The sun was very close to the horizon, barely touching it.

His scar hidden by makeup and dressed in a hooded disguise in commoner’s clothes and a long coat, Allen Walker led Johnny Gill past some groups of people towards the town at a swift walk.

“William, do we have enough money to stay tonight? Considering your appetite…” Johnny asked softly.

“Don’t worry about it, I got it covered.” Allen replied, looking back at Johnny to smile as he neared the gates.

A large mouth erupted from the ground and Crown Clown activated. Everything seemed to slow down as Allen’s reflexes kicked in. Crown Clown grabbed people falling into the akuma’s maw and stretched to set them down away a bit forcefully, but the pain got the humans to run away. Johnny was held in ribbons above the maw as Allen’s left arm erupted with green light as he quickly turned it into a sword and stabbed the inside of its mouth under its ‘brain’ to purify the demon.

Allen landed on the ground. He set his sword back into his arm and carried Johnny in his arms as he jumped up over the town wall using Crown Clown as a spring. He hid in an alleyway. Any remaining akuma would follow him. He just hoped that news of his flashy self-defense exorcism didn’t reach the Order too quickly.

A pink quickly dusted over Allen’s features, and a laugh then bubbled up from his chest, hearty and playful. “Is it now?” Allen mused, lovingly putting an arm around Lena’s shoulders. “So tell me Lenalee, what else? Falling asleep together can’t be the only thing, hmm?”

      Nari stood in the center of a small grouping of people, all of them chattering and asking her questions. Everyone was so curious about the stranger in their town-- especially since the girl showed up just in time for strange things to start happening. However, all their questions just got an annoyed smile and no response. Finally, just as she was getting overwhelmed, she spoke.

      “ Museun mal-eul nugu naneun amu saeng-gag-i... Naneun yeoleobun modu ga silh-eo ” { I have no idea what anyone is saying... I hate you all. } The woman around her all laughed lightly as she casually slipped away, wanting nothing more to do with these people. Hand clutched the fabric over her mark, feeling nervous with all the attention. Guess I’m not staying in this town at all.

He chuckled lightly, watching in curiosity to see what she would do. He didn’t often let exorcists actually touch him, so she’d better make the most of this.

there’s a strength to her silence, to the way she plants herself obstinately in the dirt; she is a pillar of stone in the guise of a girl, soft at heart but hard in spirit, with head bowed she will face all that oppose her with the fierceness of a lioness though she will not bare her teeth or scrape her claws against the ground she has no need-- her gaze pins any under her as she has the wisdom of years beyond her time kindness, true empathy, the bonds of friendship, these will carry anyone through the darkest of nights

Road turned her head to slightly see the exorcist out of the corner of her eye before answering her. “What’s your point? It’s only murder if it’s two humans killing each other however I do not view you inferior beings as fellow humans. So it’s not murder just nature taking its course.”
