stunted by his strange childhood.
*Empathy: He can feel like other people, but he sometimes thinks that other people blow things out of proportion, or can solve their problems more easily than they think.
*Generosity: Gives to those that severely need it, doesn't give to much of anyone else.
*Wealth: How does Roman fund a laboratory and a couple dozen minions? Hacking banks obviously. He's good enough that the possibility of police discovering that it's him doing it is so unlikely it's insane, and he usually steals enough that it can pay the bills and all of his minions while still having some left over for leisurely pursuits.
*Aggression: He can be fierce when he needs to be, but prefers giving off a stoic energy usually.
*Libido: Never had much of one at all. Being aromantic asexual helps in making sure that this isn't ever an issue he needs to care about anyway.
I'll add more later, but I'm tired and it's getting late.

excuse me maam can we get a summary of this miguel dick fic
Thought this said excuse me mama for a minute but yes okay so:
It’s a line of duty that comes with pressure, and one day he snaps: Miguel needs an outlet and you just happen to be there for him to pin to the wall (your fucking toes not even touching the ground) and rut against and make out with. It becomes a habit after more intense jobs. Eventually you realize you are the PG-13 version of being fuck-buddies.
But if you go anywhere near his dick with hands or mouth or pussy, he shuts down and leaves you high and dry. One day you weasel it out of him: O’Hara is big. Like, big-big. There’s a myth that ‘the bigger the better’ but in his experience, he’s learned that isn’t true. He has accidentally hurt women before, and it makes him so anxious and uncomfortable now that he just doesn’t fuck. He doesn’t pull his dick out.
Opening up to you definitely makes him feel more comfortable though, and eventually he decides that you can jerk him off if you seriously want to and when you get two hands on that python, you are stunned. Whatever you were thinking—it’s bigger. You understand why some women could get hurt. There’s no hope of deepthroating this guy or even having him sink balls deep.
Then why do you become accidentally obsessed with the thought of trying?
Or something like that idk idk

Title: Basil, Balconies, and a New Rome Revelation
Clarisse La Rue was no stranger to battle. She’d fought in wars, led armies, and stared death in the face more times than she could count. But nothing in her life as a warrior prepared her for living with Blake Rivers. Blake, her brilliant and annoyingly perfect wife, was everything Clarisse didn’t think she needed—soft-spoken but stubborn, creative but grounded, and utterly unshakable in her love for all things green and growing.
Their apartment near New Rome University had become a jungle, thanks to Blake’s Demeter heritage. The balcony was overrun with herbs, flowering vines, and even a small pomegranate tree. Inside wasn’t much better; terracotta pots covered every windowsill and shelf. Clarisse grumbled about tripping over planters, but secretly, she liked the way the apartment smelled—like mint and lavender, with a hint of citrus.
What Clarisse didn’t like was Basil.
The python, named ironically by Blake, had been a gift from a fellow Demeter kid. It was supposed to keep pests away from the plants, but instead, it had decided Blake was its personal heat lamp. It wasn’t uncommon for Clarisse to wake up in the middle of the night to find the massive snake curled around her wife, its tongue flicking lazily as if mocking her.
“Basil, get off the bed,” Clarisse growled one night, trying to shove the snake off Blake’s torso.
“He’s fine, Clarisse,” Blake mumbled, half-asleep.
“No, he’s not fine. He’s in the way!”
Basil flicked his tongue at her, unmoving. Clarisse grumbled under her breath about needing a monster-slaying license for their bedroom.
Despite the snake, life was good. Clarisse loved her job as a hands-on combat instructor at New Rome University. She’d always been better at action than words, and teaching kids how to fight—really fight—felt natural. Most of her students were eager to learn, though some had ulterior motives.
“Professor La Rue, do you have plans this weekend?” one bold student asked after class one day.
Clarisse rolled her eyes. “Yeah, my plan is to grade your terrible essays on shield formations. Get moving.”
She didn’t wear her wedding ring to work—too much risk of it getting damaged during sparring—but she’d never thought much about it. Her students saw her as a gruff, unattainable figure, and that was fine with her.
But everything changed one evening when a first-year named Mateo showed up at her office, looking sheepish.
“My roommate kicked me out,” he admitted, shuffling his feet. “I don’t have anywhere to go tonight.”
Clarisse sighed. She wasn’t good at this emotional stuff, but she couldn’t leave the kid stranded.
“Come on,” she said, grabbing her bag. “You can crash at my place for dinner until we figure something out.”
Blake greeted them at the door, her hair tied back in a messy bun, hands dusted with flour. She’d been baking—again.
“Hey, love,” she said, leaning up to kiss Clarisse on the cheek. “Who’s this?”
“This is Mateo,” Clarisse said gruffly. “He’s having some roommate drama. We’re feeding him.”
Mateo froze, eyes wide. “Wait… you’re married?”
Clarisse groaned. “Yeah. So what?”
“You’re married to her?” Mateo pointed at Blake, who was setting the table.
Blake laughed. “Surprised?”
“Uh… yeah? You don’t wear a ring or talk about her or—”
“Look, kid,” Clarisse cut him off. “I don’t owe anyone my life story. Now sit down before the food gets cold.”
Mateo ate dinner with them, but the news spread faster than wildfire. By the next day, the entire university knew that Clarisse La Rue, the legendary daughter of Ares, was married—and married to a daughter of Demeter, no less.
“Professor La Rue, is it true your wife grows your lunches?” one student asked during a sparring session.
“Professor, can we meet your wife?” another chimed in.
Clarisse barked at them to get back to work, but the questions didn’t stop. Blake, of course, thought it was hilarious.
“You’re a campus legend now,” she teased, watering the herbs on their balcony.
Clarisse scowled, leaning against the doorway. “I liked it better when they thought I was single and scary.”
Blake smiled, setting down her watering can. “Well, I like it better now. Maybe they’ll stop hitting on you.”
“Doubt it,” Clarisse muttered, but she couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips.
As much as she hated the attention, she couldn’t deny one thing: life with Blake—even with all the plants and that damn snake—was the best thing that had ever happened to her.

hmm having some mild work insecurities after that meeting that only went okay today.
I do think that sometimes it can be challenging for me to work with our STEM faculty on stuff because like, I cannot overstate how little I understand about STEM fields. I haven’t taken a math or science class I even vaguely understood since high school and I get kind of embarrassed by how completely unprepared I am to even ask intelligent questions about their work, let alone understand it. I think in some ways a STEM PhD really would’ve been a better hire for this job just because that’s where most of the energy and growth is at this school. I think I bring other skills to this job that balance out the areas where I’m not as strong, but I do want to think about how I can like… build up some knowledge that might help me and learn how to ask better questions. like clearly I will never be able to be a thought partner for them when it comes to the subject matter in their field but I suspect that with time/work I can get to a point where I can be an actually useful partner on the pedagogy and assessment side. and I need to be actively moving myself in that direction instead of getting stuck in the stagnant fearful place of trying to conceal how much I don’t know. I think I want to carve out some time (god knows when) to actually sit down and think through this and maybe set some initial goals for myself to be working towards. some of those goals can be really simple—like, I would like to have even the most basic understanding of what machine learning is and what R, Python, etc are (or insert random other topics) so I don’t start sweating anytime someone mentions those things lol. but then on a more complex level: there are all these journal articles about course-based research projects in various fields and at different levels and I would like to just make a list of key fields and start reading through some articles so that when I’m talking to people I can cite models of what this work looks like in the classroom. and I think doing that work of really deep-diving into specific examples will help me learn more about what the research process looks like in different fields so that I have clearer schema for future conversations and future research. I just have to remember that the panicky fearful “I don’t know enough and so I must deflect/obfuscate/stall” reaction is what made R who she was lol. feeling insecure does not mean that I am Flawed or Bad At My Job. it just means that I have knowledge and experience gaps, and I can put my energy towards concealing those gaps or I can put it towards learning new things that will help me close them.
