I like to imagine that as they get older, Eric and Kyle both mellow out a bit.

Eric’s teasing loses its bitterness and becomes more playful. Kyle stays assertive, but over time he starts to recognize that Eric’s antics are more about getting his attention than trying to hurt him.

For a long time, Kyle insists that Eric hasn’t changed at all, always expecting the worst from him, despite Stan pointing out that maybe Eric has changed, and suggesting Kyle should give him another chance.

“I’ve given him so many chances. Every time, he screws it up.”

But eventually, Kyle starts to wonder if he’s being a little unfair. Maybe he’s been so focused on who Eric used to be that he hasn’t really noticed who Eric’s trying to become. Eric still messes up (a lot), but things slowly shift between them. They grow closer. Their relationship becomes something softer, more honest. And maybe somewhere around this time Kyle realizes he’s starting to have feelings for Eric, which obviously causes him to panic.

i hate it when people over-sexualise characters to the point all they do is write about how they fuck — you, themselves, or each other.

no, simon wouldn’t fuck you silly and break your spine.

no, gaz wouldn’t fuck you in the middle of a mission.

no, soap wouldn’t fuck you day and night. he has self control.

no, price wouldn’t share you with his teammates.

they would rather shoot themselves than hurt their partners.

sure, write about sex and smut and write your fics, but don’t pretend they’re all some sex freaks who fuck all the time. there’s more to them than their bodies and their reproductive organs.

i dont give a fuck, if you leave him out of a 141 post, i WILL think you're racist. i literally wrote an entire character analysis on this man. he is NOT the boring guy you think he is.

half of the reasons i see for leaving him out make absolutely zero sense. ive been in the call of duty fandom so so so so long. I've been in the fandom since i was a little child. this is a long running issue with leaving characters of color out. if you need help writing him, literally hit me up. i am willing to help people develop a style for him.
