I guess this is why my teacher took my pencil out of my hand and made me use my right hand when I was first learning to write. I was ambidextrous but since I had to spend eight hours or more every day, using mostly my right hand for everything, I lost a lot of my strength and coordination in my left hand. Then I got arthritis in my right. It hurts all the time and writing with a pen is torture. Two of my fingers are stiffening, even with stretches.

I wish I had continued to use my left for writing and drawing. I did switch hands when legibility wasn’t super important because I Can write and eat and color with my left hand. Now that I use a tablet for art, I use my left hand for filling in colors, or selecting and erasing.

Practice using all of your body. Learn to get up off the ground without your hands. Learn to cook and eat with your non dominant hand. Stretch and wiggle frequently and take breaks to rest your eyes and brain. You never know when your strength will be needed.

I sure do wish the tumblr app ui didnt make it so easily to accidentally send my friends posts!! I appreciate the hold down for fast actions feature on the icons, but it shouldnt be so easy trigger them on accident

So for anyone who's not aware, Tumblr recently changed the Tumblr Live to snooze from 10 to 30 days. Which is great, but of course, even though it's supposed to snooze, the button's still there on the bottom of the screen... which obviously goes completely against what a snooze button is actually supposed to do. It's literally worthless.

Who wants to bet this was actually an intentional move on @staff 's end? This isn't a simple glitch. It's the same goddamn thing when they tried to switch the store and blog buttons around only to reverse it when they rightfully got a severe amount of backlash. Except this is worse considering you could "supposedly" turn it off, except you can't. 😤

I'm seriously thinking of making the switch to Pillowfort at this point. The site definitely has its own issues and is literally still in BETA since several years ago, but seeing the direction Tumblr is going, it's really starting to become more appealing.

I don't understand why we can't keep things the way they are. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, goddammit. 😮‍💨

You ever think about how Xion was always shown as mostly left-handed/ambidextrous in every game she appeared in before KH3. And how KH3 shows her as exclusively right-handed.

How about thinking about that in conjunction with Riku's wrist injury from fighting Roxas.

One of the frustrating things about being left handed is that a lot of crafting tutorials aren't made for us- and for textile work, which hand you use really does matter!

So I thought I'd pass this little video from our local public library along. Hairpin lace crochet is so much easier than knitting, you can learn it in an hour.
