Lighting his face is such a tough task, I had to get it right along with messing with colors/blending modes to capture a creepy atmosphere (hopefully), combined with facial expression + body posture for spooky season.

At the end, I had fun regardless and I hope you guys enjoy this dark mess <3

Made a chicken pie today

Despite the recipe being practically foolproof, this fool managed to make so many mistakes, such as forgetting to rehydrate the dried onion before putting them in the hot butter; burning said onions in under 2 minutes because they were not rehydrated; forgetting to pour the cornstarch slurry *slowly* into the pan, resulting in the burned onions being encased in little rubber sheets & having to start the whole process over. I also had to use frozen crusts instead of refrigerated because I couldn't find any in the store; it wasn't until about 15 mintues ago that I realized that I never actually looked for them in the refrigerated section...

Anyway, despite errors & substitutions (I could have *sworn* we had poultry seasoning) it was pretty damn delicious.

Ok so Cyrus was originally made by Peter Walter II for general entertainment. He eventually fell into disrepair and was forgotten about in a flower field (don’t ask me how i haven’t figured that out yet <3)

he was later rediscovered by Mark Ray Walter and repaired to take care of Peter V. When he grew up, Cyrus picked up gardening as a hobby :D

When he started taking care of VI, he let the kid paint his arms (it was a desperate attempt to stop him from drawing on the walls). he ended up keeping the design for nostalgia and repainting it every few years :3

Sorry if this is insensitive but how do you survive if you can't drink water?

omg no i do drink water!!! if i obeyed all of my obsessions/compulsions i would be dead.

i don't drink a lot of plain water bcuz that is most likely to ignite the obsessive thought for me (but actually i have a different compulsion which requires me to drink a lot of plain water in one sitting in a specific way + specific location or else my dog will attack someone + that one is immune to the "will make me evil" one so. adaptive i guess) but unless i'm having a really intense episode i drink a LOT of coffee + tea + sparkling water + gatorlyte (which tastes like piss btw but works well)

I don't know that anyone wants to replace trees, but there's plenty of urban areas, especially in high-density zones, where the space available for foliage was unfortunately stripped bare. As far as urban development is concerned, it might be sometimes easier to put up something like this, as opposed to spend years trying to re-zone enough ground for a comparatively small patch of land to be fertilized, seeded and covered in juvenile trees that'll take years to reach their full potential - if they even do at all, considering their relative lack of space.

My source is my own father, who was a Real Estate appraiser for Montreal, before his retirement. He knows quite well how laughably complex it can be for a city to turn a few square feet of concrete into an area fit for greenery.

The vagaries and woes of urban development... There's always a will to do things in generally smarter means, but that will butts up against store owners who have Eminent Domain over a few inches of that contested patch of ground, against urban promoters who'd have to revise years' worth of blueprints, and against politicians who have clear electoral goals to reach, which sometimes run against sensible projects.

I get it - I'd really love it if we could tear up some concrete and asphalt and re-seed entire sidewalks guerrilla style, but then you'll be stuck with taxpayers whose chief concern is out of which pockets these ad-hoc community gardens will come...
