Oh look I dropped some fics.

I was going through my deleted text file bc I just deleted some text (as you do) from a WIP, and I discovered some old deleted scenes that I’m rather fond of. While they didn’t suit the stories they were in originally, I thought they might be good enough to post alone as ficlets.. So now those are up.

Deleted from “Path to Attolis” bc “Path to Attolis” was basically a ton of fragmented scenes taking place between Queen of Attolia and King of Attolia, and two of the scenes I’d written were too similar for them to both advance the plot. This is the one I rejected.

Jordan wondered how long it would take Daisy to get around to bringing Gatsby up, after the big mess. She finally did it in late May, when the summer was just about to return again and yet not quite there yet, and she and Jordan were once again standing on the porch looking out at the water.

Deleted from “The Merits of a Merger” bc “The Merits of a Merger” was basically a long fic about Jordan trying and failing to make her relationship with Nick work and this fic is a Jordan/Daisy scene. Lovely, but it was going to be the ending of “The Merits of a Merger”, and I realized at the last second that it would basically change the entire direction of the fic. But I still think it’s a good scene, so here it is.
