Pride Ponies!! Day 3 and 4! Bi and Pan Ponies!!!

Hello! It's me again with the Pride Ponies! Today we have the Bi and Pan Ponies!

It was a bit harder to design these two than the gay and lesbian ponies because the Bi and Pan flags only have 3 colors :,) (i have a lil rule that i may only use the flag's colors when coloring the ponies! This excludes accessories but if i can help it i'll try to not use other colors!)but i managed!

Also i wanted these two to be ambiguous in gender! Female? Male? I don't know :).

In case anyone doesn't know, Bissexual means the person can be attracted to two or more genders!

Pansexual means the person can be attracted to any and all genders!

Day 12.

What a stupid waste of a day. I woke up noon-ish and a couple of hours later I went to a print shop cos I needed to print a letter to a practice I used to work at, to request that they pay me what they owe me. Then I went to the post office to actually mail the letter. I HAD been planning on going to boots on my way back to get a couple of things… but I forgot. I remembered once I had already arrived home, and the timing was terrible cos if I turned back around then, I would hit school traffic and after that rush hour traffic. So I decided to get the train into town and go to boots and get my things there. Except the walk to the train station is about 25 minutes long (there’s another stop on the same line which is just under 20 minutes, but for some reason I thought they were equidistant from my flat. I realised now that they aren’t), then I waited around 20 minutes for the train to actually come. Then once I arrived in town I walked to boots… all that only to find that it didn’t have the items I needed!! All of that for what. I was fuming. And by now I was super hungry so I went to chilli flames to get loaded fries, completely ruining my diet 🙄 I then made my way back home. By the time I got home it was like 7pm. Hours wasted. I was so annoyed. But on the plus side I got around 13k steps. I had planned on doing a little run on my treadmill but obviously that didn’t end up happening, I didn’t have the energy.

Once again I left it til really late to start drawing, around 11.30pm. And I spent about 1 hour 10 minutes on these. I first followed lazy art’s tutorial, the one I mentioned yesterday where he talks about drawing different features of the face from the front view. He covers the eyes, nose, ears, lips; but as you can see I only did the nose. I skipped the eyes cos I had already done that. And the first nose drawing I wasn’t happy with cos it was too small, I thought it didn’t give me the chance to draw as much details as I would like, so I decided to draw it again but bigger. Except it really isn’t very much bigger 😂 I didn’t like the way lazy art covered drawing the features in this particular video, because he kept saying “this is how I draw quickly, it’s all about doing quick sketches” which obviously is not what I want here. And he also didn’t explain the process well, I was just copying exactly what he was doing. And even though the noses imo look pretty damn good, I didn’t feel like I understood the process much better at the end of it.

So instead of going on to the other facial features, I decided to focus a bit more on the nose. I found a tutorial by Jessica hopper and what I liked is that she explained the process quite well and made it extremely simple. Although her method seems to be rather different than lazyart’s - lazyart draws 3 equally sized circles next to each other, touching each other but not overlapping, as his base for the nose. Jessica hopper draws a large central circle and 2 smaller circles overlapping the central circle. I don’t know how much difference this makes in the end product… although, well, my drawings look drastically different so maybe it does make a big difference. If I’m being honest I really like how all these noses came out, but I think I preferred the process with Jessica hopper’s tutorial. I think I am going to look at more of her tutorials in the future. I realise I’ve been jumping between various YouTube channels but imo it’s all about finding the teacher that you best gel with.

So yeah. Tomorrow I will look up Jessica hopper’s tutorials on other facial features. Maybe lips tomorrow. I hadn’t been planning on approaching drawing the face like this - one feature at a time - but I’ll be honest, it’s making sense to me….

Still no progress on drawabox. I don’t have any plans at all tomorrow so I’m really going to try and lock in tomorrow and spend time on it.

Hello! I am doing a little challenge for myself where i choose one sexuality or gender to create a pony with! As a little challenge for myself :). It will be 1 pony/sexuality per day! (I am a lil late :P). I will also try to diversify in which of my artstyles i make them on!

Day 1 & 2 - Gay and Lesbian!

For the first 2 days i made ponies inspired on the Gay and Lesbian Flags! I also want to warn yall that i do have a few headcanons regarding ponies so one or two details may look a little off. Hope yall don't mind that!

I have no names or a detailed biography about each pony i will create, the only bits of lore about them are what you catch on their designs!

Lucy is a college student who is always judged by others because of her intimidating looks, especially since she's a sorority girl. Constantly labelled as cunniving and manipulative because of her great deceitful because of her ways. But contrary to how people perceive her, she actually cares a lot about those she holds close to her. Always prioritizing them over her own needs, to the point her kindness seems questionable. Lucy dreams of the day where she raises her own family and becomes a mother herself, after looking up to her own when she was younger. However, will her meeting of the new pledges change her perception the dream she wants to pursue?
