Let’s talk about Warriors and Wild
This was another “weird” pairing that came out of the latest update.
Tumblr media
You’d think that the two with no dungeon experience should each be paired with someone more experienced, right? Well, Warriors isn’t really thinking about that. He has a different motive for choosing Wild to team up with, and no, it’s not because he’s “mad” at him. The reason actually reveals a lot about both of their characters, and displays a great deal of character growth on Warriors' part specifically.
Deep dive under the cut!
Okay first off, let’s get something out of the way. Just because Warriors and Wild have no traditional dungeon experience, that doesn’t make them ill-equipped. Warriors has tons of combat experience and is demonstrably very intelligent. And Wild? Sure he didn’t have traditional dungeons in BotW, but you know what he did have? Puzzles. A TON of puzzles. That guy can do puzzles in his sleep. I highly doubt that he’s gonna have trouble with dungeon puzzles once he figures out how to approach them (which won’t take long).
All right, now that we have that cleared up, moving on!
From the very beginning, Wars holds great respect for Wild:
Tumblr media
Because at the start of the adventure, Warriors doesn't realize just how different he is from the others. He gets put with a bunch of guys who share his name and his spirit, so of course he thinks his experience isn’t unique. They’re all just like him, right?
Tumblr media
Okay, uh, maybe not? But they still can’t be that different, Warriors thinks. Sky is also a knight, and he acts exactly the way Warriors expects a knight to act.
He catches onto plans immediately:
Tumblr media
And follows through flawlessly:
Tumblr media
It’s not about authority and Sky’s ability to follow orders. It’s about the fact that Sky is on the same page. He went to military school. He has extensive training. He knows what to do and when, with barely any prompting, because he’s been taught to think the same way Warriors thinks. Warriors and Sky work together perfectly because of this:
Tumblr media
But with Wild? Warriors is expecting the exact same thing with Wild, a fellow knight, but what he gets from the Champion is far from what he gets with Sky. This is very unexpected for Warriors. He gives what he thinks is a clear directive:
Tumblr media
“Clear out the rest” to Warriors and Sky means “get rid of all the little guys so we can focus on the big guy.” Solid strategy. But Wild does not interpret this the same way, because he does not remember his military training and therefore any of the strategy he was taught. “Clear out the rest” just means get rid of everyone to him. And he decides to eliminate the biggest threat first. It’s important to note here that he’s not “defying orders” because his emotions are getting the better of him, or even because he thinks he shouldn't have been given orders. The way he sees it, he is following orders. Warriors said “clear out the rest.” And that’s what Wild’s helping to do. But then afterwards? Warriors is angry!
Tumblr media
The plan? What plan? There was no plan! The goal was just to get rid of everyone! Why does it matter if Wild took out the big guy before the little guys?
It’s at this point that Wild realizes he’s done something wrong, but he doesn’t know what he’s done wrong. (Any other neurodivergent folks here? If so, yeah, you know how this feels. I know I do.)
It’s clear through subsequent interactions that Wild genuinely does not understand what the problem is:
Tumblr media
He thought he made the right move, but others don’t seem to think so. He’s already emotional, and this is just adding more fuel to the fire. He snaps, starts a fight with Four, and runs off still feeling confused.
Meanwhile, Warriors is also confused. Why didn’t Wild act the way Warriors thought he would? He’s a knight, right? Why did he do what he did, and how did he not understand that his choice of strategy was incorrect after?
And it’s not just Wild that Warriors failed to read correctly; the others are clashing with him too. Case in point, Twilight’s refusal to hang back after being injured:
Tumblr media
In the aftermath of the battle, it’s at this point that Warriors makes a realization: he’s the one who made a mistake. He had preconceived expectations of people, and that ended up majorly backfiring on him.
Tumblr media
Warriors knows that he can't be a good teammate - and a good leader - if he doesn't understand where his companions are coming from. Again, it's not about authority, it's about being on the same page. Ever since, he has been trying to seek better understanding. Maybe Wild doesn't feel comfortable taking orders from Warriors, and only listens to those he knows well?
Tumblr media
But Twilight said, "No he doesn't." Huh. Okay. Well, maybe Warriors can try to get inside Wild's head? Let's try some bantering! These guys love to banter!
Tumblr media
Oops. Fumble. That didn't go well. But hey, at least Wild seems to have figured out what he did wrong!
Tumblr media
That's a step in the right direction! Okay, they're getting somewhere, Warriors thinks.
But Wild is really down on himself. He now realizes that he misinterpreted a directive that he should have understood. And thinks that Warriors thinks he's stupid, and hates him. (Again, where my neurodivergent peeps at? Yeah. That feeling.)
Meanwhile, things are becoming clearer to Warriors. Not only does he realize that he shouldn't have viewed his teammates through his own preconceived notions, but for the first time, he also realizes just how different his experience was from everyone else's:
Tumblr media
He realizes he's got a LOT of learning to do. His discordance with Wild is proof of that. But Wild has never been in a dungeon either. Maybe this is their chance to connect? Warriors tries once again to get inside Wild's head. Maybe he can try to understand why Wild isn't approaching this dungeon the way Warriors would:
Tumblr media
Aaaaand Wild froze up. Dang it. Warriors isn't getting anything. He really needs to figure out what's going wrong here so they can work together. It's for both of their benefit, and the group's benefit as a whole. They need to get on the same page so that they can not only fight together, but be good friends to each other. And when the opportunity arises to team up one-on-one, Warriors jumps at it! This is the perfect opportunity, he thinks!
But right now? Wild doesn't realize that. He thinks that Warriors is mad at him. Warriors is NOT mad at him. Warriors is trying to learn, to better himself, and to forge a connection.
And I believe that even though it's been a bumpy road, we're going to see some amazing growth between Warriors and Wild in the future.

Guys wait... I think I just figured out something very important about this panel.
Tumblr media
Y'all remember how protective Twi is of his village kiddos?
youtube
Yeah, threatening Twi's village kids is like threatening Sky's Zelda. If you're smart, you don't. Because their respective Links will hunt you down and murder you in protective rage.
Now then... what, exactly, did Wild do, again?
Tumblr media
Oh. That's right.
Tumblr media
He hunted down Dink and tried to murder him in a protective rage.
And Twilight knows that.
Tumblr media
Prior to all this, Twilight was more serious and stern with Wild, attempting to model Time, which Wild never jived with.
Tumblr media
But now Twilight understands where Wild is coming from. Wild doesn't view Twilight as a mentor: he views Twilight as a friend.
As a brother. As family.
Tumblr media
Wild has lost so much that he is murderously protective of anyone he has left. And now Twilight sees that. Viscerally, he understands what it means to go into a blind rage because that person you just hurt is mine and I will not allow it. He knows that because he's been there. And now, he knows that that's how Wild sees him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And so now they can be brothers.

i don’t know if this is something Jojo is doing on purpose, or if it was an intentional detail but i grabbed and ran away with it, or if I’ve just completely read far to into things and entered the realm of just making shit up, but Warriors and his little crooked smile are so GODDAMN important to me and I am shaking him like a squeak toy (gently)
(big yap/analysis under the cut)
disclaimer, i just have a lot of thoughts, probably way too many thoughts, and 97% of them are about Wars so I might be insane, and what you’re about to read provided you’ve stuck around so far might be the equivalent of your high school english teacher yelling with tears in their eyes about how the curtains were blue to “symbolize her sadness”. also my apologies for weird spelling mistakes or oddly misspelled words, i am dyslexic 💔 but with that being said:
Warriors to me comes off as someone who’s constantly acting larger than life. He masks a LOT in front of the chain, he acts overdramatic and a bit ridiculous on purpose, and to an extent he just is a bit ridiculous, but his reactions to things are sometimes blow way out of proportion or are just larger than life in a comedic way where it just seems like he’s doing it intentionally. He comes across as a very extroverted, talkative person, and he seems like he’d honestly be a bit loud too (whether that’s who is REALLY is or what he’s REALLY like is a yap for another post). His (physical) image and the way his character/personality is perceived by others both seem like things that are not his CORE values or the things that mean the most to him, but they do seem to be at least a LITTLE bit important to him just based on how he presents himself and the way he acts. And to an extent, the whole thing with him caring so much about his looks is canon in LU, with that one sketch of him and Legend where he’s looking at his eye in a reflection of a shield and Legend says “alright break it up you two” being the first thing that comes to mind (which is in the post “Mirror Shield”, click the name for the link)
To me, from what I’ve seen and from my perspective, there are very few times we see an actual genuine smile from Warriors, and when we do it tends to be in moments where he’s not in the spotlight, he’s not trying to command the center of attention, and/or the focus is NOT on him. It tends to be moments where he just seems genuinely happy or at peace, and those seem pretty rare. He smiles a LOT, but the majority of his smiles seem big and flashy and performative, and not that that means he’s not happy AT ALL in any of those moments, but those smiles seem a lot more controlled and closely managed because he’s aware of the attention on him and therefore thinking about how he’s perceived. (I’ve made some posts in the past and I’ll probably make others in the future about how I think Warriors puts on this “Captain” or “Hero of Hyrule” persona because of how an entire war was started because a sorceress found him beautiful, and how he feels like him being just him isn’t really good enough for that and how he feels like he needs to fit in and look/act/seem like the legendary heroes he’s being compared to. He’s created this idea of what he COULD be and that’s what he presents to others, fake it till you make it and all that, but thats another yap for another day)
However there are these little moments where we see him smile, and the same one side of his mouth is pretty consistently always just a little bit higher no matter which way his head is facing (here’s a few examples):
Tumblr media
@/linkeduniverse, from the 2023 monthly art, “January- Cold Sunrise”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@/linkeduniverse, both from “Dawn pt. 2”
And the thing that really started this whole headcanon of mine that his REAL smile is crooked was this specific part of Dawn pt. 2 where Warriors sees that Twilight is gonna be find for the first time after most likely worrying about him and being up all night:
Tumblr media
That middle panel, to me at least, is probably the most genuine expression of a positive emotion we’ve seen from him this entire time. No one’s focus is on him, no one’s really looking at him, he doesn’t have the pressure of being the center of attention on him, and honestly even if that WERE the case, the genuine relief that hit him once he was Twilight was gonna be okay probably would’ve been enough to get a genuine smile out of him anyways. But the second he walks into the room officially, he kinda, for lack of a better way to put it, announces his presence and starts “acting” again (also from Dawn pt 2):
Tumblr media
And while that same one side of his mouth does seem a bit higher and not very straight, it’s definitely more even than it was just five seconds previously
Now, acknowledging there is an art style, and that I also just might be insane, but Warriors’s smiles for the most part (when they seem controlled) appear to be a Lot straighter and more even to me than when it’s a more genuine moment and he doesn’t seem like he’s “acting” so much (and just a note: it certainly isn’t EVERY time, but in general, in moments like these his smile seems consistently straighter unless he’s just flat out smirking. and im not saying it’s PERFECTLY straight either, just noticeably more even). When he’s being more dramatic or intentionally obnoxious or the attention is on him, it really does feel like his smile is more controlled: here are just a few examples, obviously this isn’t every single time he’s smiled in all of LU
Tumblr media
@/linkeduniverse, from “Swords”
Tumblr media
@/linkeduniverse, from “Shady Escape pt 2”
Tumblr media
@/linkeduniverse, from “Divine Dark Reflections pt. 8”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@/linkeduniverse, both from “Magic Sword”
am i looking too far into a little thing? probably. am i insane? yeah. but i just really love the idea that when Warriors is truly, genuinely happy, the part of himself that he tries to hide, the sweet and caring person he hides underneath all the dramatics, that true self he’s probably kept hidden away since the start of the war who’s been buried under insecurity and hidden because of the fear that who he is just isnt ENOUGH peaks through, and that person comes out through his happiness in the form of his smile. and yeah it does probably mean nothing and Jojo might not have done any of this on purpose, but i’m crazy, and Warriors’s crooked little smile is so so important to me *insert image of a guy crying face down on the floor because unfortunately i’ve hit the image limit*

And now, the final results of the Ranking tag game!
1st: Legend. To the surprise of absolutely no one, it's always been obvious he's one of the fandom's favorites.
2nd: Warriors. Pleasantly surprised by this one. He unfortunately seems to have a reputation where a large part of the fandom perceived him as the least liked, which is just not true. In response to a post about just that thing, I made this reply:
Tumblr media
And guess what? That's exactly what happened. His most voted for rank was 3, with his final overall rank coming in at 2. Okay, rant over.
2nd: Wind. No, not a typo, Wind and Wars tied for second place. People really love the spunky little sailor.
3rd: Four. From what I can tell, he is simultaneously loved and hated for his complexity and people's inability to grasp his personality. It seems the love overcame the hate though, landing him in the top 3.
4th: Time. Overall his votes averaged middle of the road.
5th: Sky. My personal favorite, but it seems his average likeability is a bit lower for the rest of the fandom.
6th: Twilight. Had a large cluster of both high and low votes, but ended up averaging on the lower end overall.
7th: Hyrule. Had the most overall neutral votes. That, combined with a number of lower rankings from people who felt they couldn't connect with him, landed him on overall low rank.
8th: Wild. To my shock, Wild, despite how popular BotW and its fandom is, came in dead last. Seems like a lot take issue with his characterization, either being too angsty, which is fair, or infantising him because of his memory issues, which is also fair.
Now, for those who wish to see my process here, I've included it under the cut.
Tumblr media
To explain this little chart here, I need to show you this:
Tumblr media
I went through all the responses to the game, and put the rankings in a spreadsheet. There was a lot more rows than this, this is just what would fit in the screenshot.
Final score: Each rank vote was added up, to get that Link's total 'score'. Thus, the highest overall ranking ones would have the lowest score.
Final Rank (Based on score): Lower score= higher ranking
Most Voted Rank: Mostly irrelevant, I just thought it would be fun to see what rank got voted on the most for each particular Link. Number on left is voted rank, number in parenthesis is the number of times it was voted

Despite how obviously chaotic the other boys are I think that two things are actively disadvantaging and maybe even endangering Time rn
1) his worry for Twilight’s welfare and that of the others
2) his penchant for distancing himself from others.
He’s healed a lot from his adventures and the trauma of them thanks to time (heh) and Malon’s kindness, patience, and unconditional love. HOWEVER the things we endure remain with us even if they do not hurt quite so badly anymore (especially when they occur in such drastic ways during such formative years). Somewhere inside (perhaps not so deep now) is that terrified little boy who won’t allow himself to trust or love again. Who doesn’t want to get too close cause “nothing ever lasts”
Tumblr media
He’s used to going it alone. He’s spent longer being solo than he has being married or teamed up with the other Links. His approach to tackling dungeons — whether chaotic or organized or somewhere in between — has always been the same.
Alone.
He’s the one who plummets down endless abyss.
He’s the one who bleeds and breaks and gets lost.
He’s the one who figures it out in the end.
And that’s okay. Because it’s lonely. It’s scary. But it’s only him who is in danger. And he can deal with that.
Tumblr media
“You laugh because you know it’s true”
“You laugh because when it’s you who drags yourself home half-dead, it’s ok, it’s under control, but when it’s one of our boys…”
Tumblr media
When it’s only him he doesn’t have to worry so much. He’s got a certain degree of control (real or imagined). And that is what he’s grappling for right now. Control to change a terrible fate he still sees looming. Control to keep his boys from suffering the way he has.
But now, with this last update, he realizes he doesn’t have it.
Tumblr media
And while his expression here makes me laugh, it also saddens me. Four’s right and he knows it, he’s trying to resign himself to it.
Them remaining together — remaining with him, under his watchful eye — will end in their deaths at this point. It’s just not working.
He’s virtually powerless to keep them all safe. He’s the Hero of Time and he’s virtually powerless.
And that might just break him. Because the fear is still there. The fear that something will happen to one of his boys and he should’ve been there. He should’ve been there to stop it.
But he wasn’t.
Like he wasn’t there to protect the others from the Iron Knuckle
Tumblr media
And that will consume him, weaken him. Until the Shadow can exploit it

Okay, so a big observation I've made about Four that really makes me enjoy his character more: unlike most of the others, who hide their abilities either out of distrust, disinterest, or shame, Four hides his for the drama.
Look at the look on his face when people ask about the Four Sword.
Tumblr media
Like, clearly he's leery of surprise because of it, but he isn't sorry for having it, I don't think, at least not for the most part. That boy is proud of it. He doesn't tell them what it can do because he'd rather show them what it can do.
I mean, every time someone finds out about his secret he's just all :3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This boy may not have asked for the abilities he got but he sure does love to show them off when he gest the chance, and I honestly love that for him. It's about time these boys were proud of what they could accomplish, they deserve it.
(It also explains why he can keep his own secrets so well when he is garbage at keeping other's secrets - it's because he wants to be dramatic and surprise them LOL)
This update has definitely made me appreciate Four more <3

Deep Shadows Analysis
all pictures belong to @/linkeduniverse
“I grew up in these woods.” The first sentence ever spoken in LU and a very strong opening. Time is in the lead here. It makes sense; not only is he their de facto leader, but he knows this terrain best. Warriors speaks next, continuing where Time left off. He says that they’re lost. This sets up the dynamic these two have and their role in the chain of command, for lack of a better word, very nicely. The last panel of the first page has Time reacting to something the audience can’t see yet, enticing them to continue reading.
Tumblr media
He then gets absolutely bodied by this moblin. These guys are a HUGE pain to fight in Ocarina of Time, they really do come out of nowhere to hit you like a heckin freight train and that power and alarm is captured wonderfully here.
The monster gets snagged by Twilight’s clawshot and we get this really lovely reveal of all the other Links standing ready to fight, emphasizing how none of them are alone anymore. They’re a team! This is also the first time we see all of them together in the comic (minus Time, who is still on the ground rip)
Tumblr media
Legend’s got his bow drawn, and he's the first one to attack. His arrows embed into the moblin’s forearm while Hyrule sneaks around to slash at its thigh. It manages to increase the slack on the chain, freeing up its movement enough to counterattack, but the traveler leans back out of the way. By this point Wild and Warriors have circled around to flank the monster.
But Sky? He rushes to the old man’s side, who concerningly still hasn’t gotten up, to check on him. Sky is consistently one of the first to react whenever someone gets hurt or needs help during battle and I love that this trait of his (probably from his training as a knight on Skyloft) is already established within the very first few pages of the comic!
Tumblr media
Time waves him off, and together they watch as Warriors stabs the moblin in the back… only for it to turn around, wretching the captain’s sword out of his hands, and smack the side of his face (right on the eye it looks like!) so hard he goes down for the rest of the fight. Ouch. This is definitely not the normal difficulty level for a monster like this.
Legend, power gloves equipped, works with Twilight to tighten the clawshot’s chain and limit the moblin’s movement again. Wind takes the opportunity to CUT THE MOBLIN’S HAND OFF. Which is. INSANE. But to be expected from the Hero of Winds. Also Four’s got his bow drawn here, but afaik he never actually uses it in this battle.
Then Wild, in a quintessential showcase of Breath of the Wild’s combat, scales the moblin’s back (using Warriors’ still embedded sword as a foothold!!) and pulls out his own sword to attack. But the moblin is faster here and grabs him by the arm and tosses him away. His arm might be broken, given the way the champion clutches it for the rest of the battle. Four is at his side, unused bow still in hand. It is of note that Sky is nearby as well.
Then Hyrule!!! Using the iconic Down Thrust move from his second adventure (Adventure of Link) and probably also his jump spell, falls out of the heavens like a stooping falcon and stabs the moblin right in the back of the neck, finally felling it. Teamwork!
Tumblr media
Hyrule stumbles back and Wind is quick to wrap an arm around the traveler and cheer. Hyrule is bashful here, but not uncomfortable. My favorite underrated duo <3 (also they’re nearly the same height here????? what????)
Warriors finally wakes up. (His poor eye, man 😭) I love all of their smiles as the adrenaline from the fight starts to come down, the relief in this panel is palpable.
Tumblr media
Then Twilight, as worried about Time’s wellfare as he ever is, is shaken from the moment as he turns his attention to the old man. He’s finally back on his feet, though based on his posture here it doesn’t seem like it’s been for long. Legend has a hand outstretched, it looks like he wants to help steady the other hero or otherwise check on him, but Time waves him off.
Time worries about the strength of the moblin. He did not participate in this fight, but he just had a front row seat to just how hard it was to bring this monster down and how injured they all got in the process: Warriors’ eye, Wild’s arm, his own side… that’s a good third of their team significantly wounded enough that none of them were able to rejoin the fight. Against a moblin that Time had been able to take down all on his own previously. He’s right to worry. Twilight is still quietly worried too, in the background.
Legend cracks a joke to relieve the tension, prompting Time to praise their efforts. Then he continues his previous train of thought, musing about how Not Normal the entire encounter was, and we get a really cool visual representation of a voice over as we see Warriors retrieve his weapon and clean off the blood, subtly hinting at its later significance.
Tumblr media
We get a name drop of our antagonist (side note: I think it’s interesting that it’s Four who calls it by name, “the Shadow”, when he’s also the one who’s previously had experience with a Shadow in his own adventure) and the significance of the blood is explicitly pointed out. Twilight then calls attention to their wounded, setting up his role in the group as the heart <3
With the threat gone the fairies of the forest return and heal both Wars’ and Wild’s injuries and attempt to heal Time as well, but he waves off their concern (after they’ve assumably already healed his side), establishing a lovely little rule of thirds and emphasizing his reluctance of having others worry and fret over him (“Don’t fuss over me”), which is very ironic considering what happens later on….
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It seems that he shooes them away from his face specifically, seeming to imply to me that the fairies were interested in the old wound that claimed his eye. Obviously there's not much that can be done about that now, but it’s still interesting to note 🤔
Warriors finishes Legend’s sentence next (which Legend notably doesn’t seem to mind), we get some more emphasis on the blood, and the boys are off!
We end on the second ever shot of all of the heroes together, Time included this time (ha), and the words “seems we are on the right path to understand the cause of our meeting,” which is assumably still Warriors talking. I’m not sure if there’s significance or not in how they’re all standing here, but it’s incredibly epic all the same.
Tumblr media
This first little arc is such an excellent and clever way to set up the basic premise of the entire story and to introduce all of our main players here, and I continue to be ceaselessly amazed by Jojo’s keen attention to detail. All within 20 pages of gorgeous art!

Woooo LU update! "Entrance"
Looks like we were right, the dungeon is the same one Twilight chased the Shadow through. Even in this earlier time, it's apparently a ruin. I have lots of questions about the nature and origin of the dungeons in LoZ. Warriors calls them "old tombs," and Legend echoes this with "Hyrule's tombs." Was that the original purpose of most of them? Or are they just referring to the way many dungeons are dark, dank, underground, and/or haunted by undead creatures? Interesting word choice.
Tumblr media
I am very curious about what Hyrule is referring to. Is he aware that some of the items he has found belonged to the hero before him (Legend)? Which ones? The handy/power glove? Power bracelet? Red and blue rings? Is the headcanon that Legend made Hyrule's dolls going to be made canon?? (Also I love their expressions, especially Wind's.)
Love the mention of monsters unique to dungeons! I am so excited to see more. Hyrule is absolutely correct, wallmasters are gross and very annoying. The skulltula was very creepy. Good job, Jojo.
Tumblr media
Their reactions here are interesting. Legend is unfazed, shield out but holding steady. Wild, on the other hand, is stumbling out of the way with an expression I cannot put words to, but which appears on my face when I find a spider on the ceiling at 2 am. He has not encountered giant man-eating spiders in his travels and it shows. Also, the return of Time's bow! He is a pretty good shot for missing an eye. I wonder if he had to learn to adjust his aim. Shooting down skulltulas in dungeons is probably taking him back to his own adventures. Maybe not so good memories.
Tumblr media
Legend's little prank with the scarf is cementing my realization that he and Warriors really do like to mess with each other. It is also making me wonder if monsters are ever going to do the same. @w1lmuttart made an art pointing out how the Links' attire could be used against them. Yikes!
Tumblr media
Twilight is very much on Time's mind. He's worried. I like the detail of Wind in that panel too, since Time has been growing closer to him as they've discovered their connection. It's also easy to see the family resemblance in Time and Twilight's expressions and features here. Warriors makes a good call, but Time knows "it's dangerous to go alone." I wonder how they will end up splitting up.

Vio Link Analysis
This is an analysis of Vio(let) Link from the Four Swords manga. Link to the other parts, along with a more in-depth explanation of what this post is about.
Personality:
Calm, collected, sarcastic, and highly intelligent. Vio is the group’s strategist, always thinking several steps ahead and analysing situations carefully.
Behaviour:
Early Attitude:  Vio is initially reluctant to work with the others, often acting superior and insulting them directly or indirectly. He preferred to act alone, because he thought the others were underneath him in sense of knowledge.  Relies on his intellect to solve problems.
After the Betrayal:  Despite his betrayal (which was actually part of his plan), the group quickly forgave and accepted him back. He feels some guilt, especially towards Shadow, for what he thought he had to do.
Later attitude: He realised that he was not the only one whose ideas could succeed, and that there was indeed strength in numbers. The failure of his plans, his near-execution and being saved by the other Colours humbled him immensely. His interactions with Shadow also showed him his own humanity and how to incorporate feelings into his plans. He now respects his other three parts and wants to work with them actively.
Interactions:
With Blue:  Frequently butts heads with Blue, usually through sarcasm and verbal sparring, though both enjoy a good physical sparring match as well.
With Green: At first he didn’t listen at all to what Green had to say, not really caring about a plan from someone who isn’t himself. Later one he respects Green and values their work together. Probably would provide strategic advice and help make decision based on logic if they are needed.
With Red: He never was really mean towards Red, but he also didn’t step between him and Blue when Blue bullied Red. That dynamic only really changed that he became more observant about Red. Vio always found him sweet. Left brain, Right brain kinda situation.
With the Group: Vio initially tries to act alone, but after his betrayal and the group’s forgiveness, he learns to value teamwork. He becomes more supportive and accepts that he needs the others to succeed. He acts as part of the team and not above it.
Motivations and Morality:
Prefers to play the long game, not afraid to using opponents’ emotions to his advantage. He is driven by logic and strategy, but he doesn’t ignore the emotional weight of situations(e.g. fighting their father and being unable to hurt him). He’s willing to make tough choices for the greater good, even if it means feeling guilty. Vio’s loyal to his oaths and goals, never truly abandoning his beliefs.
Vio is sarcastic but not unkind, and while he is the smartest, he no longer acts alone. He accepts and values the other parts of himself and the group. He’s sarcastic but supportive, and while he once tried to act alone, he now embraces the group’s strength, always striving to do what’s right, even if it’s difficult
How Vio Would Act:
Vio would approach situations with a calm, analytical mindset, always thinking several steps ahead. He might make cutting or sarcastic remarks, especially when challenged, but he isn’t cruel. In tense moments, he’s the one to keep his cool and devise a plan, but he’s also willing to take risks for the greater good. If the situation is based heavily on emotions though, then it may be a bit difficult for him to from a ”good ending” plan or doesn’t act at all. He values the group’s unity and, despite his past mistakes, is deeply loyal to his friends and his ideals.

ive decided to make a list of every enemy that has shown up in the linked universe comic thus far. because. idk its interesting i like data. under the cut bc this is kinda long
Deep Shadows: Moblin (black-blooded) (looks like from ocarina of time) (they are in time's time)
Threatening Shadows: Bokoblins (black-blooded) (from wind waker), swarm of Keese (normal?) (game unclear) (still in time's time, but after the postman shows up)
The Shadow: Lizalfos (black-blooded) (from ocarina of time), the Shadow (ocarina of time lizalfos form) (still in time's time.)
Shady Escape: Bokoblins (wind waker) Lizalfos (ocarina of time), the Shadow (lizalfos form), mysterious ringing* the other enemies do not actually fight, only the Shadow. Creates a portal after sky uses a skyward strike)
Divine Dark Reflections:
Wind and Time fight: Shield Moblin (skyward sword), Bokoblins (wind waker), Bokoblins (twilight princess), Lizalfos (ocarina of time)
(all possibly black-blooded? All flee instead of being defeated.)
Warriors, Hyrule, and Sky fight: Bokoblins (wind waker and twilight princess), say they seem scattered, likely the same ones.
Warriors and Hyrule fight: the same enemies as Wind and Time. (epic battle. probably black-blooded?)
Arc ends (comic: regroup) with the Shadow (lizalfos form) standing dramatically over the burning battlefield.
Miss her: mysterious ringing* summons stalfos (i think ocarina of time, although they do also resemble stalfos knight from alttp) and lizalfos (ocarina of time)
Likelike: Likelike (obviously. game unclear, likelikes look very similar across games). Also, the Shadow (lizalfos form) does something with his dark triangle to the enemies from miss her, makes their eyes glow.
Shifting Shadows: same enemies from miss her, mostly focused on Twilight fighting the Shadow. The Shadow shifts from lizalfos form to iron knuckle (still from ocarina of time)
Sunset: still the same enemies. Wild uses stasis to hack off the outer layer of armor on the Shadow (iron knuckle form.) the enemies not killed flee.
Night: the Shadow (iron knuckle phase 2) bursts out of a pile of goop. creates a portal.
Entrance: Skulltula (ocarina of time), anti-fairy (a link to the past)
Crescent Flame: Keese (singular) (game unclear keese all look the same)
*mysterious ringing: I believe that the mysterious ringing might be a red wizzrobe from wind waker. Iirc jojo once said something about the ringing not necessarily actually being like from a bell, but that was the closest sound effect she could find, and I think that the sound effect of the wizzrobe works with that. Second, most compelling: the red wizzrobe summons other monsters, and it does so in a puff of smoke that looks very similar to the effect used in the comic.

What I absolutely love about Warriors characterization from the fandom
Is how his love life looks like and how he seems to never settle down
But like it makes a psychological kind of sense that he would act like that
The last time someone tried to get him to settle down was when Cia started an entire War over him
A war where everyone was starting to lose patience and just wish to actually hand him over
Like that has to be traumatizing to know that people would be happy to throw you to the wolves just because it is more convenient
The only reason why they didn’t was queen Zelda who would not give in in case the enemy starts giving more and more requests that they can’t follow
And most of them were probably even convinced that he should be lucky for having a hot woman after him
Him acting up and getting on with all the ladies is essentially a middle finger for Cia because all she had to do was ask nicely and now she ain’t getting any action ever while any other woman even her sister gets a piece of him
It would even be an realistic trauma response
The sheer uncertainty and fear of not knowing if his allies will hand him over while knowing what Cia will do to him must have been horrible
It actually happens in real life too
Man must be traumatized even if Cia never got what she wanted because even attempts at what the fandom implies about her intentions
Because there are support groups even if it never happened it will be traumatic anyway
He got screwed over by the army almost as badly as Legend
