Ch 11 of "missing pieces," Kendall/Stewy, Kendall/Lukas, Stewy/Josh Aaronson, rated E. Just as things were starting to look up, Daniel Farke's press conference ahead of the first of two tough away fixtures confirmed the depressing news that Ethan Ampadu probably won't be able to play again until January, Max Wober's injury requires surgery and he'll be out for another couple of months, Dan James and Manor Solomon are still not available and Isaac Schmidt is also injured.

Our starting line up against Norwich still looked pretty strong, but things soon got worse on the injury front when Ilia Gruev had to leave the field in the 20th minute.

Under the circumstances this was a good point away from home. Norwich are a much better team than the likes of Coventry and Cardiff, and for most of the game they were happy to concede a lot of possession to Leeds, soak up the pressure and hit us on the break.

Leeds started the brighter of the two teams, but Norwich took the lead from the penalty spot in the 15th minute after a rash challenge on Josh Sargent by Joe Rodon.

A couple of minutes later, a shot from Willy Gnonto was deflected onto the post and cleared, but the rest of the half was pretty turgid with neither side really threatening to add to the score.

Leeds finally made a breakthrough on the hour mark after Gnonto burst into the area and played the ball wide for Large Ramazani, who fired an unstoppable shot into the far corner of the net. A few minutes later a clear foul on Gnonto should have resulted in a penalty to Leeds but it wasn't given.

Farke's second half substitutions seemed to derail our momentum, but he was clearly trying to keep his key players fresh for our encounter with Sunderland in three days time….

Just blogging.

There was a time when I was devoted to writing a series about Josh Aaronson, of all people, and now here I am obsessing over Nate Sofrelli in multiple incarnations. Roman is the most prominent character I ever regularly write and he's always relegated to B-plots on the show. I'm hopeless.

Speaking of more prominent characters, I've got Kendall up next in a UST-driven kenstewylukas chapter that will be an absolute monster that I'm unlikely to even start until next week for my own sanity, though it's all plotted out. It'll get the fic all the way through to post-canon, which is the important thing.
