A little update!

I finished 2010, @tobethemselves is helping me encode 2011 (and @delicateperspective as of earlier well), and I'm currently working on 2012. The early days were so packed, and the timeline references were incredibly thorough back then. It’s taking longer because I'm trying to gather all the photos, gifs, and videos I can find—literally scouring every corner of the internet—to back up each listed moment. I’m also using the Wayback Machine to retrieve old articles that have been deleted (Sugarscape links are GOLD).

Anyway, it's a LOT lol It's gonna take a while, but all good things take time. 🥹

I don’t want to obligate anyone, of course, but some people have reached out as well. So if anyone else wants to help with encoding the timeline (it’s the longest process, especially with the tweets and Instagram posts included, on top of other events—and yes, I’ll still double-check everything and find the files myself because I like to torture myself like that lol), feel free to DM me! ♡

SLAY TINNAAAA bcos this is it. babygate ruined everything. another anon asked me the other day about zarries and going back in my memory it’s so fucking clear that after zayn left any sense of unity was never gonna happen again. everyone held on for dear life but this community died in 2015 and tumblr is doing everything it can to keep it together but i have my suspicions it was perfectly executed by management. babygate is an insidious stunt, not new to hollywood but they devised a plan to punish louis and won.

one thing i will never be gaslit into misremembering is babygate like i experienced that shit with my own eyes and the trauma is still there and yes it’s that deep cos i was only 15 and saw all my friends fighting each other on the tl and saying the most horrific shit about each other instead of just accepting the awful reality.

i feel that the disconnect also stems from the fact more veterans are on tumblr than on twitter and a lot of people are unwilling to read stuff and easily influenced by big accounts with agendas. in 2015 twitter larries stalked tumblr all the time even when we didn’t have accounts ourselves bcos it was IMPERATIVE to stay informed and know what was going on with louis.

i think a lot of the newer larries on twitter are severely misinformed and i feel returning larries are here bcos it’s much more level-headed and easy to access info. but if tumblr shuts down i’m not going back to twitter like i’ll just not be on social media like i was before, and imo the fandom will well and truly be dead without tumblr to the roar of antis everywhere bcos twitter larries will not keep the lights on in this fandom and i mean we’ve said that’s always been the goal. to get rid of those who remember so that there’s nothing left.

For the 15 year olds it’s a right of passage to get overly invested in some fake gay people and make a masterdoc about it. You come out of that experience a more mature human being and it is no sin to go but wjat if …. Just this once…… something different happen. However if youre 20 you should know better. Your teeth should already be cut and everything posted reads like that Larry shipper confidently saying “I don’t believe I’m reading secret messages I’m just believing the facts anyone can tell from this photo of a teddy bear on a toilet that they’re together”. I’m actually not sure of the byler truther demographics I just assume it skews pretty young in part because it’s got the bones of Baby’s First Ship and partly because I assume the teenagers run old people out of town for being weird about high schoolers.

2025 LARRY ANNUAL TIMELINE

Reposting on a separate post for this for archiving purposes.

I finished the 2025 Annual Timeline over the weekend so I can start dumping real-time stuff there as it happens, while also working on the older timelines. I’ve made the page live, so everyone should be able to access it now!

I’ve officially lost my trust in Tümblr, so I’m definitely not posting timelines here unless absolutely necessary. I’ll be backing up all future masterposts on Notion too (lol lesson learned).

Extra note: Stunt mentions are included, though I’ve left out some parts that aren’t necessarily super essential to the annual timeline. Those will still appear in the stunt timelines under a separate section on the Larry Guide page.

Advocating 100000% percent for you to make a monthly timeline. Cosmicleeds is great for the new kids but sooooo many severe things were left out for simplicity and coherence and so many sources get lost due to blogs deleting or people privating their videos. I think you should definitely have it on some kind of doc so it will be kept safe in the event you get fed up and delete your blog as well (or it gets terminated again) whatever the case I’m rooting for you! If anyone can do it it’s you!

I agree! I'm using Google Sheets for this masterdoc + GDrive for backing up the tweets/photos/videos (depending on what my gdrive capacity will allow me because I do in fact pay extra for the 1D/larry archive lol). I think it's the best way for me to maintain it because of Tumblr's post limitations [reblogs are fixed - so you can't revise stuff; post length limits] and like you said, if my blog gets terminated again (@fookinhellcurlyy got reinstated today tho lol).

And I think there might've been some recently debunked stuff that were included in the cosmicleeds vids too (I remember something about tweets) so it's good to have something I can easily update/revise. I'll try to back-up on GDrive the videos with outsourced links as well, but there's like 20GB left of my current plan right now lol I wish iCloud has a way of sharing files without your name in full display 😭

I'll give more updates once I've finished a significant chunk of the masterdoc! 😂 If I start losing hair, you know why.

Here's a quick view of how the Annual Timeline would look like:

The Links column has the actual links accessible online. The File Back-up has the Google Drive links (screenshots, collection of photos, videos, gifs, PDFs of articles, etc).

Same applies to other online-based content that would need back-ups. Those that are under the various subtopics within the Research Section (aka the "Larry Guide"), including important analyses and masterposts, would be backed up via a dedicated Notion Page!

what does the encoding job entail??

Hi, Anon! So basically, aligning the daily events! There are some resources out there that have detailed day-to-day events such as BPL's 2011-2012 timelines, but from there forward, the other timelines are either not as elaborate or not as easily available.

What I need is:

For the basic events and key details to be sorted into the Google sheet I made. You can use multiple resources for this (though I normally provide a list), and use Google to check if they had any activities/news/events that day.

Put some of the resources under the links column (photos, videos, gifs and whatnot that are easily available). Whichever photo/video you can find based on the resources you're using, or if you googled a date online!

I don't ask anyone to do any deep diving for this, nor do the breakdowns I'm doing because I will elaborate the entries later on. What I mean by this is that sometimes, if a video has soooo many larry moments, I break them down per timestamp! But that'd be my job! Also, I search every video or photos related to an event, so that's also gonna be my part—but of course, to do so, I at least have to know the date and the event details.

Example: You can put "3/17/2012 — 1D Walmart Signing in Somerdale, NJ" and maybe a photo reference. I will do the rest in getting all the photos related to that day, as well as some relevant clips!

I think main thing right now is to move forward with the easy part, which is just data encoding the events basically (I just need a rough skeleton of what was happening that day and I will elaborate the rest), and not miss and activity both of 1D and Larry. I more people are aligning the events, I can focus on the deeper research part and backing up the files on GDrive!

Hey, I love that you're building a full archive for us, it's SO much work and my thoughts go out to your sleep quality because quantity seems like it could be a stretch. I've wanted to do this so much but I know myself lol, it would end up so abandoned. Anyway, I might not have the spoons to commit to anything but I'll happily spend way too many hours tracking one thing down and I don't think I'm the only one. So I hope you'll let everyone know if you really hit a wall somewhere?

Thank you so much for the offer! I'll definitely ask for help if I need it! And I will give progress updates from to time here as well! What really helps right now is that several people are assisting with event encoding and aligning the timeline. I think what makes the process longer for me is that when I enter something, I simultaneously track all related photos, videos, gifs, and articles—then download, upload (back-up), and link them to the Notion site I'm building. But with others encoding things that can just be copy-pasted (like tweets and articles), I can focus on my own section and then go back later to check theirs + do a more extensive search for related files!

I'd say I'm still pretty quick, all things considered, but I'm very thorough, and my brain would NAG me if I skipped anything important (unless I’m exhausted that day lol). When the timeline eventually goes live, if certain files resurface, I’d definitely love to get submissions and add those in too!

I really appreciate the encouragements ;_; ♡ I got back into the fandom in October—not under the best circumstances, but I’m so glad I did anyway. cosmicleeds is a resource but i don’t think they should be treated as thee resource like they have been.

many of the new fans don’t venture beyond their videos which isn’t cosmic’s fault however they do have a lot of things that were debunked still included in their videos and i personally messaged them about it with no response. for someone whose been around since 2011 i’m surprised at some of the things they did include and what they didn’t include that’s extremely important.

they also used some questionable references to explain the difference between louis’ denials vs the denials of others which is extremely subjective to begin with as straight is the go to belief which is the systemic issue. we have no idea who’s telling the truth and daniel radcliffe (who has long been rumored to be closeted and also had a similar experience with outrageous fame at a young age, and lauren jauregui who ofc would deny any relation to camilla cabello after camilla was exposed for her racism) were not the best examples.

i think your master doc will be incredibly needed and i’m praying it gets shared across all platforms.

I get that and I agree! I've commented on some of the videos, afaik, about some debunked stuff. I think one of them was about the tweets where Robin (?) supposedly only wished Louis a happy birthday but not the other boys (which is false because he did greet the others if you search their names on his account). I might be mixing up parents and names, but that’s the idea lol

That's probably why I care for TikTok. The reach and engagement there are CRAZY HIGH, but unfortunately, that also means misinformation spreads easily. A lot of people are visual learners, which makes cosmicleed's videos really helpful (at least as a starting point). So I'd rather people begin larrying using those videos AND THEN dive into deeper research rather than relying on TikTok edits and clips with no context. :(

Like you, I lean toward logic and fact-based information, which is why I decided to work on this masterdoc. I love reading analyses and theories, especially those that are well-researched and backed up.

With the masterdoc, I want to lay down events as they unfolded and provide more context to the clipped moments people see in edits. HOPEFULLY, the right audience finds it when it's ready.

cosmic is necessary as are all larries who make the effort to keep the truth alive. we don’t always get everything right which is why it is imperative to keep each other up to date and listen to each other when things are debunked and fix it. to be kind to cosmic because that’s what this fandom is about i think they faced the hard task of dumbing down their videos in order for the information to be easier to consume because sadly not every is on a similar level of learning intelligence like you said many are visual learners instead of readers and the problem i think cosmic and many face is larry isn’t easy information to learn.

it is a long, dark, and quite frankly terrifying truth. what happened to them is a cautionary tale and the context is so fucking vital. i personally feel cosmic should’ve used more parallels of their pre-closeting & post-glistening and more concert content where a lot of the evidence is irrefutable. they also heavily glossed over babygate even though the video was 40 mins (good lord it should’ve been 45 hours i commend them for the attempt.) babygate is the CORE stunt that blew this fandom to smithereens. when i was around my corner of fandom fought valiantly but i could see the cracks even then which is why i left not long afterwards. i don’t think as many of the news larries would believe freddie is real if so much of the first hand accounts weren’t deleted. and that imo is the goal of the prolonged stunting. they want us fed up. they want us tired & to take the history with us

i’m gonna be honest when i say i’m scared for the future of this community if larries with sense become the minority. it’s certainly heading that way.

I think that's also what's pushing me to create a masterdoc with a clear timeline of what was happening at the time, along with beginner-friendly resources and more advanced, in-depth research files that Larries can use whenever they need.

The thing about Larry information is that there's so much of it that it can feel intimidating to approach, especially when it’s embedded with personal opinions and interpretations. That makes it hard to view things in your own way. Having a separate timeline of events—even things like the creation of the tattoos, the appearance of the rings, etc.—with just context and minimal personal theories would be really beneficial. Then, a separate compilation of theories and analyses could be helpful for those who need a little more guidance in deciphering what was happening.

I really am trying to stay hopeful and not let pessimism creep in. I've noticed that while there’s been an influx of new Larries, many of them aren't as well-informed yet. But that’s exactly why I'm making this masterdoc! I also think having a kind and welcoming community—whether on Tumblr or anywhere else—is important so that newer fans don’t feel intimidated to ask questions and can feel safe staying here.

I’m not even hiding it—I’ve blocked a lot of antis, but I’ve also muted a bunch of Larries. So some of the tea doesn’t even reach me unless someone brings it up lol.

A lot of the words being thrown around aren’t even 100% accurate, which just hurts Larries’ credibility even more. But people keep fueling the fire (at least until yesterday).

Even I’m not well-versed in most of these technical details, so I’d rather let those who can provide unbiased input explain things first—then I can form my own opinion.

I know you're hard at work on the masterdoc but I was wondering if you would ever consider posting to TikTok. There's just a lot of "Larry" videos with debunked material and I think it would be nice to have an accurate source instead of people spreading misinformation. There's a good amount of Larries on TT too.

Hey, Anon! I actually don't use TikTok much, but I see your point. The TT algorithm is pretty crazy, and content spreads so fast, so the notorious amount of misinformation is definitely worrying.

At some point, I was actually considering it, though I want to focus on finishing the project itself first. Also, I'd have to figure out how to share information in the most effective way possible—where people would actually listen, read, and engage. And tbh, editing videos takes a lot of time (unless I just opt for screenshots).

I've tried sharing stuff on X as well, but once your content reaches the wrong audience (even if it’s not intended for them), you can't really stop the vile comments, which I hate. That’s why I love Tumblr and why I’m opting to save stuff on Notion. I love how organized it looks and how easily you can curate what you want to see. Having a larger reach on TikTok also means being more susceptible to a larger group of antis, so I’d definitely need to be mentally prepared for that lol
