I find it pretty interesting how. Okay so I completely get it from a Doylist perspective (Mr. Guthrie wants it to be relatively easy for us listeners to clock that this is a Same But Different version of a guy we already know).

But from a Watsonian point of view, I find it so, SO fascinating how the Manager, a version of the eldritch Outer God Nyarlathotep, who is known for being Of a Thousand Faces/Forms, chooses to appear to these two *exactly* like Kayne But Different. And its not even he picked a random human everyman guise to put them more at ease after all their eldritch run-ins or anything; no, he clearly looks and sounds Exactly Like Kayne. But Not. And I have to wonder.

Why is that? Was it like. A thing where he was reaching a similar state of gender/identity euphoria and the Aw Shit This Guy Beat Me To It And Also Proceeded To Ruin It For Everyone?? Or do you think it was after the fact, that whatever form(s) this Nyarl was taking before, he saw what Kayne was doing and decided No, I Don't Like This, And I Need To Make It Clear To People I Meet That I'm Trying To Counter/Undo His Mistakes?

If John were to write something, do you think he'd use the british spellings because Arthur is british and John presumably gets all his knowledge on human stuff through Arthur's subconscious?

Or would John glean through Arthur's subconscious both the british and American spellings, and then intentionally choose the one that's best for subtly teasing Arthur
