They're only upset that we figured out how to turn a two stage rocket system into a scoped automatic rifle.
I will give the foundries compliments for finally producing a frame that is as horrifying as the frames of Harrison.
/Suzerain Arvantiel Sarthis of the House of Promise\
There are few things that are as funny as watching HA mech developers rant about the Tagetes frame in public interviews.

Another Lancer RPG commission for the Hardvac Blues supplement, the RKF Dionaea. A variant frame of the IPS-N Zheng, designed for gladiator combat in the Baronies.

What's your favorite Lancer mech
(You can answer multiple times if you have favorite ones for different reasons/in different categories! I encourage it!)
The RKF Calendula has to be my favourite; a literal hack and slash control/striker mech with an emphasis on isolating your enemies and sending them to the shadow realm with the help of a signature melee? Absolutely nailed its design, plus its efficient core power lets you double-team an enemy with another ally. Its flexibility, its power, its potential; I love it!

Do you think we will get some OC official mechs from KTB I love the ascetic?
I think it would be mechanically awkward to have RKF mechs as full licenses now, given that you have RKF mechs that are variant frames for existing SSC or HORUS mechs. You'd need to build a whole new RKF manufacturer with its own core bonuses, and having the old variant frames there is kinda weird - do they get SSC/HORUS core bonuses, or the new RKF ones? How would that work with the way comp/con and Lancer Foundry VTT are coded?
From a more fundamental standpoint, the four major manufacturers are laid out so that each one encompasses one of the HASE stats. IPS-N is Hull, SSC is Agility, HORUS is Systems and HA is Engineering. There isn't a fifth HASE for RKF to occupy.

Big flat-color piece of an entire Lancer RPG party, commissioned as a christmas gift for the commissioner's group!
From left to right: an SSC Metalmark, HORUS Balor, RKF Orchis, HA Genghis (with a particularly unusual form factor), and HA Sunzi.
Close-ups of each mech under the cut:

The Calendula was originated as a frame designed for the protection and use of the Order Xenogloss.
Calendula is remembered as a scholar and a diplomat, above all else, especially in contrast to her brother Tagetes. On the field, the Calendula prioritizes nonlethal interdiction and control over damage. The name is both in service to who is meant to use it (and why) and how it accomplishes this task.
//KINGFISHER
Wait I thought Calendula was the peaceful monarch
Why'd the baronies name a giant killing machine after the peaceful monarch
#lancer rp#nera is a bit of a simp for calendula (the person)#and calendula (the mech)#both because one can claim the calendula is the first mech#(the bit abt it possibly predating union contact)#and bc she's still the daughter of a rkf engineer even if like#she pretends thats not the case

Ah, it can be a foundry of the House of Glass and not serve her Banner Company, my friend. We are well renowned for our foundries and shipyards, of course, and the Marigold Seal is a premier mark of quality across the Orion Arm. You may see the ire of the RKF, or the overseer of the site, or even the one who commissioned that Calendula (although if it is the Stygios Grammaton you might have actually chosen a more formidable enemy; les Fulgurites, at the very least, lacks their precognition) but it is unlikely you will see ours.
I'm relieved, to be honest. You seem fun, and I was not looking forward to having to do this kind of work on my time off.
Dearest and most noble banner company of Ispahsalar, les Fulgurites - this is a formal calling card informing you of the stealing of information from your data banks, as well as some physical items as well. Your walls are strong and your security stronger, but no kingdom can protect itself from my wiles for long. I shall allow you a few days to scatter and prepare for your inevitable loss as a show of good faith. Put up a better fight than my last target, won't you?
With the Harlequin guiding my hand,
Santalaceae

I now have permission to reveal, this was actually an RKF Taraxacum from the Shadow of the Wolf closed playtest! SotW is the latest-announced official Lancer supplement, being produced by Kat Stark, an excellent author you may know from her 3rd-party supplement "Legionnaire".
Three alternate frames from the book - the Taraxacum (lancaster), the Tagetes (Sherman), and the Hekatoncheires (Balor) are available for public playtesting and feedback right now. You can get the frames and post your feedback on the official Lancer discord server, Pilot NET.
Bad Moon Rising, an IPS-N Lancaster. Made with the wonderful sprites of Retrograde Minis.

i'm not saying that Tagetes licensing at the RKF only managed to fully roll out after someone dropped classified info on the Sherman on Lancer War Thunder forums, but i'm also not not saying that
you know they won't tell you this but the KTB is absolutely secretly the sponsor of whatever the Lancer version of War Thunder is just in hopes that some Harrison Legionnaire leaks frame specs to win an online argument

Okay to expand on this a little, when I make a Lancer build, I want it to be something that I could use in a game if I played Lancer in the future. Not a build I necessarily would run - a lot of the builds I make in reply to Asks aren't things I feel an intense urge to hop into - but could run if it came up.
I realise it's generally down to GM discretion if content from certain official supplements gets used, but I've never actually met a GM who didn't allow use of content from all currently-released supplements. Asking GMs to use homebrew seems like another step beyond that, though.
In addition, I kind of like the 4-in-4 symmetry that Lancer has with its attributes and its manufacturers. Adding new manufacturers (RKF doesn't count, they're a special case) breaks that symmetry for me, and my brain dislikes it.
What’s your favorite build you’ve made *that includes Homebrew/3rd party material?*
I don't have one.
