As the finale is approaching, i just want to say thank you so much for this blog!! For almost a year or two now whenever rkdd updates i rush over here to see what you think, its always the highlight of chapter update day if yk what i mean, so im grateful to you!!! Oh my god! Thank you so much for this message. Honestly, it made me smile despite this disappointment I am feeling inside.

I am still hoping that this is a matter of misunderstanding between AA and the PR of Shueisha. But methinks AA either has had enough of it or the publication axed it. But I think it is the former. Strange that AA has chosen the weapon of destruction to annihilate her characters that is happening in the real world in real time.

Now that it is going to end I wonder if we are getting another anime. That’s the least of what they can do. But I am afraid that we aren’t going to get it at all.

okay, so near the very end of the Case of the Plateau Auberge Serial Murders arc (ch. 45), it is all very Dramatique™ and it seems as if the heroes (i.e., Ron and Toto) are going to die (le GASP!!!)

and i mean it, i'm telling u, COMPLETELY UNPROMPTED,

i can't stop thinking about this. like. the author CHOSE to no-homo their relationship like this, while they're about to die in a fire during a case, by having ron suggest that if people found them with their arms around each other, they'd think they were gay for each other.

it's both freaking hilarious and also absolutely baffling lmao, like is this supposed to discourage shippers??? am i supposed to read toto being like 'HA HA HA i dOn'T wAnT tHaT eiThEr' and ron literally rolling on the ground laughing hysterically and think 'yup, totally platonic bros! bc straight guy friends totally think about whether or not ppl will think they were gay for each other when they're about to die, and also they laugh hysterically about it and protest loudly against the very idea, so they must be straight!'

please tell me someone else who's read the manga read this scene and had THOUGHTS™ because WOW, i can't even articulate what i'm feeling and thinking right now asdfghjkl
