Loose theory: Pomni liked urban exploring in abandoned buildings. What if she found her VR headset in a building she broke into? That would imply the office is empty and the company has been shut down. Which would maybe explain why none of the characters have been taken out of the circus- if they're all in an abandoned building.

cause Bruce "Brucie" Wayne was only allowed to be feminine in ways that the public saw as acceptable, and he had to be a father to all of his kids, and he had to be like his dad Alfred... he could never entertain the thought of perhaps, maybe, not being a ... Man.

And then his kids in a cute little prank gift him things for mother's day and with each one he feels loved and seen and appreciated and throughout slowly realizes that as long as he has his family he can be whoever he wants to be (whoever she needs to be)

Dick tries to say that he knew all along and planned this specifically to show his dad (mom?) that they loved him. Jason calls his bluff and they end up grappling each other

Hc all the batkids decide to give Bruce Happy Mothers day as a prank

. Dick comes up with the idea and gets everyone to sign a Happy Mother's Day card that he made

. Jason buys him a watch with a small card saying "Happy Mother's day, loser"

. Cass buys him a mug that says "Best Mother in the world" (Shiva will later find out and fistfight Bruce because of it)

. Tim makes a gadget that Bruce had projected but had no time to actually build, and leaves it on his desk in a small gift box

. Duke has No Idea how other people are going about the prank and decides to buy him flowers

. Damian paints Martha Wayne (Tim helps by finding him several reference pictures)

They all think they're going to make Bruce Very Uncomfortable. Because well, he's not a mother. He's their father. Guys, Bruce starts sobbing by the end of the day. He hugs them and won't let go. Plan sucessfully backfired.

I love how at different points in this episode, Jax and Ragatha look like they're gonna jump each other.

Marvel has been quiet for the past thirty minutes in a meeting about magical creatures in invading earth (again), not even laughing at Hal or Barry's jokes, and he has this guilty look on his face (avoiding eye contact, slight frown, etc.)

Batman: Marvel, do you have anything to add?

Marvel: ... *suspiciously looking around*

Green lantern: OH GOD WHY ARE HIS CHEEKS MOVING

Marvel: *runs away with the sound of squeaking following him*

Flash: *sighs* I'll get him...

The entire justice league pauses their conversations and does one of those slow turns towards the captain

The Justice League basically has to keep an eye on him anytime he's near anything important because the feral eight year old street rat can't help himself

do you think that everyone in the justice league think captain marvel is gay?

because they know he's uncomfortable with women flirting with him. women hang on his arms and bat their eyelashes and make salacious comments... he always slips away, nervous laughter and rubbing the back of his head, making an excuse to get away (Billy is only 12 and no one knows and he doesn't like the way the women speak to him)

because he's always got that starry eyed look on his face when he talks to Batman and Superman, even though he's been heroing as long as they have. yet Wonder Woman and him have a far more casual relationship. (billy always wanted to be Batman and Superman growing up, and Diana is more of a sister to him than anything)

because he excitedly showed the team pictures of him at Fawcett Pride last summer, rainbows on his cheeks and glitter all over his cape (it was Pedro's first year going to pride so they all went, and Billy went as Marvel to dissuade protesters)

because he tenses up when people ask about his civilian life, and gets defensive, saying his relationships aren't league business (he means his familial relationships, he doesn't want to give too much away and have them find how he's actually a kid)

and the league starts to wonder... does Captain Marvel think they don't support him? Cue aggressively LGBTQIA+ supportive League, trying to show the Captain they care.

(Billy is so confused, why is everyone telling him that love is love and that they'll care about him no matter how he feels? Why are adults so fucking weird?!)

“first time” drawing ragatha, she is one of my least favorite characters but it was fun to draw her in my aus
