The Medium Tank T6 was the prototype for the Medium Tank M4 Sherman, the most important American tank of the Second World War. Work on the prototype Medium Tank T6 was carried out at Aberdeen, and it was completed by 2 September 1941. The T6 was armed with a short 75mm gun M2, which needed two counterweights to operate properly with the elevation gyrostabilizer.

Bovensiepen Zagato, 2025. The family who founded the Alpina tuning business (now part of BMW) have launched their own car brand in collaboration with Zagato using mechanical parts from the BMW M4. Launched at the Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza, the cars will be built with extensive personalisation options available for the interior and exterior. Deliveries will begin next year though no prices have been revealed. The 603hp turbocharged straight 6 will provide a top speed "in excess of" 186mph

This channel has been showcasing A LOT from the M4 20 Build of The Sims 2. But I thought it'd be nice to show off the other prototypes. I never played these much before just BECAUSE 1) M4 20 is the oldest available build we have, so I figured it'd be the most different from the final build, and would have more interesting content. And 2) The August Builds barely have any Debug Cheats at all (and I haven't found any yet). Therefore, they're not as easy to mess around with like M4 20 is.

Primary differences from M4 20 July 29th's build... that I've noticed.
The opening is SLIGHTLY more finished.
CAS Lighting has been fixed.
Grandparents aren't editable
Randomization works
Most CAS items appear fixed, even if some thumbnails use the incorrect colors/previews
You can no longer zoom in as close to your sim in CAS
In certain views, you can't move the camera at all (like when you're adding a belt)
The "Style" icon has been changed the Final Build's.
The CAS icons are in the correct / Final Build's layout.
The Sims theme (Lemon Jelly Remix) has been removed/replaced.
It has debug cheats, but very few, and those very few aren't too helpful
The regular cheats don't work properly. (Unlock all objects does NOT unlock them, and Unlock all fashions only unlocks 44 fashions)
Build Buy is no longer debugged (therefore no "scenery temp" or Urbz leftover items in it)
CAS is no longer debugged (so no Costume Trunk or hidden items in it)
There seems to be no more "broken" Wants (A Want that is blank/has an "X" over it)
No families are available in Free Play (Not even the "Bradley" family with "J.J." and "Bobo" ... though they still seem to exist in this build)
From what I've seen, most of the Story Play Sims have their Final Build appearances
Story Mode Sims' thumbnails are changed to the Final Build's.
While some visitors are still prone to staying until one of their needs aren't met (and then causing the game to lag because it struggles to have them "fail" this need) they are more likely to actually LEAVE before this happens. In the M4 20 build, most visitors struggle to leave and tend to stay indefinitely.
This build might STILL struggle with Sims' deaths, but in a different way? My "Roxanna" sim died and disappeared from the household. This could be because the Grim Reaper failed to appear. In the M4 20 build, Sims WILL die and stay... it just takes them a while to die (lagging the game as they struggle) Though, Roxanna disappearing from the household could be a bug and not something that always happens. I'll have to play more to confirm this.
Hard to tell if it's REALLY prone to more crashing. M4 20 Build TECHNICALLY crashes a lot, but it's mostly caused by Captain Catastrophe's random appearances, for some reason. This build, however, seems to crash for many more (unclear) reasons.
The "Save Game" boxes appear more finished.
Uses the "Loading, please wait..." text from the PAL version. (The US loading screen just says "LOADING")
"Talk social" ALWAYS fails for some reason. Even when it shouldn't (plays the "accept" animations)
Sims will suffer a glitch where they cannot be interacted with -- any attempt will cause them to sort of "reset"
the Need Bars now visibly drains (they drain in M4 20, but the visual bars are glitched and do not show them draining)
Sims can sit down and sleep properly.
Sinks appear to be glitched and upon using them, they will ALWAYS create a big mess like what happens when they break (even when they don't break in this build)
The "AE Arcade Cabinet" no longer uses the "A-Maz-Ing Matey!" texture from the PC version, and while it uses a texture SIMILAR to the Final Build's, it's still different! (I'll get a better pic of it in game and not just the BB thumbnails later)
The Teppanyaki table now resembles its Final Build instead of having its Bustin' Out appearance.
I'm not sure if any of the leftover Urbz models (Kiki Blunt for example) still make an appearance. I couldn't REALLY play long enough (without it crashing) to know. As I said in the end, I'll make another attempt later.
And yes. I like using the same Sims but that's because I think it helps showcase differences amongst the games using the same characters, if that makes sense? And it also kiiiinda gives these videos a certain style. :)

Separated the TIE/d Defender from the TIE/d Droid. They are not TIE/de and TIE/dr. The TIE/d Defender was a secret project, and so the fact TIE/d was already used was not well known.
TIE/de Defender excluded for balance purposes.
TIE/sh removed for redunancy.
TIE/ca, /hu and/ ap-1 removed because of Gundam Escalation.
Added /designations for /ct, /fs, /ot, /pr, /sn
TIE/ad: This was not a copy of the X-wing, as the Empire did not need an X-wing, nor would it have helped. The Avenger was instead the simple development of the TIE line. People will often assume that the Avenger became an Imperial standard fighter, it did not. It was an extra-special fighter for extra-special pilots.
TIE/br: A modified TIE Bomber that turns it's sizeable bomb bay into a troop compartment. This allows combat troop deployment. Normal troop deployment shuttles are highly functional, but can only really be used if you have space superiority. The TIE/br can fly with the combat squadrons and board a ship mid-fight, even going through mighty capital ship's ray-shields.
TIE/ct. A genius creation, as it allowed all TIE Pilots to easily use the vehicles, preventing the need for extensive cross training. This allows the Imperial Navy to have it's own organic material support, without having to rely on the presence of Imperial Army or the incredible rare Stormtrooper support.
TIE/dr: The scarcest resource with the development of the TIE series was, quite frankly, pilots. The Imperial Navy gave it's pilots incredible and detailed training programmes. This would allow either a skilled pilot to lead a squadron, or a squadron of droids to be deployed without any risk to the precious pilots.
TIE/ex M1: The TIE experimentals were created as part of an... experimental programme. They were all remote controlled. While this made perfect sense for experimental prototypes, the remote control technology prove highly vulnerable to interference or direct attack. M2, M3, and M5 were essentially hardware testing prototypes that resulted in later-series TIEs. The M4 was a TIE fighter turned into a homing missile, which could be useful if interference / interception were not such a big issue. The M1: Bizarro: Fits a turbolaser to a TIE-fighter. While this would have limited combat endurance, this limit would not really apply before the combat life expectancy would kick in, nor the duration of the sortie for even the longest battles, as TIEs would normally cycle back to their capital ship during battles for quick repair and rearmament. Or ejection, recovery, and given a new craft to reenter the fray.
TIE/fs: Essentially an extended TIE frame fitted with a pair of blaster turrets. This allows TIE wings to have native fighter screening, without having to rely on the Skipray Blastboats, which are technically Ships of the Imperial Navy, and could be used independently. In truth, their abilities made independent use arguably better than that of simple fighter screening.
TIE/in: A direct line improvement to the TIE/ln, and it's intended successor. It has moderately more blaster firepower and speed than an X-wing, with the extremely small size and cost of a TIE/ln.
TIE/ln: The main space superiority fighter of the Galactic Empire. Despite common misgivings, it had above average performance when it was created, with a fraction of the size and cost. The Empire's plan was to use coordinated battle groups, of TIE/ln, TIE/sa, and capital ship support. They also had extremely good ejection systems and pilots in full EVA suits. If a ship is destroyed in combat, the vast majority of the time the pilot survives, is recovered, and given a new ship. TIE/ln's are cheap; skilled pilots are precious.
TIE/ot: The only New Canon on this list, because it's the only one that actually adds to the world. TIE/ln were meant to be phased out of service, but the Galactic Empire spent all of it's money building crazy superweapons, and then when these superweapons were destroyed, the Empire could simply not afford to phase them out. This lead to the TIE/ln being used in a far wider variety of roles than it was originally intended. The TIE/ot gives TIEs their greatest power, the power to actually land.
TIE/ph: This was designed to strike fear into the heart of the Empire's enemies. It had a hyperdrive and shields, and luxurious room, at least when discussing starfighters. It also had a cloaking device, and would allow operatives to deploy anywhere in the Empire without being detected.
TIE/pr: The fall of the empire put a kibosh on it's TIE development, but much later, the Imperial Remnant was able to continue development, and the TIE/pr was an improvement in essentially every way. The new Fel Empire did not need to police the entire galaxy, and as such, greater investment into individual fighters was quite rational.
TIE/sa: The second part of the initial TIE doctrine. The TIE/ln was the space superiority fighter, while the TIE/sa carried the heavy ordinance. The TIE/sa would expend their ordinance, and then return to their base ship for rearmament, only to reenter the fray with more weapons. This allows the TIE/sa to apply several times it's ostensible ordinance in a battle.

Information One of the primary civilizations in SATIZ-IRATH, the inhabitants of Laile are the descendents of one of the first human expeditions to leave Earth 600 years ago using shuttles that traveled via supercavitation.
The first Runi generation-ships were propelled via supercavitation. Supercavitation utilizes a cavitation bubble to reduce the friction drag on an object to enable high speeds. The shape of the object's nose initiates this bubble. The bubble extends past the aft (back) end of the object, which prevents contact from air or water along its sides. Other advances in Runi spaceflight include hybrid marine and aerospace crafts utilizing electromagnetic fields which create quantum vacuums. This allowed the early prototypes to ignore aerodynamic and hydrodynamic forces, including the craft's inertial mass. Shuttles that do not have soliton cores and are unintended for stellar travel still essentially operate under these basic principles.
Today they are called the RUNI and differ minutely from humans in their appearance, biology and coloring.

THE SATIZ-IRATH STAR SYSTEM IS IN THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, 5.025 PARSECS (16 LIGHT-YEARS) FROM EARTH. A PARSEC IS APPROXIMATELY 3 LIGHT YEARS, SO 5 X 3 = 15. A non-Federation race (and with little interest in joining the Federation), they made their home in the habitable star-system of SATIZ-IRATH. Their culture has diverged significantly from humanity, as has their genetic structure - more closely resembling Orions than humans. Their world, LAILE, is M3 (Mass Differential 3). which has resulted in adaptations to their musculoskeletal system to withstand the high-atmo. LAILE is M3. This means the field of gravity on Laile is 3x stronger than Earth's. The first expedition to land there required technological adaptation to survive, but over the past 600 years they have begun to evolve a much denser skeletal system (through intentional genetic engineering as well as intermixing with the local Animan Orion [M4] population) and more robust cardiac efficiency.
Technology exists to allow those from M1 and G-class (such as Earth) planets to visit those who diverge significantly more easily, in the form of temperature regulator chips embedded under the skin and gravity equalizer bracelets.
These all operate under the principle of inertia negation, which reduces the wearer's mass to their-normal whilst on the surface of a highly pressurized atmosphere. Planets like Ajilasi Prime (M4) would kill a person who was not wearing a bracelet in short order, as they would very quickly develop the symptoms of crush syndrome. Some people undergo neuromuscular augmentation therapy if they plan on living and working permanently on a disparate MD-world. A mass differential is measured by the variances in newtons per kilogram (N/kg) of a planet's gravity field which is solved by weight divided by mass (mass is solved by volume x density.) Earth's gravity field is 10 N/kg, IRO's gravity field is 20 N/kg, LAILE is 30 N/kg et cetera (these are rounded numbers).
Another factor of their deviations from us is the proliferation of the tropane alkaloid anticholinergic drug hishuri that pervades the environment of Laile. The shur, as it is known, causes brilliant blue eyes in long-term users alongside the potential to develop neurological conditions such as Riel's Syndrome - named for Tala Riel, the McKinley specialist who discovered it.
Also known as Medullary Dysregulation Syndrome or MDS. This causes profound changes to the Runi's vision and breathing, categorized by 3 symptom clusters: agonal breathing, bilateral heterochromic iridocyclitis and stromal apathy, and sleep disturbances. Many also report seizures and cluster headaches. Those who become dependent on hishuri often require Synapse implants to function - these regulate baser functions of breathing and sleeping. The use of hishuri came at a time when the planet was under brutal siege, and every single man, woman and child was required to fight.
For a time their identities were rooted in war and struggle, which eventually took a turn for the worse - one Runi, RATAN POLIS, was unsatisfied when Laile unified and believed it was a sign of weakness. Recruiting from pools of the poor and destitute, orphans and abandoned-ones, he founded the Laile Resistance (LR).
(RATAN POLIS) RATAN POLIS was arrested in 2383 during a visit to Kolar – the Orions handed him over for a significant sum - and during the Interstellar Criminal Court's landmark Federation v. Polis case, he was sentenced to Aoraki Penal Commune in New Zealand, a Special Forensic Unit for violent offenders of his caliber.
(KARIJIN "JIRAN" KELA) Culture Much of Laile is locked in struggle, a desert world with poor surface resources but rich oil deposits, the Iro Corporate Congress (comprised of the Aven people) have waged war against the primary inhabitants for many years.
This has created something of a warrior ethos for the older stratos of Runi, but most young Runi are disillusioned by and therefore abrasive about these things. Within the last half of the 2380s-early 90s, a subculture of Runi has emerged focused on political activism, pacifism, mutual aid and protesting, originating within Kada musical spheres.
Technology The Runi are warp capable. They use soliton drives (described below). They have a lower level of orbital technology, primarily hoppers that require maintenance over time as they're broken-down and second-hand. They use Active Denial Rifles as their primary form of weapon, some units in the Laile Resistance use ion spears. The primary currency on Laile is the cuprate diamond strip, which is a rare material used to create superconductors and reinforce soliton drives.

"OK, so an FTL drive - it's not traditional faster-than-light, either, which was my huge gripe with this, for the record. It uses these things called solitons, which are a wave that maintain shape and energy while moving at constant velocity - it's the shit Lentz posited, that hyper-fast soliton solutions exist within general relativity, and these solitons are maintained integrally by cuprate diamond crystallization - literal superluminal motion enabling objects within the 'wave' to be shielded from tidal forces." ADR stands for Active Denial Rifle (or ADP, for the smaller hand-pistol variant), and it is a ubiquitous directed energy weapon that uses microwaves to burn a subject's skin via the princple of dialectric heating. Most state and non-state parties (law enforcement, military or otherwise) in Satiz-Irath use variations of this weapon, as it provides unparalleled control. This weapon can either be lethal (causing heating past the point of human tolerance) or non-lethal (causing first or second-degree burns) depending on the power of the beam and the length of time it is fired.

d4dj stands for “dig delight direct drive.” there are 11 in game units, 10 of which are playable. the units are happy around (happy ara), peaky pkey (peaky p), photon maiden, lyrical lily (lyrilily), rondo, merm4id (m4), call of artemis (coa) (old women yuri), unichørd, abyssmare, a bad cynic doggo (abcd), and the last (with no playable characters) is the retired LMO (old men)

to explain the lore itself, i’ll split it into a few parts.

Supercavitation utilizes a cavitation bubble to reduce the friction drag on an object to enable high speeds. The shape of the object's nose initiates this bubble. The bubble extends past the aft (back) end of the object, which prevents contact from air or water along its sides. Other advances in spaceflight include hybrid marine and aerospace crafts utilizing electromagnetic fields which create quantum vacuums. This allowed the early prototypes to ignore aerodynamic and hydrodynamic forces, including the craft's inertial mass. Shuttles that do not have soliton cores and are unintended for stellar travel still essentially operate under these basic principles.

These planets are sub-classified depending on their individual make-up. Lahee-class planets are mostly ice, with average surface temperatures below -40c across a majority of the planet. While these are technically survivable and breathable, these worlds are not habitable without terraforming or EVA or specialized clothing, for most species.
