The Fate franchise is an anime franchise that spans multiple series (and crappy RPGs) the Fate universe is basically about a sub-species of human called “mages” who live side by side with humanity trying to keep the dangers of the supernatural out of humanity’s eyes while also trying to further they’re various goals

In the fate universe there is a special artifact that summons itself called the “holy grail” which is a self-occurring phenomenon that been happening since ancient times and once possessed by someone it can grant any wish the wielder/winner can imagine but only 1 wish. From granting immortality to godhood the “holy grail” can make it happen

And so mage kind created a system in order for the use of the “holy grail” called the “holy grail war” where 7 mages who are usually willing to participate would summon a “heroic spirit” to help them win the grail by either killing the enemy heroic spirit which would disqualify the mage or the mage who summoned them making the heroic spirit vanish. Such heroic spirits have varied from Gilgamesh to Richard lionheart 1.

And there 7 classes, ruler, caster, berserker, rider, saber, lancer, assassin, archer. Depending on who the mage summons along with what class the heroic spirit gets when summoned a summoner can easily glide threw the war or have to strategically plan.

There are a few fate series that are pretty good but fate has had a small problem feminizing characters and making itself a joke when it came to the RPGs of it even to the point where the company responsible for fate wasted money on making singular fate episodes just to sell the terrible RPGs.

That was until they’re latest project called “Fate: Strange Fake” even though it only has one existing episode to act as a sampler of what is to come, the Fate franchise has hired the animators responsible for season 2 of Jujustu kaisen and also has introduced fresh idea’s and concepts to properly revitalize Fate and once finish will have made up for the past mistakes they’ve been making.

oh this sounds really interesting for sure! especially if they’ve got those animators on board, I’m sure the revitalisation will be amazing. I’ll definitely check it out soon and get extra familiar with it all.

Sherlock Holmes Tries To Solve The Case Of "Fate/Grand Order" Gacha In Latest Event Summoning

In Japan, the Fate/Grand Order smartphone RPG is in Epic of Remnant, a 1.5 bridge to part two of its story, which started in February Sub-Singularity I: Isolated Lair of Evil - Shinjuku Paranormal Incident. That introduced Professor Moriarty as the Archer of Shinjuku. Now, it's Sherlock Holmes' turn to join the Grail battle. He's arriving as a 5★ Ruler with the Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2017 ～2nd Anniversary～ event.

    Yamanaka Kotetsu (aka Cotetsu - previously the illustrator of Goetia and Tiamat) designs the character, who is voiced by Mizushima Takahiro (already the voice of Gawain).
