They know you have to, but they can't stop crying.

Tries to put up a brave front around you, but you can tell they're on the verge of tears.

Even with high confidence, they can't stop you. They can't put their own happiness ahead of everyone at the orphanage.

Spends as much time with you as they can, forsaking their drink stalls and following you wherever you go.

Goes to the wedding. Probably part of the wedding party, if your betrothed allows it.

Will try to keep in touch with you, if they can. They have their "debt" to pay and your spouse might block your communication with Robin.

You love them, or whatever, right? So forget marrying someone else.

They don't care that you're doing it for other people, they couldn't give a shit about the orphanage.

As soon as you return to the orphanage, your fellow orphans look at you with surprise, some happier than others. There were few that expected your return after you’d be gone for so long. But Robin never gave up on you. At least one of the orphans runs off to go looking for them, and soon, they’re barreling down the stairs from their room, nearly breaking their neck in the process. You both fall to the floor after they tackle you in a hug.

They’re definitely crying in front of everyone, but they couldn’t care less. Robin doesn’t ask where you went or what happened, you two can talk about it later and only if you want to, all they can talk about now is how happy they are to see you again. They kept your room clean and made copies of their notes and saved some money and, and- It takes a bit before they let you go. They’re nervous, wanting nothing more than having you come over to their room and hang out like usual. If they aren’t around you, maybe you’ll dissapear again. But you won’t hear them say this. Guilt eats away at them for even having such thoughts, they’re far too selfish. You should do whatever you want to feel better right now. They can’t sleep that night. Waking up tomorrow and realising it was just a dream would be their worst nightmare. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Whitney is stomping over as soon as they see you. You’re getting shoved against the nearest wall, pulled into a kiss that’s more teeth than lips and draws blood. Their hands grope your body, greedy, trying to feel all of you within seconds. They’re scowling when they pull away. One hand is on the wall next to your head, the other bruising your shoulder with its grip. Where the hell have you been? You think they’ll just let you drop off the face of the earth?! (They definitely weren’t almost worried, they definitely weren’t almost missing you. They definitely call you their favourite for no reason.)

But they don’t raise their fist, don’t make a single move, only staring you down after spitting out the words. Once you tell them that Kylar took you, they let out a disbelieving laugh, eyes lingering on the rope marks on your wrist. So the little fucker finally went and snapped, huh? They’re lucky they got locked up before Whitney could get their hands on them. The second time they kiss you is a lot softer. Their tongue laps the blood from your mouth. Don’t think you’re off the hook yet, though. You’ve got lost time to make up for, slut. 

At the Temple, Sydney drops everything they’re doing. Clothes scatter everywhere as they rush up to you, but they ignore any glares from monks or nuns. Where have you been?! They’ve been worried sick! Do you know how much time they spent with Robin looking for you? Before you have the chance the respond, they’re looking you over, fussing over every little mark on your skin. Did you lose weight? You have, haven’t you? You two are going to get something to eat. Right now. Every part of them is shaking. The whole way, they refuse to let go of your hand. They try to hide their tears, believing they should stay strong for you right now. (They don’t look too great themselves either, stifling far more yawns than usual. If you ask them how much they’ve been working, they’ll dodge the question. It’s a great distraction.)

Knowing that the one who hurt you is locked away now grants them some peace of mind. They’re still surprised it was Kylar. Sydney had always been under the impression you two were simply good friends and that they had held no ill will towards you. Even then, in the weeks after, they’ll ask for your help with tasks they would usually do on their own. Have you stay at the library after school, walk you to the temple. They also ask Sirris to see whether you’re acting weird in class or not. 

When you go to visit Kylar in prison, they’re bawling their eyes out. There are bags under their eyes, their hair is somehow messier than usual and a large bruise has blossomed on their cheek. They missed you so, so much. But you visited! Well, of course you did, why wouldn’t you? Even their laugh, in between sobs, shakes. You’re married! You love each other!! It only makes sense you want to see how your spouse is doing! Because of the incident, you’re only allowed to see them with glass between you two, and they press their palm up against it. (Return the gesture, and they’ll start crying even harder. But they’re smiling wider too.) They’re wearing a ring, rubbing the metal as they stare at you. 

Kylar’s so emotional the whole time that holding a conversation is almost impossible. They do tell you how disappointed they are they can’t get any pencils or paper. Without them, they can’t put drawings of you all over their cell… And they warn you, more begging than anything else, to be careful. They’re not there to protect you now. When your time together is up, Kylar has to be yanked from their chair. Even then, they’re struggling the whole way. As long as possible, they’ll hold your gaze. Visit them again, won’t you? ...Please.

So I thought, what if he just kissed you right there? You protected him, probably saved his life from that freak, and now he's feeling all sorts of things that he doesn't understand and all he knows is that he needs to kiss you.

Now, every time whitney has kissed you in the past, it's been rough, a show for his friends, a way to assert his dominance over you.

This time? Oh this time, it's almost sweet. Some might even call it passionate. He holds your face in his hands, cupping your cheek to hold you close, lips gently claiming yours. You melt, hands gripping his wrists, body leaning into his. Anything to be closer, to feel the (love?) this man is giving you. What you've been craving this whole time without ever realizing it. Until this moment.

Then, it all comes crashing back to him. The confusion he feels about you, the stress from the night, the anger at what that man had said, how you whored yourself out just for some sweets.

He loses it. Grips your hair in his hands, uses his body to push your back against a tree, knee pressing in between your legs to your groin. He doesn't want this. He doesn't want you to keep fucking up everything!

He growls, throwing you roughly to the ground behind him. You yelp, body connecting with multiple sticks and rocks. You know there will be bruises tomorrow. When you turn to face him, the look in his eye scares you for the very first time. He looks.... almost murderous. "Whitney? Are you okay? Did I- did I do something wrong?"

There you go again, with your fucking concern and your overwhelming need to please him. His fists clench, his teeth grind together. And there, there it is. For the first time since he's started picking on you, there is fear on your face. Oh, how he revels in it.

A wicked grin splits his face. "What's the matter, slut? Am I being too rough for you?" He steps forward; your breath catches, eyes widen, heart stutters in your chest. Instinctively, you back away from him, wondering what could have turned his mood so sour.

"I- I didn't mean to upset you... I'm sorry, for... Whatever I did..." Tears sting your eyes, burning at your attempt to keep them at bay. He doesn't respond, just keeps walking towards you with a slow gait. Every fiber of your being is telling you to leave, to get out of there right now.

But this is Whitney. This is the boy you know is hurting deep down, who needs someone to take the brunt of the pain he doesn't acknowledge that he feels. You promised yourself long ago that you would be that person. To be there for Whitney in any way that you could.

Your retreat is halted by the bark of another tree, and Whitney takes this advantage. He towers over you now, hatred and something else lurking in those golden eyes. A tremor starts in your lower lip. Whitney reaches down and grips your hair in one hand, pulling you up until you're able to face him while he's leaning down. The tears fall free now, the pain overwhelming, and you uselessly grip at his wrist.

"Oh," he tuts. "Now, now. Where was all of this back at the mansion? Your little boy toy not scary enough for you?" He snarls now, shaking you with the hand still in your hair. You let out a cry, fear like ice in your veins.

"Tell you what, let's play a game. If you win, I'll stop bullying you for, hmm... A week." He grins, only one eye visible beneath his bangs. "If I win, however. Well, lets just say it won't end in your favor. What do you say, deal?"

You gulp, unsure how to respond in this moment. You don't want to play, but with Whitney, you never really have a choice.

As is emphasized by the impatience in his tone as he yells, "Deal?!" in your face. You nod, but it's not enough for Whitney. He yanks harder on your hair.

"Y-yes! Deal! Please just let me go." A sob ripples through your chest. Why hadn't you just run? You should have.

Whitney smirks, releasing his grip and letting you drop unceremoniously to the ground. "Good. We're going to play a little game of cat and mouse. If you can make it to the safety of your bedroom before I catch you, then you win. No harm done."

"However," Whitney continues after a brief pause. "If I catch you before then? I promise you it won't be pretty. Let that be a little incentive to run as fast as you can, pet."

What would it take for (F!)Yandere!Avery to snap and kidnap the F!PC? I think it'd have to be something to make her realize how attached she is to the PC, and want to keep her all to herself, so probably something to really make her jealous. Maybe she notices that the PC's friend is getting a bit too close to the PC, cutting down on the time Avery and the PC spend together. Or maybe the PC gets kidnapped by Eden but manages to escape, and Avery is now convinced the PC shouldn't leave her side.

A lot of little things piling up at once. You turned her down for a date and she noticed her night didn't go over as well, that whole night felt off without you by her side. You opted to walk with Robin to school insted of climbing into her car. You ducked into the park to hang out with Kylar insted of letting her drive you home.

It just keeps building, tiny refusals, choseing others over her.

And then she has you again. You're sitting in her car, right where you should be. Smiling, laughing, hanging off Avery's every word. She has one hand on the wheel, the other sliding further and further up your thigh, when she mentions taking you out on a date soon.

It starts with the realisation that life down here is the best you've ever had it in ages. There's nothing to worry about. You don't have to lay awake at night worrying about how you'll pay off your ever increasing debt, don't have to juggle your schoolwork with gruelling work hours, don't have to clutch the bottle of pepper spray in your pocket as your only source of comfort as you walk down the streets. (Don't have to put up with groped or worse at any hour around town, sometimes not even by humans.)

You can just sit and relax here. Kylar takes care of everything for you. Kylar doesn't want you to lose your mind from boredom when you aren't around. They have calmed down after their hysterical outburst. Having you isolated and all to themselves grounds them like nothing else ever could. There's no reason for them to be jealous anymore. Because of this, they become less forceful with their affections as time passes.

Still, they are delighted when you warm up to them. You call them your spouse and never remove your wedding ring, snuggle up to them when they hold you during the night, kiss them back, tell them you love them... To Kylar, you have become impossibly more perfect than you already were. After seeing the most extreme parts of their love for you, they still hold a place in your heart. It's complete acceptance.
