Dust - Learning To Die [1972 Proto Punk Metal USA ]
Gotta say, Marc Bell (the future Marky Ramone) already sort of looked like he was wearing the infamous wig by that point.
But, that was the early '70s, and they frankly all sort of did. Except possibly for Frizz Guy* in the middle.
I am also unfortunately reminded again of that time at some point in the early '90s, when I spotted their first LP in the used vinyl section on one of my usual trawling missions through The Record Exchange-that-was in Blacksburg. And I passed it up because (a) I only had like $10 on me with something else already picked out; (b) I had less idea if I would even enjoy it, and really might not have at the time; and (c) I did not have a functioning turntable in the house right then. Which was not at all unusual at the time. Vinyl was pretty deeply unpopular then, except among a certain set of audiophiles. Not that this stopped me from buying other somewhat rare shit on vinyl, and taking it to usually my music enthusiast uncle's house to transfer onto cassette there.
But yeah, I passed up a chance Dust opportunity ca. 1990, basically because I was like 15. And was already kinda regretting that decision within a week. I don't actually have any of the vinyl hoard I did build up then anymore**, but I still kinda wish I'd gone ahead and bought it when I saw it.
*I am saying this as someone with a hair texture that gets spectacularly frizzy when it's longer and I so much as bring a comb near it.
** Thanks to my hoarder dad not actually shipping stuff to me like he was supposed to after I moved continents with two suitcases, then a house fire. I have ranted about this more than enough before.

I actually need some fanfic, where Bruce and Jason are in the middle of some argument, and a casual (and a well-practiced with Dick before) sentence leaves his mouth, something along the lines "How old do you think you are?!", meaning that he is acting childishly. And because Jason is irritated, and his tongue runs loose in his anger, he screams back that he is nineteen, and Bruce just freezes, because... Oh. Jason is nineteen. He is a fucking kid - his kid - that lost years of his teenhood, and was forced back without anyone giving him a space to catch up, with everyone else already treating him like an adult... When he isn't.

The manga industry, especially JUMP, needs to hurry up and do away with weekly scheduling for mangaka. There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.
