Bakugo Katsuki x Reader

You and Katsuki has been dating for 2 months. He might be known and seen as a rough and strong hero, but it shocked you to know how soft and respectful he was ever since you two got together.

Being with Katsuki who treats you like a princess without you asking for it was damn magical. He cooks for you, he buys you your fav snacks when he goes on groceries, Katsuki always makes sure you are always well and comfortable. He always make sure that you receive the best.

That's why the shock and disappointment in his face when you opened the car door for yourself does not need any explanation. As you close the door, you see him with his mouth wide open like you just did something so horribly unbelievable.

Katsuki hurriedly walks to his side of the door and even before sitting in the driver's seat, he goes, "What the hell just happened?"

You look at him smiling. "What?" You ask innocently. He pointed to your door with his left hand. "Oh. Love, I can open my own door, it's okay."

He scuffs at you like you have said something so horrible. "No, it's not okay! It is supposed to be me opening the door for you. I can do it for you."

"I know you can, Kats. But I can also do it myself, you don't always have to do it. It's not a big deal, don't worry about it." You say calmly, as you sense how serious Katsuki was about it.

You have always been independent. It was a long time you have not been with anoyone romantically, so these there are not a big deal for you because you know damn well you can do it yourself. 

Katsuki slowly breathes in as he try to explain himself. He holds your hand with both his hands. "My love, it is a big deal for me. If today I am not opening the door, then what else am I not doing for you?"

You claims both his hand as you brush your thumb onto the top of them. "Katsuki, I understand that. But no one even saw that you didn't do it so don't—"

"I am not doing it for other people to see, love. It's for you. I want to treat you the best way I possibly can, and I want to do it as often as I can because that's what you deserve." He says while looking straight at your eyes in all sincerity as he brings his right hand to cup your cheeks.

You have never known a love like this. So seeing how this man can make you feel the most strongest and the most vulnerable at the same time is all new for you. You lean on his touch. 

"Katsuki..."

Ever since you have been with Katsuki, every second of every day he makes you remember that he is the love you never knew you needed. 

"So, you gonna let me open the door for ya all the time or am I gonna start being a pain your ass?"

Castiel popping into Dean's dreams was becoming a pretty bad habit - especially when he stopped being a passive observer.

Dean didn't know that the Cas in his dreams was really Cas, didn't imagine he would spend the evening hours when everyone else was sleeping flitting through Dean's mind rather than any of the other interesting things Dean imagined Cas might rather do.

And Cas thought he was being selfish, letting himself have Dean here but not in the waking world, thinking this was all he could have.

Until one morning where the lines between dream and reality became blurred. And Cas was in the kitchen with Sam making coffee. And Dean rolled in still groggy from sleep, not thinking much of anything other than Cas and coffee. And when Cas hands Dean his coffee, which had been a recurring theme of late in Dean's dreams, of course he responds with a quick peck and a gentle 'Love you.'

It takes a few seconds for Dean to realize what he's done.

When it clicks he scurries away and hides for most of the day, thinking he's put Cas in an awful position, aware of Dean's feelings and forced to reject them.

Except when Cas finds Dean in the garage needlessly toying with Baby's innards, Cas confesses what he has been up to.

Both men realize they CAN have what they want.

Cas continues spending his nights in Dean's dreams, while his body rests in Dean's arms.

Sorry I haven’t posted art in like… a week? Jeez, I’ve been working on OCs and designs for my Story Meadow Lily! (Concept name) and most of the designs arent really that well to be released to the public yet lol, so just bcuz I haven’t posted any art, doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on it lol.

also mayyyybeeee a bit slow on art bcuz 2 days ago I got Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D for my birthday! Yes I know my birthday was awhile ago, Amazon is very late lol. Tbh I’ve been no life-Ing that game like nobodies business lol, I actually am about to get into the Zora Domain part! So that’s exciting! I totally forgot how fun it was to play a Zelda game that wasn’t BoTW or TotK, OoT just feels sooo different! It’s refreshing in a way lol, idk maybe I’m just being nostalgic (am I too young for that? Idk) the game is reallllyyyy fun!

and the last thing! Yes! I did change my username, LunaVixen was an… very old name from an old character I made almost 4 years ago (in October) that I got from combining the 2 names I got from a name generator lol, it didn’t feel like me anymore and decided to change it, who knows how long this one will last, but hey! I like it lol, funny cuz my nickname is Lucy and I get Lucid dreams a lot… lol, silly silly, btw! You can still call me Luna or Vixen! I don’t mind it at all, I still love the name lol

Let's talk some more about Daniel's madness as seen in B&G (which is the only book we see it in, though it is mentioned in PL that he has recovered).

Marius has brought Thorne to his home and introduced him to Daniel the night before. This is Thorne's POV:

As he came to the door to the chamber where Daniel made his wondrous cities and towns, he paused, and very reticently glanced inside to see the boyish blond-haired Daniel at his work as though he had never retired for the day at all.

Daniel looked up, and quite unexpectedly, gave Thorne an open smile as he greeted him. "Thorne, our guest," he said. It had a faint tone of mockery, but Thorne sensed it was a weaker emotion.

"Daniel, my friend," said Thorne, glancing again over the tiny mountains and valleys, over the fast running little trains with their lighted windows, over the thick forest of trees which seemed Daniel's present obsession.

Daniel turned his eyes back to his work as though they hadn't spoken.It was green paint now that he dabbed onto the small tree.

Quietly, Thorne moved to go but as he did so, Daniel spoke: "Marius says it's a craft, not an art that I do." He held up the tiny tree.

Thorne didn't know what to say.

"I make the mountains with my own hands," said Daniel. "Marius says I should make the houses as well."

Again Thorne found himself unable to answer.

Daniel went on talking."I like the houses that come in the packages. It's difficult to assemble them, even for me. Besides, I would never think of so many different types of houses. I don't know why Marius has to say such disparaging things."

Thorne was perplexed. Finally he said simply, "I have no answer."

Daniel went quiet. Thorne waited for a respectful interval and then he went into the great room. This whole scene fascinates me. We get so little of Daniel in this book, and this exchange with Thorne is so interesting. He’s focused on his models, yes, but he also seems so dejected that Marius calls his art "a craft" and admonishes him for using kits for some of the houses and buildings, even though he’s doing a wild of amount of work to put these little worlds together. And the weaker emotion Thorne mentions? I suspect that’s sarcasm. Marius had introduced him as “our guest” and I wonder if this is a sardonic, almost self-deprecating response to that. As in, “I am mad creature who builds models, I am not hosting anyone” sort of thing. What really gets me is that Marius tells Thorne Daniel is wholly obsessed with his models, to the extent that he passes out on the floor in front of his work tables unless Marius intervenes. But he asks Daniel if he’s fed in an earlier scene, presuming Daniel is at a stage where he can leave the house by himself if he chooses, and he’s not unaware that Marius is less than impressed with his model worlds. I tend to think of Daniel’s madness as being overwhelming and all encompassing, and we don’t know at this point how long Daniel has been mad. I assume it’s been worse but that’s only an assumption. And we know he gets better and he and Marius become very close by Prince Lestat (they seem close now but very much in a caretaker/person in need of care sort of way). We just get this strange little window in what is years of madness Daniel suffers.

I'd love to hear other people's thoughts on this and how you picture Daniel's madness and the arc of it if anyone wants to share! And just as a sidebar, I love that apparently Throne is impressed by his models. I think that sets the stage for them being friends later, if nothing else.
