Getting ready for the Ren Fair! I purchased a set of Wudu Nail Rings online from the OG tiktoc creator.... but they still haven't arrived so I took matters into my own nails!
As a little experiment, I made these using 12 gauge aluminum wire from Joann fabrics($4) and a wire cutter. Very easy to make and was a fun project to keep me entertained until my package arrives. Now, all that's left to do is glue the nails to the rings and see how they wear tomorrow. If I don't post an update, it probably didn't go well XD

Val, but PINK
A little experiment I did with Val. Currently a little obsessed with this look...
I like the combination of colours in this outfit and appearance, but it's not going to be a permanent change for Val. Val's just modelling some stuff for a new OC. I think Val can pull it off tho. Might need to have a set with both of them when I've created her.

Chance - a Story from Metropolis
Everybody always calls him God, but that’s just not right. I heard once that every time you meet him, it’s like meeting him for the first time. That sounds right to me.
Every time I see him, it’s like falling into the sky.
There’s a bomb on the door to my bank this morning. I’ll never get why crooks still come to Metropolis, especially with Gotham right across the water.
Maybe they love him too.
The bomb ticks down.
Ten, nine, eight. Everybody runs away.
Seven, six, five. There’s a guy with a big fancy gun. I don’t care.
Four. Now is my chance.
Three. I start running.
Two. I hit the door. The bomb is right against my chest.
One.
The air cracks, and the world turns blue.
“You have to stop this, Chance.”
We’re on a rooftop. He sets me down on my feet, and I catch a glimpse of his eyes. He’s disappointed.
A streak of blue and red, a hurricane follows. I’m alone.
I can still feel his arms around me, how warm he is. Like being carried by the sun.
Falling.

it sucks so bad that 'lightning magic' in every media is just some pathetic little strands of electricity. i wanna see some LIGHTNING. show me a magic setting where lightning magic lights up a room like the sun, and the bolt is only visible as an afterimage burned into your vision. I wanna see someone cast lightning and have the thunder rattling the room and shaking everyone to their core. i want lightning magic to be a split second blast of so much power it leaves everyone's senses reeling. c'mon guys don't you know what real lightning looks like? we can be doing so much better than this.

Being forcefully raised as a woman is not any less traumatic and emotionally repressive as being forcefully raised as a man. Femininity is not inherently pure and safe. Coercing someone to perform femininity is not any less toxic than coerced masculinity. Being dysphoric around femininity or having trauma from women doesn’t make you a misogynist.
