always been a fan of how his hand is drawn in this frame. the pose + detail of the wrist is a small thing, but in the episode he appears in before this one, his hand isn't as clearly defined—it's a subtle way to show how his powers have developed, which is fitting for the episode and this scene!

for you page
— a few rookies rent a house near silverstone and secretly film chaotic f1-themed tiktoks. netflix finds out only after one of the videos goes viral. now there's a race to secure the rights before it hits mainstream media.
all credits in my main masterlist!! <33
oscar piastri stared at his phone in horror. "guys," he called out to his housemates, voice cracking. "we might have a situation."
logan sargeant and liam lawson looked up from where they were attempting to do the dance for their latest tiktok.
"define 'situation,'" liam said, still holding a makeshift podium trophy made from empty red bull cans.
"remember that video we made last week? the one where we recreated famous team radio messages using only cat meows?"
logan froze mid-dance move. "the one where i did christian horner's angry voice as a persian cat?"
"it has four million views. and netflix just called."
the infamous silverstone share house fell silent, save for the distant sound of their neighbor mowing the lawn – which they were pretty sure was actually lewis hamilton in disguise, trying to figure out what they'd been up to for the past three months.
their tiktok account, @ f1rookielife, had started innocently enough. just three young drivers sharing a rental house, making content to pass the time between races. how were they supposed to know their "day in the life of an f1 seat (starring an actual racing seat)" would go viral?
oscar's phone buzzed again. "oh god," he muttered. "now will buxton wants to do a dramatic piece to camera about it."
"delete the drafts folder," logan practically screamed, diving for his phone. "especially the one where we did 'mean girls' but it's all about porpoising!"
but it was too late. netflix producer sarah wilson was already sending screenshots. somehow, they'd found the video titled "pov: you're toto wolff's table during a race."
"my dad's going to kill me," oscar whispered, thinking of all the videos where he'd perfectly mimicked christian horner's dramatic monologues while wearing a red bull onesie.
liam was frantically scrolling through their content. "maybe it's not that bad. i mean, apart from the 'whose team principal is it anyway?' series... and the 'f1 drivers as vines' compilation... and that interpretive dance about ferrari strategy..."
there was a knock at the door.
all three rookies froze. logan, still wearing a fake mustache from their "by gawd, that's fernando alonso's music!" wrestling parody, looked like he was about to pass out.
the door opened to reveal daniel ricciardo, grinning his trademark grin. "guys," he said, holding up his phone, "your 'brokeback paddock' skit about the ferrari mechanics? absolute gold."
before they could respond, more notifications started flooding in.
"charles leclerc just duetted our 'i'm just a girl, standing in front of a strategy team, asking them to pit me' video," oscar announced, voice weak.
liam checked his own phone. "max just shared our 'dutch anthem but it's played on simulator pedals' post."
"guys?" logan was staring at his screen. "why is fernando alonso requesting access to our private backup account?"
another knock at the door. this time it was the netflix crew, cameras already rolling.
"we want exclusive rights," sarah declared, stepping into their living room, which was still decorated with various props including a life-size cardboard cutout of günther steiner wearing a flower crown.
"but—" oscar started.
"is that a script for 'keeping up with the karmines'?" sarah pointed to a notebook. "and... is that a storyboard for 'the real housedrivers of monaco'?"
liam tried to subtly kick their box of fake wigs under the couch. "we can explain..."
more phones buzzed. their latest video had just dropped: "if shakespeare wrote team radio (feat. special guest seb vettel as hamlet)."
"how did you get sebastian vettel to—" sarah began.
"he just showed up one day," logan explained. "said something about the youth needing guidance in sustainable content creation."
oscar's phone rang. it was zak brown. "mate," his boss said, "your 'mclaren mechanics do surgery on a diffuser' interpretive ballet? that's getting you a contract extension."
outside, they could hear the sound of more cars pulling up. george russell had apparently seen their "powerpoint presentations but they're about overtaking strategies" series and wanted to collaborate.
"look," sarah said, "netflix wants first rights to all of it. the behind-the-scenes, the bloopers, especially the 'real reason for porpoising' musical number."
"the what?" came toto wolff's voice from the doorway. nobody had heard him arrive.
liam quickly closed the laptop that was playing their latest project: "drive to survive but every dramatic pause is replaced with yuki tsunoda saying 'bruh.'"
"we'll give you creative control," sarah offered desperately, watching as more drivers and team principals began gathering outside the house. "just... please tell me you got that video of christian horner doing a dramatic monologue about his coffee machine."
"that wasn't us," oscar admitted. "that was actually just christian being christian."
another notification: their "formula 1 drivers as vines (part 43)" had just been shared by f1's official account.
"fine," logan sighed, accepting their fate. "but nobody sees the 'real housedrivers' footage until after i retire."
"deal," sarah said quickly, just as lewis hamilton walked in wearing a gardening outfit that probably cost more than their house.
"so," lewis said, pulling off his designer sunglasses, "about that 'fashion week but it's racing suits' series you've been filming in my garden..."
somewhere in maranello, charles leclerc was already practicing for their next video: "ferrari strategy meetings but they're taylor swift songs."
the rookies looked at each other. they'd created a monster. a very entertaining, potentially career-ending monster.
"at least we didn't post the 'kardashians but it's team principals' series," oscar whispered.
liam checked his phone one last time. "about that..."
the sound of toto wolff discovering his role as kris jenner could be heard all the way to brackley.

Story Process Tag by @herpixels
I was tagged by @dynastiasimss - Thank you so much for tagging me!! 😊💖💗 This will most definitely get a bit wordy because I’m terrible at explaining things concisely! 😂 Also, I’ll mostly be talking about my process for 2.B.A Grandmaster but I’ll touch on my process for Erin in San Myshuno too!
I’m also going to get tags out of the way up here so that no one has to scroll all the way through this ... absolute novel that is under the cut LMAO so I tag: @cyansimblr @x-simss @matchacake and any other simblrs who wanna do this!! and feel free to skip if you want!
1. Your writing process My writing process is very, very chaotic, and changes with the wind... Erin in San Myshuno doesn’t really have a process, I just play the game and then put in some dialogue based on the events. None of it is guided by my hand at all though! 2.B.A Grandmaster on the other hand is written in part based on what happens in game and in part by my own creative vision. Most of the time, I let stuff happen, and then fill in the blanks in between events. I go in game, play Sims as I normally would (skill build, take care of needs, go out to venues, etc.) and then watch what weird and interesting things happen. For example, Augusta’s meeting with Xavier in the beginning was completely the game’s doing! He was the only one to show up for the Welcome Wagon event, so I rolled with that. Scenes like Kaitlin’s meeting with Maverick and those sort of things are planned by me, as they’re necessary to create a more full narrative! It’s like collaborative storytelling, but my “partner” is a game that is weird and random and crazy. 😂 After stuff happens in game and I get screenshots, I then actually write for it. I chose to write novel style for the series because - as some of my long-term followers may remember - I had another story that was just screenshots with dialogue on them? And it was very hard, LOL, it didn’t suit my workflow very well and I ended up dropping it after a month or so. I wanted 2.B.A Grandmaster to be something I could post consistently, and so I opted for a style that I was more familiar and experienced with!
2. Scene building For the most part, I just work with what sims gives me, but as I mentioned above, some scenes I actually go to the trouble of setting up. For those, I still use the sims animations mostly (I’ve used poses about 3 times in 2.B.A Grandmaster so far) but I do usher my sims around the "set” as I see fit. I build a lot of my own lots and locations for 2.B.A GM because I tend to get a vision in my mind of what I want and refuse to settle for less. 😂 One such case is the scene where Maverick meets up with Octavia--
I made the alleyway we see here - it’s two entirely empty buildings sandwiched side by side on an otherwise empty lot in Oasis Springs. The only part I bothered to decorate was the alley itself because I knew I wasn’t going to use the rest of the area, but maybe we’ll revisit it sometime and I’ll finish the two buildings! I actually loved making this set and like how it turned out, LOL~
Then I just have whatever sims are involved in a scene interact with each other for ages until I feel like I have enough screenshots to make a scene. I usually have a vague idea of what’s going to be said in any given scene - especially the ones I actually planned out beforehand - but I get some excess screenshots to be safe. I try lots of different interactions and pause like every few frames to get interesting expressions and stuff, LOL. Lots of “Complain about Cold Weather” and “Give fake bad news” ...
3. CC/Pose making I don’t actually make my own CC for 2.B.A GM specifically (I’ve made a couple eyeshadows but I don’t use them super frequently) but there is a scene coming up in the future that I plan to make poses for. I have a very clear image in my mind that includes a lot of subtle expressions and very specific things that I doubt I could find poses for, so I’m gonna have to brave the terrifying landscape of blender in order to make it a reality. 😧
4. Getting in the zone I don’t have any sort of “ok, show time” ritual like some people do but I wish I did, because my motivation waxes and wanes so unpredictably. Some days I just don’t feel like doing anything, and other days I edit and write for 5 posts in a row! I am always listening to something though, usually music, every once in a blue moon a video with lots of talking. 5. Screenshot folder
UGH...
6. Captions I don’t do captions on 2.B.A GM posts, but for my city living gameplay I do! I keep them simple, because I don’t want to make it too much work for myself. Erin in San Myshuno’s style of editing is 100% based around ease, because I wanted something to post often that didn’t put too much of a strain on me. Verdana in white, typically 35-40 px, with a gradient border. Each sim we encounter has a different gradient color, usually based on their outfit or just the ~vibe~ I get from them. Erin’s gradient is Hot pink to ... gee, what would you call it. Sonic the Hedgehog Blue LMAO-- I chose that gradient because that’s the color of the overlay, which I’ll talk more about in the next section!
7. Editing My two ‘series’ - and I use that term loosely LMAO - have different editing processes, so I’ll try to summarize them both. Basically, for 2.B.A Grandmaster, I touch up the saturation and brightness depending on the scene. If it’s evening in the shots, I usually won’t touch brightness, and if it’s night, I might even lower it a bit for more accurate lighting! Once that’s done, I blur everything but relevant elements of a scene, usually the character we’re following or who is speaking. I have to select the character from the background manually which takes a bit, but other than that it’s very minimal.
My shots aren’t super glamorous, but I prefer simple screenshots and actually being able to keep up with a story schedule as opposed to what happened with my last story. 😬 As for Erin in San Myshuno, barring captions which I only do when I feel it’s necessary, it’s literally just an overlay on otherwise untouched screenshots. 😭 I would do more, but again, it’s supposed to be an easy downtime sort of series for me so~
This goes over top all screenshots on the “Add” setting at 20% opacity. It brightens things up and softens them, as well as making the colors slightly more harmonious! If anyone wants me to go more in depth on editing, or maybe captions, please let me know! I’m happy to talk about it if it’ll help anyone, and I know that a lot of tutorials cover how to do stuff in Photoshop, whereas I use FireAlpaca (which is 100% free btw! It’s more of an art program, but not bad for editing) 8. Throwback!
Oh boy, so this is one of my first posts on simblr. For starters, I didn’t know about camera mode at the time, so that’s the first thing I would change obviously LOL. 😬 The framing I did at the time was ... cute, but it makes the pictures feel kind of cramped and small in my opinion, so I did away with that for all of my later stories. Also, Amy and Gemma aren’t very well centered in this picture! Other than that, this isn’t actually terrible I don’t think, so aside from maybe blurring the background as I do on 2.B.A GM now, I wouldn’t change too much! Thankfully, I had observed other people’s stories before making my own on here for a little bit, so I wasn’t starting with absolutely no idea what to do, but I still think I’ve improved since I made these. 😊
This was a ton of fun!! If anyone has questions or wants more info on anything I covered in here, absolutely feel free to ask, and thank you so much if you actually read through all of this - I know I rambled for quite a while!! 🙏

Let me be the first to bring you the latest simming trend, before all the cool cliques kids jump on it: turning your sims into shiny plastic dolls and then “packaging” them into a framed background!
How is this achieved, you might ask? It’s so simple!
First, you must abandon your attempt at making a render after failing to apply the sim’s diffuse image to the render you’re trying to make. Make sure you stew about this. Make sure you feel like a big dummy even though you’re not really into renders anyway and you don’t connect with the pervasive simblr “aesthetic.” Which is fine, but it’s like... (not for you). Like, you like art for art’s sake but the whole thing reminds you of claymation, which is cool, but like--okay, remember “Celebrity Death Match”? Anyway, regardless, it’s just, like... you want to try something new just to see if you can do it. What’s the fuss about? You’d be happy just to try it once, just to see, but then everything just makes you feel so stup--
Then, about 24 hours after your initial failure(s) and existential spiral, locate a video tutorial that walks you through the texture application process a different way. Make lots of mistakes while following it. After approximately 25 minutes, follow it correctly! :D Nod silently. You’ve always been a visual learner. Well, visual and auditory. But more visual. So. Wait. Visual and hands-on, now that you think of it. Yes. Definitely. Definitely hands-on.
Next, start to set up your camera/lighting in Blender, once again following the written tutorial you pored over last night. Do everything wrong every time you start over (three times). When you’re not doing it wrong, do it right, but freeze, because none of the options in the screenshots you’re following can be located on your own screen. Start over. Scroll back up to the portion of the tutorial that references the last thing you did right and have your eye caught by reference to an “.obj” file. Close Blender.
Reopen Blender. Open up the last project you did correctly. Export it as an .obj file. Close Blender, then navigate to the folder in which you’ve saved your .obj file. Double click the .obj file to open it, smirking.
Paint3D pops up, and look! A weird inflatable PVC pool toy of your sim! Play around with it. Fiddle with the light. Animate it. Muse that despite this sim being the hottest male you have in your game, with many aesthetic qualities that you appreciate in real life men (mostly accidental, even though you made him!), gee, uh... he’s... kind of... u...g...l...y...?
Save your goofy little PVC person as an image, in the biggest size available.
Open the saved image file in your favorite image editing program, Photoscape X Pro, which you’re sure, like, three people have heard of. You suspect that this program is not the Pepsi to Photoshop’s Coca Cola, but is, rather, the Great Value Cola. Shake it off. You like it and that’s what counts, hmmph!, but that you like it is what makes you question its quality.
Mess around with the saved image file, adding adjustments, effects, frames, backgrounds, whatever, while simultaneously thinking that you’re stupid, what you’re doing is stupid, this is stupid, this looks stupid, this is kind of funny, this is kind of cute, actually, actually, you know what? This is so silly I’m going to post it with a dumbass, fake-ass, long tutorial that no one’s going to read but you know what? I figured out how to stick that damn texture on that model render thing and I like my screenshots and adjustments and frames and stuff and I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, people like me that’s good enough for me.
(Sound convincing?)
Post it all. Post it all to the internet!
I did smile pretty big when that texture appeared in the right spot, but... boy, yeah, I’m out (at least until a couple months from now when I give it another try and it either all clicks or I end up dropkicking my laptop). Congratulations to all who can render; I look forward to letting the next trend pass me by. When I was at a point in my rendering project when success seemed on the horizon, I couldn’t help but think of a book title that accurately described the experience for me; I’m no David Foster Wallace fan, but even if I were to ~render a render, it all felt like A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again.

Apology to batuuprincess
I would like to issue an apology to @batuuprincess for the earlier posting of her fanfic update to ‘Single Parents’ that had a snake head attached. I have deleted it (because I could not find the edit button on mobile, only the delete, so I immediately deleted it.)
I would like to reiterate that it was not done in malice. It was purely an accident. I do not access tumblr through my laptop (except to write this post), but through mobile. I do not know if anyone notices, but when you reblog a post, you can usually see the pics on your gallery pop up below, whether it was taken as a picture through your camera or a pic you received from other apps such as google hangouts or even screenshots (a picture roll is automatically loaded whenever a reblog will be made). In this case, i the snake was a picture sent personally through Viber (a phone and messaging app). I must have accidentally clicked the pic to attach it to the post. (please refer to the pic below the cut what it looks like on mobile, but warning! It is gory) It was a seriously grave lapse on my part and I was not careful enough as I usually just mindlessly put tags on reblogs, esp when I am scrolling through the damerey tag to replenish the queue.
In Viber, I have a thread with my family. My mother sent pictures of an obliterated snake she found in our backyard that was most probably because of our outdoor cats. I remember seeing it not just through Viber, but when I started queueing some posts for damereyconnection because it was during that time that the snake that my mother found was being talked about in our family Viber group chat. That was a personal pic shared to me and my siblings by our mother because it was shocking news.
I am really sorry for the anger and confusion. It was an honest mistake, and it was not some underhanded comment or shade to throw. I do not add anything to any reblogs and posts shared in this tumblr. I do not ever post anything personal on damereyconnection tumblr as well as my personal one.
As for the other accusations thrown my way such as what @rinskiroo is stating, I do not know what you are accusing me of, and I will also say that I am not doing whatever it is that you think I am doing, such as leaving hate comments (unless you are exaggerating this one mistake I made). Apparently, someone is spreading rumors about me (?). While I take it with a grain of salt what is said about me online that I do not even see or read or made aware of or cannot even verify (honestly, why would I think people I have never met, who are from another country, will talk excessively about me? I have never had any inclination to think that I was a hot topic of discussion by virtual strangers), apparently people are spreading lies about me behind my back and accusing me of doing things I have not done. So I will be posting a separate post explaining and clarifying things on my end and also to address a certain admin post made here.
So again, I would like to apologize to @batuuprincess for the mistake I made. Again, I did not post that intentionally, but accidentally. I took it down as soon as I was made aware of it. I also personally messaged @batuuprincess immediately to apologize when I learned about the post and explained to her.
-@lunarischrysalis
*Please refer below the cut how a reblog on the tumblr app on mobile looks like. As you can see, the picture roll shows the snake head that I received from the Viber group chat from my family. Pics that I receive on Viber is automatically stored in a folder for Viber on my gallery (along with images from Discord or Google hangouts, WhatsApp) and it automatically registers on the picture roll whenever a reblog will be made on tumblr mobile app because the tumblr mobile app shows the latest pics added to my gallery, whether it’s taken from my cam or screenshots I took or images shared to me through other apps.
WARNING: The picture below the cut is gory so please proceed with caution.

The pics on the right are from Viber (the ones I got from my mother) while the pic on the very left is a screenshot I made of an Instagram post. That is the picture roll I was talking about.

[Translation:
Line 1 (from my brother): Haha, looks like the cats found the snake delicious
Line 2 (from my mother): That’s still a bit big]
These are screenshots of the Viber group chat of my family where the pics were shared to me. I blacked out personal information.

Listen, I got so caught up in Tyrus Week, spending hours and hours going through tags and liking posts and queuing reblogs, that I pretty much pushed everything else to the side. (Plus I’ve also been working on the next thing I’ll tell you guys about in the next few days.)
All that is to say, I got a lot of stuff in my inbox this last week, so I’m just going to tackle a bunch of them in... A LIGHTNING ROUND.
Let’s go.
And before you ask, yes, I made a graphic for it.
Looks like this Andi Mack finale party has turned into... a death party.
Would’ve been a strange choice for Terri Minsky to turn the finale of Andi Mack into a murder mystery, but if that’s what she wanted, I’d trust her.
I don’t watch that show but I know some people who do and they’ve told me it’s just light and airy and pleasant, so, yeah, sounds right up Cyrus’s alley.
You guys are shouting Lightning Round! every time the graphic comes up, right?
I, like TJ, am just some guy. I tell everyone who asks to call me Jay. Jay is long for “J”, which is short for another name that I, also like TJ, only let people related to me by blood or my soulmate know about. I will say it’s not Jagger, though. I wish.
That wasn’t my intention while writing TJ and the Gals, but as with all art, or whatever TJ and the Gals was, once it’s out of the creator’s hands, it belongs to the people.
No.
Thelonious Jagger Kippen Is A Hashtag Good Boi.
Shoutout to my FAQ page, where you can find information like this and more. Not blaming you, anon, I’ve gotten this a lot and the FAQ page is hard to find. I mostly just delete the question and let the anon live in mystery because I’m chaotic something. I’m only answering this now because it’s the
You know the shook_bitch? Thank them from me for getting Disney Channel to respond to them, and congratulate them on being the subject of the best comment the Disney Channel Instagram account ever made.
Yeah, I went back and checked and Jonah only says in 3x12 that his dad made a bad investment, not lost a job or anything.
It really seems like he’s been managing the Judy Bartholomew fortune all these years. We don’t know anything else of him other than he was once a background workout video guy and he has at least enough knowledge about baseball to coach little league.
Hopefully the new job is providing him with a solid salary, but if not, I think the world is ready for a Judy Bartholomew comeback.
Judy Bartholomew: Still Trottin’ After All These Years
I’m not entirely sure exactly which girl we’re talking about here. I think this one:
I will say, she does seem into it. She’s like, oh, things are about to get gay in here.
Honestly, there were so many background actors killing it in this scene.
You’ve got this guy...
...who hears the beginning of “Born This Way” and reacts like it’s ruined his evening. I mean, I was a little tired of it, too, when it was being played on the radio over and over and over, but it’s been some years. It’s not overplayed as much anymore and it definitely wouldn’t make me this upset. (He pops up later in the song and is happily dancing, so maybe he thought it was the beginning of a different song?)
Then there’s this girl...
...who is feeling it. She’s like, hell yeah, this is my jam!
And there’s this girl in the goggles...
...who, after TJ and Cyrus sing the “be myself, respect my youth” part, is like, okayyyy. I see you.
Here’s a fun(?) behind-the-scenes thing for this blog. A few months back, I was thinking about ways to replace “Moments” if we had, by some miracle, gotten a season four, since I would’ve run out of moments weeks after the finale. What I came up with was “The Random Andi Mack Extra of the Day.” It would’ve just been screenshots of random extras throughout the show’s run. Upon some reflection, this was a bad idea.
The first problem here is that I get the feeling those posts would’ve gotten, at most, 20-30 notes each, because no one really cares about random, out of context extras and it doesn’t seem like a thing people would want to reblog.
The second problem is, knowing myself, I probably would’ve spent hundreds of hours during the hiatus between s3 and s4 making 1000 of them in the first place, just so I could have them ready to go. I would’ve absolutely done this without testing the waters first to see if there was any interest. (Just like with the “Moments.” I made like 300 of them before I made the first post about them.)
So, the most likely scenario was going to be me, two weeks into “The RAMEotD,” looking at flopping posts, then looking at my folder of 800 screenshots of Andi Mack extras and going, “Well, what am I going to do, not post them? I already did all the work!” And I would keeping queuing them up, and they would keep appearing on this blog every day, and they would taunt me with their 22 notes. You remember the work you did? IT WAS FOR BUT A PITTANCE!
So I guess what I’m saying is maybe it’s for the best. The cancellation saves me from myself.
Hey, though, heads up. If and when you go back and watch the series again, pay attention to the extras -- the unsung heroes of the entertainment industry. There are some extras reallllly putting in work on this show. It absolutely adds to the delightful quality of Andi Mack. Every time I would spot someone in the background being goofy or really overselling whatever they were supposed to be experiencing, it filled me with joy.
It’s a fun show. Everything about it is fun, including the little details.
Ooh, a serious one. This is going to be my first ever hybrid Discussion/Analysis post.
Okay, so I think we’re talking about two different things here.
I won’t argue that I think Tyrus could have absolutely happened sooner and been explored more.
I obviously can’t say with certainty, but I assume that was at least somewhat the plan leading out of season two. The setup for their relationship was all already there by the end of it. They’d met, they had bumps, they grew really close, and they capped the whole season off with TJ looking back at Cyrus. All the elements were in place that you could jump right into this storyline in TJ’s next appearance. (Not necessarily them canoning, but at least the exploration of TJ’s feelings or some movement towards canoning.)
When Cyrus’s lookback happened, it was addressed in the very next episode (granted following a break in seasons). I don’t know that TJ’s would’ve been as immediate, but I don’t think you have him look back in the season two finale if you don’t intend on truly paying it off for 21 episodes. (Or, at least 13, if you want to say 3x13 was the real start of a storyline involving TJ’s homosexuality.)
So, yeah, look, I’m speculating wildly, but I would imagine the original creative idea was to address TJ’s lookback early in season three and start getting into it, and that, yes, that idea was likely kiboshed from above.
What I will argue is that the bench scene is subtle but not ambiguous. We’ve made the semi-joke constantly around here that there’s “No heterosexual explanation for this!” but, truly, there is no heterosexual explanation for the bench scene: two boys, one of whom has already explicitly stated he’s gay, slowly reaching for and holding each other’s hands, intertwining their fingers while they sit by the fire and stare into each other’s eyes, nervously smiling. This is something that has been built towards for multiple seasons. If you’ve been watching the show, if you’ve been paying attention to it, if you care about the characters, especially TJ and Cyrus, it’s very clear what’s happening here.
This feels like talking about people who weren’t sure Cyrus was gay after the first two times he came out because he didn’t use the word. Or people who thought Cyrus wasn’t gay anymore after he said his crush on Jonah was gone. I sympathize with some of the younger set who maybe don’t have the world sense to follow along with this, but, come on, at some point, we’re three seasons in and you have to keep up with the level of the storytelling. I don’t mean this in an insulting way, but if someone can’t get what’s happening here, then maybe this whole thing isn’t for them. Maybe if all they know right now is that Cyrus is gay and accepted and happy, then that’s good enough, and they can hold onto that idea and grow with that and catch the next train, whenever it comes along. Maybe this moment is for all the people who get it.
That’s about the kids in the casual audience. Now, if we’re talking about an adult homophobe -- one who would express the kind of outrage that we believe Disney fears -- it’s a different story. If an adult homophobe is really watching that scene and thinking, “Seems pretty straight to me” then it feels like it doesn’t matter what they would’ve done in the finale. They could’ve said “gay,” they could’ve said “boyfriend,” Cyrus and TJ could’ve lead a pride parade down the street outside Celia’s house while blasting -- well, I was going to pick a gay song here for the joke, but probably “Born This Way” would be the most appropriate one, so -- “Born This Way” from loud speakers, and that homophobe would’ve been like, “Nice parade.” As ignorant as homophobes are, even they are not that dense. An adult pretending Tyrus isn’t a couple after the bench scene requires a level of impenetrably willful ignorance.
Anyway, the truth is that angry homophobes aren’t watching the show. They never do. They like to read headlines and get mad, but they’re cowardly and, most of all, lazy, and they don’t like to put in the actual footwork. They like to leave comments on articles they haven’t read, about shows they haven’t watched. They like to post reactions to stuff they see in their Facebook feed or send one sentence responses like, “There goes Disney Channel!!!” or “What is happening to our country?!?!” And then they like to scroll on to the next thing that will feed their sad rage about how the world is changing around them.
If you want to think about Disney censorship as a way of preventing those homophobes from being outraged, it’s not the textuality of the scene itself, it’s the placement at the end. Delaying them canoning until the finale just makes for less work. Show’s over. There’s nothing to defend. No one’s signing a petition to get a show off the air that’s just aired its last episode. Most of the articles written will be about everything happening in the finale, and Tyrus would just be a part of it.
And that is more or less what’s happened. Just about every major article I’ve seen about the finale has discussed Tyrus, and discussed them as textually getting together -- again, there’s no ambiguity there -- but has also brought them up in conjunction with what happened with Andi and Jonah, with Muffy getting together, and with Andi getting into SAVA. And the articles themselves tend to largely be about the show ending as a whole and its impact. (No one needs to send me articles trying to prove or disprove this. I’ve been over a lot of them. Some are more Tyrus focused -- the ones in the gay media for sure -- and some just mention it -- more traditional media sources. This is the general gist of most of them.)
So the article headlines mostly read “Andi Mack Finale” or “Andi Mack Ends Run” or something like that. The homophobes -- who, again, aren’t watching the show and are getting all their information about it via article headlines -- see those headlines and don’t even remember Andi Mack was the show they hated from two years ago because their rage is mostly performative and short-lived. They get mad in the minute but forget about the specifics of the stuff within a day.
Like I said in the recap, I won’t argue that there’s a scene with more that wouldn’t work, but I personally don’t see the bench scene as not having accomplished everything it needed to.
Oh, that went longer than I thought it was going to be. Not very lightning round of me.
This actually got sent a while back but it was still in my inbox and I figured I’d throw it in here in case the anon saw it. Lightning round!
Sorry, anon, I wasn’t ignoring you and I appreciate you reading my old recaps, but you were the second anon to piece together that I am actually blessed with psychic powers.
I don’t really have any plans to, sorry.
I had only planned to do one set before and after the finale for Tyrus Week, but I will point you and anyone else interested in making their own TJ and Cyrus texts to this post I made that should give you the basic tools needed for the job. (Use them! You wouldn’t believe what a pain in the butt it was to get that background clean like that!)
Thank you, honestly. That’s so, so sweet. But I have no plans to do that.
Like I mentioned at the start of this post, I’m working on something now that I’ll tell you guys about shortly that’s look-backy and will hit on some stuff from those seasons. (Though not in the same vein as the recaps.)
The recaps take a long time to produce, and as much as I’ve loved this show and this fandom, I will be honest and tell you guys I am sort of planning my exit.
This blog has become something of a part-time job for me. Not in the work sense because I have truly enjoyed all this, but just in the time sense. I’ve put a lot of time in and I would like to rededicate that time back toward other things I’ve put on hold for the last year and a half.
It’s starting to feel like making you shout Lightning Round! each time was a mistake now that I’m answering stuff seriously or sadly.
I was getting emotional multiple times while writing it, because of the show, because of the fandom, because of this whole journey we’ve all been on together.
I appreciate you saying this so much because that’s what I’ve always hoped has come through in the things I’ve written about this show. That I’ll make jokes or point out holes or goofy details or whatever, but that I couldn’t do this -- I couldn’t commit myself to this as much as I have -- if I truly didn’t love the show. That everything I’m doing here comes from a place of love and celebrating the show and embracing it for its good stuff and its silly stuff.
It wasn’t a perfect show, but that was always what made it kind of perfect.
Thanks for the asks. Thus ends the lightning round.

WHO is Santi and WHERE is his face?
i am LIVING for your warm & colorful posts right now!! your editing is so amazing and it brightens my day everytime i see a new post of yours *.*
THANK YOU!!!! <3 i am so happy/relieved to be using warm colors once more, i feel like myself again. don’t get me wrong, i do like evoking different moods, but sometimes (a lot of the time, especially with santi) too much is too much. today’s posts were HOPEfully my last emo edits..............for now
LOL I actually made a comment about Fiona naming a cat/dog (once Pets comes out) Rodrigo. I'll go back underground now haha (still a great story, cant wait to read more) -Runaway NONY
OH I DIDN’T EVEN SEE THAT wtf. either tumblr ate it or i accidentally scrolled past it i’m sorry. i always enjoy seeing messages from anons who return to my inbox! but lmAO that’s a good idea. i actually met the most perfect dog today and now i know the breed and name of dog santi needs immediately
Hii! If you dont mind me askin, how do you edit your darker screenshots? I always end up making them too light or too dark to see a thing :( Thank you!
hmmm idk what to tell you about making them too light or too dark, because that’s a very specific thing that really depends on the picture. BUT i know that the dodge tool is my bff for brightening up dark pictures while still retaining some of the darker elements you want in them (aversely, the burn tool will help darken parts), messing with the exposure can also really help, coloring can also help too, selective color is my bff especially with blue shadows and orangey skin...this is kind of a broad answer, i’m sorry, but if you needed help with something specific, let me know!
I remember you answered an ask and said you drew tears when you edit right? Is there a reason you don't use CC tears?
i answered this like two weeks ago but i can’t find it so whateveR i’ve used cc tears a few times but there’s only like three of those in existence and my characters have cried a LOT. i feel like it would be kinda weird if they had the same tears every time. also there are just some variations that i like to customize myself by drawing, like sometimes they’ll be full on sobbing, sometimes just one single tear...it just depends on the situation, that’s why i draw ‘em.
Santi is my favorite Harvest Moon character.
idk shit about harvest moon so idk how to respond to this :[ here’s a small picture of michael cera with a cactus
Would you recommend buying a macbook for playing sims?
if a macbook is what you already have, then yeah, i’d say it suffices without many problems. if you’re specifically going out and buying a computer with the knowledge that you’ll be playing sims on it, then mmmmmm i’d probably say no...but it also depends on if you’re like gonna get REALLY into storytelling and cc n shit or if it’s just casual gameplay with a mods folder that’s like 5 gb or less...if it’s the latter i think it should also be fine. but yeah it just depends on what kind of gaming you’re planning on doing.
How can I read your story from the beginning? Is there a link or something? I keep seeing it on my feet and it looks so great!
thank you! there’s a button at the top of my page that says “story directory” but if you’re on mobile you can just go here or copy this link: http://femmesim.tumblr.com/tagged/story/chrono
I've talked to u like once before and I'm to shy to talk to u again... Why am I like fish?
This**
we are all like fish if you really think about it lmao but really just reach out my dude! if we talked once then y’know you already broke the ice so just go for it!! i am here and ready to talk about all the things under the sun
Do you use Topaz Clean?
yep
hi hello so maybe I am just a blind bean but may I ask how in god's name do you get your images to be so crisp? I have everything set up, but it seems as if when I do my thing in Photoshop, everything turns out lookin like a blobfish. I'm not sure if you use another person's topaz settings or if you have your own. Thank you so much if you do respond bc I was too much of a wuss to message you *cries in Spanish*
OMG well it’s mostly just resizing, smart sharpening, and most importantly topaz clean (see above) that makes them so crisp. i also use the sharpen tool on sims’ faces, and the smudge tool when something is particularly pixelated or whatever. everything i do is listed in here! UR NOT A WUSS *hugs you in spanish*
youre my inspiration to be a better writer. I know i'm good and giving characters depth and backgrounds and coming up with a rough story idea. but i rush things and i'm not great at putting it into a good story so ya. My story on simblr started out as casual gameplay but i wanted it to be more and i'm trying to get better @ everything
OMG ;_________; it sounds like you are a good writer already, and it’s awesome that you recognize your strengths while also acknowledging that you need to work on some things as well. i try to do the same and i think that’s what keeps me level headed. it sounds like you just need to dedicate some time to planning, that way you start to realize all the nuances of your story that come together to flesh out that initial rough idea. you seem to have a positive attitude, so that’s great!! you’re already getting better and better, i know it <3
now Santi's song is Post Malone - Congratulations
OMF LMAO u sent this when santi finally got to mexico and it’s fitting
sos i was listening to the song fight song by rachel platten when i saw the photoset of santi making it to mexico and now i can't stop ugly crying please make it stop
omG i see it TAKE BACK UR LIFE SANTI U GOT THIS
This is so random but like, can I just say that you're so amazing like?? Why?? You're so sweet and funny and I love you very much ok
AKJSKJDFKJS THANK YOU THIS IS SO NICEEEE ;-; i try but a lot of the time i feel like a sarcastic asshole lmao thank u for thinking otherwise <3
Am I the only one who's like... really mad about pets being NPCs? I just feel like being able to control them was the best part. I don't really feel like the EP is worth it without them. Like, don't get me wrong, I understand that the team worked really hard on it, but I feel like they didn't do it as well as they could have.
hmm i’m kind of meh on that front because like on one hand i did like controlling pets and the novelty of the fact that you could just see their different interactions firsthand, but ultimately i think i’m okay with not controlling them because it makes it more realistic for me and honestly they’re probably more likely to take care of themselves a little bit more if they’re automated, because i’m just thinking about ts3 pets and how i literally had to make them go pee outside otherwise they’d pee in the house...even if they were well trained and stuff lmao. plus there might be a cheat or mod that lets you control them, like there was in ts2? so don’t lose hope yet.
hey your blog is AWESOME, i read through your stories in a day and am obsessed (kind of in love with gianni) ❤ what are some of your favorite ts4 blogs? i'm trying to find more awesome blogs to read through during my miserable journey of trying to get the game to work on my computer lol
heyo here’s some! thank you btw, and i hope your miserable journey ends soon :{
(I really need to get this off my chest) ok so my aunt is currently in a critical condition after having a kidney failure and she's in desperate need for a new one and I'm the only one in my family that's a match (so far) but I'm not allowed to donate bc I myself have severe health issues affecting my day to day life that would make it extremely dangerous for me to remove a kidney. I'm so fucking frustrated you don't understand like I just want to cry most of the time
first off i’m so sorry that this is even happening to you ;__; and you’re an amazing person for being willing to help out your aunt like that, so just know it isn’t your fault that you’re unable to. don’t guilt yourself for it okay? is there any other possible donor at all? i wanna know how this situation ends up. i really hope your aunt will be okay. just stay close to your family for support and don’t blame yourself.
how did you get photoshop for free? I'm trying to find a link that won't give me a virus, but I had no luck yet
the pirate bay is ur friend
Ok I gotta rant. GoT does NOT deserve the hype/amazing ratings. Like, sure the cinematography is pretty great and they have ok actors but the freaking script is so mediocre I actually think I could write a better one. Me. A 16 y/o tiny child. There are so much better shows out there! Hell, even Supernatural has a better script than GoT
whenever ppl agree with me about how much GoT sucks i grow stronger and stronger even the actors are iffy at this point. watching daenerys act is painful, jon snow is wooden as hell, it’s just bad. ur 16 yr old self has more potential than these writers tbh. it’s just completely mediocre; it started out as something great because it followed the same layered storytelling pattern as the books, but it’s diverged from that completely because the writers got too caught up in the hype. and you’re right, it doesn’t deserve that hype! omfdkjsgkj i’ve never watched supernatural but i haven’t heard good things. that’s a low bar

The Meme and His Tutor
Part 13: The Time There Was A Meme War
Recommended Song: I Luv It by PSY
|All Chapters|
Summary:
Jungkook started something he could not finish and you begin to question yourself.
Genre: Fluff, comedy
Pairing: Jungkook X Reader (Y/N)
Warnings: Swearing
Word Count: 3745
Length: 13/?
Since your first lesson back after returning from Korea, you had taken Jungkook's advice to study harder. For the past few weeks your lessons focused on correcting the errors brought to light on your trip, and you were slowly gaining a better understanding of how to speak less formally.
When Jungkook rang you it just so happened that you were busy studying, a highlighter between your teeth as you answered the Skype call.
"Annyeonghaseyo Kookie." A small smile gracing your lips as you gave a wave.
A mischievous grin appeared on his lips, "Hello Noona."
There was a look in his eye that had you feeling suspicious.
"I don't like that look." You said, closing your textbook. "What are you up to?"
"Nothing."
"Do you really expect me to believe you?"
He ran a hand through his hair and you felt your heart stutter a little at how attractive he looked while doing so. No, stop. It wasn't the time for that.
"I'm not doing anything Noona."
"Okay... so what have you done?"
He bit his bottom lip in a failed attempt to stifle an amused chuckle. Why did he have to look so good? You shook your head. That look plus his amusement meant only on possible thing. You quickly opened your browser and typed in the address to his blog. There it was. The first thing to greet you on his site, a meme of you.
"Jeon Jungkook."
"Ye?"
"Prepare to die."
Jungkook started laughing, leaning back in his seat with an arm thrown across his face as you open up that one folder on your desktop. You were prepared for this day. Since spotting his folder full of memes on your first day in Korea, you had been plotting your revenge. And when you arrived safely at home you put your plan into action, screenshotting Skype and downloading pictures sent over KaKao. And with each new image, you created a new meme for your arsenal. It was time to release your creations onto the world.
Having recovered from his little laughing fit, Jungkook was watching you intently from the other side of the screen.
"Noona..."
"Yes, Kookie?" You said, creating a new Tumblr post and selecting your meme. It was a tough choice.
"What are you doing?"
You recycled his earlier words. "Nothing." You added a few hashtags and pressed post with a smile.
You heard Jungkook's phone vibrate. He picked it up and quickly checked it with a shocked gasp.
"Noona! That's so mean! I look ugly in that."
"I looked ugly in your one!... Also, do you get notifications every time I post? How long have you been doing that?"
"Since I followed you." You were going to ask why when you noticed a new notification had appeared. Clicking on it, you were not surprised to see Chubs’ ship blog reblogging the posts. You had an audience already.
"Noonaa~" Jungkook called and you refreshed the page.
Sitting at the top of your dash was your face, eyes wide and mouth open as if prepared to sneeze. Beneath it was the caption: 'when Jungkook Skypes you'. He'd even watermarked it.
"You little shit!"
You went into your folder again as he cackled in the background. It didn't take long to find one you wanted to use. It was the screenshot you had taken from when he was shirtless (the one that was still your desktop background) but with "Yokhareulharyeoko fuck boi cheoreom (Tries to act like a fuck boi)" at the top and "Hajiman geu-i museowo yeosang aidol. (But is afraid of female idols.)"
Jungkook was wiping tears out of his eyes when his phone went off. He paused and narrowed his eyes at you.
"Yah! What's a fuck...boi?" He glanced back at his phone, "And I'm not afraid of female idols!"
You lost it, covering your face with your hands as Jungkook mulled in his own confusion.
Between laughs, you managed to explain that a fuck boi was similar to being an international playboy, but meant acting even more like a dickhead.
"I'm not a fuck boi." He pouted.
"I don't know, going on Skype shirtless seems pretty fuck boi type behaviour to me." You grinned evilly.
"I put on a robe for you!" He said then winced at the sound of his voice. "I have to be quiet. Hoseok went to bed early."
"And how can you say you're not scared of female idols? You move away from them and hide behind the members."
"I'm being polite and respectful."
"There are compilation videos of you avoiding them. You backed away from a few with a terrified expression."
"... I was scared of accidentally starting career damaging rumours."
"Yeah right."
"If I was scared of women I wouldn't be friends with you." He gestured across the screen to you.
"I'm not an idol. It's different."
You got another notification about Chubs' ship blog reblogging from you but this time with a caption. 'HOLY SHIT! HE LET HER SEE HIM SHIRTLESS! AND SHE HAS BLESSED US BY SHARING IT WITH US!'
"What is it?" He asked.
"Check the ship blog." While he was doing that you scrolled through your folder, deciding what to post next.
"I don't see what the big deal is about me not wearing a top."
You sighed and minimised the folder to look at him. "Why do you have to wear swim shirts when you do things involving swimming on camera?"
"Because we don't want ARMY dying at the sight of our abs?"
"Exactly- wait, no!"
"Yep."
"It's because BigHit makes more money by teasing us with little glimpses of skin."
"And because in Korea we have to swim clothed."
There was another notification waiting for you on your Tumblr.
"Are you not going to look, Noona?" He was sitting smugly and you wished you were there in Korea to push him off his chair. "It's a good one. One of my best!”
It was you in your panda onesie, face bright red. 'Says she isn't adorable but is adorable af.'
"Next time I'm in Korea you're going to die."
You decided your next attack would include more than one meme. You found the ones you were looking for and started uploading them. Meanwhile, Jungkook was staring intently at his screen. A pair of circle glasses had found their way onto the bridge of his nose and you had to tear your eyes away from the Skype window. They were your weakness.
You heard his phone go off and sat back while he took a moment to look at them.
"Yah! Noona! Why so many?!"
"Don't call me cute!"
"...At least you Korean is improving."
You smirked and remembered the ones you had selected, one of him being shook, another of him spinning in his chair out of boredom and a selca of him with a bad hair day.
"I've been practising."
"Good." It was his turn to smirk when you saw he had uploaded half a dozen pictures of you including ones he'd taken on your trip to Korea.
"Is...Is that me sleeping?" You enlarged one particular photo you'd never seen before. It looked like it was taken using the front-facing camera and you could just make out the leather of Jungkook's jacket as you leant against his shoulder.
"It was after you landed. Remember?"
"Oh yeah... You took a picture of me sleeping?"
You swore you saw a hint of pink get added to his cheeks as he scratched the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.
"I couldn't help myself. Noona looked so peaceful and childlike."
"I'm just glad it's dark. You can't see a lot of my face."
"I didn't want to use flash and wake you."
"How considerate," you grumbled, going back to looking at the other images. "I need to stop wearing my panda onesie. All the worst pictures are of me in it."
"Noooo~ Noona should wear it more. Noona looks best in her onesie. See."
Your Skype chat was then filled with screenshots of you in the onesie as well as some pictures that were sneakily taken on the movie night.
"How did you take those without me noticing?" You said, eyeing one particular picture. It looked like a failed attempt at taking a photo of you from the side as all he managed to capture was your linked hands in his lap.
He tapped the side of his head with a smirk, "That's a secret."
"Aish. You're an impossible child."
He frowned, "I am not a child!"
"You act like one. I have proof."
You uploaded a dozen more screenshots to Tumblr all with various pieces of text of the images. There was a candid one of him you snuck at the restaurant after going to the market. He was cradling his phone in his hands, eyes bright as he stared down at his new phone case it in adoration. A screenshot of him pressing a kiss to Honey's head was followed by one of him with a blanket draped over his head.
"See, a child."
His frown deepened.
"Does Noona only see me as a child even after all my goodnight selcas?"
By some miracle, you didn't blush as he reminded you of the selcas he sent you when he was preparing for bed every night.
"T-t-that has nothing to do with your child like behaviour."
"But I have muscle." Jungkook pushed up his shirt sleeve to give you a better view of his flexed bicep. "Does this look like a child to you?"
"Stop!"
"Or this?" You noticed his hand grip the hem of his t-shirt and in a burst of panic, you slammed the laptop shut.
You got a message over Kakao.
'Or this'
It was followed by the image that you wanted to avoid. His shirt was pulled up revealing his abs and he had the cockiest smirk you had ever seen.
'By the way, you were very rude just now. You're going to pay for that.'
Your eyes went wide as you opened up Tumblr on your phone to see even more memes. This was meant to be your revenge. Why the hell were you taking turns?
Jungkook was waiting for you on Skype, his shirt back in place. You coughed to get his attention.
"Has Noona recovered?" He teased.
You scowled at him, "You're the biggest little shit. I'm supposed to be getting back at you and it turns into a competition."
"Which I won."
"You think you won?"
"I always win."
"Prepare to lose then."
There was a video file from back near the beginning of Jungkook's lessons when his English was still broken and he frequently switched between the two languages. You had recorded it to see if you could find a way to improve your teaching strategy. With a merciless grin, you uploaded a small segment of it to Tumblr.
He tripped over his words and stuttered often. It was adorable and was sure to make him angry. It always embarrassed him when you reminded him of how he started off. And sure enough, not a minute later, Jungkook had his head buried in his hands.
"Noona~ delete it!"
"Not until you admit I won and upload a post saying you concede."
You were lying. He looked thoughtful for a moment then nodded.
"Fine Noona. You win."
And then he was clicking and typing away. You waited patiently for the post to appear on your dash. When it did you were a little confused. It was a video with Honey as the thumbnail and the caption: 'Noona wins (this was filmed before I changed her name)'
You pressed play and was met by the familiar intro to Cypher Part 4. Jungkook was nowhere to be seen as the camera pointed at the wall of his bedroom you had grown accustomed to seeing.
All of a sudden, Jungkook's head popped up over the edge of the desk in a pair of oversized sunglasses. He mouthed the words 'ireum, ireum!' And then ducked back down only for Honey to pop up in a matching pair of glasses in time to 'Sorry bae.'
The video continued like that until the end of Namjoon's verse where the video also ended. You were bent over, clutching your stomach in a fit of laughter, temporarily forgetting that you were still in a Skype call with Jungkook.
"Oh god. Why is he like this?" You said when you finally regained composure, wiping a tear from your eye.
"It's a talent of mine." He said, surprising you enough to yelp. "Did you like it?"
You pressed a hand to your chest, willing your heart to stop hammering. "You're the biggest meme possibly on earth."
He gave you a smile and then he was clicking and typing again. It didn't take long for a new post to appear. Another video. It was a video of him singing along to Very Very Very by IOI but when it got to a certain point he would chug a little Thomas the Tank engine along. It was captioned: 'I'll be a meme more because I like Noona's laugh.'
A giggle slipped out while you watched him push along the little train. Where he got it from you didn't know but it didn't matter.
"That was adorable, Kookie!"
He ducked his head but you could see he was smiling proudly for making you laugh.
"Losing was worth it."
You decided to check on the ship blog to see how Chubs was handling the memeage. Apparently, not very well. She had moved on to flat out saying she was dying. Jungkook noticed you had gone quiet and asked you what you were doing.
"Are you plotting something? Because I have no other videos to post."
"I'm checking in on Chubs. She's said she's dead five times now."
"Ask her whose memes killed her!"
"Jungkook!"
"Judging by the tags on each meme post she reblogged, it was both of us... tell her not to die. I need someone to document our history."
This time your cheeks did heat up.
"I'll get right on that."
You heard a door open and Jin came into view, peering over Jungkook's shoulder.
"Igeos-eun jeolm-eun sarang-i doen geos? Naneun neohui dul-ege silmanghaessda. (Is this a young love thing? I'm disappointed in the both of you.)"
There was that word again. Why did it keep popping up so much recently? And why is it always Jungkook? You noticed Jungkook glance at you before apologising and giving his attention to Jin.
"Do you need something?"
"Oneul sueob-e chekeu-inhaneun geosman-eulo, Kookie. (Just checking in on today's lesson, Kookie.)" Jin caught your attention with a wave. "Igeos-eun yeong-eo sueobcheoreom boiji anh-eoyo, Y/N. (This doesn't look like an English lesson Y/N.)"
You sent your message to Chubs and gave Jin a sheepish smile. "Urin swigoiss-eo? (We're taking a break?)"
"... Seoloui mim-eul mandeuneunga? (By… making memes of each other?)"
"Geuneun geugeos-eul sijaghaessda. Naneun modu sueob-eul gajil junbigadoeeo iss-eossjiman, geuneun yaggan-ui ttong-idoegiro gyeolsimhaessda! (He started it. I was all prepared to have a lesson but then he decided to be a little shit!)"
"Noona!"
"If I'm going down I'm taking you with me!"
Jin braced himself on the back of Jungkook's chair as he broke into laughter.
Jungkook pouted, "But I didn't do anything!"
"You know what you did!" You nodded in Jin's direction, hoping that despite being on Skype Jungkook caught on to not wanting to say anything in front of Jin.
"Neo dul-eun neomu isanghae. (You two are so strange.)"
Chubs finally responded to your message about not dying.
'How can I not die when you two act like you were made for each other.'
'Don't say stuff like that. I'm just Y/N-chingu.'
'Yeah right. You two are totally not just friends. I see the way you look at each other.' Was her immediate response.
You let out a huff and typed out a reply. 'Even if I did feel something more for him (which I don't!) he doesn't like me like that. Nothing is ever going to happen.'
'Keep lying to yourself.'
"Noona~ don't get distracted. You're meant to be spending time with me!" Jungkook whined, drawing your attention back to him. You noticed Jin rolling his eyes.
You got another message from Chubs, 'You seriously need to sit down and have a think about how you actually feel about him. It's not good to be in denial for so long.'
"Noona~!"
"Sorry Kookie, Chubs was over reacting to our little meme war."
"Chubs-i nuguya? (Who's Chubs?)" Jin asked at the same time Jungkook wondered what she was saying.
"Geunyeoneun nae chingu ya. (She's my friend.)" You told Jin before looking at Jungkook, "Nothing important."
"Why won't you tell me?"
"I told you it's nothing."
"Noona~"
Jin smacked his shoulder, "Neoneun Y/N-i anj-aseo agicheoreom uneun geos-eul deudgo sip-eo handago saeng-gaghanayo? (Do you think Y/N wants to sit and listen to you whine like a baby?)"
"Geunyeoneun geugeos-eul saranghanda. (She loves it.)" He said with a smug smile.
For some reason, you couldn't bring yourself to argue with him about it. Jin chuckled to himself and ruffled Jungkook's hair, "Jeulgeoun aireul gaj-ja! Neomu heungbunhaji mala. Geuneunleohji anh-eumyeon oneul bam jamdeulji anh-eul geos-ida. (Have fun kids! Don't get too excited. Otherwise he won't sleep tonight.)"
"Hyung!"
You waved goodbye to Jin and watched Jungkook shake his messy hair back into place. You couldn't help what you said next.
"Messy hair suits you."
He paused at that looking slightly shocked.
"R-r-really?"
"Ye."
His hands immediately shot up into his hair, messing it up again.
"Like this Noona?"
You pursed your lips in thought, "Separate your fringe... Ye, like that."
He grabbed his phone and took a picture. Your phone buzzed. He sent the selca to you over Kakao.
Your heart skipped a beat. What on earth was wrong with you? This was only Jungkook. Jungkook, your tutor and tutee. Jungkook, the Golden Maknae of BTS. Jungkook who saw you as Y/N-chingu and nothing more.
You cleared your throat, "It really suits you Kookie."
"Taehyung tells me he likes my hair different but if Noona likes it messy, I like it messy too." He smiled and the sight of his dimple made your tummy do a little flip.
"You can't like something just because I do. What do you prefer?"
"Messy."
"Honestly?" You asked, ignoring the flashing light on your phone alerting you of Tumblr notifications.
"Honest. I don't like the product they put in it. It feels icky."
"Icky? You're such a child." You laughed.
"Yah! What do I have to do to make you see me as a man?!" There was a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"Why does it matter?"
He hesitated for a moment, "I don't want Noona to treat me like a child. To see me as a child. I'm an adult."
You started to giggle which only riled him up further. "I am the strongest member and only an inch shorter than Namjoon-hyung!"
"That doesn't necessarily make you a man. You still act like a child." You were dragging it out, seeing how far you could push him. And watching him grow hot and bothered was an extra.
"Was I not a man to you when you visited? I drove you around Seoul and bought you things. I treated Noona like a princess!"
"Yeah... you did. So it seems you can only act like an adult when I'm there in person."
Your phone screen lit up with yet another Tumblr notification. You decided to check it.
"Next time you visit I'll show you how much of a man I can be. I'll treat Noona like a queen."
The next time you visited...You had yet to tell Jungkook that even after picking up a few more hours at work it didn't look like you were going to be able to afford to visit after exam season like you had discussed. He'd only insist on paying if you told him and you couldn't have that. Not again.
"Yeah. Next time."
"You're going to love it, I have so much planned!"
You felt your heart sink with guilt. Maybe you could get a second job... you scrolled through the notes you had received on the mobile app. The responses were overwhelming. Jungkook's video had already hit a thousand notes in just under an hour. The ship blog was thriving with activity; a new post appearing every time you refreshed. You were suddenly aware of all the attention on the two of you.
"Noona?" You heard Jungkook call but you were busy reading one of Chubs's responses to a very annoyed anon yelling at her to 'spill the details on the couple'. "Noona!"
"Yes, Kookie?"
"When are your exams over?"
You bit your lip thinking about it.
"My last one is in three weeks time."
"Okay, I'll-"
Before he could finish what he was saying Jin came back into the room.
"Neuj-eoss eo. Neoneun jaleo gaya hae. (It's late. You should go to bed.)"
"Hyung~"
You giggled as he pouted and crossed his arms.
"Neoneun naeil malhal su iss-eoyo. Jam jal sigan-iya. (You can talk tomorrow. Time to sleep.)"
Jungkook nodded, "Okay, I'll say goodnight."
You said goodnight to Jin who left the two of you alone.
"Go to sleep, Kookie."
"I'm not tired."
"It doesn't matter. If you stay up you will be tomorrow."
"Fine... Goodnight Noona... I really had fun today. Your laugh is beautiful."
A warmth burned your cheeks, "Your hair makes you look handsome."
"Don't you mean more handsome?" He teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Go to bed!"
"Goodnight Noona! Sweet dreams, think of me."
"It's still the afternoon here. Sweet dreams Kookie."
He smiled, then an idea seemed to have popped into his head as the smile gained a hint of mischief. You wondered what on earth it could be until your thoughts were interrupted by him imitating Jin's signature flying kiss. You sat there, a little stunned not knowing what to do.
Jungkook was quick to tell you, "You're meant to catch it!"
"Oh, uh, try it again."
He blew you another and you reached out to grasp the kiss then clutched your hands to your chest as if holding something precious.
He grinned. "Have a good day and think of me tonight."
"Goodnight BunBun."
He grinned and gave a little wave then hung up.
What the heck just happened?
A/N: Co-written with @tragicshadows . So Y/N is finally beginning to question herself thanks to Chubs and the constant appearance of the L-word. And Kookie seems to be trying his best to make Y/N see him as a man, I wonder why that is? As always we would love to hear from you guys so feel free to message either one of us.

Project Phoenix Chapter 8
The God of Mischief
The Manifestation || The Power Play || The Green-Eyed Fly || The Middle of The Night || The Alternative || The Attic || The House
Summary: Kate’s a normal teenage Midgardian girl; except there’s a Loki in her attic, and now S.H.I.E.L.D.’s after her, and also, she has powers. Apparently, she’s meant to save the world.
She just wanted to finish school and maybe fall in love—at least she’s accomplishing one of those.
Relationships: Gen, F/M (Loki/Original Female Character)
Rating: M (Graphic Depictions of Violence, Underage if you squint bit—nothing occurs while characters are underage, Sexual Content)
Mood: Prelude to a Nightmare, Illumina Anthology
Loki's breath cut off in surprise. He juggled the thing, ultimately dropping it on the plywood flooring. The strange photo was a character Kate had told him about in a previous timeline—a morphing of two people into something she called Voldebean—but he had never actually seen it. Although Loki had witnessed much carnage and beasts that would undoubtedly give Kate worse nightmares than those already plaguing her sleep, that thing was horrifying.
Thankfully, there was no damage done to the box that Loki could see. Words indicated he should ‘press home to unlock,’ so he pressed the little button again. Numbers and a passcode greeted him. The last he checked, the code had been 5-2-4-7. He pressed the Midgardian numerals (gently, of course) and the box opened to reveal a hub for all of Kate's applications.
Of course, he already knew what was in the box—he had seen it before in other timelines. Mostly it was just poems and little ideas that Kate could incorporate into the secret ballads and songs she hid at the end of a maze of folders. If he could remember correctly, the way to get to her songwriting was Writing, Misc., Creative Writing, Stupid Stuff, Poetry, then finally Songwriting. He only knew that because he went snooping one day when Kate had left the box on Asgard.
She wasn't going to be coming back for a week, and Loki was bored, so he went looking around her quarters. The shriek Kate had produced when she found a two-headed mouse with bleeding eyes upon her pillow would always sit fondly in his memory.
Loki scrolled through her music then looked at the useless time-wasting games Kate had. One thing he did find interesting, however, was her pictures. Mostly, it was just stupid pictures of her and her friends, things called “life hack,” for when she was older, or images of her domestic beasts, but something Loki found interesting was a screenshot of a link.
The link was relatively simple. Loki took the painstaking effort of copying each character one-by-one into an internet browser. There, he found a chatroom. “Well, what secrets do you hide, little Kitty?” he muttered to himself.
The chatroom was private, a small label in the top even showing that the privacy was paid for. Loki's lip twitched. Throughout every timeline, he had never found anything like this, whether it be while sneaking around or while talking to Kate.
The slightest chill ran across Loki's skin as he scrolled up through the chats. There were hours and hours of conversation going back for months. In an archive, he found it went back over three years. Loki's eyes ached slightly from the screen, but he began reading through the chats.
Kate was talking to a man—not a boy, or a ‘guy,’ as she would call it, a man. A full-grown man.
There were photos. There were photos Kate should not have sent—photos she should not have taken in the first place. The archive revealed the raunchy images were going back those three years. This man had seen her when she was a mere 12-year-old who hadn't even begun to mature.
A stair creaked.
Loki jumped the slightest bit and slammed the box down, hoping it would enter sleep mode before whoever it was saw him. He transformed into a small fly, hiding on the ceiling and observing.
Kate stopped right before she opened the attic door. You’re about to take your phone back from the most powerful sorcerer in all the realms. Get a weapon, the voice in her head advised. The fact she hadn’t thought of it before worried her.
Kate hurried downstairs and went into the kitchen. Sneaking a knife upstairs unnoticed would be a bit of a challenge, but she knew she could do it. Kate opened the drawer and slipped a large, sharp knife out. Commonly, her mother used it when preparing meat, so she knew it would be sharp.
As she was about to leave the kitchen, she noticed a few oranges sitting in a bowl. She took one out and began to cut it with the knife. After quickly eating the orange (making sure to coat the knife thoroughly with the juice) and throwing away the scraps, she made her way back upstairs.
Kate snuck over to the attic door barefoot, avoiding the spot where the floor always creaked and silently opened up the door. She stealthily made her way up the stairs and used a mirror kept in storage to check the room as best as the tight angle would allow. Kate swallowed and leaped up the last few steps, brandishing the knife and her teeth in preparation.
There was nothing.
Kate blinked twice and relaxed. A bit of orange juice dripped off of the knife, hitting the floor and soaking into the plywood unnoticed. Her phone was sitting on the floor, screen down, with Loki nowhere to be seen.
Kate's eyes flickered across the attic and into shadowy corners. She snuck across the floor, checking in hiding spots for him with the knife held up in defense. He was nowhere.
"Praise the Lord Almighty," she sighed and picked up her phone.
The screen glowed to life as she accidentally tapped it with her knuckle. It revealed the chatroom archive. Her stomach dropped.
No, her stomach utterly left her body. Heat swept through her torso in an anxious flush, and her breath left her chest. He knew. Nobody knew. It was her best-kept secret, and he knew! She should have fought him off and taken her phone back sooner!
Kate fled the attic, scrambling down the stairs with her heart skipping a beat when she almost fell. Just as she was about to slam the door shut and shove a box in front of it, something grabbed and pulled her back in.
Kate tried to scream. Tears threatened to leave her cheeks. Her throat felt thick. Her voice didn't work as she shrieked behind the hand over her mouth. Although she knew she was yelling as loud as she could, it felt like she was in one of those dreams where in real life she couldn't breathe because of the position she was laying in, so her mind was trying to tell her to wake up and move.
But, she could breathe. She could breathe in through her nose as she was dragged up the stairs against her will.
He knew. He knew! Who would he tell? What leverage would her exploit? A droplet of saline tears ran down Kate’s cheek and onto Loki’s pale hand.
"Stop fighting me, you dumb girl!" Loki hissed.
Kate tried to bite him, even tried licking him again, but it didn't work this time. Firstly, Loki knew she would; secondly, he was not going to let her run. He probably wouldn't let her run ever again.
Perhaps he was going to kidnap her away to another one of the Nine Realms, and someone would have to save her. How would she possibly explain this?
Loki threw Kate against the floor, and a splinter jabbed into her hand. She coughed, tears falling down her face now. The two trails joined at her nose and dripped down at the tip. Her arms were shaking, and she felt weak. She hated feeling weak.
Loki winced the slightest bit when he heard the girl whimper. How had this happened? It didn't happen in any other timeline; in all the others, she had gotten away before anything could occur.
Before he could say anything, Loki used his seiðr and cast an enchantment to keep anyone outside of the room from hearing them. "Who is he!" he then yelled.
Kate fell the rest of the way to the ground, sobbing now.
“Don't try to worm your way out of this, veslingr! I demand an answer!”
Loki moved in front of her and grabbed her by the shoulders. She was forced to look at him with tears falling down her face. She attempted to sniffle in some bit of dignity, but her nose was already too stuffed up.
Her grey eyes couldn’t meet him, and the golden flecks within her irises were blurred and mutated from her tears. Her hair fell in her face, some chunks of it wet from the mess she was creating.
Loki reached up to dry her eyes, and Kate weakly smacked his hand away. He had meant to scare her, but not like this. This was far beyond what he had intended.
“Alright, alright, I'm sorry. Just—just tell me who he is.”
“Why the heck would I?”
Loki laughed. “Ooh, you said ‘heck!’ I suppose you're being serious now, aren't you?” It was a lousy attempt to lighten the mood.
She gave him a hard glare.
“Please?”
Kate wiped away tears with her sleeve. “His name is Michael Smith. Now go away.” She shook Loki’s hands off of her shoulders. Loki practically let them fall.
The mortal shall pay, he thought. He would have said it aloud, but Kate had such a compassionate gaze upon all life she saw that she most likely would have hated him more than she already did.
“Why are you speaking to him.” It was a command rather than a question.
“I wanted to.”
“No, you do not, Katherine. We both know that.”
Kate couldn’t meet his gaze as she bit her lip. Loki tried to take her hand, but she pulled it away. “I didn’t know who he was. I thought he was who he said he was.”
“Why not walk away?”
Kate swallowed and sniffled again. Her chin still quivered, and her voice cracked every few words. “I can’t. I need an excuse, and I can’t get one without telling my parents.”
“Stop talking to him. It is easy.”
Kate looked at him. Her eyes were tired. “Says the God of Lies.”
“He is not safe. You must see that.”
Kate chewed her lip until it bled. Loki watched her lick away the slit of blood, pretending he didn’t notice her cringing the slightest bit at the taste. “He's been with me through thick and thin. I can’t just leave him.”
For the first time in a while, Loki spoke nothing but the truth. “How can you not ‘just leave him?’ He wants you. He's been using you to get to what he considers to be a need.” He couldn't understand her thinking process. Her mind distorted the situation to see the good in this man—it was quite naïve of her.
She began to cry again. “I’d feel guilty.”
Loki tried to comfort her, but she rejected his advances with ease. What was it with her and emotional connections? Whether it be she despised them or was scared of them, it took forever to break her barriers truly in every single timeline—granted, Thor's teasing in half of those didn't help anyone, but the point still stood.
“To Hel with guilt! He is taking advantage of you!”
Kate shook her head. “I won’t allow us to meet in person. I’ve rejected him on that front. As long as we stay just online, I’m safe.”
“Safe? Safe?” Loki's voice rose loud enough for Kate to shrink away. “You have sent images to him! He has seen you! He's most likely willing to kidnap you by now! And you just sit here, acting as if all is well?”
Kate whimpered something. Her voice was so quiet Loki could not hear her words.
“Speak up, child.”
When she spoke again, her words were too garbled from crying even to attempt to understand. Loki summoned a handkerchief and handed it to her. “Here. Wipe away your pitiful tears.”
Kate sniffled again and wiped her eyes, blowing her nose afterward. She awkwardly looked at the handkerchief, then around for someplace to dispose of it. Loki simply whisked it away and back to Asgard. If Thor saw it, he would undoubtedly ask if Loki was helping someone—perhaps a woman. Loki would easily be able to lie his way out of it.
There was someone more important to deal with at the moment. “Now speak,” Loki commanded.
Kate swallowed and coughed a bit. “If I leave, he’ll release them.”
“Release them?”
Her voice was so quiet, Loki could once again barely hear her. “The photos, he’ll release them to his… friends.”
Even when she was this young, too young for her to be truly attractive to him, he felt the need to protect. “He has stated so?”
“Yes.”
Loki gritted his teeth. “Where does he hide?”
Kate looked up at him. Her eyes darted wildly across their sockets. “What? Why?”
“Tell me.”
Kate shied away once more. “I-I don’t know.” She shrugged. “He never told me.”
“Have you told him your location?”
Kate shook her head. “I could probably find him or get him to tell me.”
“Very well. Go.”
Kate sat up, her eyes still wet with tears. “Where?”
“Go find where he is, girl, then tell me immediately.” Loki relaxed his conscious, passively entering her mind without her noticing.
There was twisted conflict unlike he had ever seen before. It was like a distorted version of a place called Wonderland, which Kate had told him about during her little obsession towards 2-dimensional animation in the third timeline.
The majority of her being wanted to do away with this man and go on with her life in peace, but another subtle part of her wanted to see what would become of her secret adventure.
Her mind connected the situation to her feelings towards Loki; she wanted to be in control and scream until he disappeared forever. Yet, once again, there it was—the smallest bit of restraint that prevented her from moving on. It was quite the annoyance, and yet it was what Kate was listening to.
The child was foolish.
At that moment, Loki realized that he should stop calling her child. Children did not experience something as dangerous as the situation she was currently in. She didn’t even seem to realize the peril she was in.
The worst part was, Kate would not listen to him. She had already made that decision, he knew, as she shut the attic door behind her. Loki let out a growl and slammed his fist against a storage bin. The thing cracked and toppled, clothes spilling out.
With a swish of his hand, he cleaned up the mess and put up a ward. If Kate re-entered the attic, he would know. He then whisked himself to a more private location and called on Heimdall, who brought him back to Asgard.
“The girl is uncooperative once again, Sire?”

How to Use Snapchat Memories to Grow and Engage Your Audience
187 million daily active users (and counting!) are opening Snapchat 20 times a day to check out Snaps from friends, celebrities and brands. And while many still think of Snapchat as a platform for disappearing videos, you can also use it to create and share lasting content with Snapchat Memories.
With this feature, you can explore a searchable history of your Snapchat posts, and archive awesome content to use again on Snapchat or another social platform.
In this post, we’ll walk you through Snapchat Memories and the Flashback Memories feature, and share some tips for using this feature to build your brand and audience on Snapchat.
Bonus: Download a free guide that reveals the steps to create custom Snapchat geofilters and lenses, plus tips on how to use them to promote your business.
What are Snapchat Memories?
Snap Memories are Snaps and Stories that you can opt to save for later rather than allowing them to self-destruct. You can open Memories at any time to view, edit, send, or repost this saved content.
What are Flashback Memories?
Flashback Memories are like anniversaries for your Snap Memories. That means if you added a Snap to Memories on July 1, 2017, it will appear every July 1 as a Featured Story, prompting you to share it as a Flashback.
They’re automatically generated, so you don’t need to do anything to get them—just check in on your Memories to see if you have a Flashback that day.
Flashback Memories are pleasant reminders of content you were sharing in past years, and you might be surprised by what pops up!
Unless you’re a robot, you probably can’t remember every cool video or funny photo you’ve posted, but Snapchat does. And like a trusty pal, they’re here to remind you of the good times.
How to use Snapchat Memories
Snap Memories are automatically enabled in your account, which makes using this feature easy.
To open Memories, swipe up from the camera screen. Individual saved Snaps will appear as rectangles, and saved Stories will appear in circles. Scroll through all your saved posts, or use the search feature to find specific Snaps.
When you tap the search bar, you’ll see your Memories organized by categories and locations, allowing you to narrow down what you’re looking for. Snapchat also has a smart search filter, which allows you to search for keywords like “sunset” or “food” to find particular Snaps.
How to save Snaps and Stories to Memories
You can save Snaps to Memories before or after posting.
To save an individual Snap before posting, press the download button (in the bottom-left corner of the screen) to save it to Memories or your camera roll.
To save a Snap or Story to Memories after its been posted, navigate to your Profile icon by tapping the top-left corner of the screen.
Press the download button next to the My Story icon to save the entire Story to your Memories.
Or save individual Snaps by tapping the My Story icon. This will display all the Snaps within that Story.
Tap on each Snap you want to save to expand it, and then tap the download button (now in the bottom-right corner of the screen) to add it to Memories.
Keep posts that followers have sent you by saving them (or taking screenshots) and adding those to your Memories folder.
How to automatically save Snaps and Stories to Memories
You can also set up your account to automatically save all your content to Memories.
Go to Settings, then Memories.
Click on My Story Posts and change the default setting from “Don’t save my Story Posts” to “Memories.”
You can also choose to save all content to your camera roll as well as Memories. This is a good idea for brands, especially if you plan to share Snapchat content to other platforms like Instagram or Twitter. It also serves as additional backup so you never have to worry about losing an amazing post.
To save to your camera roll, tap the Save Button setting, and then select Memories & Camera Roll.
How to repost Snaps and Stories from Memories
To repost a Snap or Story, swipe up from the camera screen to see all your saved Memories.
Tap on the Story or Snap you want to repost to open it, then hold your finger down on the screen to open up the menu.
From there, you can select Send Snap to add it to your Story.
How to create new Stories from Memories
You can also create a new Story entirely from Memories, recombining content from different days or Stories. This can be a fun way to create themed content, all featuring a particular product or type of post, or share a journey that lasts longer than 24 hours in a single Story.
From the Memories screen, tap the checkmark icon in the top-right corner and then select the saved Snaps or Stories you want to share.
Once you’ve selected all the posts you want to include, tap the circle with the plus sign at the bottom of the screen to generate a new Story. It will be saved in the Stories tab of your Memories screen, so you can find it (and add to it) later.
From there, you can export this Story to save or post on other social platforms, or share it with your followers by tapping Send Story.
Bonus: Download a free guide that reveals the steps to create custom Snapchat geofilters and lenses, plus tips on how to use them to promote your business.
Get the free guide right now!
How to make Memories private
If you want to save Memories but keep them hidden from your followers or friends, you can move them to My Eyes Only. This way, they won’t appear when you’re scrolling through your Memories screen.
To move Memories, follow the same steps as above for posting Memories as a new Story: tap the checkmark icon and then select the Snaps you’d like to make private.
Then tap the lock icon to add them to My Eyes Only.
The first time you add a Snap to My Eyes Only, you’ll be prompted to create a four-digit passcode for security. You’ll be required to enter the passcode every time you open the My Eyes Only folder, which is accessible through the Memories screen.
Make sure you choose something that you can remember (or write it down), because there’s no way to recover it!
If you forget your passcode, those Memories will be gone for good. Snapchat takes secrets very seriously.
You can always chose to make these Snaps and Stories public again. Just open them in My Eyes Only, hold your finger down on the screen, and select “Remove from My Eyes Only” when the option appears.
If you want all your Memories to be saved as private, you can set up that preference in your Settings. Just select “Save to My Eyes Only by Default.”
How to post content created outside of Snapchat to Memories
Snapchat Memories allows you to share content created outside of the platform with your followers, by importing photos and videos from your camera roll.
When you swipe up to open Memories, you’ll see a tab called “Camera Roll.” Tap and hold a photo or video you want to share, then tap “Send Photo” to add it to your Story.
If you’ve created great posts for Instagram or another platform, this allows you to import them easily and share them with your Snapchat followers too. It can also help you build your audiences on other platforms.
How to use Flashback Memories
Snapchat Flashback Memories are available to you whenever you have a Memory on the current date from a previous year.
Don’t see any Featured Stories? That just means you don’t have a Memory with an anniversary today.
When you have a Flashback memory, you can edit, share or save it. Edit it to add new stickers, filters or other flair if you want to dress it up a little. After all, it’s an anniversary party.
From there, you can tap Send Story to make it public, or tap Save to Stories if you don’t want to share it immediately. This will add it to your Stories tab and allow you to easily find and post it later on.
Keep in mind that Flashback doesn’t apply to Snaps and Stories that you’ve made private by adding them to your My Eyes Only folder.
If you’d like to disable this feature, you can turn it off in your Settings. But we think it’s pretty fun, and we’ve got a few ideas for putting it to use!
Tips for using Snapchat Memories and Flashback Memories
Just browsing through your old posts in Memories might spark some new creative ideas for how to put those videos and photos to use. But we’ve also got some suggestions for how to use Memories and Flashback to grow and engage your audience.
Celebrate how far you’ve come
Flashback Memories are made for celebrations. After all, they’re anniversaries! Chances are, you’ll see Flashbacks that remind you of how far you’ve come as a brand. At some point, you might even see your first-ever post on Snapchat!
Sharing those with your audience is a great way to acknowledge your long-time followers and show them how you’ve grown together. They also help connect new followers with your brand story, and provide the authenticity and behind-the-scenes intimacy that Snapchat users love.
Combine Memories into new stories
The 24-hour lifespan of a Snap used to mean that you could only tell one-day stories.
Sharing details from a longer project, or photos from a multi-day trip, meant separate Stories that were disconnected and hard to follow.
With Memories, you can pull together those posts and create a fresh new Story from them.
If you’re about to release a new product, you can assemble a Story of all the work that led up to it. If you’re celebrating a team milestone, search your Memories for photos and videos of your team at work to share the story of your achievements.
Because Memories lets you pull in content from your camera roll, you can even include posts from other social networks, or user-generated content that you’ve screen capped and saved.
Recombining your content keeps it fresh, adds new context, and helps you tell deeper stories about your brand.
Repurpose seasonal content
Did you make a great holiday video two years ago? Maybe you’ve forgotten all about it, but Flashback will remind you.
The date-specific feature is helpful because it works as a prompt; that means you’ll never miss the chance to repost an awesome Fourth of July video because you didn’t think of it until July 5.
Sharing these posts again can help fill in gaps in your social media content calendar, and you can make them feel fresh with new stickers or filters.
Save and reuse promotional offers
Do you use Snapchat to share discount codes with your followers? Memories can help you keep track of your promotional posts.
Once you’ve put in the work to create those promotional Snaps, save them to Memories so you can share them again the next time you want to drive sales.
Export content to share on other platforms
Memories lets you easily export your content and upload to another platform. Unlike your camera roll, it’s organized by theme and easy to search, so you can use it like an archive of your posts.
If you’re ever at a loss for what to share with your followers on Facebook or Instagram, your Memories will provide a treasure trove of ideas. It might even help you get more Snapchat followers.
Videos and photos that got a lot of engagement on Snapchat are likely to perform well on other platforms too, so give them a chance to live out their full potential.
Now that you’ve mastered this feature, you’re ready to reminisce with your Snapchat audience. Happy trails down Memories lane.
Bonus: Download a free guide that reveals the steps to create custom Snapchat geofilters and lenses, plus tips on how to use them to promote your business.

10 Ways to Declutter Your Digital Life in 10 Minutes
As you know, I’m not usually in the business of writing a lot of how-to type posts. My preference is to share personal stories and lessons I’ve learned – and that is especially true when we’re talking about decluttering. The same way personal finance is personal, what we choose to keep in our homes is extremely personal. I can’t tell you what to get rid of. I don’t know what adds value or what sparks joy for you. I can, however, share some practical tips on how to declutter another aspect of your life: the digital side of things.
In some ways, I think it’s easier to let digital clutter pile up than physical clutter. For starters, it doesn’t cost us (much) money, so we don’t feel bad about it. And since it doesn’t take up any space in our homes, we don’t have to see it when we walk in and out of rooms. In fact, we can choose to ignore it by simply closing our laptops or putting our phones down. However, if you’re someone who spends a lot of time looking at computer or cell phone screens, it will only be a matter of time before the “mess” will stress you out.
While I normally maintain a very clean/streamlined digital life, things got a bit out of control after the dogs died, simply because I stopped bothering. As part of this 30-day shopping ban, I spent some time decluttering and organizing everything, and I realized I have a bit of a system now. I’ve compiled a list of the 10 ways I declutter my digital life on-the-go. Each one usually takes no more than 10 minutes and I typically do this every quarter (if not more often). If it takes you a little longer, that’s ok! At least do the first 10 minutes and get the ball rolling. :)
1. Archive the emails in your inbox.
Open your inbox and get rid of as many emails as you can. Delete the ones you don’t need, archive the ones you want to keep in separate folders and unsubscribe from any lists you don’t want to be on. Don’t worry about the emails you still need to reply to. The goal isn’t to get to inbox zero; it’s to declutter and organize. Consider everything leftover as a to-do list item that you will tackle the next time you open your inbox. And if 10 minutes isn’t enough time for this, still do what you can in that time. It’s better than not doing anything at all!
2. Unfollow retailers on social media.
I used to love following my favourite retailers on social media. It meant I always knew which new products were available and gave me access to all their promotions. Not surprisingly, that also meant I bought a lot of stuff I didn’t need – and never used. I wasted money and potentially created some actual waste, both of which I hate to do. For that reason, I am NOT a fan of following retailers online. If you want to save yourself some money (and some potential physical clutter), open up Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and unfollow all stores.
3. Organize your desktop.
If your desktop screen is a cluttered mess, start the one-folder filing system. Create one folder – the only folder – that will live on your desktop. Name it “Files” or “Projects” or whatever you like. Dump all the files on your desktop into that folder. Step 1 is complete and your desktop is clean. For Step 2, scroll through your files and delete everything you don’t need. And Step 3, create subfolders and organize the files you’re keeping into those. The end result should be a clean desktop with 1 folder on it, which you click on and only see more folders inside.
4. Empty your Documents/Downloads folders on your computer.
One of the reasons I find computers get so cluttered with files is because you can save them pretty much anywhere you want. There are too many options! The three most common places you can save files (on both Macs and PCs) is on your desktop, in your Documents folder and in your Downloads folder. To make things simpler, I’ve committed to only saving things on my desktop. That means I’m constantly emptying the Downloads folder, and I never save anything to Documents. Now that your Desktop is setup better, you can do the same!
5. Delete most of your bookmarks.
I’m not a huge fan of bookmarks. In fact, I think the bookmarks folder in our web browsers is where a lot of links + nice ideas go to die. We save them with good intentions but almost always forget about them. Does that mean I think they are entirely useless? No. I have a few (and I’ll tell you about that next). But my folder is usually filled with a long list of digital clutter. Every few months, I select 90% of them + hit delete. Don’t be afraid to do the same. Google can help you find anything when you really need it!
6. Create a bookmarks folder with the few sites you log into regularly.
As an example, I have a folder of all the banking/investing sites I visit. I find having this folder saves time and energy, especially because I like to delete my browsing history from time-to-time. If you’re someone who forgets passwords often, another option is to sign up for a password manager. I have tried both 1Password and LastPass.
7. Remove unused applications/programs from your computer.
If you’re looking to free up some space on your computer’s hard drive, the easiest thing you can do is remove any applications/programs you’re no longer using. As someone who doesn’t think she downloads new applications very often, I’m always surprised to find I can delete at least one or two when I do this. My rule of thumb is to remove things I haven’t used in 6+ months and/or can’t imagine using anytime soon. Remember to empty the trash after, so you actually free up the space!
8. While you’re at it, remove unused apps from your phone too.
It’s easy! For this one, be realistic about what you actually use and what you think you’d like to use one day. I only keep the apps I actually use. If you’re worried about deleting ones you’ve paid for, remember that payment is attached to your account so you can download them again anytime.
9. Organize the apps on your phone so they fit on one screen.
When you’re done that, spend a few minutes organizing your apps in a way that makes sense for you. Personally, I keep my social media apps in a folder so they are an extra tap away, in an attempt to make it feel like extra work (and perhaps help me spend less time on them). I keep Calm out front and centre, so it’s easy to meditate every day!
10. Go through/delete photos from ONE of the folders on your phone.
I don’t know about Androids, but if you’re an iPhone user, your phone organizes your photos into nearly half-a-dozen separate folders. In some ways, this is great! But if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the number of photos you have on your phone, don’t stress yourself out further by trying to manage all of them – just start by going through/deleting photos from one folder.
At the beginning of my 30-day shopping ban, when I said I had some digital clutter to deal with, the Screenshots folder on my iPhone was a big part of that. I take screenshots with the same intention as when I save bookmarks: to use it one day. But the same thing always happens: I forget about most of them. Earlier this month, I opened my Screenshots folder and found 75% of them were hikes I wanted to do in BC + places I wanted to travel to. Instead of holding onto those photos, I created a Google spreadsheet and typed all the places in (according to what part of BC + the world they are in). I kept the spreadsheet and deleted the photos! This one might have taken 15 minutes but it was worth it.
Just for fun: If you use Chrome and you want to change what you see whenever you open a new tab in your browser, I highly recommend the Unsplash Instant extension. I used to love Momentum, but prefer Unsplash now because it’s much cleaner. And it will only take seconds to install! :)
Do you have any tips for cleaning up digital clutter on-the-go?

The Meme and His Tutor
Part 5: The Time Namjoon Gave Up
Recommended Song: Fingertip by GFRIEND
|All Chapters|
Summary:
Two weeks after you agreed to be Jungkook’s friend, Namjoon has had enough of Jungkook’s abuse and leaves him in charge of teaching you. Things don’t stay on track for long.
Genre: Fluff, comedy
Pairing: Jungkook X Reader (Y/N)
Warnings: Swearing
Word Count: 3782
Length: 5/?
It had been two weeks since you and Jungkook had become friends. It was time for his weekly lesson again, though you felt kind of bad because the during the previous week’s lesson both you and Jungkook had managed to talk over Namjoon. You weren't shocked to find Jungkook sitting alone. He grinned at you, waving with one hand while the other brushed his hood off.
"Hi Y/N!"
Reflexively, you smiled back. "Hi Kookie!"
"Namjoon-hyung not be here. He said..." Jungkook paused to pick up a piece of paper, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration, "Sorry Y/N... I won't be... a part of the lessons anymore. I think it would be best if.... Jungkook tries to teach you... so he has no... reason to abuse me. Best wishes, Namjoon."
Jungkook looked back at you, brows furrowed, teeth worrying his bottom lip.
"You did good Kookie."
He released his lip and shifted in his seat as he got comfortable. "So, what teach today?"
"Um... I was thinking you could learn foods"
"Ok!"
You picked up a pack of flashcards from your desk and explained to him the activity. He nodded eagerly, scooting his chair closer to the laptop. You shuffled the cards to find something easy first.
"Ready?"
"Ye."
You held up the first card.
"PIZZA!"
You laughed at his excitement, already knowing that pizza was one of his favourite foods.
"Correct Kookie. Right, next one."
You held up another card. "
Um... potato?"
"Not quite. It’s a suede"
"Too hard!" He pouted.
You rolled your eyes.
"Okay, fine." You shuffled through the cards again, finding an easier one and holding it up.
He squinted at his laptop, lips pursed. "Mushroom?"
"Ye!"
The activity carried on for a few more minutes with Jungkook making a few mistakes here and there. By the time it was over he was pouting like a child.
"Too hard. Noona should chose easy."
"Did you revise the list I gave you last week? Because all those foods were on there."
He looked sheepish as he diverted his attention to his lap. "No..."
You sighed; conflicted between frustration and guilt. BTS' schedule was a nightmare. The sleepy voice that greeted you most sessions evidence towards Jungkook's constant hard work. He looked deeply apologetic, regret clear in the way he couldn't meet your eye.
"Kookie, it's okay. I'm not mad."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I know you're busy. Tell me next time though so I can prepare."
“Yes Noona!"
"Promise?"
"Promise! Your turn Noona. I teach."
"Are you sure you want to try teaching?"
"Namjoon-hyung not here. Have to. Want to. For my friend."
You had to hold back your urge to go 'aw' as he fiddled with his fingers and shyly raised his eyes to meet yours through the WebCam. A second stretched for what felt like a minute as you held your breath. Then, he was smiling, front teeth peaking from beneath his thin lip. You released a sigh, gaining some sense of composure while he glanced away to, you assumed, find something on his desk. He looked back at you and held up a piece of paper. It was a message from Namjoon saying that he had uploaded all the materials he had planned for you to the shared folder.
Jungkook peeked out frim behind the paper, "What it say Noona?"
"The things to help teach me are in the shared folder."
"Oh. That good. I hadn't known what do if not for that."
You opened up a browser window and navigated to the shared folder. There were two sub-folders: 'Korean lessons' and 'English Lessons'. You clicked the Korean Lessons folder and told Jungkook to do the same. A moment later, you were both staring at the same worksheet except his had the answers and yours did not.
"You write, I check."
"Okay."
He gave you a thumbs up and took a sip of his water as you scrolled down the sheet. Your brows furrowed while you looked through the worksheet. It was a bit more difficult than you were prepared for. The worksheet was a list of Korean words that you had to read, write the pronunciation of, identify what speech level was being used and what type of the verb ending indicated how it was said. Then you were to translate the word into English. With a deep breath you approached the first question...And failed. You snuck a look at the Skype window, covering the other half of your screen, and noticed Jungkook was watching you, chin resting on his fist, lips pressed into a firm line.
"Noona, is it hard?"
You nodded.
"Need help?"
"That would ve cheating. Ireul machibsida (Let's finish the work)"
"No need to speak formally Noona. You older, I'm younger."
You blushed, realising you had spoken to him as if he was your superior, like a CEO or doctor. Then you remembered he had taken up the role of being your tutor so it wasn't wrong for you to use the formal speech level.
"Nae neoruel seonsaeng-nim, Kookie (You're my teacher, Kookie). I can talk formally to you."
"Don't want you to."
You pouted. "Why?"
"You're my friend." He gestured to himself and then to you. "We friends."
The statement was posed a little like a question and you couldn't help but smile which seemed to reassure him.
"Okay, informal language it is."
"Joa." He said with a small smile that quickly turned devious, "Y/N-chingu~"
"Yah! Neoui naneun Noona! Naneun Noona (I am your Noona! I am Noona). Show some respect." Your tone went from scolding to playful as you spoke.
"You said in-"
"Yah!"
He flinched slightly and stared at you with wide eyes.
You could feel the blush rising to your cheeks and cleared your throat before continuing in a lighter tone, "We need to work. Can you show me what to do?"
Jungkook relaxed into the chair.
"I do one, you do next."
You nodded to show you understood but couldn't help feeling awkward as you and Jungkook worked together to complete the worksheet in silence. You felt like it was your fault for the silence for not letting Jungkook call you 'chingu' even though you were older than him. He must've thought you didn't want him to call you friend. You stopped working and cleared your throat to get his attention.
"Jungkook-chingu gwenchanha?"
He beamed at you in return.
"Ye!" He glanced aside momentarily. "You done?"
You checked your own worksheet- a few blank spaces staring back at you but otherwise filled out confidently. "Ye."
"Shall we take a break and just chat... as friends?"
His smile grew as he nodded happily. You felt the need to reassure him that you did consider him your friend. Though you were still adjusting to the fact THE Jeon Jungkook was your tutee and friend. Never in your wildest dreams had you imagined such a thing happening. But it is happening, and you wanted nothing more than to shout it at the top of your voice or post it all over your tumblr. But you feared a law suit might be on the horizon if you were to do such a thing. It was okay though...If not better than okay. You, technically, had Jungkook to yourself. A little satisfied smirk slipped onto your lips. A call, however, from Jungkook pulled you out of your thoughts.
"Noona?"
"Ye, Kookie?"
"You drifted off"
"Sorry I was just thinking"
He cocked his head to the side in interest.
"About...?"
You sighed, "A part of me wants the whole world to know you're my friend or at least let my followers in tumblr know."
"It okay Noona. I already let people know you my friend. See."
Ding! He had sent you a link to a tumblr page.
You clicked the link, fixing the glasses that had slipped down the bridge of your nose, and gasped. Did Jeon Jungkook run a tumblr blog. You stared at the url, letting it all sink in; 'GDNo1Fan97'...The same as his Skype name. Wait...What? You scrolled down the page and his icon, a selfie you actually had saved to your phone, disappeared off the screen only to reveal- No...He didn't.
He had posted screenshots of you, all varying. Some were of you blushing, you holding up flashcards, you concentrating as you focused on a task Namjoon had given you. There was even a screenshot from when he had asked you to be his friend. Underneath was a caption: ‘Noona is chingu now, chingu means friend.’ If it weren't for the hand against your lips, you would have been certain your jaw had detached itself.
"Kookie, is this...?"
You trailed off and Jungkook happily finished your sentence, "Y/n-chingu? Ye!"
You tore your gaze away from a screenshot of you, eyes crinkled and lips parted obviously in the middle of a giggle, to Jungkook who was smiling at his screen.
"Y-you post about me? On your personal tumblr?"
"You have tumblr about me. It wrong for me to post you on mine?"
"YOU KNOW ABOUT MY TUMBLR?!"
"...You use same email..."
"Oh god."
"So you can say you my friend on there. And picture for proof. Oh take picture now. I pose!"
"Jungkook!"
You clutched your head in your hands. Did he not understand how big of a deal this is? You checked his follower count and instantly let out a deep breath. Ok, it wasn't too bad. Only a couple thousand, notably less than the 4.98 million the BTS twitter account had.
With words failing you, Jungkook took a turn to speak, "Y/n?"
"Yeah?"
His voice was quiet, "D-did I do bad?"
Your eyes widened and you instantly sat up, "W-what? No! No, it's fine!"
"Then why look unhappy?"
"It just... what if fans react badly? Or if the media finds out?"
"Fans will be happy about tutor. Finally learn English like they want. Media won't care about tutor."
"What if they react badly to me being your friend?"
"Ignore."
You groaned and pushed your hair out of your face.
"Are you sure it's okay? BigHit won't mind?"
"They know."
"They do?"
Jungkook ran a hand through his hair leaving it sticking up in odd directions. You wished you could reach through the screen and smooth it down.
"Ye, uh...Namjoon-hyung tell Bang PD-nim."
He made a gesture and understood that he couldn't quite find the words to express in English.
"They are okay with it?"
He looked back to you, "Ye! You tutor me, I tutor you. Fans watch me learn."
You scratched the back if your neck, a habit you had picked up for watching him do it so often.
"I can't believe I can let people know."
"I pose now?"
You let out an amused huff.
"Sure Kookie, you can pose."
He immediately cupped his own face with his hands and smiled cutely. You captured the screenshot and giggled as he switched poses for you, raising a peace sign to frame his left eye. You took another as your laughing spurred him on to pose some more. You took a few more screenshots, knowing that you wouldn't upload them all. It wouldn't hurt to be a tad selfish.
"Noona! Upload them!"
"What should I say?"
He appeared to think for a minute.
"Aha! Now tutor and friend of daebak Golden Maknae Jeon Jeonggukie! #blessed"
You couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"I'm not putting that!"
He relaxed into his chair as he joined you in laughter. Your lips twisted into a pout in though. Ah!
"Okay, got it."
You sat forward, flexing your fingers and opened a new photo post, adding two screenshots. You typed up a caption and tags, all the while smirking to yourself, and hit post.
"What you say?"
"Have a look."
The caption you wrote read: 'Meet my new Korean tutor, the meme himself'. You had even tagged it: 'he's such a little shit, how does his hyungs deal with him' followed by all the necessary tags. You watched his reaction as he read out what you had written, his face scrunched in concentration.
He then looked at you, "How am I a 'little shit'?"
You felt your jaw drop at his correct grammar.
"Uh..." You stuttered, face flushed with embarrassment.
"Noona~?"
He was grinning. You were right. Little shit.
"Uh, you posted screenshots of me- bad screenshots!"
His brows furrowed, "Bad?"
"Ye, ugly."
He gasped.
"Noona not ugly!"
Could your face get any redder? "I'm talking in some. I look like an idiot!"
"Which ones?"
"You posted the screenshot from the first skype call. The one when I'm in a panda onesie!"
"Noona not ugly there. Noona cute. It stays."
You groaned in frustration then heard the familiar notification sound from your phone and checked it. Someone had sent you an ask. 'Is that really Jungkook?' You attempted to suppress a grin. Jungkook took notice and asked what's the matter.
"People are asking about you; if I'm really your friend."
"Y/n-chingu! Say yes!"
"Okay, okay." You muttered, typing out a reply when another notification sounded.
This message was not so kindly phrased: 'If you're going to lie at least make it believable. Do you really expect people to think you're telling the truth? Bitch.' You frowned and Jungkook leant forward in his seat.
"What's wrong?"
"I just got called a lying bitch."
"You put screenshots yes?"
"Ye. But they probably think its photoshopped"
Jungkook mirrored your frown, "Link them to mine."
"They'll probably think its fake."
Jungkook shifted so he was sitting up straight and tried to stare you down through the WebCam, his voice taking on a commanding edge, "Do it Noona."
You nodded and edited the post to link back to Jungkook's own blog. Not a moment later another notification dinged. You opened it hesitantly, not in the mood to subject yourself to more accusations which would only dampen your mood. 'Is it true Jungkook is tutoring you Korean? And is that really his blog? I've done research and it says he doesn't have any personal social media...' You looked back at Jungkook who was waiting with a raised eyebrow.
"They want proof it’s your blog."
Jungkook appeared to think before speaking, "Wait there Noona. I'll be back."
You nodded, once again surprised by his grammar. He quickly got up out of his seat, phone in hand. He must’ve muted his audio because you could see him recording himself on his phone but couldn't hear him. When he was finished, he took a second or two to do something on his phone. He came back to you with a satisfied grin.
"Look now."
You refreshed the page and saw that he had not only reblogged your post but had attached a video. Excitement combined with something like nervousness bubbled away in your stomach. This was it. This would make people believe you. You pressed play.
"Annyeonghaseyo~! Jungkook-imnida! I have tumblr but had to keep shhh about it. I have tutor now. She a nice Noona hajiman... nan Y/N-i hangukeoreul gareuchyeoyo (but... I teach Y/N Korean). Namjoon-hyung did but no more. I hurt him lots so now he won't." He didn't even look guilty about that. "Noona no liar. This is real Nochu. Jeon Sigul. Annyeong!"
You couldn't help but burst into laughter at the cute little growl he did before waving goodbye. You reblogged the post again captioning it 'I'm no liar.' And minimised the window, turning back to Jungkook.
"You like video? They call Jungkook's Noona a bitch again..." He trailed off, shaking his head.
He paused when he met your eye. You were frozen. He'd used a possessive noun and whether accidental or intentional you were finding it difficult to breathe. Though you had referred to yourself as 'Jungkook's Noona' when talking to your friends, it was a completely different experience to hear him call you that. You were sat in a daze, replaying what he had said in your head over and over.
"Noona? Earth to Noona."
You shook your head to bring yourself back to the conversation.
"Sorry, you referred to yourself in the third person. It was cute." You muttered the last part more to yourself but it didn't mean he didn't hear it.
"Cute, huh?"
Your hands came to your face involuntarily, masking the blush rising to your cheeks.
"Stop~" You couldn't help but whine at the smirk he had plastered. God, he was smug. "I didn't mean it like that!"
His face fell. "You don't think I'm cute?"
"There's just no winning with you is there?" You said as you rubbed your hands over your face.
Jungkook pouted, "You don't think I'm cute."
"Such a child," you saw him frown, "Your grammar has improved a lot though. It'll improve if you try and find the time to revise."
You offered him a small encouraging smile. He nodded, tongue-in-cheek as he noticed you changing subject matter. Gratefully, he went along.
"I'll try find time."
You hummed in agreement, "Have you been practising?"
"Ye, at night with hyung."
"It's working. Keep it up."
You offered him a thumbs up which made him chuckle slightly.
"Want to talk to Noona better. So I'll practice more."
It was your turn to chuckle.
"You’re meant to be learning to communicate better with international fans."
"You are international fan."
"I can't get special treatment."
"Too late to say that. You're my friend now. Chingu~"
"Lord save me. What have I gotten myself into?"
His laugh was cut off by a yawn, accompanied by a stretch. You diverted your eyes at the sight of his t-shirt creeping up his abdomen as he leant backwards and tried not to blush. Instead, you checked the time and noticed it was nearing eleven o'clock. A cut-off point had never been arranged, but it was starting to seem as though two hours was enough. And you were starting to get a bit peckish having forgotten to grab a snack before you sat down.
"I think its bed time for you Kookie."
"But want to talk more."
"It’s late."
"Noona~"
"How about I give you my Kakao ID?"
He clapped then pointed dramatically which turned into a thumbs up, "Daebak!"
You typed your ID and sent the message. Jungkook laughed when he read it.
"My name. Your ID has my name."
"Ohmygod." You sighed and rubbed at your eyes beneath your glasses just so you wouldn't have to look at his cocky grin. "It's the same as my tumblr."
Jungkook leant his elbows on the desk and propped his chin on a fist.
"You like me." He stated.
"You're my bias. Of course I like you."
What you wanted to do was scream, but settled for a soft smile that wasn't at all hiding your embarrassment.
"I see posters. They me too. Noona really like me."
Your hands flew up to your face to try and hide the blush that formed. You turned to look behind you and noticed the A2 landscape poster you had of him smirking that was directly behind you. Oh god. That's been there each and every time. And he was only just teasing you about it then, in that moment.
"You’re my ultimate bias."
He gasped, hands mimicking your actions. "Really?"
"You're mocking me." You said, folding your arms.
You would say you were attempting to appear standoffish, not embarrassed at all, but really you were resisting the urge to claw your eyes out. Thank god a lot of your other merch was just out of frame.
"You like my smirk Noona?"
"Oh my god Kookie, go to bed."
As if on queue he yawned loudly but somehow still managed to look adorable. What the fuck? He ruffled his hair and yawned again.
"Go to sleep Kookie. You have my Kakao now, we can talk tomorrow if you want."
He nodded sleepily, "Goodnight Noona. Don't worry about what people say."
"Okay Kookie. Goodnight."
He gave you a little wave which you mirrored then watched as he disconnected the call. You turned your attention to your phone, the amount of notifications was ridiculous. You scrolled through your tumblr messages as you went to find something to eat. The sheer amount of hate was, frankly, disgusting. People asking who you were, what made you special, what you had possibly done to make him consider being your friend. You were hurt. There were, however, curious questions put politely which somewhat managed to put a smile on your face. Your follower count had spiked too, so not all bad news.
You decided to follow Jungkook's blog. If he was going to post about you, you wanted to see it. Not long after you had pressed the follow button Jungkook uploaded a selca of himself pouting and covered up to his chin by a duvet. It was captioned 'Noona made me go to bed.' You reblogged with your own caption of 'SLEEP CHILD' He responded almost immediately, 'YES Y/N-CHINGU'. You chuckled to yourself and backed out of the post to scroll through his blog. Besides the screenshots of your Skype calls, he had also uploaded little summaries of your lessons; nothing too descriptive, just brief and to the point in a mix of korean and English. His effort was clear, he'd been keeping up a diary of sorts to track his progress. Cute.
You found the post that must have been from after the first videochat. It was nearly all in Korean, you could only understand bits and pieces. From what you could understand you could tell he had been excited at the time, so excited he had rushed into calling you and forgot to contact you before hand because of that. You laughed to yourself when you continued to scroll and saw memes and G-Dragon. It was typical Jungkook. Even further down were some clips and compilation vids of overwatch youtubers. You couldn't believe Jungkook had a tumblr and it was just so...him. It made you think about how you could know that, how even before you two began skyping you could have guessed the contents of his blog. Was that weird? And what did that make yours? Was it accurate? Did it hit the nail on the head or did he think of you as weird? You felt embarrassment flood you which was made worse when you remembered that one smut you had written about him. But there was no way he would looked that far back on your blog, right? And even if he did he probably didn’t know enough English to understand it. You covered your face with your hands and groaned, you'd probably end up thinking about it all day.
Jeon Jungkook had found your Jungkook blog.
