Would like to add to it that I understand why some people enjoy the "Tsundere" fantasy of Kevin but it gets frustrating when the market is completely oversaturated with the kind of fics that I wouldn't even recognize were written with Kevin in mind unless they were tagged so.

I believe Kevin MIGHT get a pretend one-sided girlfriend strictly to use her to fuck with Eva in some way, He's incredibly high on the ASPD spectrum and although he's also able to mask quite well I doubt he'll even bother enough to mask in front a potential partner because to him there's no potential he simply doesn't gaf about a romantic connection.

Yes he likes to abuse people, Yes it would be easy for him to acquire a partner who he can abuse, But he has absolutely no interest in putting in any kind of effort to maintain a relationship no matter how toxic/distant it is because his entire world really does simply revolve around Eva.

It's the reason why in my fic I decided to take Eva and Celia out of the picture entirely because without Eva present he would have absolutely no motivation to really go out of his way to find someone new to obsess over and abuse.

Like Kevonica said the majority of the fandom is movie only, And yes while they miss a lot of important things about Kevin's connection with Eva I think the complete absence of Lenny and his "friendship" with him is the even larger cause of the complete misunderstanding of Kevin as a person. We get glimpses of Kevin interacting with someone who is not in his family in a somewhat friendly and semi mask-off manner, And it's SO important when writing about him interacting with another person of the same category. Kevin never really makes any sort of effort in his relationship with Lenny, Lenny just follows him around and admires him which to Kevin makes him useful in two ways:

A. Lenny is easily manipulated to perform acts that Kevin finds amusing

B. *He never has to uphold anything in the "friendship"*

Just something I thought would be nice to add.
