So this is Karl Jacobs (lmao). I never was in any minecraft fandom but in 2022 my best friend introduced me to dsmp and i drew the first karl out of test, and now i'm doomed to draw that over and over.

I like how my colors went from kinda-saturated-because-idk-how-to-color, to not-saturated-at-all-cause-its-easier, to saturated-but-with-more-color-theory-this-time. Also the anatomy (we won't talk about that poor 2022 guy's elbows) and the 3D, a lot better than before. Still far from perfect, but there's an improvement. We'll see how it goes next year.

Although, Evie would keep a watch just in case you decide to maul her brother while he's sleeping.

I don't want to post this, but everytime i go to the MatPat tag to see nice artworks and stuffs by sort it on new, it's always the hate tags. And it's always that thing.

here's my thoughts and defense, feel free to ignore or block if you disagreeing with me.

MatPat never made a Charity for Autism. If you saw his livestreams, it's mostly St. Jude which is benefits Cancer research hospital.

I remember it vividly at one point he said that he was invited by Mark Rober (science youtuber, sometimes appears on MrBeast videos) along with some creators to be in his charity about Autism, he's the one that makes the charity in honor to his son that have Autism, although due to some poor research Mark accidentally picks the Bad organization, some people on the internet warns Mark and affiliated Youtubers that the organization that they funded is a bad one, creators that active on twitter like Karl Jacobs saw the warning and decided to withdrew and not to support it longer, unlike Matt that rarely checks his Twitter due to massive hate he's getting everytime he post a game theory video.

Because of that charity, creators that affiliated with it were deemed ableist by the internet for supporting the bad organization, including MatPat and MrBeast.

Even though he wasn't the one that made the charity, people still assumed he is just because y'all disagree with his theories. (Y'all need to chill)

Secondly, if your reasons is because of his past theories jokes that he made pre-2014-2016, keep in mind the internet was wildly different back then unlike now. Let's say, the jokes that made in the internet back then can aged poorly.

Episode 85- May 16th, 2023- Jaiden Animations Episode- Requested

Author’s note- Sorry for dipping in the middle of chuckle lore week, I got sick. I’m not 100% there yet but I still want to finish what I’ve started even if it’s later than expected. More details on my previous post if you’re interested.

Lore- Jaiden gets significantly cooler compared to her first appearance thanks to her tattoo sleeves and her newfound drug addiction (coke and crack)

Thoughts- I’m not going to lie, I’m a huge Jaiden fan and I was really happy to see it be one of the two episodes chosen for the fan request. I have easily watched this one episode at least five times, it’s the episode that made my mom a fan, the episode I attempted to introduce to my dad (more on that later), and it’s the episode I watched as a pallet cleanser to the Karl Jacobs episode. This is just a long winded way to say I really like this episode.

I was nervous at first that I was overhyping this episode in my head but it still holds up since the last time I watched it in November. Jaiden had really good chemistry with the guys and she seemed a lot more confident compared to her last appearance back in episode 26. The humor and overall banter just hits hard and it’s one of those episodes where no one was trying too hard to be funny. It’s just such a vibe and I hope Jaiden returns as a guest in a future episode. 10/10, don’t question my bias.

Okay story time:

This is the only time I will ever mention my father btw

(For context I had been trying to get my dad to listen to CS for a while but my little siblings aren’t allowed to watch/listen to Schlatt)

There was this one time my stepmom took my brothers out grocery shopping while me and my father were cleaning the house. Usually, my dad would put on the radio as we cleaned but he didn’t for whatever reason that time so I used it as an opportunity to put on this episode of CS without my headphones on.

My father wasn’t fully paying attention, he might’ve gave a comment here or there but it wasn’t until either the Amelia Earhart or the psychic section where he had something to say. It started off with a few fun facts that I don’t really remember but he just made a left turn out of nowhere and starts talking about 9/11 conspiracy theories. I was just so flabbergasted, he kept talking about how it was an inside job by Bush and how somehow McDonald’s was involved?? It was something about the Monopoly sweepstakes scandal and how McDonald’s was going to address everything around the time the towers fell I think???

I have never been so confused in my life but he seemed really excited about it like it was his special interest or something so pop off I guess??? I just kinda paused the episode to let him yap until he was done twenty minutes later and processed what I just heard.

I don’t really talk to him anymore but I think about this interaction at least once a week.

So much media hot air about the term “working people”!

“What is a working person"?" asked the BBC, criticising Labour for not supplying a definition. Jacob Rees-Mogg mocked the use of the term by Labour on GB news and Money Weekly told its readers Keir Starmer was “struggling" to define what he meant by “working people”. The Daily Mail went even further, accusing Labour of giving a “desperate non-definition of “working people".

Unfortunately, Labour has twisted itself in knots trying to placate the media by coming up with a series of inadequate definitions that simply made matters worse, turning a non-story into a political own goal. Labour could have told the media to simply wait until the budget to find out who would be paying more tax but no, they couldn’t keep silent.

As silence doesn’t seem to have been an option maybe they should instead of turned to AI for a definition.  After all, according to Wes Streeting AI is going to help save the NHS so why not use it to help save the Labour Party from its own confusion as to who is a working person?

This is how the AI platform Copilot defines "working people"

"Working people" generally refers to individuals who are employed and earn a living through their labor. This term often encompasses a wide range of occupations, from manual laborers to office workers, and includes both full-time and part-time employees. Given my personal scepticism as to the efficacy of Artificial Intelligence as a cure-all for the follies of human kind I found this definition of “working-people” surprisingly accurate. But perhaps this is the very reason why Sir Kier Starmer and his front bench found the definition of “working people" so difficult.

The very first sentence states that working people are individuals who "earn a living through their labor”. It was Karl Marx who distinguished between the physical capacity to do work and Labour Power, the latter being the agreed price paid to a worker over an agreed period of time for their work.

 Marx argued that In capitalist societies the price paid to the worker for their labour is always LESS than the return for those who employ them. Working people have no option but to sell their labour power to a capitalist employer who owns the “means of production" (factory, office, equipment, raw materials etc) because without their own means of production they have no way of making a living. So, says Marx, half a days work may produce goods and services equal in value to the workers pay, but for the rest of the day the working person is producing “profit” for their employer.

Given the close association between labour power and Karl Marx and communist economic theory no wonder Sir Keir Starmer was reluctant to define “working people” in terms of labour and labour power. Sir Kier hates the left and has purged them from the Labour Party.

I have no idea why Starmer hates the left and have yet to find anyone who does understand his almost paranoid attitude to left wing policies. For now we have to take it as read, which brings us to another objection Starmer might have with AI’s definition of working people.

AI uses the term “collective” to definition working people. This is yet another word that has communist/socialist  overtones, especially as Marx saw working people (or the working class) as a collective class that would rise up against the capitalist class and overthrow them. Whatever else Sir Keir is he is NOT anti-capitalist.

The sad fact is Starmer came to power promising left-wing policies but once elected as Labour leader he slowly reneged of every one of his former pledges. Labour left-wingers have been sacked, demoted and expelled from the party.

Although Starmer describes himself as a “socialist” his chancellor Rachel Reeves bulked at the word, professing to be a “social democrat” rather than a socialist. 

“The day after Starmer proclaimed himself a socialist, his shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves was asked about his statement and responded that she was a social democrat. Social democracy is about socialism, but within capitalism rather than beyond it.” (The Conversation: Is Keir Starmer a socialist?”)

No wonder the Labour Party comes across as confused and indecisive when it comes to defining the term “working people.” Labour  seems so be suffering from a political identity crisis. Starmer tells us he is a socialist yet has purged the Labour Party of anyone remotely socialist.

Again using AI, this is one definition of socialism:

“Socialism is an economic and political system where the means of production, distribution, and exchange are owned or regulated by the community as a whole. The idea is to reduce inequality by distributing wealth more evenly and ensuring that everyone has access to basic needs like healthcare, education, and housing. It emphasizes collective ownership and democratic control over resources and industries, rather than private ownership and profit-driven motives.”

Under this definition Starmer isn’t remotely socialist whatever he may say to the contrary.  Common ownership of the means of production rather than private ownership and profit driven motives are the last thing Starmer or his cabinet will endorse. No wonder they couldn’t find a definition of “working people” that didn’t involve paying lip service to socialist principles and heaven forbid Keir Starmer’s Labour Party would do that.

i remeber back in my dsmp phase where i made a theory vid around the time ranboo died and ghostboo was around. it was about a theory of mine where ranboo was going to get revived later on in the lore because of one piece of evidence. in that karl jacobs time travel series (i forgot the name) he goes to the future and there is a decendent of ranboo there. my logic was that "how could ranboo have a decendent if he died before he could have any biological children? well he must have been revived im order to have biologial childern and then desendents

Hello and welcome to my so incredibly far fetched theory it’s insane :)

On Quackity’s Twitter he posted a picture teasing the Las Vegas arc. In the back ground there are wither roses which are associated with the Inbetween. The Inbetween is associated with Karl.

Las Vegas is known for gambling and there were poker chips with the same smile that was seen in the Inbetween books. This leads me to believe that Quackity is involved in the Inbetween.

How else are Karl and Quakity related in the lore? They are fiancés.

What else is Las Vegas known for? Weddings.

This huge, beautiful, white castle would make an absolutely stunning wedding venue. Don’t you think?

my ideal dreamsmp ending

karl returns from one last travel to the inbetween and looks through his portal to the smp. he feels recognition run deep but can’t remember. he thinks back on the “DONT STRAY FROM THE PATH” book and just runs. there’s something deeply wrong with the inbetween and he has to get out, just not to the smp. he’s not safe there or in the castle. he runs through the halls and all his other versions start chasing after him. he’s become aware there’s nothing he can do to save what he loves, no matter where and when he travels to. even if he can’t remember them. he turns down a corridor and realizes he’s cornered. as the other versions of himself close in and prepare to k!ll him, he closes his eyes and braces for it. but then there’s just... nothing. he feels nothing and hears nothing. when he opens his eyes, he’s traveling through time again but this time, without his portal. he sees the smp again this time in ruins. everyone is gone but in the destruction, there’s a glimmer of something else. he moves closer through the rubble and sees it’s a portal to another dimension. it’s exactly the same but not perfectly. everyone is there and they’re happy. from what he sees, it’s an alternate version of the smp. everyones alive. while he knows there is bound to be conflict he can’t prevent, he wants more time with them. before he leaves to join them, he carves his spiral into a rock and lays it next to sapnap and quackity’s bodies. he leaves to meet them and everyone else for the first time again.

basically, karl’s powers link to the start of the new server on 1.17. he learns to travel not only to different times but different alternative dimensions.

Just... I don't know what the 8th story is going to be. He said similar to the city of mizu, didn't he? More storylined? I don't know. It's late and I have things to do but I'm sat watching the VOD of the after the tales thing.

Either way. There's one more story space in that library of his.

And a thought that I had:

We don't know which of the books are trying to help Karl.

Did any of us consider that the books telling Karl to stay on the path could be saving him from whatever is on the other side of the portal?

Clearly there are two feuding books. The one telling him to leave the path, and the one telling him to stay on it.

We all automatically assume the one telling Karl to get off the path is helping him. By keeping him off of the path and out of sight of something.

But, as with the dream smp, manipulation is a big part in anything.

And often with manipulation comes a smiley face. And what have we seen? ":]".

What if the one that we think is "saving" Karl, is actually manipulating him into going into the portal and losing everything for good?

I have no evidence other than being hidden from whatever didn't stop there being a wither rose with a book. Wither rose that symbolizes the loss of a peaceful, one could say innocent, life.

Maybe we all think the Inbetween is bad because of the eery vibes the wither roses give us, but then we all rejoice the moment something else tells us that the castle can't see Karl but there is one of those exact roses sitting there.

karl is loosing his memory everytime he travels and when he comes back he goes through the inbetween (i haven't watched all of the totsmp streams so i dont have the full info) but what if ranboo is not half enderman but an enderman that for some reason ended up in the inbetween and because mobs are much weaker than regular players he got consumed by the inbetween and lost his memories just like karl is losing his and he could even be from a time far before the smp but time travelled on accident which explains the memory loss and that no one seems to figure out what his other half is.

Dimension Traveler Karl Theory?

I know, I know. He’s a time traveler.

But what if he wasn’t meant to be? What if the reason he can interact with the past at all is because he has different abilities?

So here’s what I propose. Karl was originally a dimension traveler. Maybe he comes from a family or group of them, maybe he’s alone. Either way, his job is to record what can be, not what is. What’s possible, not what’s certain. It’s why he’s more bright colors.

The Inbetween is for time travelers, but they don’t possess the ability to interfere with the past. They’re more invisible bystanders than anything, watching events already set in stone. Monochrome colors.

Someone in the Inbetween, for whatever reason, takes Karl. Mess with his memory. Make him a blank slate. Modify his abilities to match their own. 

Why? Who knows. Maybe a grudge between parties. Maybe they needed someone new.

For whatever reason, it doesn’t last long. Karl ends up in the SMP, unable to remember his abilities at all, until he unintentionally time travels the first time.

The next two times are pretty much the same. He’s a bystander. Watching, unable to interfere or change things.

The third time, at the Masquerade, is when things change. Because he’s not just watching, he’s there in person. 

Maybe his locked away dimension traveling abilities evolved and merged with his time traveling ones, making it so that, unlike anyone else has ever managed, he’s not only capable of changing the past, he’s capable of existing there.

This is just a theory, of course. It’s mostly based on the fact that he’s listed as an Interdimensional being in the wiki, and some other theories I’ve seen around. It’s a neat idea, though, isn’t it?
