the rosary in michif
So the way I rewrote this is how to pronounce it with symbols that make sense to me. I also changed the english versions so you know how these things are pronounced.
ɑ = anywhere between father & mop
a = the a in the french la, or anywhere between the a in above & father, (not in between like the way the o in above is in between u from rut & o from mop), except the a in above is more like the u in bun or the e in the, but in the english I started using u to symbolize the u in crutch/a in above/o in above (even tho it is more like the o in mop or the o in more without the w at the end)/e in the
é = the e in met or pen
æ = late, bait, may eidelweiss
i = if, bit, some ppl even use this i in both halves of spirit (if they don't say spyyrit), & sometimes that sound that is like "eu" crossed with "uh" crossed with "o'" crossed with "a" crossed with "e" & you just can't exactly tell what it is
í = eat, feeble, meme
o = anywhere between boat & the first two "ho"s of ho ho ho, it can be the o,w of words like hope, or it can be just the o' like if someone interrupted you before you finished saying "go". It's almost like how er starts with eu & ends with r, this starts with o' & ends with w,
oo = on in french, between boat & boot, it's like the "o" from above was a little more short/fat in your mouth so it is slightly more like a "w" but not quite, & then you do end it with that diphthong w. Like if you end the french garcon with a w as well as an n.
ʊ = oo, like shoe which can be eu'w, or it can be just the w (which is a vowel, the welsh are right), who, the first part of when, or when you say a really elongated "ooh" not just an euw but an euwwwww!, the end of "oh!"
eu = book, look, cook, hurt, the french feu, birch, earl, like take your tongue down from the back there & stop saying the r, it's like how we say "uh" in north america but they spell it "er" in england, they don't mean ir/eur, they mean euh. Like heard in a british accent
ä = a like cat. It was originally written as ae, but ae to me means éy (or ah-y), while in michif according to my legend it is supposed to mean a like ban. I actually do get it being spelled ae, but I used to spell it aa & have taco be spelled ah & lot be spelled aw (cahmmin vs cawmmun being two ways to say common). Anyway this is the a like fabulous or the way your white (not european) grandmother says pasta.
š = technically sh, but I actually often pronounce this as an s. Many cree speakers, especially as they get older, say things with a bit of a lisp, making the s turn into sh, & we have taken that into michif. In fact, the word michif comes from the lisping of the t in metis into ts, & the all-too-common lisping of ts into ch. You can say as s or as sh & it is fine
č = ch, in michif we usually say it more like ch, the "tsh" sound, but in cree it is more like ts, sort of like the japanese tsu. You know how ts is at the very front of your mouth but ch is a little farther back & a little more on the edges? Go halfway in between. Keep a little more contact with either side of the front of your tongue, & say it. Mix ts & ch to get smth halfway between. It's almost like chs in the way it sounds, but more like tch in the way it feels. Evn throw in a bit of soft "th" in there if you need.
I don't think I have ñ, but it is like a "ng" that doesn't quite make contact. It's the french n
r = Two options here. Option 1: earl but hover before you close your teeth on the r. Feel how far back that is in your mouth? Push it a little farther back, push that r a little further in general. Instead of that r being stupidly in your teeth (that's the reason kids way w instead), keep it closer to your throat, more in your soft palate, not where the bone starts. Option 2: khrkhrkhrkhrkhr almost like that arabic crackly h, & it can be voiced or unvoiced. It's a trilled g. Not a trilled d like in spanish though. Make the sound like the dentist's vacuum. It's a fricative.
ž = j, like how ch is just tsh, j is just dj, like how s becomes sh, z becomes zh. It is j without the starting d.
Some of the Gs can also be Ks occasionally, along with many other consonants. t/d, p/b, etc.
In fact, k/p/t are often pronounced softer, less aspirated.
hk can be either h,k or it can be the semitic/celtic ch like in bach or loch. hp can be like the filipino f that they make bilabial instead of labiodental.
I think that's everything. It is a lot more simple than writing it out seems.
Oh & in english I used eth & thorn, eth being bath/thank & thorn being bathe/that

missing in the translation so idk if it is correct: thine eyes of mercy toward us & after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy woumb, o clement o loving o sweet virgin mary pray for us oh holy mother of got that we may be made worthy of the promises of christ let us pray grant we bessech you that by meditating on the holy mysteries of the most holy rosary of the blessed virgin mary we may both imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise through the same christ our lord amen. It's missing it after it says "pray for us most gracious advocate & help us to know your son jesus" which is skipping the "turn" your eyes & the exile part. It is also missing toe rosary closing which is not technically part of the prayer but I associate it with the salve regina bc that's when I usually say it.

Comment réciter le chapelet ? How to pray the rosary in English and French
(img source)
I love the rosary.
It’s a beautiful form of meditation through repetition and intention.
I’ve had some very powerful feelings of peace, joy, and strangely, self acceptance, during my several attempts at praying it. I recommend it to anyone. You don’t even have to be Catholic.
As I’m trying to practice French in some form each day, I thought memorizing the more common prayers of the rosary in the language of a country that is historically heavily Catholic would be lovely, especially since my time in France played a role in my own initial interest in Catholicism.
Rosary Basics
If you are new to the rosary, here’s a quick rundown on how it works:
The rosary is composed of a cross or crucifix and a series of beads, each of which represents a prayer.
It helps to hold each bead as you move through the rosary. This allows you to keep track of where you are without counting, so you can focus on meditation.
That part dangling down to the cross? That’s where you’ll begin. You work your way up from the cross, then around the neck. You can move either clockwise or counter clockwise, it doesn’t really matter.
When you get to the main loop, there are five sets of beads, organized into what are called “decades.” For each decade first you’ll set your intention, which is to meditate on one of the Mysteries of the life of Christ (more on that later.) You can also additionally set your own intention here and add your own prayer.
Say the Rosary / Réciter le chapelet
Here’s how to work your way through the rosary and the corresponding prayers:
1. Make the sign of the cross. Faire un signe de croix.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Say the Apostle’s Creed. Réciter du symbol des apôtres:
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day he arose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven; sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Amen.
2. Our Father / Un Notre Père
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Amen.
3. Say 3 Hail Marys, one for each bead.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Amen
4. Conclude with Glory Be and Oh My Jesus. Each decade also closes with these prayers.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Amen
O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.
5. (& 9, 10, 11 12) Now, the meditation on the mysteries begin. Puis la méditation des mystères commence.
For each decade, begin by announcing the Mystery (they’re listed below,) then say the Our Father (see Nº 2.)
6. Recite 10 Hail Marys (see Nº 3), following the beads.
7 & 8. Conclude each decade with Glory Be and Oh My Jesus before moving on to the next decade.
13. After all the decades are complete, finish the sequence with a Hail Holy Queen, followed by a final prayer or the sign of the cross.
Hail Holy Queen:
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.
Amen.
Final Prayer:
Let us pray. O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Amen.
The Mysteries
For each decade, you’ll reflect on 1 of 5 certain events of Jesus’ life, depending on the day of the week. I usually like to pull up a classic painting of the event before I announce it, and look at it while I recite the Hail Marys.

Quote
In a cupboard, under lock and key, she kept a mysterious object of which she thought a great deal. The rule of Fontevrault did not forbid this. She would not show this object to anyone. She shut herself up, which her rule allowed her to do, and hid herself, every time that she desired to contemplate it. If she heard a footstep in the corridor, she closed the cupboard again as hastily as it was possible with her aged hands. As soon as it was mentioned to her, she became silent, she who was so fond of talking. The most curious were baffled by her silence and the most tenacious by her obstinacy. Thus it furnished a subject of comment for all those who were unoccupied or bored in the convent. What could that treasure of the centenarian be, which was so precious and so secret? Some holy book, no doubt? Some unique chaplet? Some authentic relic? They lost themselves in conjectures. When the poor old woman died, they rushed to her cupboard more hastily than was fitting, perhaps, and opened it. They found the object beneath a triple linen cloth, like some consecrated paten. It was a Faenza platter representing little Loves flitting away pursued by apothecary lads armed with enormous syringes. The chase abounds in grimaces and in comical postures. One of the charming little Loves is already fairly spitted. He is resisting, fluttering his tiny wings, and still making an effort to fly, but the dancer is laughing with a satanical air. Moral: Love conquered by the colic. This platter, which is very curious, and which had, possibly, the honor of furnishing Molière with an idea, was still in existence in September, 1845; it was for sale by a bric-à-brac merchant in the Boulevard Beaumarchais.
Les Misérables 2.6.9
One of my favourite Convent details is the Little Convent’s centenarian from the Abbey of Fontevrault and her secret m/m medical kink porn.

Top 10 de mes serials préférés de Doctor Who.
Le Premier Docteur
Cinquième et Dernière Partie
2. The Ark

1. The Sensorites

When you sit in the driving seat of a Continental GT or Flying Spur, the dials in your field of view are a model of clarity and characterful design. It’s easy to forget that the hint of 3D knurling on the dial inners and the subtle shadowing beneath the elegant needles are all generated digitally on an active matrix Thin Film Transistor whose thickness is measured in millimetres. That’s the work of the Human Machine Interface (HMI) team, led by Graeme Smith – the specialists responsible for Bentley’s infotainment systems.
Human Machine Interface (HMI) team give digital screens the Bentley look
Digital designs in harmony with physical interior features
Bentley debut of the superb word ‘skeuomorphic’ in a press release
Subtle design differentiation between models
New dim screen mode with pencil beam needle illumination
30 different languages, including right-to-left and vertical reading
Careful evolution in partnership with Design team
State-of-the-art technology with enduring design values
Think of Bentleys past, and it’s often the interior details that come to mind – the brass lap counter on the dash of Tim Birkin’s 1929 4½ Litre supercharged ‘Blower’ Bentley (adapted from a billiard table score counter), or the assured simplicity of a patinated 1952 R-Type Continental, its analogue dials deep set within a simple walnut dash. Bentley interiors speak of craftsmanship and a very British design aesthetic that’s a powerful part of their appeal.
Today though, digital technology must be integrated throughout a Bentley’s interior. The ability to connect with smartphones, view 3D digital mapping, summon up music, movies (for the passengers) and control the cabin ambience at the touch of a finger all comes from pixels and microprocessors rather than cables and gears.
Giving those flat glass screens the same design ethos as the handcrafted wood and crisply knurled metals that surround them is a challenge, but it’s one that Graeme Smith and his team of Human Machine Interface (HMI) designers at Bentley have taken on with great success.
The skeuomorphism debate; Bentley’s philosophy
Working with the styling team in Crewe, Graeme and his team of graphic designers create a mood board of icons, colours and images that will appear in a new model. A key decision is whether to make the graphics skeuomorphic – a 3D graphic representation of a physical object – or flat digital design. Smith explains Bentley’s approach:
“A Bentley isn’t a smartphone; it’s going to be used and cherished for generations. So we chose a skeuomorphic approach that will age with the car. Look at pure digital instrument graphics from ten years ago – they’ve dated faster than the car they were part of”
His point is echoed by Director of Design, Stefan Sielaff.
“In general, skeuomorphism is being phased out in favour of a clear and flat graphic communication of information. But we were quite clear about not going all the way to this kind of ultra-modern digital graphic. It would have been wrong for the brand and for the car. We still use skeuomorphism, dials and needles, to convey the traditional way of getting this kind of information.”
Night mode – a moment of magic
One of Bentley’s latest digital design innovations is the new dim screen mode, for those times when you don’t need any navigation or infotainment to distract you from the road ahead. Like the simple veneered panel on the central rotating display, it offers the appealing prospect of a ‘digital detox’ moment. A bare minimum of information is displayed; fuel gauge and engine temperature, time, speed and outdoor temperature. Even the speedometer and rev counter dials are in darkness – except for a soft pool of light around the point of each needle. It’s the perfect option for long night drives on familiar roads, enabling owners to evoke the spirit of Woolf Barnato’s legendary night drive through France to beat the Blue Train, or the marque’s many victories at Le Mans.
Subtle differentiation for Flying Spur
Both the Continental GT and Flying Spur have the same driver instrumentation, but there are subtle differences in the design. Working with Bentley designers Brett Boydell and David Leary, Graeme’s team introduced a new element for the Flying Spur in the form of a bronze chapter ring around both the speedometer and the rev counter. As Brett explains, “We introduced the bronze chaplets to give a consistent feel between the physical and digital detailing. The design reflects the refinement and luxury of the Flying Spur, whilst still being a precision instrument appropriate to such a high-performance vehicle.” Where the Continental GT’s dials feature a 3D-effect to the background knurling, reflecting the design of that model’s distinctive gear lever, the Flying Spur’s dial has an outer ‘machined’ disc where the numerals sit. Both designs complement tangible design elements within the cabin; the Continental GT’s design is clearly performance focused, while the dials of the Flying Spur convey a hint more formality.
The logistics of language
Once the design is approved, next comes the task of translating it into every menu, operation and screen. For the central display in the Flying Spur, that meant designing around 600 different icons and over 1,500 menu screens. There were the different alphabets and page orientations of English, Russian, Arabic and Chinese to incorporate, and text for 27 different languages to translate and accommodate within the screen layouts. Graphics that relate to proprietary systems or icons, like Sirius radio in the US or Apple CarPlay, have to be signed off by those companies. There are three different audio systems – Bentley, Bang & Olufsen and Naim – all with their own graphic interface. It’s a logistical labyrinth that demands patient, logical, problem-solving minds. The Human Machine Interface team at Bentley includes three graphic designers and nine ‘function owners’ who each take responsibility for a specific infotainment area, from audio to climate.
Evolution with respect for the past
The digital world is evolving rapidly, and will continue to grow in importance, but at Bentley there will always be a balance. Smith cites the rotating display in the Flying Spur, which offers a three-way choice of digital display, analogue dials or pure veneered panel.
“The experience of travelling within a Bentley is always a precious one, and the digital graphics we’ve created are part of that. But we never lose sight of the car they’re part of. I’m proud to be part of making our digital world feel truly Bentley.”
Flying Spur in detail: bringing Bentley design values to the screen When you sit in the driving seat of a Continental GT or Flying Spur, the dials in your field of view are a model of clarity and characterful design.

11 de Diciembre de 1998 / Hora: 12:00 mediodía Lugar: Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, Imezo Owa
ESTOY CONSTRUYENDO MI TABERNÁCULO EN TU CORAZÓN A TRAVÉS DE MI SELLO.
In my meditation prayer, I saw Our Lord coming down from the cloud, holding a chalice. On the mouth of the chalice was a tongue of fire. As He was coming down, Divine rays shone out from the chalice to us whom I saw gathered at the foot of the Cross of Calvary. He came nearer and said:
“My children, receive this; this is My Blood, the Blood of your redemption. Open your heart for My great Seal”.
He left the chalice in the air. I saw the chalice multiplying through the first chalice and moving into the hearts of people gathered at the foot of the Cross.
Immediately, cloud came down and covered the whole place. In the cloud appeared the Holy Face of Jesus Christ in great agony. He calmly said:
“My children, the hour that is coming soon is so fearful and terrifying. Who will survive it? That is what motivated Me to come to you and build up the tabernacle of My love. So, when the hour comes, your heart will not be dry. The joy of My Glory will continue flourishing inside all hearts in whom I built My tabernacle of love. I will let the ocean of My Precious Blood flow constantly inside their hearts, even in the greatest hour of dryness that will soon befall mankind.
My children, offer Me your lives as a living sacrifice. Offer Me your hearts. I am ready to make it whiter than snow. I say to you children, surrender to every cross. Accept your persecution in reparation for the sins of the world. Humbly accept your rejection by the world, and also your condemnation, even unto death for My sake. I am the Agonizing Jesus Christ. Through your sufferings, you are purified.
Children, listen now, live far from the world of noise and commotion, put away your eyes from the worldly shows for they may seduce your hearts. Live in complete interior silence and meditation on My Agonizing Life. Pray always.
Recen siempre.
My children, remain with Me in Gethsemane in the midnight of Thursday dawning into Friday. Offer Me the Chaplet of My Precious Blood. Console Me and adore Me with the prayers I taught you; make reparation for sins and consecrate your lives to My Precious Blood, through the prayers I gave you. Remain in Gethsemane with Me, so that your faith will not fall when the evil man comes.
My children, bring little infants to Me during these hours of the Great Seal; I love them. I will save them.
Listen, My children, we have three great months of Seal, then, comes the hour… Today is the first hour of My Seal. It will manifest in all hearts eagerly waiting for the Lord.
This Seal continues on all the Fridays of the Month of Seal till the First Friday of the following month and at the same hour.
The Second Month is the month of April till the first Friday of May. And the Third Month of Seal is the great month of July. Remain with Me in deep prayer and meditation during these hours on every Friday of the month. I promise to seal you.
Prometo sellarlos.
My children, announce this message to all My people in the whole world, so that their hearts will not be troubled when the hour comes.
My children, this devotion is like a garden enclosed. No one can enter, unless permitted by Me. All who are outside cannot see the beautiful vine in My garden. They cannot interpret what kind of crop is grown there. Happy are all to whom the gate was opened when they knocked. They shall eat the fruit of life in My Holy Garden.
Children, rejoice for you have received the kingdom that cannot be shaken. I am the Agonizing Jesus Christ. Open your heart to Me. I love you all. I bless you all”
Soy Jesucristo Agonizante. Ábranme su corazón. Los amo a todos. Los bendigo a todos.”
Immediately, the Precious Blood from His Sacred Head dropped on me. I woke up and came back to myself. Then, the vision passed.

Christ the King is a title of Jesus in Christianity referring to the idea of the Kingdom of God where the Christ is described as seated at the Right Hand of God.
The titles of “Christ” and “king” are not used together in the gospel, but “Christ” is in itself a royal title (i.e. “the anointed [king]”). In the Greek text, the Christ is explicitly identified as king several times, so in Matthew 2:2 (“Where is the newborn king of the Jews?”). In John 18, Pilate refers to the implication that the Christ is a royal title by inquiring explicitly if Jesus claims to be the “king of the Jews”. Similarly, in John 1:49, a follower addresses Jesus as “the king of Israel”.
Outside of the gospel, the First Epistle to Timothy (6:14–15) explicitly applies the phrase of “king of kings and lord of lords”, taken from the Pentateuch (Deuteronomy 10:17) to Jesus Christ
The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, commonly referred to as the Feast of Christ the King, is a relatively recent addition to the Western liturgical calendar, having been instituted in 1925 by Pope Pius XI for the Roman Catholic Church. In 1970 its Roman Catholic observance was moved to the final Sunday of Ordinary Time.
Therefore, the earliest date on which it can occur is 20 November and the latest is 26 November. Traditional Catholics observe it on its original date, the last Sunday of October.

Primer Doctor
William Hartnell 1963-1966

Auteurs: May D’ALENCON, Kersti CHAPLET

Gauchi Exhibition - The Alchemist
A whole workshop of artifacts and creations show the evolution of this alchemist born in Péru. Taking as an example impressionists like Camille Pisarro, his works are the result of a laboratory of forms and experiments that convince us of the matter importance as the basis of creation. Degas will also be quite present in his works, because Gauguin was not just a painter but also a sculptor. During the beginning of the exhibition I found quite curious the presence of two busts made in wax that represented the first two children of the artist: Jean and Aline.
Moreover through different sculptures you can appreciate the dark tone achieved thanks to natural pigments from linen. This importance for natural and organic substances will be well present in his later creations. During the visit, a whole journey summarizes the artist's life in three decisive periods that also marked his personal style: his childhood in Peruvian lands, his stay in Bretagne or in Martinique and his adventure in Tahiti.
Ceramic sculpture was the beginning of one of his most personal styles, revealing at the same time his preference for clay materials requiring fire to transform them. It will be in the Parisian workshop of the ceramist Ernest Chaplet that artist and ceramist became one. This importance given to the power of fire could be rooted in the Peruvian culture symbolism. This element crowns one of the temples based in Caral with an incineration pit where the flames represent creation and rebirth. «La nature est matière, l'esprit est matrice» is how they conceive their sculptures, vases or vessels, created after a metamorphosis having as an example the goddess Oviri.
During his stay in Europe, especially in Bretagne and in Paris you can see a westernization of his painting. For example, the principal subject become rural and peasant scenes, a remarkable aspect in their vases and paintings as "Bretonnes peysannes", or seascapes as "dans les vagues". The influence of Munch's expressionism or his meeting in Paris with Van Gog justifies the multicolored waves that flood the canvas of "La beignade au moulin du bois d'amour". The engravings made in this period remind us of the methodology used at that time to illustrate books and newspapers with bright colors that remind us of Matisse.
Insatiably seduced by the exotic and by the medieval, Gauguin decided to flee from the western culture first settled in Thaiti and finally in the Marquesas Islands in 1891. Paradise that marked the last transit of his life making him return to a synthetic and rupestrian style as we can recognize in his work: "nativité".
