1. First game you played obsessively?

Kirby and the amazing mirror! Like, as in terribly utterly obsessed because I loved how the game looked, felt, and played! And I was huge on Kirby the entire time too! And that was just me at age 5, tbh, when you had 3 other kirbies adventuring with you, it was hard not having fun!!! 

Plus, Dark Mind was my favorite boss ever! And dark meta knight??? I never expected him to be a villain at all!

5. Ever use cheat codes?

Not at all unless I really needed it to do certain things! (I.E: For my own research purposes)or when I simply am emulating and just need to get things quicker lmao.

I generally try not to though so at least I’m staying true to the games!

...And also because generally the codes confuse me if they aren’t in game already lmfao

14. Favorite game music?

Ooooh, definitely from either Final Fantasy, Kirby, or Pokemon..!

But I also love Persona 2′s soundtrack and battle themes, while I dearly loved FFVI’s boss battle and Terra’s theme. Pokemon had Cynthia’s battle theme as well as many songs from Emerald and Kirby all around usually was great songs!Especially cabbage cavern, that was my favorite ever in a game soundtrack!

50. If you were a game designer, what masterpiece would you create?

You know? Honestly, masterpiece wise I’d try to string a great plot or character design in terms of the visuals and savoring of a game. Me personally, a game needs to hold visually and theoretically so that it allows for replay! I’d rather replay a game that immerses you in a strong plot and good characters than just merely a beautiful landscape.

If there’s no real story, no real sewn characters in say, a decrepit game space like the GBA or say something very unappealing, why play it?

That is how I feel about most games, and it also happens to be why I play a lot of Persona! Honestly, the old persona games held themselves up the way how it characterized Philemon or Nyarlathotep as well as my girl Eriko Kirishima amongst others, and while the game was not artistically the most pleasant in terms of dungeon designs and environments in my honest opinion, it didn’t need that when the plot was building itself and the capabilities of the Ps1 didn’t give it the visuals we have as in P5! 

Instead, we had a wonderfully complex plot involving forgiveness, the duality of man, the vulnerability of the human reason, and so on!

I wanna model that for myself later in, maybe with my OCs as well!

Featuring: the Early Era

A being born of millions of last wishes given physical form, Terra Knight hails from the same planet as the famed Sir Meteor, who took him in, raising him as his little brother. With time, Terra's calling from the stars became too loud to ignore, prompting him to join the Galaxy Soldier Army. The stars sing with praise when Terra fights for the greater good. Sir Meteor looks at him with pride. And it makes him feel empty. The empty void goes ignored, for now, but fear the day he decides to fill it.

Terra here is my first kirby OC I ever made and yet is woefully rarely shown! These two are siblings, and Meteor raised his brother!

The bottom drawing in particular is reflects how alligators carry their young! Terra always felt so safe when his brother carried him like that and it’s something he misses dearly. I sure hope nothing bad happens to them!

Terra Knight fostered a emptiness which grew into a ugly, potent resentment for his cause and for his own brother Sir Meteor. Stabbing his brother in the back and framing him for the crime, Terra then fled. Joining Haltmann Works Co. was his fresh start. Quickly ranks were climbed: ultimately becoming head of security, as well as close personal confidant to the noble president. After the loss of the president's daughter, Terra Knight was by his side, encouraging him to pursue the mechanization of planets to get her back. As being born of millions of last wishes given physical form, is it surprising that he holds little regard for life?

Kirby Star Allies Icons for my OCs!

I've been slowly making (and remaking) icons for my OCs since 2024, and now I have enough for a whole rainbow's worth <3 I've had fun developing the variant style especially, it has grown since my first attempt! I've been using these all in my Art Fight, but wanted to put them on here for archival purposes!

If you ever wanted to go into more detail, I am low-key curious about Terra. Why is he a cowboy? Why did he fall in with Haltmann? What kind of relationship do they have? Terra seems *happy*, but the vibes are, uh...I get the feeling it's not necessarily a *healthy* relationship for him. (Kinda curious about your take on Haltmann too. He seems to be in good spirits! Which may be a bad sign, given his uh, whole deal. Maybe.) I dunno there's like a very omnious undercurrent there overall. It is very compelling. I sure hope nothing terrible befalls Sir Meteor's beloved little bro. T_T7 (Surely, nothing will!!!!! Surely.)

>> A simple tech startup had heard rumors in the industry of the blueprints for a Wishing Star listed for auction. Most CEOs would advise him to not chase after fairy tales. However, spoils went to the highest bidder. >> Max Profit Haltmann was the only bidder.

The circumstances that led to Terra coming across the blueprints made him enemies. Haltmann winning the bid was not only a monetary boon, but once he agreed to let Terra work for the company, it was a safe haven. He was happy to be free of his past in a new environment, but as Terra helped the young Haltmann work on the skeleton of the machine the two naturally bonded. This made Terra truly happy--he would do anything to stay this way. Haltmann initially kept Terra close out of curiosity and suspicion, but grew to discover the two of them were so closely aligned in their goals.

>> Quickly, Terra was becoming a member of the family. From early on, records indicate he was Max's closest confidant.

They have like minds and values! Terra is a great fit for the company, and is very influential in the development. Excited for the wish he would get to make and scared of the past catching up to him, Terra used his growing company shares to encourage safety to be discarded in the workplace so the Wishing Star could be built faster. When the daughter of the Noble President was lost to an unfortunate accident that could not have been prevented, Terra was Max's sole comfort.

Haltmann's grief made him fixate on the Wishing Star as well--so who else was at his side to encourage him to discard backwater planets for resources, other than Terra? This new goal brought the two even closer. Never was there any disagreement, and the two pushed each other and their ambitions.

What are they to each other? Co-workers of course!

>> Haltmann trusted no other soul so dearly! Terra was promoted to vice-president, and head of security, trusting the other to keep him safe.

Terra himself has genuinely never been so happy with his place in life, and so he would never say no to his President! He willingly drops everything to fulfil Max's wishes on a dime. Nobody else wants to keep the President as safe and happy. Terra proves this with more than action, giving Max full say over what happens to his body--its a company asset after all. If the Vice President needs improvements in order to fulfil his role, they happen. And Terra is delighted this way.

Such enthusiasm is rarely seen in the ranks, Haltmann is fascinated by this attitude, taking full advantage of it. This passionate... co-worker bond is mutual. One of the most notable modifications that Our Noble President Haltmann saw fit for Terra to undergo is an implant in both his ears. The reason why is a longer story, however Terra was effectively rendered deaf, save for when Max chooses he does not need to be. Terra only hears the voice of Our Noble President Haltmann. And Terra is happy this way.

>> When the Noble President Haltmann started to loose his judgement as a side affect of his work with the Wishing Star, Terra's loyality never wavered once. Even when it should have. > > > >>> LOG END. <<<

I wasnt able to get into everything you asked since this was already getting long! I might have to make more posts. As for that first question--why is he a cow? Terra's cow features in of themselves are a important thing! Symbolism a large factor in his design. His ambigous cow/goat/horse features, in combination with the tag he chooses to wear, are foreshadowing of his eventual fate. Unfamiliar with his fate? The songs Butcher's Vanity and The Dismemberment Song can be starting points 🥩 ^-^ 🥩

This is no reference sheet, and the design is still a work in progress, but I redesigned my oldest Kirby oc, Terra Knight!

>> A celestial being born from the dying wish of a planet. Despite having a natural talent for fighting, Terra Knight lets it go to waste in favor of the pursuit of knowledge. One mystery he hungered to solve was why the stars cried to him, spurring him to join the GSA. Upon becoming mixed in a conspiracy, he steals the blueprints for NOVA, desserts the army entirely, and eventually finds himself working for the Haltmann Works Company. >> A celestial being born of dying planets could only thrive there.
