Oooh!!! Time to explain the ✨️lore✨️ of this au, I guess ahah.

Basically, the golden tickets are sent out and kind of just manifest in the bars for the five children in the world with the strongest magical 'signatures'. This is a world where magic barely exists anymore, just lying dormant in a lot of people- some have much more magic than others.

The five golden ticket winners, Augustus, Veruca, Violet, Mike, and Charlie have very strong dormant magic- which is what Wonka is looking for.

But, in order to bring out that magic, SOMETHING needs to happen, I guess? That's where their 'demises' come in- the Factory knows what must be done in order for them to use their powers, so it makes these situations and pulls the tour where it needs to!!! Wonka's looking for heirs who can help keep her (the factory) alive.

With Veruca, I'd bet it's. Pretty scary to suddenly understand the squirrels. But it gives her a chance to stop them and perhaps even apologize.

I... guess you don't know? Alright, I guess since I am the daughter of a certified nurse... So, when you are in ICU, you are placed in a hospital bed where they connect you to wires to read your heart rate, your fluids, your breathing and your brain waves. This is how they're able to know if your brain is functioning properly or not. Even now, there are at-home sleep masks for those with sleeping disorders that record your brain waves while you sleep.

So yes, it does make sense for widget to know what Athena is thinking without concluding that she's a robot. Also, in case you try to use the, "widget is around her neck, not anywhere near her brain." Widget is connected to her earrings, which are located right next to her Temporal Lobe, which is the part of the brain where your emotions, visual processing, memories, hearing, speech and behavior is processed.

What I find to require mental gymnastics is how you came to the conclusion that THIS expression titled "serious" in the gif was a sad expression...

when Trucy has these two, one titled "worried" and the other "sad."

Just my opinion, but I'd hardly call an expression meant to be serious "sad." Trucy is no Edgeworth.

Chief Mod Edgeworth: From what I researched, he was the script supervisor for the anime, but that was it. He was not in control or responsible for what became of the anime. That also doesn't make the anime good. JK Rowling directed Fantastic Beasts and that bombed.

Even so, it is expected that an anime adaptation of anything will involve the original creator in some form because of Japan's laws protecting creators. America doesn't have this, which is why many anime/manga adaptations often bomb harder if made here.

Iggy Koopa is a master of machinery but (and?) he is also a complete freakazoid. Praised as "the brainy kid" during his childhood - no doubt to to Ludwig's chagrin - Iggy once upon a time supplied his King Dad with a smorgasbord of Inventions, such as the cloning machine GLOM (my favorite), everything in Yoshi's Safari, and the one that makes you freaky friday switch with a random person (self explanatory). These days, though, his "inventions" are limited to insane rube goldberg machines that do nothing, attempts to break reality as we know it, or dumb pranks. Iggy is completely maniacal and does not give a shit what people think of him; he also considers himself a genius but unlike Ludwig he kind of is. Extremely close with lemmy and loves to show off his instruments of chaos to his easily impressed brother (ironic because when they were younger iggy was the one easily impressed by him). Beyond that though Iggy and Lemmy both deeply admire each other's unflappable strangeness in their own way, and also love causing trouble with each other. Iggy has an affinity for chain chomps and has his own pet chain chomp aptly named Chompy, and he also loves the jungle which is why he made his head into a tree. Oh, and he also has a violent phobia of yoshis as of super mario world because when bowser put him on Yoshi's Island he was scared of the yoshis so he isolated himself on a floating rock and crouched there until@mario came and pushed him off the rock.

I read your fanfic where a TV Mike is in gets broken and it made me wonder: what risks does Veruca’s powers have if Mike risks getting stuck in a TV/glitching if the TV breaks?

Mike's powers are a lot more temperamental than Veruca's. His are manifesting in a way that it hasn't before with anyone else- technology is newer, and magic hasn't been super prevalent for a very long time. So the magic is trying to adjust to technology and use it according to how Mike works- it's sorrt of why Mike is so directly connected to the factory later on. He uses her magic as a crutch and she uses his.

Another note on that fic, that was simply Mike playing a trick on Violet and Veruca! He COULD get seriously trapped if something goes wrong, but it was all planned on his part. :)

Veruca herself has a much more simple and 'traditional' power. She prides herself in this- the magical princess power!- but she still is super jealous of the others, especially Charlie.

She's pretty much safe from anything falling apart like that. Besides the off chance she makes an animal mad.

first post to offer is: a big dump of my version of the koopalings......... cause i finished it yesterday and i just want to talk about it.

The events here happens about years later of the original koopalings. And things got a little angsty in the process.

TW: Mention of surgical injuries.

Larry Koopa:

- 15 years old, second youngest koopaling.

- Rockstar, have a punk rock band with three friends.

Larry is the most rebellious koopa of the seven. He gets in trouble often, and it's not the type of trouble like breaking a ceramic jar or just be noisy. Nah, he gets in trouble with the police and break stuff in every concert he have. Pretty much a punk.

The most responsible one is Ludwig, making sure he doesn't get lost in the middle of the night, or intoxicated in every concert or party.

"He's just a kid" they say. "An angry kid" Ludwig corrects.

These situations made Ludwig have to get psychological help for Larry. For now, is going well, even if it's a long process.

Lemmy Koopa:

- 13 years old, the youngest.

- Juggler, circus artist.

Even if Lemmy is the youngest koopaling, and seems to be quite childish, he's quite mature when it comes to business. Since he's clearly not old enough to work in a circus, he's controlled by the crew of the Koopa Circus, which are the ones supervising Lemmy to not get hurt while doing his shows.

He's positive and the sunshine of the family, always cheering up his siblings. The closer brothership have is with Iggy.

Morton Koopa Jr.:

- 18 years old.

- Blacksmith of the castle.

Morton is actually the one that people considered that changed more. More after... What happened. Why does he have a scarf on? Easy. His jaw is broken. But like... Dislocated, almost tearing off his face. It's not pretty sure how did it happened, Bowser prefers to blame it on Mario. But what is sure, is that Morton became more intimidating after that, only seen inside his workshop, blacksmithing weapons for the Koopa Troops.

Despite the fact he's now mute, and is forced to eat specific food, Morton still have a kind soul and is a great company for his siblings. He loves to hear the new stories Lemmy have for him, attend to Larry's concerts, make a friendly fistfight with Roy, listen Iggy ramble about his new experiments, help Wendy choose her new dress, and listen Ludwig's new pieces.

Roy Koopa:

- 22 years old.

- Fighter, former boxer and street fighter.

You can think Roy as the typical 'bad boy vibe' guy. He's tough, easy going, smug... Everything you can expect from a boxer. He works with Wendy, though Wendy is more careful and intelligent while fighting, while he is more impulsive. It's not surprise Wendy won more trophies than Roy, but that's not a impediment for him.

Curiously, Roy and Wendy are the only biological siblings in the koopaling family. They don't like to remember how they started to learn how to fight...

Iggy Koopa:

- 23 years old.

- Scientist, specifically focused on biotechnology.

Iggy is a nerd. A crazy nerd. As far as his siblings know, Iggy didn't do anything too... Dangerous to experiment. More than mix some chemicals that ends up with a nosebleed and dizziness, or chemically modify a plant that actually would make the ceiling go broken. Yeah, not more than that.

But Iggy always talk about being a God, and have a strange fascination over human species. How the bodies works, how the human mind can go miles away...

The only rule is "Princess Peach must stay away from Iggy Koopa."

Wendy O. Koopa:

- 25 years old.

- Fighter, co-partner of Roy Koopa in the ring.

The only girl of the family, and the one that is obvious she grew with only men in her around. Wendy never leaves her coquette side when it comes to fighting, after all her muscles look good in a pretty pink dress that matches with her ribbon.

Wendy is not only a fighter, but also responsible of the younger ones, Larry, Lemmy and Bowser Jr. to be exact. She's a great help for Ludwig and also a great older sister, in all honesty.

VERY noisy though, if she wants to make a scandal, she won't think twice in doing it. But besides that, she's a sweetheart.

Ludwig Von Koopa:

- 30 years old.

- Musician, classical composer and professional piano player.

It's always "Ludwig is so fine" but never "Is Ludwig feeling fine?"

Ludwig is tired. Periodt. But even if he's tired, he still keeps his responsibilities in check, always acting authorative, and the one that takes most of the decisions commanded by Bowser or Bowser Jr., though he never takes Bowser Jr's suggestions. It's letting a kid rule the world, and he thinks that's pathetic.

Oftenly Ludwig prefers to pass time in his room or outside of the castle, live his adult life. Sucks at social interactions whatsoever.

He's the one that have more mental struggles, but refuses to get external help. Everytime that's mentioned, it causes an argument.

Bowser Jr.’s Grand Birthday Bash

The halls of Bowser’s Castle were alive with energy. Banners of red, gold, and black hung from every stone wall, torches burned brighter than usual, and the grand throne room had been completely transformed into the most extravagant party space in all of the Koopa Kingdom. A massive cake—easily the size of a battle tank—stood in the center, decorated with frosting shaped like Bowser Jr.’s signature bandana. Colorful balloons and streamers covered every surface, and tables overflowed with gifts, sweets, and all the best food a royal feast could offer.

Today wasn’t just any day—it was Bowser Jr.’s birthday, and everyone in the castle was determined to make it the best day ever.

The Spoiled Birthday Prince Arrives

Loud trumpet fanfare blared as Kamek, floating above the ground with his usual serious expression, cleared his throat and declared:

“Presenting the birthday boy, royal heir to the Koopa Kingdom, Prince Bowser Jr.!”

The doors swung open, and Bowser Jr. strutted in with the biggest, smuggest grin on his face. He was dressed in a special royal shell polish, a new spiked bracelet on his wrist, and his favorite bib perfectly tied around his neck. He absolutely loved being the center of attention, and today was all about him.

The Koopalings, standing together in a row, burst into cheers.

“Happy birthday, Jr.!” Larry called excitedly, bouncing on his heels.

“Hope you’re ready for the ultimate party!” Ludwig added with a regal nod.

Morton clapped his massive hands together. “YES! BIRTHDAY! BIG CELEBRATION! FUN TIME FOR BABY BROTHER!”

“I made sure all the decorations were perfect!” Wendy chimed in, flipping her hair. “This party had to be fabulous, duh.”

“Iggy and I set up all the games!” Lemmy giggled, cartwheeling in place.

“Yep! And they’re all Jr.-approved!” Iggy added, adjusting his glasses. “Only the most chaotic ones, of course.”

“Got ya the best music, too!” Roy smirked, thumping his chest. “Ain’t a party without some killer beats.”

Bowser Jr. crossed his arms and grinned even wider. “Well, duh! Of course my party’s awesome! It’s my birthday, so it’s gotta be the best!”

Bowser’s Grand Gift

From the other side of the room, the King of the Koopas himself, Bowser, stomped forward, towering over the crowd. Despite his usual gruffness, he looked surprisingly proud.

“Alright, alright, enough standing around!” Bowser’s deep voice boomed. “I got somethin’ for ya, kid.”

Jr.’s eyes lit up instantly. “Ooooh! What is it?! What is it?!”

Bowser snapped his fingers, and a group of Koopa Troop soldiers rushed forward, struggling to push a massive gift box wrapped in shiny gold paper. The box was shaking slightly, whatever was inside clearly trying to get out.

Jr. practically vibrated with excitement as he ripped the wrapping paper off. The moment he yanked the lid open, a brand-new Clown Car—this one sleeker, way more tricked out than his old one—floated out! It had spikes, a custom paint job, and even flame decals on the sides.

“WHOOOA! This is SO COOL!” Jr. shouted, immediately jumping into the driver’s seat. He pressed a few buttons, and the Clown Car spun in the air, firing confetti cannons.

Bowser crossed his arms, smirking. “Had Kamek enchant it myself. Stronger defenses, better controls—and you got a built-in snack holder.”

Jr. gasped. “You’re the BEST, Dad!”

Bowser ruffled his son’s hair. “Yeah, yeah, just don’t go crashin’ it first thing.”

The Ultimate Party Begins!

With gifts exchanged, the party truly kicked off.

Games Galore: Lemmy and Iggy’s games were a massive hit. Jr. and the Koopalings played “Pin the Tail on Mario” (which Jr. obviously won), Shell Dodgeball, and an epic obstacle course that had Jr. zooming through loops and rings in his new Clown Car.

Music Madness: Roy made sure the music was loud and wild, and soon enough, the entire castle was rocking. Morton even grabbed a microphone and tried singing. It was painfully loud, but Jr. laughed so hard he nearly fell out of his Clown Car.

Food Feast: Wendy made sure the food was top-tier, from steaming hot Koopa burgers to Bowser’s signature spicy lava wings. Jr. devoured at least three plates.

And then, the cake arrived.

Jr.’s eyes widened as Kamek levitated it in front of him. “A cake fit for a prince, if I do say so myself,” Kamek announced. It had Jr.’s face in icing on top, complete with a little edible Clown Car.

“BEST. CAKE. EVER.” Jr. declared before smashing a fork into it.

The Night Ends with a Bang

As the day went on, Jr. was absolutely soaking in all the attention. He was showered with praise, gifts, and way too much sugar. And just when he thought the party couldn’t get any better—

BOOM!

Fireworks exploded outside the castle, lighting up the night sky with bursts of red, gold, and green. Jr. looked up, his face glowing from the light of the display.

The Koopalings gathered around him, all of them looking just as excited.

“This was the best birthday ever, huh, Jr.?” Larry grinned.

Jr. smirked, arms crossed. “Duh. But every birthday of mine is the best.”

Lemmy giggled. “But this one was extra special, right?”

Jr. looked at all his siblings, his dad, Kamek, and the soldiers who had worked so hard to make this day amazing. His spoiled nature wanted to say, Well, yeah, obviously!—but for just a moment, he softened.

“…Yeah,” he finally admitted. “This was the best.”

Bowser smirked and pulled his son into a one-armed hug. “Happy birthday, Jr.”

As the fireworks exploded above, laughter and cheers filled the castle. The spoiled prince had been properly celebrated, and the Koopalings had proven themselves as the best big siblings ever.

My Unofficial Morton Koopa Jr. Character Bio

Morton O Koopa the largest sibling of the 7 Koopalings also known as the Little Kuppa Corps. He is really strong and he is able to break through a rock in one hit. He is also strong enough to lift up a giant Chain Chomp. He is heavy enough to shake the earth and stun his opponents with the downside of him being very slow. Morton can wield magic with his wand, he can run on walls and the ceiling, he can created spiked balls with his magic, he can shoot fire from his wand, he wields a magic hammer, he can breath fire, he can jump up and do a super ground pound, sometimes he turns his wand into a hammer which he can set on fire when he’s mad, and he can use basically a power shell attack. He seems to get along well with Iggy and Lemmy, and he gets along with Bowser Junior. Like the other Koopalings he is able to operate various machinery such as Bowser’s Clown Copter, and has even been given his own airship. Most importantly he is an elite commander who leads Bowser’s troops. As such he has commanded said troops in fights against the pesky plumbers. Initially viewing Goombas as pathetic he gained respect for them thanks to the former Captain Goomba. He owns a construction company called Morton Construction which probably helps renovated locations for Mario Kart events. In one of his fights he hides in his shell and relies on his size, weight, and strength. Morton is not the brightest of the Koopalings and is a bit of an oaf. He has limited speech and often speaks about himself in the third person. He has really bad grammar, and he will often call Mario, Bad Mario. He also loves eating meat. Not Bowser's kid and are an adult.

Note, while the Koopalings status as Bowser’s kids were retconned other information about them wasn’t stated to have been retconned so it can be regarded as still canon unless new information contradicts it. Mostly the sibling part is what I’m referring to.
