I wish the world and especially schools had more acceptance for all kinds of people and more respect for everyone's individuality. I wish adults modeled that for us kids to learn the same. I do have some good memories too (will probably write about them in another post). I'm very grateful to know some people I met in school. They have been genuinely kind and loving to me. 🌼 I'll miss the building, I'll miss the routine. School had become a habit, and habits are hard to do away with. Who would ever want to get hurt themselves? No one. When you hurt someone else, thinking how they feel and acting sensibly, is beyond the capabilities of the people of this era. Rather than doing that, they seem to act brashly, in the heat of the moment. Those wondering whether Karma is unheard of to these idiots, please bear in mind, that these people don't see themselves as crude, insensitive or cruel. They think they have acted rightly. Justly. Imagine a Wizarding World where Voldemort did exist but the Prophecy of the Chosen wasn't taken rather seriously by Voldemort, Harry would still have his parents, his godfather Sirius, Lupin, and also Peter Pettigrew (like some others, i believe he was also truly part of the gang, so i am not leaving him out). Yes, they'd be fights and deaths even then but can you Harry's smile when it'd be his parents who dropped him at platform 9 3/4? When he'd be receiving letters from so many people? Coming home to his own home, bringing along Ron and maybe the Weasley twins? I can just imagine how well the twins would get along with James and Sirius. And Hermione would get along with Lupin and Lily pretty well too, unless Harry or Ron told Sirius or James how she'd set Snape on fire. I imagine after that Sirius and James would get along pretty well with her. Imagine Harry and Ron teasing and laughing with a jumpy yet humble Peter. Imagine the fire burning merrily in the Potter's living room and all these wonderful people just existing happily, side by side with the people they care most about.
