How be safe from scams

Hello folks, in light of recent events (e.g. I think I was scammed), I have decided to make a post reminding people about keeping your money safe.

Here is a list of things you should consider when taking commissions online.

when it comes time for payment, always go through channels you trust and have used or tested previously.

ask your client for evidence that they have paid you and run it through a photoshop scanner just in case.

Check your client's public profile for anything suspicious before following instructions that may take advantage of you.

always have a trusted adult help with the payment process if you are new to it.

never follow instructions from an email you are not sure about.

follow your gut feelings, if you think something is wrong, it usually is.

and finally, take your own safety seriously and before others, even if your client says you're a bad person for it.

Anyway, I think I am going to be a lot more careful accepting commissions from now on.

dinas kali ini bener-bener menohok dalam artian positif: aku merasa malu sebagai generasi muda tapi banyak ngeluh dan banyak mageran nya, sementara ada beberapa generasi boomer, bahkan yang udah tergolong sepuh karena usia udah di atas 60, tapi masih semangat dalam hal keilmuan.

dari teman sekamar yang merupakan seorang ibu namun juga seorang pekerja yang gigih yang masih semangat meluangkan waktu untuk mengikuti kursus online utk mengembangkan kemampuan di bidangnya. terus ada kenalan yang ternyata senior paling senior alumni SMA dan beliau seorang dosen di 3 univ di jakarta, saat mengikuti agenda dinas masih nyambi zoom berkaitan dg kegiatan kampus dan pengetahuan beliau bener2 luar biasa sih.

aduh malu betul aku di usia yang jauh lebih muda, dengan kapasitas kemampuan diri yang lebih besar untuk dikembangkan, tapi malah mageran dan baperan atas hal-hal yang sungguh ga perlu.

belum lagi ini lagi baca buku Buya Hamka yang ditulis oleh Ahmad Fuadi. malu banget sih dengan resource-ku saat ini yang jauh lebih banyak menjangkau segala macam ilmu dibandingkan jaman Buya Hamka, tapi aku malah seolah dengan sengaja mengkerdilkan kapasitas diri sebagai anak bangsa.

ya diambil leasson learnt aja, pelan-pelan bangkit, ga perlu jadi tokoh besar nasional, at least jadi tokoh yang bisa membesarkan kapasitas diri untuk kebaikan diri sendiri dan sekitar. bisa dimulai dengan mencintai kembali buku-buku dan kegiatan membaca. yokk bisaaa yookk!!

No, I fully agree on you with Istvan acts like a mentor and tries to teach Henry important lessons. (I just really found it funny that he lowkey mocks himself with that line about coming back to haunt someone) After all he throws lines like: "War is a nasty business.", "We're on oppisite sides, but I've already lived through your whole life. I'm only trying to advise you lad." and "See now, at least you've learnt one thing from me" (I love how happy Istvan even says that line. Proud mentor) And let's be honest, everything Istvan says in Trosky is true. Yes, Sigismund way isn't the brightest solution but the nobles only cared about themselves and noone else. Istvan might be a noble, but it is mentioned that high nobles, nobles by blood do not care about those who earned their noble titles. And yes, the nightmares after Maleshov truly beautifully underline the "Mentor" state even more. Because he's either disappointed in you or nearly "proud" that you finally understood his leassons. (and by god Logan's performance during those scenes is magnificent)

I find it quite interesting how he tells this to Henry, yet he himself makes the same mistake and get "haunted by it". Twice he had Henry at his mercy, and both times he may have tortured but not killed. It would had been so easy for Istvan to simply end Henry, even back in Vranik. After all, he may be Radzig's son, but at the end he's still just a bastard child. (And let's not forget Istvan's "I almost felt sorry for Radzig's bastard,.." Sorry because Radzig keeps sending him on these kind of missions? Istvan honey, why would you feel sorry and leave him alive knowing fully well it will haunt you?)

this went so crazy he looks like a depressed turtle, like if there was a zany family movie about a group of animals that got turned into humans and had to navigate new york city to find the witch that did the spell he would be the sad mopy turtle named wally that is super pessimistic but eventually when all seems lost saves everyone when he refuses to loose hope cause he’s learnt a leasson about optimism and friendship

EDIT: have just been informed by a friend of mine that this is basically verne from over the hedge and LOOK MAYBE IVE JUST HAD NO SLEEP BUT THEY LOOK SO SIMILAR

What is it?

better learning, deeper and more persistent understanding if actually teach than solely preparing to teach

Why?

as you continue to teach, you have to remember the info. you've learned. expert call this "retreival". 教的过程就是practice you've learned 的过程

How?

teach身边的人

teach younger person, try simple and clear. ask them what they do not understand, asking for feedback will help you realise that you may not understand things as well as you thought you did.知道自己其实不知道，这一点是学习的关键。that is an important, necessary step in the learning process.

imagine youself describing lesson to someone or to write the leasson down. e.g. you could write an email describing what you have learnt in great detail.

record video of youself teaching information. you could then send the leasson to friends or put it on Youtube or some other social media service.

almost flew out the car window today bc my dumbass forgot to use a seatbelt. also got burnt with cookie dough bc me and my wife tried to airfry cookies earlier. so like a few leassons have definitely been learnt

Aftereffects

Although I don’t have proof of the work due to a technical issue I will document down what I have done in the animation class with Irine.

On the animation course I had learnt the basics of a adobe software known after effects which is an animation software. During my first lesson I had spent some of the leasson learning the basics of aftereffects and I learnt how to move around an image on illustrator and learned how to export a illustrator image on to after effects.

we had spent another portion of the leasson on after effects in doing so I had moved a face image on after effects with some tweewing I was able to give off the illusion that the face on after effects was moving around, that their mouth, eyes, eye brows and even nose was moving. At first I had struggled getting used to the program since I made a few errors in the movements which had seemed unnatural but after a while I had learned the basics and I found the program to be very useful.
