Wait this is such a good take on the whole thing. But what if they've pointed it out because they want even Tyler's haters to focus on him? What if the big twist is related to him again, and they were afraid people wouldn't pay him attention because we wouldn't expect the plot twist to come from the same character twice. Plus this all fits so neatly into the Francoise is alive theory too!

I know we’re celebrating that Wyler has finally been canonically confirmed (as we should because it’s been a LONG 3 years), but I can’t help but wonder why they chose to confirm it before the season dropped.

I suspect they did it because they don’t want their relationship to be the fan’s focus this season. If they confirm Tyler and Wednesday’s feelings, then we won’t wonder if they’re real, or if she has feelings for someone else, which puts to rest the great debate. This frees us to enjoy and trust the authenticity of what’s happening between them.

So then I ask-

What the heck is going to happen this season that they were willing to risk a large part of their viewership by confirming Wyler before the season’s release? How crazy is this mystery that it requires our undivided attention? That they trust enough of those who don’t want her with Tyler will still enjoy it and come back for more?

I know we’re getting hints here and there, and that it’s so big that other characters are being given a larger role. I’m interested to hear more of your theories on their reasoning for confirming Wyler before the release.

All that to say- grab your black and white popcorn buckets friends.

We are in for a DELIGHTFUL treat.

I believe Wyler is going to be the cherry on top of a very dark and delicious season.
