had a thought the other day at work about making a post on tumblr dot com. and its a version of do you love the color of the sky except it is do you love the color of the piss. and id make a really long image instead of it being a sky gradient it would be a gradient of all the piss colors ive encountered at work. this was prompted by a sample that was actually a really nice color of orange because of a certain drug that also makes it turn a fun color if you preform an ictotest. anyways

losing my mind at this assay today.. it's always worked beautifully perfectly for me before but I keep getting values +60% out. EXTREMELY consistently. and I remade both buffers from scratch which took me an hour and STILL got the exact same results.... tf is going on!!!

I’m seething because I have to run 20% polyacrylamide gels to separate very small fragments of DNA and you have to pour them at the fucking speed of light (because the higher the polyacrylamide percentage the faster it polymerizes and 20% is VERY high. It’s like the highest percentage I’ve ever seen used) and today I was pouring one and it polymerized in the fucking falcon tube AS I was pouring it, forming a shitty little stalactite causing me to run out of gel solution before filling the whole rig so now I have to make a tiny bit more solution and recast the top 2-3cm or so of the gel. We are NOT the same
