I’ve been kinda out on Owl House for a while but I’m thinking about. How Evelyn died not knowing that some day, her choices were going to give a good, wonderful human the tools to save her home and her people and finally defeat the person who murdered her best friend.

Evelyn gave Luz the path home without ever intending to. She passed down her legacy and left a complicated thread of tragedy and love in her wake. Her choices saved Hunter’s life, a kid she’d never know but still impacted heavily. While her name had been long erased from what she had done, in the end Luz was able to take what she and Papa Titan and those who came before had left and do something good with it.

I have hundreds of little stories involving the Htf lore stuff and my adhd is adhding so help me pick a story to force myself to stay focused on until completion. I’ve narrowed it down to a few here.

old person romance!!! ava always speaking her mind and never shutting up and being allergic to real emotions vs hester feeling the pain of their sister maiming and then leaving them for twenty years and still being vulnerable to write it down and express it the only way they can despite the loss of their jaw. silence surviving to see what their sister has become, feeling despair and grief and betrayal but also can't deny that they still love her bc that's their sister, and getting ava to share her own guilt and helplessness about kenji; ava talking abt raising tula and viola by herself and hester talking about whatever kind of family they had with the other first stoats, and how their role functioned at last bast with so many stoats gradually finding their way over the years--the responsibility of providing a home in the aftermath of death and doing it while holding the guilt that you werent enough to save the person you love the most in the whole world.

(hester getting jaw surgery with the help of human science and the light, so they don't have to wear a gas mask all the time, and speaking for the first time in 20 years. tula never quite trusting silence and always giving them the stink-eye, and bennet being kind of awkward 'cuz ava is awesome and intimidating as an in-law but her partner is his former boss and both his in-laws will probably live way longer than him and it's kind of weird. i think thorn would be worried about his role as stoat representative and the stoatal relationship w humans, right up until silence confirms they are 100p on-board and then he will relax completely around them, but viola will always be sketched out as well, like her sister. lila will also follow tula's lead, but jaysohn would follow ava's and end up bragging often about both his cool and powerful grandparents. the painfully awkward conversation that ava brings up all by herself to the suffering of everyone else including hester when she has the "they could never replace your father" conversation, even tho tula's already with bennet at this time and thus has had this convo with her own kids already, and hester knows they're not kenji and would never try to insert themself like that into ava's kids' or even grandkids' lives, but ava insists on talking about it bc she's doing emotions now! embracing change! and this is truly one of the only times tula and viola and hester lock eyes and understand the frustration and love they all have for ava lol.)

this got long!!! oops. but ye, ava came back from the dead to yell in silence's face about how much they don't scare her and i was like "i'd ship it" and i stand by it lmao.

Me, big braining it: guys what if Anrifi's irrational (some may say it's perfectly rational. Anrifi thinks that it is for the most part but he can also recognize when it is suspiciously instinctual rather than spurred on by his issues with the caste that he actually thinks about) aggression towards other fuschiabloods is because of the figure that haunts him in his dreams and Anrifi just found a way to take that internalized message and rationalize it given how the royal class of Alternia acts? Guys what if that's the reason.

also side note that I feel a little bit weird about sending because I'm nervous about overstepping but future by jack stauber seems very goopycore to me..

rubbing my vile little hands together OKAY!! so I planned on writing literally everything pre-mask down in like one neat little story but I haven't exactly. finished yet. I will try to be brief :3

After many weeks of all the slaving away and group bonding slash therapy slash imminent death scenarios, eventually Goopy and co didn't meet their quota on time. none of them actually know for certain what happens (only rumor that it's bad) so when the sirens start blaring out in space after leaving Gordion, the first thing on the captain's mind is something along the lines of, "they're going to send people out to execute us" or whatever. so, they make a very panic-fueled decision to quickly try and re-route the ship to the most habitable (???) place they can think of, either March or Vow, in an (again, panicked) attempt to evade these "executioners". probably March. anyway, well, the ship does behave as normal, but it doesn't exactly stop the company's disciplinary procedures. mid transit, they all still get that very rude awakening when they're forcefully ejected from the ship, and, at least for Goopy, the shock of it all has him out cold within the first like, ten seconds, only really catching a glimpse of all of his found family quickly turning to specks in the void, and a nearby, quickly-approaching celestial body.. Anyway :] you know how objects in motion in space don't really... slow down? or stop? ever? Goopy's unconscious body is just free floating right towards this thing. it doesnt take long for him to just enter the atmosphere, barreling down into a blistering-cold hell and slamming into a mountain of fresh snow. fucking everything in this boy's body may as well be broken, but he's not dead!! miraculously!!! Eventually he wakes up of course, and holy fuck the pain is almost immediate. he's hurt, scared, confused, and cold as all hell, and unable to move an inch with anything he owns. so he does the last thing he can think of, and that's just to weakly cry out names in hopes that any of his buddies he's come to cherish will hear him and rescue him somehow. but. unfortunately, it only seemed to attract unwanted attention...

EDIT: I FORGOT ABOUT THE SECOND PART OF THIS ASK nonono not at all not overstepping even a little bit I think it's awesome that ppl make connections with my fellas with other stuff!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I did watch it before typing this all out (probably why I forgot) and I definitely see where you're coming from YEEE 🤝🤝 GOOD angst good drama!!!!!!

ever since he's been declared fit enough to practice again, nika has been a menace to the dragoons. he has no real intention of becoming one, of course. he doesn't want echoes of ancient, draconic rage in his head - he's got enough of his own. instead, he needs something to add to his arsenal to take zenos down. his pride won't hear of much else. and when you're the warrior of light and the savior of the fucking city, nobody can say no to you walking into their halls with no real prior experience with the lance and asking to be trained. it doesn't hurt that some dragoons are quite pretty, like say, heustienne de vimaroix. nika has no plans to switch partners anytime soon, but heustienne being cute softens the blow of not knowing jack shit about lances. at least he can aim the thing really well at that third eye on zenos' head next time he sees him.
