The first event next month (the lim event) starting on July 7th will be a WxS Rui event! This is wxs' first limited event in 4 years and will have a 4* lineup of Rui/Tsukasa/Nene, as shown on stream. While not confirmed, the 2* for this event will probably be Emu, with Luka as 3*. The event will most likely be cool attribute and the event song should be 3DMV. The accompanying bfes gacha will feature Ena and KAITO!

After Rui's event will be Honami's 5th event, making her the last character to get their 5th event. Saki is pretty much guaranteed to be a 4* or perhaps not on the event at all due to being maxed out on reward cards and having the most cards in the game tied with Miku. The third rateup is likely to be Ichika or Rin (or both if Saki is absent). Shiho works as either 2* or 3*, and the other reward card will most likely be a 2* Ichika, 3* Len, or 2* KAITO. The event will most likely be cute attribute and the event song will probably be 2DMV.

The third event next month will be a MMJ Minori event. This event means that MMJ will not receive a hakolim over summer, but it also means that Minori will break Tsukasa/Rui/Kanade's record of having the longest gap between lims. The earliest Minori's next lim can be is anniversary bfes, 16 months after her wedding lim in 2024. Back on track, this event should have Shizuku as a rateup as she has not had a 4* since January. The third card could either be a VS or Haruka or Airi, it's hard to pick out a VS atm since we don't know who will be on Rui and Honami's events. The event will most likely be pure or cool attribute and the song could be either 2D or 3DMV, probably the latter.

As for the limited event at the end of the month, it will probably be VBS. It could be Niigo, but VBS is actually more in need of one since they need a Rin or Luka lim and Akito and An haven't had lims in a while. I reckon the rateup will be Akito/An/VS or Akito/An/Toya, but I think a vs is guaranteed.

Pre-Broadcast Station commentary

The next Broadcast Station stream will be on the 27th, featuring Caririn, Yuichan, Honchan, and Itoken!

In spite of the lack of wondershow members on stream, we know that the July 7th limited event has to be for them, and pretty much guaranteed for Rui. His event 4*s will most likely be previewed on stream alongside the accompanying fes gacha.

After Rui's event we're guaranteed a permanent leoneed event, hence Caririn. This event is basically guaranteed to be a Honami banner.

As for the other three people in the stream, it's possible that the event after Honami's will be for either MMJ or VBS, so they may be here for that announcement. Niigo is also a possibility, but due to the lack of a Niigo member on stream we'll count them out for now.

As mentioned earlier, the new fes cards will be previewed on this stream. Minori is very likely for a fes card, so that may explain Yuichan's appearance here. Other options include KAITO, Mizuki, and the Shinonome siblings.

-shizuku is adopted, hence why she looks so different from shiho. she was adopted shortly before the moon rabbit event and it contributed to her clinginess

-shiho forgets this fact sometimes. she’ll casually mention something like shizuku got all mom’s good genes so unfair and ichika has to be. um. shiho

-kanade is mildly nearsighted/myopic but spends so much time at her computer she hasn’t noticed

-emu is buff. she climbs multiple stories without breaking a sweat and is canonically part of the swimming, handball and rhythmic gymnastic clubs, you can’t tell me she doesn’t have some muscle

-saki helps out as a human notepad for tsukasa, reminding of him things he would otherwise forget within 5 minutes

-the vocaloids also help. at first it was unnerving to have hatsune miku be an extension of his psyche that knows his darkest secret (stole saki’s candy when he was 6) but now his phone has a more reliable catgirl themed reminder system

-you know that classic nightmare of leaving the house without pants? tsukasa has legitimately done that as a kid. he forgor. (saki will never let him live it down)

-in the kamiyama student council/hall monitor room, an has put up at sign saying “_ days since last kamishiro incident”

-the shinonome siblings both figured out the other one was gay before they figured it out about themselves

-airi’s great at trivia from her time as a variety show star. she still can’t beat minori at idol trivia, though

-ena keeps a diary with fort knox level security. try to read it and you’ll lose a finger

-shiho’s most treasured phenny is a somewhat lumpy crocheted phenny holding a very lumpy crocheted bass guitar

-kanade has pots & eds, this one I have a reason for look at her symptoms. chronic exhaustion, heat and cold intolerance, comorbid sleep issues and depression, dizziness when standing up, fainting after standing up, very pale skin, family history of medical issues, pain at normal physical activities, exercise intolerance, vertigo at mild exertion, she just fucking dies during the entire baseball event, I could go on. she canonically gets pain in her hands from opening a jar girl that is not just being out of shape that is physical disability. this one I will go conspiracy board on listen to me I’m right

-kohane ate bugs as a kid. an is horrified, toya is confused, akito is impressed

-ena and airi got in trouble in middle school because they’d keep starting fist fights in defense of the others honor. if they saw the other in a fight they’d jump in guns blazing no hesitation no questions ask ready to throw the fuck down

-vbs!rin and len were given a skateboard by an and then promptly had the skateboard confiscated by meiko for property destruction

-haruka is horrible with slang. she asks the stream chat what poggers means and immediately uses it completely wrong, killing all viewers on impact

-minori is torn between thinking it’s cute and wanting to die

-toya has been banned from arcades before because he made them lose too much money/they suspected he was cheating

-ena brought kanade over for girls night and nearly scared akito half to death because he went down to get a late night snack and there was some Ghastly Creature looming in his kitchen

-kohane's parents stick out like a sore thumb when going to her live shows. it mortifies her that everyone on vivid street can recognize them as the only milquetoast middle aged couple dressed in normal clothes loudly going YOU'RE DOING GREAT SWEETIE that don't know the first thing about music

-minori knows basic programming. she mostly uses it for forums, blogs, html, other web design things usually related to idols as a hobby, but she's become the groups designated anti-shizuku tech support

-mafuyu has always been able to see ghosts but after adults figured she was just playing pretend as a kid so she shrugged and figured it was normal and not worth bringing up again

-honami has one of those massive extended families and somehow keeps track of them all. at any given time cousin #57 can crawl out of the woodwork and she remembers their new job, favorite food, past three romantic relationships and list of allergic reactions

-mizuki does doll customizing as a hobby. they prefer making human sized clothes, but it's fun to make them miniature too. they've introduced shizuku to it and she loves it, but doesn't have the heart to do anything that would hurt the doll (sawing limbs off, dunking them in boiling water, shoving wires in them, etc.)

been putting together a new AU using the new set.. hehe <3

i've been seeing people pair idolkasa with the cyberpunk set!! and i thought i had a fun take on it. cyberpunk dystopia my beloved.

the world is very much focused on consumerism, content, and essentially selling yourself for the fame. pretty much everything that cyberpunk dead boy critiques.

tsukasa is an idol and his manager is emu. the otori family owns a whole bunch of stuff, but emu particularly likes the performance side of their businesses- idol work! she likes seeing smiles on people's faces. tsukasa on the other hand.. is mostly in it for the fame. he's pretty much just like main story tsukasa- he's forgotten his initial goal, completely swept up by the thought of becoming more and more popular. except, unlike in the main story, tsukasa doesn't reorient himself as quickly and gets lost in it. emu has kind of noticed this about him, and she will try to get him to be more normal about everything, but he just ignores that.

on the ruinene side of things, they're against everything the world is set up for! they are sort of fugitive-like characters who constantly interrupt the market as much as they can. this is done through messing with data servers and tech and stuff. rin is nene's AI that she uses to assist her in her hacking things, meanwhile rui is the one who goes out on foot to cause trouble.

as all my AUs go... ruikasa end goal. rui probably starts targeting the idol industry as the catalyst of this AU, setting his sights on the otori's highly successful idol, tsukasa. such a shame he is so pretty, though... you can do it, rui!

Nene5. The permanent knight set, that I honestly dubbed as the Musketeers when I first saw it.

And you know what? Fuck it.

WxS was originally training to be musketeers.

They didn't train together, honestly the only ones who really spoke to one another were Emu and Tsukasa. But they've all seen each other in passing and knew there was a chance they would all meet properly and might be put on the same team.

And then Rui was kicked out. Someone had learned he had magical abilities and had told the head musketeer, who was very against magic users. He didn't want one of his soldiers to a be a known magic user. While there was no law saying magic users couldn't be soldiers, he decided that Rui had to go, not just from his school, but the kingdom.

And so, Rui left after being given a fake letter which stated he was being banished from the Kingdom. There was no reason other than others coming forth about his magic that he used on them, which didn't actually happen.

No matter how hard he tried to defend himself, to go see the royal family, anyone, his attempts were blocked. Seeing he was getting nowhere with this, he decided to leave, a bitter and resentful feeling in his chest.

He traveled a long time before he arrived at the Aoyagi kingdom, where he met Prince Toya. And that's where he agreed to join forces with the Prince to someday dethrone his father. That day was the day he really began to lean into using magic.

The next to leave was Emu.

Emu, who upon hearing that magic users were being kicked out, decided she wasn't safe at this prestigious academy.

She wasn't human. The only reason she was able to get in was because of magic. An amulet gifted to her by sister's lover, Lady Yuki, a powerful witch. It would hide her rodent ears and tail, blending her in with the rest of her peers.

She didn't know Rui, but if he was kicked out just for being found out for having magic, what would happen to her if they learned she had been using magic the entire time?

The third to leave was Tsukasa. While he had no magical ability, that he knows of at the very least, he could see the academy was falling apart. Their teacher was grilling into everyone after he learned one of the students was a magic user.

And he didn't see how it was a problem?? Honestly, it felt like an advantage. Having someone with magic could mean a better defense or offense depending on what they needed.

There was just a sudden shift and being part of it any longer felt wrong. So, he left.

He thought his dreams were over. He wouldn't be able to save others and bring a smile to their faces. He kept on training on his own. At the very least he could protect those in his village, small as it was.

So when the captain of the Royal Guard approached him one day, with an offer to train him, admitting he saw him training every day. The way he would defend others. The time he jumped in to help someone when they were in trouble. He saw someone worthy of someday being the captain of the Royal Guard, and he'd be honored to train him.

Len was one of the last to leave. He was pretty young when he entered the academy. He wanted to find a purpose. To prove he could take care of others. Take care of Rin.

He wasn't sure how to feel when Rui was kicked out. He had heard rumors that he had magical abilities and thought it was cool. That maybe, maybe if he asked nicely, Rui would show him. The two didn't speak, so it might have been awkward at first but...

The academy losing more and more students, and thus it's reputation, made leaving easy.

He still wanted to find his purpose. To prove this was just a hurdle in his way. It took a long time, but he was eventually accepted to be trained by the Royal Guard, where he would later be added to the squadron of Captain Tsukasa Tenma.

No one knows what happened to one of the best students of the academy, Nene Kusanagi. Some say she wasn't real. That she was the lingering remains of Rui's magic.

Some say she left the same day Rui did. The two knew each other, so when he left, she followed.

Some say she had graduated early, and was on her way to being one of the Royal family's best musketeers. Perhaps a personal guard.

Some say she had magical abilities as well and left before she could be outted.

Some say she had familial duties she had to attend to and was no longer able to train to be a musketeer.

Nene is a mystery to everyone that has yet to be solved.

April Fools Year 1.1: Shuffle Units

TL;DR: For April Fools, Miku brought us to explore an alternate timeline for a day. All the characters are the same ones we know and love; however, if their stories had shifted just slightly....

Aoharu/friends consists of Ichika, Saki, Ena, and Airi. They are a band who want to enjoy youth together. Ichika plays guitar, Saki synthesizer, Ena drums, and Airi bass.

YUME YUME JUMP! consists of Kanade, An, Shizuku, and Shiho. They are a recently-formed trial idol unit with the goal of spreading hope through music.

Fantasista SQUAD consists of Akito, Toya, Tsukasa, and Rui. They pair up as street performers with the goal of putting on incredible performances in back alleys.

Happiness Sentai SunnySunny☆Wonder! consists of Emu, Haruka, Mafuyu, and Kohane. They work together to put on a play at the Wonder Stage for a class project.

Fellow Hobbyists on Days Off. consists of Mizuki, Honami, Nene, and Minori. They are a Nightcord circle who bond over having passionate interests.

Aoharu/friends Cover: Aoku Kakero! (feat. Hatsune Miku)

Saki wants to enjoy her adolescence by starting a band. She invited Ichika, who wants to cover Miku songs, and Airi, the idol who inspired her in the hospital, to join. Airi also invited Ena, an old friend and Kamiyama night school student.

The band all visit Phoenix Wonderland together. Saki wants to get their photo taken, but Ena's hesitant. Airi convinces her to join, since neither of them can deny Ichika and Saki's eagerness.

The group discuss Airi's strictness during band rehearsal. They decide to come up with incentives for completing all their practice goals. Ichika wants to go to a Miku concert, Saki wants to go hiking, and Ena wants to crash one of Akito's performances.

YUME YUME JUMP! Cover: Happy Synthesizer

The members all greet each other for the first time. Shizuku formed the group with Kanade, who was pushed into it to save others with her music in new ways, Shiho, a temporary member who wants experience as a professional musician, and An, who's excited for a challenge.

Kanade quickly becomes exhausted during practices. An jokingly suggests she tries a power suit the strange guy at her school built. Shiho points out shortcuts like that defeat the point of spreading hope. They decide to improve Kanade's stamina by running with her every morning, much to her dismay.

Toya had convinced Akito to join since Tsukasa and Rui could teach them about performance. Akito agrees if they can call their group something other than "Pegasus Dogs".

They decided on "Fantasista SQUAD" after the soccer and acting term for a skilled player. Tsukasa declares their group ready to be known in backstreets all around the world. Akito does not know what that means.

Akito and Toya watch Rui direct Tsukasa through a dance. They admire his attention to detail and knack for performance. Rui finally notices them and begins directing them, too. Toya takes the vague directions earnestly. Akito is still confused.

Happiness Sentai SunnySunny☆Wonder! Cover: Positive Dance Time (feat. Kagamine Rin)

The four members of the class project introduce themselves. Mafuyu was assigned leader due to being the oldest. Haruka joined since she liked the theme of "making people smile", and Kohane is a big fan of Phoenix Wonderland. Emu is scared of Mafuyu. They begin planning their show.

Emu plays a character named "Sunny Sunny Happy Emu", Mafuyu "Goodness Smile Mafuyu", Haruka "Stoic Challenger Haruka" and Kohane "Makeover Beast Kohane", the four members of "Happiness Sentai SunnySunny☆Wonder!". Mafuyu asks why Emu gave her the trait of "unshakable", but Emu's too scared to admit it's because she can't make Mafuyu smile for real. Kohane guesses it's because she's a reliable leader.

Haruka asks who the villain of the play will be. Mafuyu suggests playing that role, "demonstrating" a cold, unfeeling character, "Darkness Smile Mafuyu". Emu hesitates since she wants everyone, including Mafuyu, to smile, so Haruka suggests having it be a secret agent type character they eventually befriend.

The group have their first offline meeting. Mizuki introduces themself as the founder and lover of cute things and anime. Nene explains her fondness for musicals and competitive games. Minori is a fan of former idol Haruka. Finally, Honami loves walking her dog, gardening, and apple pies.

At their second offline meeting, the four discuss how nice it is to have people who listen to them ramble about their hobbies. Mizuki and Nene find it especially nice since they don't go to school often and have social anxiety, respectively. Honami and Minori are now dog walking buddies, too.

The group discuss Happiness Sentai SunnySunny☆Wonder!'s performance. Mizuki liked the story and Nene the music. Minori was so starstruck seeing Haruka in person that she stopped paying attention to her surroundings. After snapping her back to reality, they all decide to go eat a snack and discuss more.

Could you explain how the new gacha works? It seems to include old lims but can you pick which are rate up?

Sorry for the late reply on this, basically no information on the gacha was given until today.

The Recollection Fes gacha is indeed free but you can also use paid crystals, and pity system works the exact same as regular gacha, with the exception that it extends to 200, so you need 400 regular pulls for the highest pity bonus.

You also get to select some cards, like dream pick or select list gachas. They're not guaranteed to be obtained, but they come into play on the pity system... At 300 and 400 pulls.

You do get rewards for every 10 bonus on the pity system, which is better than regular gacha. Aside from bonus 50/100/150/200, you will get 50 wish pieces for every 10 gacha bonus. On 50 bonus (100 regular pulls) you get a permanent 4* you do not already have. On 100 bonus (200 regular pulls) you will get an unobtained limited or colofes 4*, on 150 bonus you get a selected permanent 4*, and on 200 bonus you get a selected limited or colofes 4*. Limited cards are not only guaranteed by pity though, and are in the gacha pool normally, it's just random as to what cards if any you get, like any other gacha.

The cards that will be available are perm cards from a year or more before this gacha, colofes cards from 2 or more years before this gacha, and limited cards that have been rerun twice or more over 3 months before this gacha. No birthday, collab or WLE cards. I.e:

Anyways, for Empty!MMJ!, Minori decided, after a lifetime of failures, to find a new method of spreading hope to people: psychology.

Advertising her assistance on her own official website (under the name MinoRinRin, she ended up getting the attention of three fellow failed idols: detrimental perfectionist Haruka Kiritani (aka. Challenger), fiery ex-TV host Airi Momoi (aka. FAiri), and stiff yet motherly ex-model Shizuku Hinomori (aka. Silence).

Ignoring her own self-interest, Minori is determined to help the three girls in any way that she can, and their collective desires to succeed and push past the dark clouds blocking their vision. allowed them to create a SEKAI, which resembles a greyscale dollhouse, with cracked mirrors and remnants of dolls.

Miku is an overly-ambitious and helpful figure who wants nothing more than to improve people (but has a tendency to roughhouse), Rin is a klutzy girl who looks up to Miku and wants to do what she does (yet often comes short, frustrating herself), Meiko is a perpetual worrywart who worries about every step she takes, Luka is very stoic and blunt about what would help the group, Len is an easily-angered and harsh person who serves a similar role to Luka, and Kaito is a smiley trickster figure who regularly pops up and disappears.

On the other hand, School!WxS started from Emu Otori's feelings and yearning for something interesting to fill her life (possible depression), and went through all the clubs in Kamiyama to find a club, only to lose interest really quickly.

One day, while walking down the street, a robotic white rabbit, led her to the basement of eccentric luthier Rui Kamishiro and his neighbor/childhood friend Nene Kusanagi. While Nene expresses her irritation at having the eccentric girl barge in, Rui accommodated the pinkette, showing off his many creations. A pink guitar caught Emu's eye, and one strum was enough to ignite her passion for music. She then recruited Rui (bassist) and Nene (drummer), and decided to drag in instant first friend Tsukasa Tenma (pianist), convincing him to give the piano another try (after an incident led him to quit, in order to not burden others).

The School SEKAI itself has streamers and other decorations, looking like a classroom holding a pizza party.

Miku is an energetic guitarist driven by her emotions (exactly like Emu), Luka is a selfish and fickle bassist driven by her own desires, Meiko is an outgoing and blunt drummer who nonetheless appreciates everybody, Rin is a dependable older sister figure who serves as the keyboardist, Kaito is an eccentric and air-headed guitarist who serves as everybody's expert on musical equipment, and Len is a timid and hesitant boy who looks up to the other band members.

so, i started thinking (which is already a dangerous task for me to do at any given time), and it lead to me asking a question: "Why is WxS Kaito in Solid Heart?" and it sent me down such a deep rabbit hole of realisation that i'm going to word vomit everything into this post.

so first, for the unitiated: during the second april fool's day event, the cast of project sekai was stuffed into a single school: the All Music Mikudemy (or just mikudemy from here forward), and organised into four classes, with one from each unit entering each class. cautious heart, with honami, haruka, kohane, tsukasa, and mafuyu; passion heart, with saki, minori, an, rui, and mizuki; solid heart, with shiho, airi, akito, nene, and ena; and pure heart, with ichika, shizuku, toya, emu, and kanade. but one additional part of it is that the virtual singers also got shuffled into these groups, with one from each sekai (two from vbs) entering the four classes: 25ji miku in pure heart, mmj rin in passion heart, vbs len in passion heart, l/n luka in cautious heart, vbs meiko in cautious heart, and wxs kaito in solid heart.

we know it's these specific versions of the virtual singers because of minor design details shown through their live2d models and the way they behave (or, for miku, it's really obvious she's from the empty sekai). rin having the stage sekai ribbon specificially, len wearing the uniform like he does his street sekai jacket, luka's sweater having the same blue accents and her wearing the same locket, meiko wearing the same earrings she does in the street sekai and using the kamiyama uniform's tie, and kaito having the same mustache pin he wears on his wonderland sekai uniform. there's also the fact these six are considered the "initial" virtual singers of each group and were part of the cast of the 2.5 anni virtual singer event. which was probably what decided who would be part of the mikudemy in the first place.

all of this established, i again ask the question at the core of this: Why is WxS Kaito in Solid Heart? the way he behaves aligns far more with the vibes of cautious heart, especially with the fact he's the initial virtual singer of tsukasa's sekai. his controlled, older brother air (if emu's "kaito onii-san" says anything) matches the way tsukasa feels and behaves regarding saki, that's certainly a large part of what formed kaito into the sekai in the first place. he's the leader of the virtual singer theatre troupe, he handles most of the directing for their shows, he functions as the "straight man" to the comedic natures of the wonderland sekai cast. everything kaito is aligns with cautious heart, not solid heart. so Why?

the short, and probably real answer if we assume colopale didn't put a ton of thought into an april fool's event, is that they otherwise wouldn't have a virtual singer for solid heart. none of the chosen cast fits the description of solid heart, most of them significantly worse than kaito does at first glance, and cautious heart already has two of the major "mentor" virtual singers in l/n luka and vbs meiko. the closest to a solid heart rep beyond what they already have would probably be vbs len, but i definitely agree that he's better fit for passion heart, for reasons i'll get into later as i answer the big question (including but not limited to: keeping len with rin).

but i think there's an actual reason behind kaito's solid heart placement, something i discovered by looking through the other virtual singers and why they fit the classes they've been assigned.

first, let's look at luka, meiko, and cautious heart as a whole, since i already have a short (by my standards) description of what makes cautious heart cautious heart on my blog as is, it's just more focused on why tsukasa's in it in particular rather than about the class as a whole. cautious heart is, by description, a grouping of natural leaders that handle those around them with great care and kindness, often to a point it begins to reflect poorly on their mental health (look at honami and mafuyu). all of them come from some level of "talent"—haruka is regarded as a perfect idol, kohane has a natural gift for singing, mafuyu's... entire story—but where this separates from pure heart, who carry the same trait, is the way this impacts their lives, starting in some way negatively. as their talent brings with it expectation, either from themselves (tsukasa and mafuyu) or the world around them (everyone else), and this expectation is something that weighs heavily on these characters. a massive central part of all of their themes is this expectation, the impacts it left in their lives, and how they move forward with this expectation. some of them leave it behind them (mafuyu), some of them chase with the dream of overcoming it (kohane and tsukasa), and some of them completely redefine what these expectations mean (honami and haruka).

if we look at l/n luka and vbs meiko, we can immediately see a couple throughlines to this theming: namely the factor of talent and leadership. luka is the senpai of the school sekai, having knowledge of all four leo/need instruments to a degree that she can reliably teach the members of the band how to improve throughout their entire story, and being the only one to genuinely test shiho's mastery of the bass earlier in the story. the role luka plays in the stories of leo/need's members matches the role honami plays in the relationships of the band, sharing that same unending drive to care and support the others in the group, something especially shown through her roles in Stella After the Rain and Live with Memories. vbs meiko is very much the same way for the street sekai, being the owner and bartender of crase cafe and holding a mentor role for the other virtual singers and members of vivid bad squad. she doesn't step in to assist with improving their singing until vbs get noticeably better, roughly halfway into their journey to surpass rad weekend, because not only does it provide opportunities for the other virtual singers to provide their input, but her teachings exist on a level above what the others offer at first.

both school sekai luka and street sekai meiko stand on a level beyond the other virtual singers in their sekai, and choose to offer their wisdom akin to a parent or a teacher rather than peer-to-peer like many of the other relationships with the virtual singers tend to be. they are leaders within their sekai, even looked to as such by those that made the sekai they're part of. perfect fits for cautious heart.

then there's rin and len. the former is really easy to assign to passion heart; stage sekai rin takes most after minori, if not clear by her being the least experienced of the six and her role in Hear Me! Hopeful Stage and Connected by Painful Hope (performing two different roles for minori and haruka respectively but they're both parallels to minori's own role in the idol group; rin's empathy and understanding for minori's struggle and the extra perspective she gives to haruka that she otherwise wouldn't have considered). everything about mmj rin connects back to minori in some way, and as a passion heart student herself, it was a given that stage sekai rin would be assigned the same class.

but len approaches passion heart from a completely different direction, something that adds a new perspective to the class and their stories. because on the surface, len would be better fit for solid heart: his relationship with akito is one of the core dynamics of the street sekai, he's constantly in competition with street sekai rin, and even to some degree with miku (mirroring the early dynamics between akito and an), and he played a major role in akito's chapter of BREAK DOWN THE WALL. most of the evidence points toward solid heart vbs len, but i believe the part that puts him in passion heart is the fact rin is a given to go there. because rin and len are a pair. they share a number, they're both kagamines, and across every sekai they have a special relationship that works as a motivator for at least one member of the sekai. and out of every group, it's vivid bad squad that puts the most emphasis on the importance of partnership. it's a massively central and unendingly important aspect of its story and the growth of its characters.

street sekai len takes this pairing of rin and len to an extra level, as their relationship is the example of vivid bad squad's partner dynamic. every time conflict arises between the two, it's ultimately born from wanting to be a better partner for the other; something that's directly paralleled across both the bad dogs and the vivids. entire plot points are built from the importance of this dynamic, the fact they are the most important people in each other's lives (not even in a shipping sense, this is just direct storytelling; to deny that fact is to deny the essence of the group itself), and that manifests itself into the dynamic of rin and len. a pair of virtual singers whose relationship transcends sekai. no matter the circumstance, no matter the personality they're given, they are partners.

and when you look at passion heart through this perspective, you can immediately see a pattern: every member of passion heart strives to embody a certain light they were given. saki with tsukasa, minori with haruka, an with nagi, rui with tom gray, mizuki with yuuki. and, within their own groups, their stories develop their characters through their relationships with others, having entire events around a particular, vitally important person: saki's Parallel Harmonies with ichika, minori's entire dynamic with haruka, an's entire arc from Bout for Beside You to Whip the Wimp Girl!!, rui's relationship with tsukasa after the main story, and mizuki's My Footprints, Your Destination and Our Escape For Survival for ena and mafuyu respectively.

passion heart is built around its relationships, the importance other people play in their lives and growth. to not include the inseparable pair of rin and len in that class would simply be a mistake.

this brings us back around to kaito and solid heart. what about wonderland sekai kaito connects him to the themes of solid heart? well, if school luka and street meiko are cautious heart students at the ends of their journeys, and street len is a new perspective on the meaning of passion heart, i think wonderland kaito is meant to be both of these things. because kaito is the solid heart connection to cautious heart, a representation of what they're capable of by embodying a class solid heart often envies.

wonderland kaito pulls a lot from tsukasa's character (obviously so, as a manifestation of his emotions), and tsukasa's story, despite himself being cautious heart, reflects the themes of solid heart. specifically the events On the Stage of Dazzling Light and Towards the Phoenix at the Sky's Edge. stories about tsukasa's struggle to perform as the actor he wants to be, the latter specifically putting him in a position of intense longing for a goal he feels is lifetimes away from him. yes, both of these are for the sake of the character he's playing, but that reflects perfectly in the stories of solid heart, who put their all into their work to achieve the goals they've set out for themselves, and will put themselves through the most difficult climbs just to reach the top of the cliffside. if the way his story presents itself wasn't better fit for cautious heart, and nene wasn't already a perfect solid heart student, tsukasa would be solid heart. and kaito, carrying such a major piece of tsukasa: his dedication to his craft, is the solid heart within tsukasa. the drive to grow, the will to keep pushing no matter the challenge, the willingness to try anything that might lead to success, even if they get hurt in the process. yes, he acts more like cautious heart, but that's the point.

shiho has always been an odd one when it comes to solid heart's themes. yes, they act like a member of solid heart (all the way down to the common mischaracterisation of them being an asshole, a universal trait of solid heart characters), but their story has always worked in contrast to the rest of solid heart. solid heart characters come from a position of inferiority, feeling the need to overcompensate and push themselves to their limits in order to "keep up" with the rest of their groups' capabilities. shiho has never had this struggle; they've always been skilled, the most experienced member of the band. shiho has an entire event, Don't Lose Faith!, that has ichika confront them about the fact they hold back to not outshine the other band members, so they don't glow too bright and take the glory for themselves. it's the opposite of what solid heart has always needed to do. because shiho, like kaito represents, is already there. their drive was uninhibited by their environment, save for the struggle to find a band they can participate in. their actual ability as a musician has never been hampered by the world, while the rest of solid heart run off the belief they're worse than their group because that's what the world has told them, directly or indirectly. shiho is the sunlight that solid heart is capable of achieving.

so wonderland kaito, much like shiho represents, is an embodiment of what solid heart can do with their determination to grow despite the challenges. because they look up to the cautious heart students, they're envious of their skills and talents. but kaito is the proof that they can be that.

that, i think, is why kaito is solid heart. the virtual singers are representations of these characters' feelings and aspirations, and wonderland kaito serves as an embodiment of the goals of solid heart. their mission to be like the cautious heart students that seem to have everything together. kaito shows them that it's possible by being like cautious heart but still solid heart.

I've been wondering about the warriors au, how do the clans work? are they all split into the canon 4/5 clans, or is it custom clans? or is it just their units, or like 1 big clan? or am I thinking too deeply into this

i have three clans: ripplingclan, bellowclan, and whisperclan. they're seperated moreso by personality and whatever makes sense in terms of character relations. i haven't figured out where EVERYONE lives.. i'll get around to that eventually..

icestar (kaito) is the leader of bellowclan with ryedash (rin) as his deputy. tunastar (luka) is the leader of ripplingclan with songsight (miku) as her deputy. redstar (meiko) is the leader of whisperclan with lemonstop (len) as her deputy.

soarshine (tsukasa) and doveskip (emu) are from bellowclan, mothtide (nene) is from ripplingclan, and echobloom (rui) is from whisperclan!

TBHK SPOILERS AHEAD

so in my mikudemy ghost au, it's not NECESSARY to read tbhk which is different compared to it's origins

ORIGINALLY, it was going to be called "Toilet-Bound Saki-chan!" or "Toilet-Bound Tenma-chan!" And it would necessarily be the plot of tbhk, except that Honami helps clean the bathrooms free of charge meanwhile Shiho is the youngest exorcist of the Hinomori clan (inspired by Kou).

The giant thing is that Ichika, Shiho, and Honami were all childhood friends, but BIG something happened (idk what) and they broke up. Ichika summons "Tenma-chan" to help her regain her friends and it follows the similar shenanigans of tbhk.

I was really fond of this because the Broadcasting Club would've been Wonderlands×Showtime with Nene being inspired by Sakura, Rui being inspired by Natsuhiko, and Tsukasa would fundamentally be Tsukasa Yugi. Emu would be this girl who decided to join them all she'd have Tsukasa Yugi's more hyper personality, but Kasa (tenma) would be a lot more deranged.

I had this whole other subplot too where Ena would be like Shijima-san of the art room (Shinonome-san of the artroom) except she ACTUALLY offed herself. Akito would be depressed™. Minori would be basically Akane (the clock keepers would be Minori, Rin, and Miku). Haruka would be like Aoi and give Ichika all these rumors (which is also why Minori loves her so much she's Aoi and Minori is Akane except she'd be a lot less violent ig).

I was unsure of whether to make Luka or MEIKO Tsuchigomori (KAITO didn't fit the bill for me for some reason) Len was MOST LIKELY gonna be Mitsuba, however I also wanted to make Mizuki Mistuba at times (hehe more mizurui /p)

It's just really fun to see how my au has changed DRASTICALLY from being tbhk lore heavy, to having its own unique world and lore.
