Soldier: Arkham Knight | Why? He's a super soldier, and while Solder wasn't actually in the army, I feel like Arkham Knight could really put Soldier's weapons to good use

Pyro: Firefly | Why? He's a pyromaniac, duh

Demoman: Penguin | Why? I DON'T KNOW 😭😭

Heavy: Bane | Why? Look how strong he is!!!

Engineer: Riddler | Why? Riddler's smart and Engineer has 11 PhDs

Medic: Poison Ivy | Why? Plants make medicine

Sniper: Deathstroke | Why? Even though he's TECHNICALLY not a Batman villain, I'm including him. Plus, he's a hired assassin like Sniper.

Spy: Two-Face | Why? Spy wears a suit, so does Two-Face, also I feel like the idea of hiding his face behind the disguise masks sorta correlates with Two-Face

Ms Pauling: Harley Quinn | Why? Cuz Joker is the administrator

Administrator: Joker | Why? Cuz he's Batman's main villain (wait so technically is Batman like Grey Mann? Don't think too hard about it actually)

MERCS AT THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE

scout: if you double dog dare scout and put 50 bucks up for him to show up in a princess dress and one of those frilly dunce caps, and maybe front the money for the costume, scout will absolutely show up looking like he stepped off the set of a disney live action remake with a twentieth of the budget. and this is the best time to have with scout. he gets a lot of stares, a lot of drunken jokes, and if you get him a couple shots, he’s in a wonderful mood most of the day.

soldier: soldier’s not nordic by any stretch of the imagination but he’ll be damned if he doesn’t get the biggest god damn drinking horn he possibly can. he looks like a small dog with a large stick, and he’s got quite the ego as he hauls it around. he will make a yearly trip to the ren faire to grow his collection. he will stop at nine, one for each teammate, and when everyone has one, the red team will quickly be known as the team that throws the most batshit ragers.

pyro: pyro normally will stick with engineer, and wherever he decides to go is where pyro will follow. pyro only asks that they stop by the mermaids and the faeries and the travelers section. and while this is all very nice and enjoyable, and pyro will always enjoy themselves at the ren faire, pyro gets a real kick out of watching the blacksmiths with engie. they love to look at the axes, and if they have the spending money, they’ll commission to get a personalized hatchet. will put a dress on over their suit, they don’t care. will also do the “main quest” of the ren faire. they think it’s fun to call themselves knight pyro.

demoman: demo is exclusively showing up and showing out for pirate weekend. and he’s going the whole nine yards. we’re gonna start with the fact that he’s showing up in a kilt, a hat, and locs down to his asshole, minimum. and he’s bringing the eyelander. it would be rude of him not to. loves when the tartanic comes to play. he will be drunk, he will be marginally crass, and anyone who tags along with him is spending a minimum of 500 bucks that day. he is incredibly invested and excited to speak with the demolitions expert, located in the pirate’s cove. he will ask if he can put together his own little cannon show. they will only let him if they don’t want to be rehired next year.

heavy: heavy actually bought his ticket and a ticket for one other member of the team for the pub crawl two weeks in advance. now it’s sold out and nobody else on the team can join him for his pub crawl unless he picks them to go. heavy doesn’t want to admit how good of a time he has at the renaissance faire. honestly, if he can’t get shitfaced, he’s really not having a good time! and if he can’t break away from the team fast enough to go indulge himself, he’s just playing babysitter. and he really doesn’t want to do that.

engineer: engineer will opt for a steampunk vibe, and that’s if he bothers to dress up. he’s really more likely to pick up and hodge podge together a marginally okay looking costume. depending on what’s left of the costume rental, and if pyro pushes for it hard enough, he might rent a costume. but he’s not putting anything green on. you’re not gonna have him looking like shrek in public, you got him fucked up. if there is a red costume left, that’s what he will opt for. his first stop is always to the blacksmith. he wants to see what they’re doing every time he shows up. and he will buy something from them. even if it’s just a brooch or a small dagger. he really can’t help but stop at any metalworker available. it’s not his specialty, but he wishes it was.

medic: the doctor will pretend like he is not having a good time. he is having a good time, he would just actually rather be in europe again. but he appreciates the attempt americans make to appreciate a culture that was never theirs. and the shops are quite interesting! he isn’t putting on a costume, don’t ask or he will almost aggressively decline the request. he will get stuck anywhere in which he can make something. if there is a perfume maker, he will be there for an hour minimum, crafting himself a specialized abomination of a scent.

sniper: engineer will not want to do the main quest of the renaissance faire with pyro, but sniper absolutely will. he reckons it’s an option in the faire for a reason. and when he looks over the quest, it’s a pretty good way to hit everything the faire has to offer! so he will normally take pyro and go accomplish their mission. as they do that, they eat their way around! a turkey leg here, a kebab there, maybe something sweet if they’re feeling really indulgent. all in all, sniper enjoys himself. will go show off at the archery range. pyro gets so hyped every time.

spy: spy is only a fan of the renaissance faire because it’s way too easy to fake a costume, if he doesn’t just sneak in under the disguise of a member of staff. then he’ll just switch disguises again. because of this, he is normally the most impressive looking one out of the group, according to the public. the team is never impressed, and their reactions to spy getting complimented is odd, from the outside perspective. however, spy is usually the one heavy chooses to partake in the pub crawl with. spy never finishes his beers, so it’s just double for heavy. nobody questions this because heavy is such a large guy they assume (correctly) that he can handle a couple extra drinks.

very stupid idea for yandere tf2

I imagine just one Halloween with merasmus practicing spell or reading some spell book until soldier bursts into merasmus's place causing some life potion on a shelf to fall off and land on some kind of helmet of armor turn some Knight armor laying around into a fully conscious person now but they are just alive armor but slowly over time is just becoming more and more alive yet need to keep on their helmet as the helmet is kinda the thing keeping their 'body' alive. And just imagining merasmus treating y/n like his child.

Y/n: "okay merasmus, I'm going out."

Merasmus: "okay be back before te- wait at minute. Is that the mercenaries van! You are not going with the mercenaries! Go back to your room!"

Y/n: "you never let me go out with my friends for anything!"

Also just imagining y/n has a cape or colored feather depending on the type of armor they have and can change it. But they can only come onto base on Halloween cause merasmus made a deal that y/n gets to go out one some holidays but not all of them. I do imagine pyro and y/n are besties because well y/n isn't afraid of being in fire and they basically have to heat their armor sometimes to get dents out and all plus love to imagine just pyro doodling on y/n's armor and merasmus being just pissed off because of how long it takes to get what ever liquid chalk or paint pyro used on them.

Merasmus: "what the-? Who is that?"

Knight y/n: "oh it's scout. He can to pick me up."

*merasmus blocking door* "you will not be going out with that mercenary!"

Knight y/n: "But merasmus, Im going to miss Halloween night!"

Merasmus: "Go back to your room!"

Knight y/n: "I DONT EVEN HAVE A ROOM!"

Merasmus: "oh...I was meaning to clear out my study to make you one but-..THEN GO BACK YOUR ARMOR GLASS CASING!" *Y/n cries and runs away*

Scout: "I'll be back for you, y/n!" *Merasmus throws a shoe at scout*

(I just thought of that cause it was dumb)

Also medic is weird and wants to see what inside of y/n. There's nothing but no matter how many times y/n tell medic this, medic thinks y/n is lying. But then y/n then agreed to have medic stop asking and medic was surprised that there was nothing but every time he put his hand into y/n's hollow body of armor it feels like a body in there as well as skin are in there and even y/n feels it but medic is more intrigued but y/n regrets it cause now medic wonders if he could possibly replace y/n's heart like he did heavy.

Also I love to imagine if y/n ever stays over at the red base, heavy let's y/n have one of his spare pajamas and it's oversized of course but y/n if trying to place their armor nicely somewhere to keep it from being damaged but going back to the helmet letting them have a body. I imagine just with some magic is that any clothes they have on is just their body and can be easily swapped into different clothes or something.

Hello! Have a tf2 request for you if you like. GNC reader, romantic or platonic, whichever Mercs you would like.

Reader is the new Tenth Class! They have been fighting alongside the team for a long time now, effective on the battlefield and easy to get along with otherwise.

One day, the team may start to notice some odd changes to their teammate. Reader is always feeling hungry, they are more sensitive to smells as of late, and they have become a bit more brutal in battle. In top of all that, sometimes one could *swear* Reader looks at them like they want to eat them.

Of course, Reader is completely oblivious to all of this (cause it's funny that way). It's almost no surprise when their teammate finds them collapsed on the floor, writhing in hunger pangs. Reader's eyes go red, hearing everything all at once... including the beating of their friend's heart. What follows is a blur, but let out be known that not even Heavy can withstand the force of a starving creature.

Tldr, Reader has been turned into a vampire at some point, and is completely oblivious and doesn't notice anything wrong... Until its too late~

•After connecting all the dots,he gasp after having the idea of you begin a vampire.

•Then he laughed about it and brush it away from this mind.

•After 1 day especially after he heard some noise that belong to you(like steps or growls),he think about it again.

•And he lowkey think that's hot.

•As long you don't suck him dry in the undesirable way then he chillin'.

•But that doesn't mean he won't turn you back into a human if he had a chance.

•Because you're scaring him shitless.

•He will help you through some problems,like putting an umbrella above your head whatever you're about to go out in the sun like some sort of a knight in shining armor.

•Will take advantage of your situation to throw some cheesy,corny pick up line that he probably took from Google and poor you absolutely confused why he talks about vampire so much.

•He wonder since you're a not a human does that mean you're burning differently too? Like faster and more painful?

•he likes you a lot so he won't risk putting you in deep pain for the sake of his sick desires and argue.

•But he can't handle it,he's so so curious about your vampirism.

•However whatever he's asking you some question using paper and pen,you look skeptical when you're reading the notes.

•Saying that you don't understand what is he talking about and returning the notes thinking that's part of this daily delusional.

•Huh,maybe this is a close secret of your that he was only able to caught and you're acting dumb so he won't expose you? Eh it's better to keep this mouth zipped,after all revealing the secrets of your close ones to other is very bad.

•the first 30 seconds and he already know what you are.

Tf2 cardcaptor au part 1

Pauling is either working in a bookstore who is trying to find a particular old book for a client - administrator ( not named that here) or she's working for Administrator directly to find this Book.

Either way, she finds this book. It's the clow book. But as soon as she opens it, the cards come out and fly away. You know like with Sakura.

But instead the cards work a bit different here. Some cards have Merged due to such inactivity they started running low on magic. And so they merged to try and conserve magic.

Some more than others.

The cards also have a human as well as pure magic form.

The one card Pauling held into was the Breeze ( shout out to @infini-tree for the name. Also go check out her art she's great. And she puts up with all my weird ass AUs and crossovers and so on and so forth. I already dragged her into animorphs)

Anyway The Breeze... is Medics card. ( Red medic specifically). Nothing happens with him until some time afterwards.

Pauling is Freaking out. She found the book. But everything Flew out. She doesn't know How or Why but she knows that her client probably wants what's In the Book.

She spends some time trying to figure out what to Do. She's looking at the Card she has (the breeze is a mix of the Fly, float and Windy) and it's got a holographic/ lenticular effect where if you move it back and forth the picture changes and you can catch a glimpse of the Component Cards it absorbed.

That night she gets a Dream where she sees the Cards and a flurry of magic but most importantly she sees the Key/ wand.

The next day, she notices a weird bird / not a Normal White Dove hanging around. She doesn't think much of it but talks to the bird, partly to herself as well. And then it talks back.

It introduces itself with a German Accent and says he's the Breeze Card, and that she's a card captor now. She released them all and now she needs to collect them all.

This is all too much for Pauling but there's no time to process it all. He's right. She's got to get those cards back so she agrees. Medic here is playing the role of Kero because I didn't want to cast Kero. I suppose I could have had Bidwell and Reedy take on the roles of Kero and Yue(?) but I like condensing this.

Anyway Pauling officially signs her name on Breezes card, putting him under her mastery/ command. He gives her everything she needs to know.

She does sees Medics human form at one point but idk when.

As the Breeze, he can give her the ability to fly/ manipulate wind in general.

I can go more detailed and step by step plot wise if anyone really wants in a different post but here's the break down at the moment for who's who card wise

Breeze ( fly/ windy/ float) - red medic

Dash ( if I don't bring the Blu team as extra cards he becomes the agility or the Movement/ Speed a mix of dash and jump)- red Scout

The create - red engineer ( if with the Blu engineer they become a half fuses card that rejects the fusion and breaks into the Create and the Copy with Blu engineer becoming the Copy)

The illusion/ mirror- red spy

The strong/ strength- red heavy

The Fight( renamed the Combat)- red soldier

The Knight- ( sword/ shield fusion)- red demo ( the sword is Eyelander. He's still there and can Talk he's just not his own card anymore. I went with the demo knight theme instead of explosions because I didn't think there eas an explosion clow card and I wanted to Do something with that sub class idea)

The arrow(?) will consider going back and revising- red sniper

Scout: Ataru (Agility form) Spy: Makashi (elegance form) if we wanna get specific reverse grip, maybe jar'kai Soldier: Djem So (Aggression form) Pyro: Ataru (just feels right lol) Heavy: Djem So Medic: Shii Cho because I don't think he's allowed to really specialize in a form but everyone gets taught Form I soooo Sniper: Djem So or Niman Demo: Ataru or Niman (Sniper and Demo just strike me as people who want the fight to end as efficiently as possible so Niman) Engineer: Soresu (endurance form usually used in defensive manner)

Lightsaber colors and force use

Scout: Blue lightsaber, Unifying Force Spy: Orange lightsaber. Tentatively Unifying Force as well. He is such a Jedi Shadow to me Solider: Blue lightsaber. Inclined to say Living Force Pyro: Blue lightsaber. lowkey cosmic force vibes but im sure someone will say that doesnt work so unifying force because their ass is not living in the here and now Demo: Green lightsaber, Living Force. Heavy: lowkey gives Jedi Sentinel vibes even if that doesn't work for plot but still. So yellow lightsaber. In the comics when he and scout go off to the australium mine he shows the ability to look ahead at the big picture so I'm giving him Unifying Force Medic: Green lightsaber, Living Force Sniper: Not giving blue or green at all, I kinda want to give him Orange (cries) tentatively Living Force. I am willing to hear people out on Sniper. Engineer: Green lightsaber, Living Force

I should elaborate that Living Force users are more focused on the here and now, and the connections between living things, pretty solid people while Unifying Force users tend to look to the future, think ahead, see the big picture, and I wouldnt say they have their head stuck in the clouds but they're more likely to be doing that then Living Force users. So Scout is Unifying because he daydreams, Soldier is Living because here and now and not thinking ahead, Heavy sees the big picture so Unifying, etc. No one fits every definition of one type of force and thats ok If some mercs were jedi and some were clones (clone war time)

Jedi: Scout, Spy (a Jedi Shadow to be specific because they are literally spies), Engineer, maybe Pyro Clones: Soldier (duh) Heavy (he's the heavy weapons guy guys) Demo, Medic (CMO clone), Sniper. maybe pyro

I guess my main distinction is which ones main w a gun +Demo +Medic are the clones. I feel like Engineer's job could plausibly place him as a clone trooper but it doesn't seem right, Pyro could maybe be a clone who like refuses to take off their helmet. Scout is a Jedi to me because clones don’t have fathers and so we can’t follow that plot line if either scout nor spy are clones

Notes about AUs

in this au the Administrator is Palpatine and there is no Chosen One stuff she's just orchestrating both sides of the war to gain power in the Senate and then killing off the jedi with order 66. Spy can't be Scout's Padawan Master so Engineer would have to be Scout's Master. Pyro is a new Knight if he's a Jedi. Jedi get knighted typically *after* 25 years of age or that species' equivalent, typical knighting age being like. 25-30. Obi-Wan and Anakin are the Spiders Georg of jedi knighting. So Scout being 27, he's probably going to get knighted for the sake of the Clone Wars soon.

Plots:

All mercs as Jedi: idk just them doing shenanigans. Imagine if I sent them to deal with Mandalore that would coooookkk can you imagine. Spy infiltrates Kyr'stad/Death Watch. Engineer protects the New Mandalorians. Soldier somehow gets clan adopted into the Haat'Mand'ade/True Mandalorians because they're like "he has mandokarla". This will not bode well for Spy when Death Watch eventually attacks the True Mandalorians and Soldier is there just. Destroying Kyr'stad and Spy is like "hmm. i am in trouble." Someone in the Haat'Mand'ade definitely tries to say the gai bal manda to Pyro and adopt him but Engineer spawns in out of nowhere and is like "this is. this is a grown man." the mandalorian is unfazed because these fuckers will adopt people as kids, as brothers, as clan members, as wards, etc. they do not care. Engineer is at a loss for words. Where are Medic and Heavy? At the Temple, trying to convince the High Council to let them join their team on Manda'yaim and bring supplies. That's right those two have to deal with (shudder) politics. Actually if Engineer is with the Everaade he's also dealing with politics because the New Mandalorians do nothing but politic talk soooooo lol. Demo and Scout get lost from the group and Demo hears about Soldier being clan adopted by the Haat'Mand'ade but the news has been so warped by word of mouth gossip that Demo thinks Soldier has been kidnapped by the Haat'Mand'ade, which is like THE faction that people know the least about even though they are my favorite so Demo is like. On a mission to hunt down the True Mandalorians and fight them and save Soldier and Scout is just along for the ride. Sniper is with Engineer because I feel bad that Engineer is alone when the Senate mission was to literally protect the New Mandalorians. Sniper DGAF tho, not until Kyr'stad bombs the New Mandalorian capital. Especially because New Mandalorians HATE weapons so they're like "what do you do." Sniper: "I'm a sniper." New Mandalorians: "Eww wtffff" Sniper: "It's a good job >:(" New Mandalorians: "Erm actually you are killing people which is bad. have you tried talking to people" Sniper: ... Wait im cooking this is a whole plot. yay

Some mercs as clones: Clone Wars but from Scout's POV, if Spy reveals his parentage it would be while sacrificing himself for Scout during Order 66 so Scout can get away. the plot is literally just "ough agh the horrors of war that us jedi were not prepared for. also i want to know my clone troops better"

TF2 Fantacy AU

This is based on a TikTok Video i found of the mercs drawn as Fantasy character so i will using that for what the character look like.

Backstory - In the land of Teufortia, it was a semi peaceful land with the only problem being dragons, evil sorcerers, wild creatures and other things, the main part of Teufortia was the big town and the castle run by a queen called 'Lady Helen the Adminiatrator' with her right hand apprentice, 'Miss.'Fiona' Pauling the Magician', One day, The Lady had a meeting with a Lord named 'Lord Grey Mann' from another land called 'Graymeania', Grey was the new lord to the throne of Graymeania after his 2 older brothers Redmond and Blutarch passed away 'suddenly' (Grey killed them) and now, he was here to threaten the lady to give up her throne so Grey could explains his land and 'make it a safer place from the bad things' which in reality, Grey wanted the land so he could turn into a factory for making robots to defeat all the bad things, the lady didn't like this and she was kidnapped one night by Grey leaving Miss.Pauling to save her but she couldn't do it alone as the land was a dangerous place so she decided to find some people to help her out and save Lady Helen.

Scout the Theif - Scout grew up poor with a single mother and 8 older half brothers so he became a theif just to feed himself and his family, he didn't know who his dad was as he was a one night stand baby who his mother decided to keep despite his half brothers complains and the brothers ended up liking him but they were also starting to leave the home to travel only leaving scout alone with his mother by the time he was 13, Miss.pauling bumps into Scout after seeing him successfully steal a whole bread from a bread shop without getting notice so she decide to recruit him being the second member of her team, Adout fell in love with Miss.Pauling like a girl seeing her seeing her high school crush so he was constantly flirting with her even if she wasn't interested in him or men for that matter, Scout is a great theif and he main weapon is a staff with a hook on the end which help with stealing stuff.

Soldier the Knight - Soldier is a wild Knight who does his own thing, the other castle knights don't like working with him as he is so wild so he became a outcast from the castle knights, he was a good, loyal knight though and he has managed to protect the castle from so many things trying to attack it, his story was that he grew up an orphan with no location on where he parents went and he grew up on survival instincts and using people, the only friend he did have growing up was the blacksmith's son, Engineer and the pair were inseparable being seen together daily, the pair soon realise when they were teens that they had a massive crush on each other so the pair end up dating when Engineer turned 18, the pair soon got secretly married 3 years later and they been together since, Miss.Pauling finds Soldier outside the castle and he ends up being the first one she recruits which was easy as all she had to do was ask if he wanted to come be a hero and he was happy to do it.

Pyro the Goblin - Pyro grew up alone in the woods not knowing anything only that fire was amazing, the area he lives is completely burnt from how much he loves watching fire and he also somehow gained the ability to make fire himself, Miss.Pauling finds Pyro in his home territory and she was about to fight him as he was getting hostile but then stopped getting fascinated by Miss.Pauling's magic as it was sparkly and fascinating, Pyro ends up being the fifth recruit and he ends up being a good fire user.

Demo the Bounty Hunter - Demoman grew up outside Teufortia with just his mother while his father passed away in a tragic accident but moved to the place as his mother kicked him out to get a job, Demo took up the jon of being a Bounty Hunter as it was easy money and it was both targeting humanoids and creatures, Miss.Pauling finds demo at a pub after visiting a new town and after watching fight off a beast that attacked the town, demo became the fourth recruit to Miss.Pauling's team.

Heavy the Orc - Heavy was the strongest orc out of all the orcs, he grew with with a single mom and 3 sisters after his dad died protecting them from the enemy of the orcs, the ogres, when heavy was 15, since then, heavy has been protecting his mom and sisters like his life depends on it which his sisters don't like as he's like a strict dad to them, Miss.Pauling finds heavy after he protected her and the others from a giant boulder and heavy invited them to his hometown, he looked after the group and after some convincing from Miss.Pauling and Heavy's Sisters, heavy decides to join Miss.Pauling's team being the last member of the team, also Miss.Pauling ends up falling in love with Heavy's sisters as they were strong and very attractive in her opinion.

Engineer the BlackSmith - Engineer grew with with his single father, Fred and his grandfather, Radigan, his grandma passed a few months before he was born and his mother passed during childbirth leaving Fred and Radigan to raise Engineer together, Engineer loved both his dad and grandad and he was devastated when Radigan passed away when he was 8 leaving the BlackSmith shop to his dad, Engineer met Soldier when he was 3 and Soldier had just turned 4 after Soldier accidentally caused damaged to the front of the blacksmith shop making Engineer interested in him and when Soldier heard the news that Engineer's grandad passed away, he comforter Engineer untill he fell asleep, Soldier then took Engineer back home carrying Engineer brial style and when Fred sees Soldier holding the sleeping Engineer in his arm, Fred know that Soldier wasn't as bad as he thought he was, When Engineer had his 18th birthday, Fred passed the BlackSmith shop to Engineer as he wanted to retire and Engineer was stunned by the gift and thanked his dad crying happily, Engineer has since run the BlackSmith shop with his childhood friend and husband, Soldier by his side and he had a really good buisness, when Soldier came home one day with Miss.Pauling and Scout, he told Engineer about what was going on and Engineer decided to tag along being the third recruit as his family had history with the Lady Adminiatrator making Soldier happy he was coming along, Soldier then made it his mission to be husband of the decade and protect Engineer like his life depended on it and Engineer really apprenticed it.

Medic the Wizard - Medic is from a land of expert wizard and he was also a expert wizard knowing every magic spell known to wizard kind, the problem with Medic was he was also a little insane as he loved to use his magic to experiment on people making him get kicked out of his hometown when he was 18, Medic traveled around trying to find his place but he never did untill one day he was saved by Sniper after a big scary creature tries to attack him, Medic thanked Sniper for saving him and the pair decided to stick together as both of them were wonders, the pair soon grew to like each other romantically the more they stuck together and soon, the pair were married and have been ever since, Miss.Pauling ends up finding both Medic and Sniper after watching the pair fight a dragon type creature and she decided to recruit them making medic the seventh recruit to Miss.Pauling's team, Medic was not only the wizard of the team but he was also the healer too as his magic could heal anyone from anything.

Sniper the Creature Hunter - Sniper who was a elf grew up with his 'adopted' parents but he preferred to be a lone wolf, he ended up leaving home at 16 a few days after he finished school and went off to train, he was training to be a creature hunter which he ended being really good at getting him loads of money for it, one day, he was sent out to kill a creature and this ends up being the mission where he finds Medic being attacked by the creature he was send out to find, Sniper dealt with the creature then helped Medic as he was a little injured, the pair then decided to stick together and the rest was history for the pair, when Miss.Pauling approached the pair to see if they wanted to join her team, Sniper happily joins as he hadn't had a job in a while and it made him the sixth member of the team with Medic not far after agreeing to join, Sniper was very good using the bow and arrow but he was also good with big knifes as well as a defence

Spy the Assassin - Spy is a mystery character as there was not much about him other then he was a really good assassin and he was hired a lot by people, he was originally hired by grey to kill Miss.Pauling and her team which he would happily do but when he saw the team and saw that one of the recruits was his son, Scout, he decided to change sides being the eighth member of the team, spy was a really good assassin and he got his job done easily and quickly, he hides knifes in his sleeves and he was also a bit of a lone wolf like Sniper but Sniper was now less of a lone wolf as he had Medic, Spy knew about Scout being his son after his girlfriend and scout mom told him he was pregnant, Spy was also there for most of Scout's life but he kept himself hidden to support Scout from a distance.

Miss.Pauling the Magician - Miss.Pauling is a magician in training that was hired by Lady Adminiatrator to be her right hand apprentice, Lady Adminiatrator thought Miss.Pauling many spells and Miss.Pauling looked up to Lady Adminiatrator as a teacher and somewhat a mother figure, Miss.Pauling grew up looking after herself as her mom was always busy and her dad was most of the time absent as he was busy at work, Miss.Pauling was about to learn this powerful spell and also learn some backstory about Lady Administrator but then Lady Administrator gets kidnapped so Miss.Pauling goes to rescue her after reading a letter from her and Miss.Pauling hopes she doesn't fail her teacher.

TF2 x Hollow Knight

I’ve already determined some of the different species that the mercs would be, and I think that they fit very well. Medic is a mantis, Heavy is a Bee, and Pyro is with the Grimm Troupe. I feel like those are very fitting! But I’ve experienced some trouble with the other mercs. Some of these I’m just on the fence about, but others I have no idea what to do.

I’ve gotten a lot of comments on TikTok to make Scout Hornet, which I might do anyways just for fun, but I’m really trying to aim for a general species instead of a single character. This sort of ties into my Spy dilemma. I want to make him sort of like Nosk, but is Nosk his own species? I think it fits but I’m just not sure. I think I am leaning towards making Scout a spider half breed, like Hornet, mainly just because of his speed and I think that would sort of tie in with Spy being Nosk. (And Scout being Hornet).

As for the others, I’ve been struggling a bit more. I’ve been thinking about generalizing the Australians as Fools in the Colosseum, so Sniper would maybe originate from there but just not be infected, hence his lack in strength and bulk. I’ve also thought about Soldier being from the Colo, but that doesn’t really fit in with anything else, so I don't know what to do with him. I’ve been thinking about making Engineer a grub, which kind of works, but I’ve also thought about making him a miner from the Peaks, which works way better, so I’m stuck between the two. As for Demo, I’m facing the same problem that I have with Soldier. I’ve also thought about making him from Colo, but I don’t really like that idea so I scrapped it early on. I don’t think it fits him.

I sort of wanted everyone to be from all over Hollow Nest, making the possible exception for Scout and Spy, but I don’t know what areas fit with which merc. So far, the areas used have been: The Hive, The Mantis Tribe, Deep Nest, and The Grimm Troupe. I know some of those technically aren’t “areas” but whatever, sue me. I’ve also wanted the mercs to be more eccentric bugs, so perhaps Demo could be that one bug with a nail and shield that’s only found in one hallway (for some reason?). I could possibly use the Traitor Lord’s tribe of Mantis’ for someone, which would fit someone probably.

BAD BATTLE STRATEGIES

scout: scout’s sole job is to pick where the front lines are and to not die as he stalls the trio until reinforcements arrive. then his sole job is get the fuck out of there and undercut the blu team where he can. the team is essentially forming around the fact that he can both make it before the rest of the team and get out of a sticky situation with his body intact. this also gives the rest of the team vital visual information of the enemy team’s whereabouts as he ducks in and out of enemy sightlines, taking shots where he’s able and darting before they can detect their origin. on a good day, he can take out the medic so soldier can come in and take care of the other two. he is a large pain in the ass, and the top of the enemy sniper’s priorities.

soldier: once he gets to the front lines he will not budge unless he is dead. one of the few members of the team who is willing and able to win against the trio due to his massive area damage, and his deadly tendency to market garden. he targets the blu medic first, and can take out the pyro by rocket jumping away just as quickly. that heavy of theirs is a tougher challenge, but if scout can pepper in shots before he runs then it’s easy enough to take him out. this doesn’t work all the time, but when it does the red team can start with a major advantage.

pyro: pyro’s sole job is to spy check. if pyro isn’t spy checking then the spy better be dead and charred, and if the team can’t smell burnt flesh, then pyro should not be in sight. this, however, has pyro running around every map they’re on, making them a roamer of sorts, but they are never in the places they are truly needed in. pyro’s inability to be in the places they’re supposed to be, which seems to be everywhere but where they are, is actively crippling the team to their spy. they need eyes in the sky.

demo: right flank and front line backup. soldier and demo’s advanced movement techniques make them indispensable to the front lines, where the heat of battle is. if demo can hold down one path of entry, it can severely impact how much the blu team can do, as they’re forced to either take another route or risk stepping into a trap. demo has a bad habit of spamming bombs, and gets multiple accidental kills from neglected, then detonated bombs. this makes him a top priority to get him off of the field. especially when he decides he’s done playing with his bombs and opts for his sword. tavish playing knight will immediately shoot him to the top of the hit list; but he’s too fast. they just can’t get to him in time before his blade gets to them.

heavy: it has been… a task for heavy to accept being anywhere but on the front lines with his doctor. in his effort to do something “different”; his aim has become deadly, and his sights are not one the blu team even want to cross anymore. natascha has become his regular gun, and he will find a semi concealed area he can take cover in that directly faces a commonly used pathway and just obliterate the them; before moving elsewhere and catching the blu team off guard again, and moving again before they can register his new location. he has three different locations he can use this strategy on, and his damage output has never taken a hit from this change in strategy. his deaths have even decreased! it puts him in a good mood to have better stats. he knows that this is not a viable plan for long. has become very adept at stalking around corners and moving in silence. likes to clothesline the enemy scout. teleporters are reserved for him alone.

engineer: engie has become a de facto battle leader. this man has become increasingly aggressive on the field as the team has attempted to combat the blu team’s strategy shift. he made earpieces so the team can communicate with each other as the blu team keeps them spread thin. now, the texan can, has, and continues to keep his boot on the blu teams’ necks. every time an enemy dies he is pushing forward. and he’s territorial like a son of a bitch. to destroy his buildings you have to kill him first, and that becomes increasingly hard to do when it’s like he sees you coming from around corners, and moves his sentry to get you before you can get him. has become very adept at teleporter locations. the more movement heavy has the harder they can push.

medic: like pyro, the doctor does not stop moving the second the gates open. but he doesn’t stop moving because the second he does he is marked for death. and it doesn’t seem to take much anymore to kill him. he’s not appreciative of that. it’s made him even more aggressive on the field. the doctor has never been one to run from a fight, and mind you he does still heal… but his saw is gaining him most of his ubers. sporadic in his interactions with the team, and explosive the second he steps on the scene, the man will always take a high road and go toe to toe with the spy before he’ll put himself on the front lines to take on the heavy. he pops ubers like a pez dispenser on a good day, but usually he is the blu team’s next target when the scout has been dropped.

sniper: sniper is so fucking serious about his job now. on a good day, he’s singlehandedly keeping the entire blu team back. foot on the sniper’s neck. on the days he’s not so good, he grabs his huntsman and he and heavy go on what they call “a good hunt”. and if they’re lucky, they can intercept the doctor and move as a unit of their own, usually in silence. these are the days the team does their best. sniper is very easy to keep alive when heavy is a wall, and the doctor is such a high priority target that it’s almost like shooting fish in a barrel. it helps that the doctor is willing to take a few shots and waste their resources so they can take the opportunity as the enemy has to reload. this is especially good for ambushing mass pushes.

spy: when spy is not having to go toe to toe with the scout, who seems to be actively targeting him, he’s also one who is struggling to do his job. he can hardly get to the engineer to sap sentries. so all he can do from there is just kill the blu team. he is cloaked most of the time, and he finds it is usually quite easy to catch the enemy demo off guard, and once he gets one he just gets an itch. he just has to get another. and another. and then the scout is back. he gets increasingly frustrated the more he interacts with the enemy scout. he’s ready for that kid to not come back.
